Wow! Haven't read anything like this before when reading vampire books. Book kept me interested until the very end, in fact, it leaves you wanting more. This is first book I've read in the Blood Courtesan series and I'm dying to read more of them. Kol is one sexy vampire and Nova is extremely naive. So naive she doesn't realize what a monster her human boyfriend is. I received this book as a complimentary copy in exchange for a honest review. And boy am I glad I did, this is one set of books I don't want to miss. If you like your vampires sexy, honorable wrapped up in a very alpha male, this book is for you!

I was gifted this book for an honest review.

Bitten the Blood Courtesan Series is a bit of a dark read. Nova has led a sad life for many reasons. But she hasn't given up, even though she suspects her boyfriend is using her. When he pisses off a vampire, Kol the enforcer is at their door. Nova won't be intimidated, she may have her share of damage, but she won't let it define her and she won't give up. If only she could get Kol off of her mind. Kim has a little different writing style. Some of the action descriptions seem abstract, but it makes for an interesting feel when reading.

Great read. The first story of the Blood Courtesans Series that I have read and find it to be very intriguing. Definitely going to read the other books. This story is very well written, amazing detail, and although a dark read, it still tugs at your heart strings. I am looking forward to reading more about Kol and Nova in the next installment. I would recommend this book to all paranormal lovers. I received an advanced read for an honest review from Kim Faulks and Michelle Fox.

A fast paced fun read. It is interesting how Nova has convinced herself that her boyfriend, Jared, really cared about her enough to overlook how he has taken advantage of her. His final betrayal of selling her as a blood courtesan was more than she agreed to, this is the last place a virgin wants to earn money. There is violence, action and suspense to keep you reading. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

How far would you go for someone you loved?

Jared, a human, has done it again, this time he has gotten himself into a financial jam with vampires. When Kol, the vampire enforcer, comes to collect Nova, Jared's human girlfriend, makes the choice to do anything she has to in order to save Jared's life.

The author does an excellent job of drawing you into the story line. There are some twists and turns to the plot. Loved the ending!

I found this book far darker than Myra or Winter. Not that it is a bad thing just very different. Kol is cold and unfeeling, he is intrigued by Nova's courage but by the time he actually rescues her from her own stupidity she is badly injured. Nova is nieve, she keeps baling her live in boyfriend out of his financial problems until she needs Kol to save her life. Not my favorite of this series. I received this arc for an honest review.

I enjoyed reading this Vampire Blood Courtesans romance with interesting characters, suspense, action, danger, emotional dialogue, and romantic desire. I couldn't put this fast-paced book down and was so caught up I was sad when it ended. This is the first book I have read by Kim Faulks and she has left me hungry for more. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I received Bitten: Nova as a review copy. The gifting did not determine the review/rating, which reflects my honest opinion. A good read with some fresh ideas and a great main female character (who makes stupid, emotional decisions, but they are consistent with the character). Some parts of the plot weren't believable to me, but I still enjoyed the story.

This is another great book in the Blood Courtesan collection. I found it to be a little darker than the others I've read and a little different. These are great characters and a very interesting story line. I look forward to reading the other books in this collections.

I received a copy of this manuscript from one of the authors in exchange for an honest review.

This is short and doesn't build deep characters or plot. Kol and Nova. Vampire enforcer Kol meets Nova when her boyfriend borrows money and doesn't pay it back. The boyfriend is a worthless looser and tries to Nova as a blood courtesan to pay his debt and line his pockets. However Kol has othrr ideas. I received this in exchange for an honest review .

Another good book to add to the Blood Courtesans series. In this one Nova was to my mined just too trusting. Having been put down so many times by her boyfriend, it was about time she realised that there was more to life than him. However, it took a monumental betrayal before she began to see him for what he was and perhaps the life that she could have.

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review. This book is well-written. I just liked a little less than the others in the series but it's still a good book. It's just a matter of personal preference. The chapters fly by!

This absolutely sucked. Haha. Pun intended.

The storyline was nonsensical. Let me give you an example: the heroine is beaten, actively dying. The hero finally shows up - no explanation about his decision to let the heroine be raped and killed or why he changed his mind. Anyway, he gets some of his blood down her, although she's dying so how he did that ... anyways, he takes he to Dracula castle, again haha, and she's now well enough for raunchy sex. Like fifteen minutes after she was almost dead from a traumatic beating. He forces her to her knees where she gives A+ oral - having never done so - and then she gives up her v-card to the anti-hero. Meanwhile they are both spewing word vomit that makes no sense.

So one star. The Blood Courtesan series people should have tossed this to the trash.

I really really like this series. Every book is so good. I usually read them in one sitting. Nova and Kol make a great couple. The action and chemistry off the charts good. All I can say is keep them coming. I received this book free for an honest review.

I literally could not put this book down. All the twists, turns, and action grabbed me and wouldn't let go. I would give 10+ stars if I could. This was one of the best books I've read in a very long time. It has everything you could want in a book. I've recommended it to all my friends who read.

I love the premise behind the back story of Blood Courtesans, I just would like to see a more filled out character development occur where it becomes closer to a full novel, rather than a shorter novella that leaves me wanting to sink my fangs deeper to draw more blood out of the characters.

I hated this entire book for a number of reasons. First the writing is just way too gobbled, as if the author could not decide which of 3 or 4 different paragraphs to describe something so she just threw them all on the page in a long, meaningless set of ramblings. If you are that desperate for word count, maybe you should reevaluate the story. Secondly, the content of the story itself if horrific and ludicrous! A man breaks into your home and tries to kill you and your boyfriend and you get...aroused? Seriously who in the world would react that way?! There is absolutely nothing at all even remotely likeable about any of these characters. The main character is completely mindless not to mention spineless, the only reason you would even entertain the possibility that you would keep reading is in hopes that they all die at the end! The events make no sense, whatsoever! A woman who is a virgin allows herself to be sold for rape to raise money they don't even need to protect a boyfriend that she hates and wants to get rid of? Come on...nothing about that makes any sense whatsoever!! Then to add to the idiotic story, this stupid human who hasn't got the sense that God gave a goose, somehow manages to have time to get beaten up, track down a gun, then find the secret hiding place of one of the cities most notorious and powerful vampires which he, by the way, single handedly manages to subdue with no effort and no resistance and just walks away taking yet another opportunity to abuse the woman the vamp just paid 50k for all before the "Vampire Enforcer" can get there????Seriously??? And then he just kills everyone anyway instead of doing it before she gets attacked?? And we're expected to believe any of that? Nothing about this story makes any sense whatsoever.

And lastly, and perhaps the worse offense of all, this poor excuse for fiction does nothing but glorify violence against women as if the entire purpose of writing this was to put out their own sick fantasy of abusing and raping a woman. It's not erotic or sensual, it's just flat out despicable.

Unless you're looking for something to line the litter box, don't waste your time with this atrocity.
