It seems confusing at first and then Laury Falter weaves a web that leaves you enchanted and unwilling to put the book down. I found myself staying up too late at night reading to see what was going to happen next.

This book has everything I love. Romance - love romance, not lust romance. Real sacrificing friendship and lots of action, drama and suspense. Awesome. The characters feel amazingly real, the scenes are described so life-like that I found myself inside this book numerous times. I am already reading book number 2. I am addicted.

The plot of this story is really good and interesting. The idea itself is brilliant, but the story telling, the writing... This is just disappointing. This is the first book I read from Laury Falter and may be I need to give it more credit, I hasn't decided yet. But the language, the description of emotions, feelings and character actions didn't impress me at all. I didn't believe in the love story or at the main character behavior / feelings, they didn't touch me. I think I might read the second book, just out of plain curiosity, but the sneak peak given after the end of the first book, proves, that there didn't come much logic in characters feelings and actions based on them.
Fallen Angels :: Surface Detail (Culture series) :: Look to Windward (A Culture Novel Book 7) :: Rise of a Phoenix (The Nix Series Book 3) :: Mistress of Mellyn 2nd (second) edition Text Only

I am very pleased with this book. I definitely would recommend this book to anyone who loves the paranormal! I love books regarding fallen angels, angels and guardians in this book. It has a great love story to go along with it as well who doesn't love that!

This series quickly became one of my favorite series of all time. It was slow to hook me at first however the mystery of Maggie's life and her story kept me involved and I quickly understood why this is such a beloved series. If readers stick through it they won't be disappointed in the least.

The writing is very very basic here. It is obvious that the author TRIED to make some things surprises or shockers but each of them were so obvious, I felt badly for the author. The conversations fall very flat and don't really seem to flow. I actually started to dislike the main character who fell in "love" very quickly and then when he disappears she just talks about how sad she is. Get over it.

I didn't even finish the book. I wanted to, to see if anything was redeemable, but couldn't make myself.

This was a pretty good book. I enjoyed the story & the characters. However, I got so irritated at how often sentences were deleted from page to page. I have no idea how much I missed. I would like to finish the trilogy, but I'm not wasting $16 on the next 2 books if the author can't take the time to proof her work!

consider: have Maggie roommates go for a trip leaving her home alone for a few weeks with eran only to walk into trouble. also call "the fallen one's" fallen angles. it sounds a lot more better and I always caught my self saying fallen angles instead of the fallen
"ones"
