A good well written story, but difficult subject matter. It takes place before & during wartime of World war 11. With all the horror & gory details. If you can handle that. It is a good read.

Karolina's Twins unfolds as Lena tells her lawyer about her life as a Polish child who is captured by Nazis and sent to one of the most brutal concentration camps in Germany, Auschwitz. Lena's mesmerizing account of her life as concentration camp prisoner comes to a fascinating conclusion as she reveals a secret she has kept for seventy years. Her story is impossible to put down. It's a five star story.

From the author of the brilliant Once We Were Brothers comes another Holocaust story investigated by Liam Taggart and his lawyer wife, Catherine. While it is gripping and intriguing, I didn't think it was as successful as its predecessor and I found the device of Lena's narrative somewhat artificial. Still worth a read, though.

Saw the author speak last week in Miami. Had read Once We Were Brothers and loved it, so I bought this book. Thrilling, captivating and well- developed characters.Didn't want the story to end. Somewhat predictable but a good read especially since my father left Poland in February 1939!

The most heart warming yet terrifying novel I've read in a long time. The facts of war brought out in this book were very disturbing. In the mist of misery, another story of sacrifice emerges.
This book is a must read for all mankind.

A wonderfully written story that was both hard to put down and difficult to read. I learned so much history about the pain and suffering of the Polish people during World War II and the strength and resilience of those caught in the nightmare.

The Karolina's Twins Novel started off with [email protected] John Hall remembering that the 11 alphabet in the USA is K. Which brings John Hall to another novel Think and Grow Rick in the Chapter of Leadership 11=Cooperation. Read the novel in continuance and it felt good.

The author has done a superior job of portraying the time period and what actually took place all within a fictionalized story. The characters and their physical as well as emotional struggles come to life as the reader becomes amerced in the story.

I could not put this book down! Riveting description of the what Polish Jews endured during the Holocaust interwoven with a wonderful story about young woman trying to survive. Very descriptive -- you feel like you are there with the subject. Highly recommend!

Love his stories. Great blend of happy and sad.
Always leaves you thinking and wanting more. A bittersweet way of paying homage to those lost in the haulocaust and those who tried to stop it or at least help those suffering.
