The Doctor Wears A Stetson (The Diamondback Ranch Original Series

I enjoyed reading The Doctor Wears a Stetson as it was a very nice sweet story of a young woman who has gone through a lot of family troubles while still hanging on to her lost love. The man is a doctor who left the small town because he wanted more and realized maybe just maybe the grass isn't always as greener. The book's characters are well developed and you learned a lot of about the families and their history. Nice light read.

Jessie Kincaid has had a crush on Cameron McCade since he had invited her to prom when he was a senior and she a freshman. Cameron left Salt Fork after graduating and became a successful doctor in Houston. He returned 17 years later. Jessie is a widow, now owner of her deceased father's garage and service station, which is in financial trouble. Cameron still makes Jessie breathless and unknown to her, she is having quite an effect on Cameron.

Good book. I enjoyed reading this book. I wished I had known they had a sweeter version that had lighter love scenes. I just don't like all the trashy descriptions. I don't think they are needed in a story. I read a lot of Christian romance novels and they are as good or better without all the trash in them. But the story was a good story. I just skip the trashy love scenes.

I like the plot. There are really three stories going on at the same time in this book. Everyone but one police officer thinks the bad guy is dead. You have a grumpy only man and his son and a murder everyone thought was reckless accident. Then the story of the bad guy trying to get the victim who got away. Good stuff.

Great start to a new and exciting series. Each book will cover one member of the family. Truly a romantic tale about young love and being united many years later. Happy ever after ending with marriage and a baby.

Even though this was not the "sweet" version it wasn't nasty as some. It's pretty cool. I really enjoyed it and I think I have a couple of others in the series too. If not can't wait for more

Make believe is fine, but characters should be believable if you aren't writing a fantasy novel. The 'strong' female character was a wishy washy weenie who made dumb assumptions that no modern woman would. I won't be bothering with any of the others in the series, and I'm thankful I got this one free, or I would want a refund.

I have never read anything from Anne Marie Novark but after reading this books I will be keeping a look out for her. This book is based on two people, Cameron and Jessi. They go way back to prom and reconnect when they are older. I won't mention anything else but this book is a true love story. I can't wait to read more about the other brothers. I love a family series.

I was hooked the moment I read the first chapter. Cameron and Jessie was an amazing story. I loved where they started in high school and then moved on to the adulthood of their lives. This book is one I highly recommend to anyone that LOVES ROMANCE!!!!!

This was probably one of the most boring books ever written! Jessie wasn't stubborn, she is dull and stupid. I kept hoping for more depth in the characters, but it just didn't happen. Unfortunately I clicked 3 stars and couldn't take back 2 of them. Good thing this was free or I would truly have been upset.

Jessie and Cameron's love story is so good!!! After 17 years they reunite and things bloom from there. The last chapter was the perfect ending to the story!!! I would definitely recommend this book to all romantics out there

Will be ordering more of Anne Marie Novark books soon. Dr. wears a Stetson book was awesome! Jessie & Cameron's story began as teenagers. Their desire for each other was ignored, they both had other plans. As it turns out they loved each other and never told the other. Now as a Dr., Cameron comes home to visit his family & Mother, they meet up again when Cameron's Jaguar breaks down. Jessie, the towns greatest mechanic can fix anything. She takes care of his car and repairs it. Meanwhile, Jessie's lived a hard life with many struggles and losses and is afraid to love the one many she really cared about. This love story brings out the strength of both characters. Gotta read this one to find the happy ending?

I actually thought this was a Linda Lael Miller title and ordered this by mistake! :-) However, I enjoyed it. It was entertaining, with appealing characters and it was the perfect 'low-commitment reading', as my sister and I would label it. (I think there could be a whole new category created: LCR.)

The story line was not bad, predictable, but too much explicit sex - thought the author was more interested in the sex than the story. So much more tantalizing to have implied sex rather than the blow by blow description.

Easy going predictable girl fight against it but not whiny... I can see reading more from this series and enjoying the growing Mccade clan!!

Really nice story... predictably... girl falling in love with prom king... years later she fights against falling in love with him but at least she's not whiny! I can see myself investigating in this series and enjoy the ever growing Mcade clan!!

To have someone come back into your life after so many years and fal in love again was just a light enough dream to be real. The struggle between the characters was there as it would be in real life. Not happy with all the sex as it could have been as good of a story without but loved the mothers part also.

Good story line covering a young couple in high school, the love for each other, that neither would admit until years later. The trials and tribulations of rediscovering how much they had missed as they went about their separate lives. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Well written and impossible to put down. Would have enjoyed more family background for everyone and more countryside descriptions. Medical stories are always interesting to me. I gave it 5 stars because of its great story development.

A great story of lost and refound seventeen later. Jessie and Cameron have finally found each other again, thank goodness. Jess is one very hard headed, certain she is right, dyed in the wool person. Cameron certainly has a hard time convincing her otherwise. A real fun read.....

I really enjoyed this books. The writer was very insightful, keeping you turning the page to the next turn of events. It was a page turner.
As soon as time allows, I will read more of Anne Marie Novark's books, look forward to it.

I really wanted to like this story, but the characters were flat.. The Dr.'s personality came across as trying hard to be the good guy, but not really interested. The garage/prom girl' story tries hard, but I found it difficult to believe her story. Her personality was zero and her difficulty dealing with her belief that she could not have a child that she wanted, but refused to seek medical help just didn't ring true.

I loved this book! I loved the characters, the writing, and the fact that there are more in this series! It was such a special kind of love between 2 people who weren't even really high school sweethearts but had always loved each other. I was beginning to wonder if they would actually ever end up together but the outcome was everything it should have been and that they deserved! <3

I absolutely loved this title, Book 1 of the Diamondback Ranch Series. It was one of those books you just couldn't put down. The McCade family is exzciting, funny and sexy . I read all four books in 4 days and amlooking forward to another story, hopefully about Kelsey, Austin's daughter

Loved this story! Great characters and the plot keeps you wondering what Is going to happen next. There is also sub-plots along the way as well. Good character development, some unknown qualities keep readers in their seats. Plan to read the next book in the series. Thank to this author for great fun. /Stephanie

This was a very entertaining read. I enjoyed they fact the heroine was a mechanic and totally comfortable in that world. I also loved the fact that Cam couldn't get her out of his mind after taking her to the prom 17 years earlier. She'd always held a special place in his heart. Recommend!

This is another enjoyable book by Me. Novak. I love her style of writing. Her characters are real, sexy, handsome and has personality plus. Don't miss this wonderful story. I'm on to books 2, 3, and 4.

I was pleasantly surprised at just how good this book is. I am currently looking to get the rest of the series because the characters have become my friends, like so many characters have before. If you like cowboys, this is a book for you!
