The author describes the story in well written scenes and details that capture the imagination and draws the reader deeper into the story and a co-worker with questionable motives adds some drama and suspense to the story. The characters are strong, compelling, easily related to and draw the reader deeper into the story with their sexual exploits and relationship drama.

The attraction between Mitch and Anna is super hot and burns up the pages and their frequent and increasingly passionate sex scenes scorch the reader with their fiery intensity. As the couple explore their sexual desires they engage in a little bdsm, spanking and voyeurism that really spices things up. The relationship is slow to build due to Anna’s worry over letting go, but as she discovers her sensual nature, it gets harder for to deny Mitch’s desire for more.
Anna’s job as quite a bit of drama to the story, not only because her increasing sexual cravings for Mitch causes some inappropriate public displays but because there is a co-worker who is sure that Mitch is bad news.

Appearances can be deceiving and you should never judge a book by its cover… well in the case of this one, you should because let’s face it you don’t want to miss out on this enticing and sexy story. I mean what’s not like about tattooed, motorcycle riding hotties.

Very good story, very hot as well. Mitch looks like a bad boy because he rides a motorcycle & is tatted all over his body & has a bad ass attitude. Anna is the dream in Mitch's life & also an RCMP officer at the local detachment. After meeting on the sly for months, Mitch decides that he wants to go public with his relationship wit Anna because he has ideas of making this relationship very permanent. One problem Anna's partner feels that he is a detriment to her career & the look of their detachment so he devises a lie to get Mitch to stop seeing Anna. Months go by & the agony of being apart is killing both of them until Anna learns of the lie & sets the record straight with Mitch. Anna lets him know that she's not happy with his control of her life & has a few things to decide before she takes him back. Will Anna let Mitch back into her life? Has Mitch learned a lesson about meddling in Anna's career & life? What happened to her partner after she found out his deception? Definite recommend & I really like the fact that this series is connected to the Rocky Mountain series.

This book starts hot and stays that way. Mitch and Anna have great chemistry and are so intensely drawn to each other. There is a good storyline to go with all that scorching chemistry too. There is a fair amount of conflict and drama but it didn’t always come in the ways and from the places I would expect. This is the first book by Vivian Arend that I have read and though the romance stands alone there were parts where I felt I was missing something that I might have known if I had read the earlier books. I have to say I absolutely loved Mitch! The tattooed bike riding bad boy who’s not so bad after all. He was awesome and so sweet. I didn’t always understand Anna, she brushed off things that could have been a big deal and freaked out about things that didn’t seem like that big of a deal to me. I didn’t really understand where her need to be perfect came from and it might have helped me if we were given a little more background on that. All in all this was an enjoyable, very hot read and I enjoyed it. I received an ARC from the publisher through Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.
