FINALLY – WOLF

If you are an Uncertain MC fan you have been waiting for this story. Wolf was first brought to us in Michael’s book – Coup de Grace. In an instant knowing what the man did for his friend in his death made me want his story immediately. However knowing Lani – I knew we would have to wait.

Raven is continuing to live her nightmare in her head. She hasn’t told anyone what happened to her while she was taken. The only person that saw her was Wolf. He saw her broken and saw her bound. Not only did he care for her but he covered her and she will never forget how he held her. Leaving was the best thing to do. He has his girl – he has his life and he has his son Nathan.
Needing someone like her and someone abused and used as she is certainly isn’t a page in his book that she feels he is eager to write.

Wolf doesn’t feel that he is worthy of a strong woman like Raven. He knows she was tortured and seeing her testify against a man who brought that torture to her flesh deserves more than he can be or give her. Never in a million years did he expect her to run off though. As trouble begins to find Raven again along with Wolf and some other members of the MC he needs to enlist the help of a man who hates him. Keeping her safe may pose more difficult than it should be because Wolf is also a threat to her – her heart and her soul could cleanse his darkened self.

This is one very in depth and beautiful read. I was completely terrified once Raven revealed what she endured and how she blamed herself for not keeping July safe. Raven tried her best to take the brunt of harm but evil took over and she watched them inflict pain on a woman that deserved nothing of the sort. Wolf sees the harm that his sister and Raven fight through still in their heads. Going back and forth between his own personal demons and living with July and Ravens showed a deeply emotional and loving man beneath the hard surface. A father like no other he never wavered from protecting Nathan either.

Don’t skip over the chapter “Lanisms” as I have pegged them. They are once again brilliant. Sadly this is the last full length novel in this series but Lani has somewhat promised to keep these characters alive and well in future releases and we know they cross over into other story lines from time to time. I don’t think I can ever let any of the men from her series leave my heart completely.

The cover as usual is spot on. The photograph shows the anxiety of Wolf and his life and the pain that vibrates through his soul. Excellent choice and kudos to the model.

Amazing read – amazing ride with these men and so much more to come – Thank you for the ARC! Review to post to Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets. ~ Amy

I didn’t realize Lani Lynn Vale could make this series any better, but Wolf is now one of my favorite men of the series. I had been so curious about him from the first book because we know he is raising a son that isn’t his so I am really happy to get all of the details behind that. Each book in the series must be read in order to understand and appreciate Wolf and the other characters in this book.

Poor Wolf has seen his share of heartbreak. Not only was he left for dead, but his wife, unborn child, and best friend were murdered. He has been struggling to pick up the pieces while trying to raise Nathan and being a single parent is hard enough but with his job keeping him busy, it’s even harder. I loved seeing Nathan’s grandmother be a part of this book because you can tell Nathan is truly loved. He may not be his son, but Wolf loves him with his whole heart. The moments between the two and seeing this big bad biker being so tender with him will leave you breathless.

Raven is another victim of tragedy after she had been kidnapped and suffered from the hands of a mad man. She has just been existing and trying to move on, until Wolf. She knows they have this attraction, but every time they get closer, she always runs away. It seemed like every time they got one step closer to being together, Raven would run and leave them further apart than ever.

But, one thing I loved about Wolf is that this man doesn’t take no for an answer. He knows what he wants and goes after it, or her. Raven has no idea who she is dealing with because Wolf’s heart is set on her, and she doesn’t stand a chance against this rough and tough, but tender hearted man.

“You’re mine just as I’m yours, and I’ll never let you forget that.” - Wolf

As Raven’s life is threatened even more, Wolf is always there to save the day. This poor man goes through so much to keep her safe, and you can really feel him opening up his heart to her the more you read. As with each book in this series, you are drawn into each story, and I felt like I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. I read this book in one sitting because I have been so intrigued by Wolf, and what a great book this was! The heat between them and their story of love is one you don’t want to miss. I hate to see this series end, but I must say he was well worth the wait after reading this 4 star book!

Love this series and have been anxiously awaiting Wolf's story since the last book Dirty Mother. Wolf is a good man who sometimes makes bad decisions. As a Texas Ranger and a member of the Uncertain Saints MC he understands that sometimes you have to take matters into your own hands with both the law and your personal life. His personal life has been dealt some pretty crappy hands over the last few years. He is now the adoptive father of his best friend's son, a young boy whom he loves like his own, his wife and unborn child were brutally murdered, his sister barely escaped a horrific nightmare with her life and Raven (the woman he has finds himself thinking about day and night since her rescue) has decided to leave town. While he can't change many of the wrongs life has thrown his way he isn't willing to let Raven just walk away for good. He will give he the space she seems to need, for now, but he will find a way to bring her home and back to him.

Raven has escaped a nightmare of epic proportions. Her and another woman were repeatedly beaten and raped before being rescued by Wolf and his friends. She found herself falling for her savior hard and fast but with him having a girlfriend and her lack of good choices in the past she feels like her best move is to move away and try to start her life over. She moves to a new town, find a job that comes with an apartment and is finally making some progress when fate brings Wolf back into her life but unfortunately for them fate also brought danger with him. Now the only way to stay safe is to return home with Wolf but will she be able to keep her heart safe from the man in the process?

Wolf and Raven were great together. Wolf was pure alpha, protective, sexy and dominating but Raven didn't let him walk all over her. You could feel all the emotions between these two throughout the book. Ms. Vale just has a way with words and this series that always leaves you craving more.

I received an eARC of this book compliments of the publisher in exchange for my honest review and opinion. All ratings and opinions stated are my own.

I’ve been curious about Wolfgang “Wolf” Amsel ever since Lani Lynn Vale started providing snippets of his story amidst all of her other alpha males’ drama and instigations. Wolf’s history is not an easy one, and he wears both the physical and emotional scars of one fateful day that upended his life, leaving him damaged, rough around the edges, and suspicious of everyone and everything, with good reason.

Raven is a wounded soul, broken and crushed in ways that most people would have not gotten back up from, but regardless of how many times life knocks Raven on her ass, she works to find her footing again and continues on that path even when she loses pieces of herself along the way…even when no one steps up for her, and she feels like she’s not worth the work. Raven is no one’s charity case, so even though her feelings for Wolf are strong, and she yearns to call her his own, unless she’s treated as Wolf’s equal and needs her as much as she needs him, she refuses to give him all of her.

Wolf and Raven’s journey to happiness is one paved with a number of obstacles, those mostly coming from one another’s scars as well as forces out of their control that can do more damage than they’ve already experienced.

This is the story that Lani Lynn Vale gives her readers in Rusty Nail, and it’s one filled with emotion, drama, and inner turmoil that pushes both Wolf and Raven physically, emotionally, and mentally. Wolf saved Raven from a deplorable, gut-wrenching situation, and she would love to return the favor and help put the light back in his eyes, but in order to do that, she has to truly understand what Wolf wants and needs from her and Wolf has to be willing to give Raven everything in return.

I had been waiting to read about Wolf for so long and Ms. Vale did not disappoint this book whore with Rusty Nail. I guess I should say this, while you don’t have to read the other books first I think you would understand the back stories and enjoy the book more if you do. Each book of this series has been great and also if you haven’t read her other books yet do that too! Anyways back to Rusty Nail and my love for this book.

Both Wolf and Raven have had horrible things happen to them, more than once in fact, so much so that I don’t know anyone strong enough to go through even a fraction of what they have. Wolf has come across as this harden guy but in reality there is more to him and I love how he is with his son. He is loyal, he is sexy and he is now one of my favorite men from her books, but let’s face facts here people I have a LOT of favorite men from her series. What I am a book whore after all, would you expect anything less?

Raven you just want to have the happiness she deserves. She is funny and sassy and strong. I felt for her on so many levels, but I also cheered her on when she took care of business with a certain person (read the book, I don’t want to give it away). Raven and Wolf healed each other; I wouldn’t have picked anyone for either of these two.

Rusty Nail is another great addition to this series. Lani Lynn Vale is an author that is an automatic must read, I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us and her characters next!

Rusty Nail is book number six in the Uncertain Saints MC series and if you havent read the prior five books, well.. first you are TOTALLY missing out on some amazing books and second, you wont understand or appreciate the beauty that is Wolf nearly as much as you should. So stop here - go back and read the first five. Go on. Do it. *gentle nudges*

How do I review this book without spoiling it? Hmmm... that is going to be difficult at best. Lani Lynn Vale is an author I have followed for a long time and she has written a lot of books. I mean A. LOT. OF. BOOKS. Quite a few of her characters are interwoven into the different stories and series and after a period of time, reading all of these books you become familiar with all of them. Such is true with Wolf. He has popped up in different books and now was the time for him to get his own book with Rusty Nail. To say I was ready for this is a complete understatement. Wolf is unapologetically honest. Hes crass and totally alpha. I love him. Hes been through a lot of hell and down deep hes afraid to go through any more.
Raven was one of the strongest female characters in any of these series I have read. She was incredible with all that she has been through. She and Wolf together were just the perfect pair.
Rusty Nail was packed with drama, steam, humor and intensity. The magnetism between Wolf and Raven was completely off the charts! Its a definite must read for any lovers of MC series or LLV fans. I highly recommend the entire series!

Wolf and Raven have been through so much hurt and heartache in their past , together and even again now as they come back together for their chance at an HEA. They have known each other for some time , Raven being friends with July - Wolf's sister. Wolf was the hero that saved her from Jensen and he was her protector and friend after. The problem was Raven felt too much for him and couldn't deal with watching his life moving on without her. Sadly she really had no clue about what he was really doing so when she left it took him by surprise and had she only spoke to him about it she would have known he felt the same. So anyhow - fast forward a few months and he comes for her where she is now working, living and trying to move on. She is mixed in with Wolf's past so deep that Raven is torn between him and the men that have helped her start over. With the threat of her past coming back to haunt not only her but anyone that helped her and July these guys have no other choice but to work together to keep her safe. In a whirlwind of truths , secrets and trouble Wolf and Raven come together and give us some pretty hot chemistry and of course some angst and stubbornness. Can they find their peace and happiness or is there too much in the way ?? This is another fast paced story that packs a punch but leaves you the way all LLV's do !!

In this sixth book of the Uncertain Saints series, we find ourselves seeing Raven and another lady named July in some hot water. What is going on? Who has them and what are they doing to the ladies? When things hit the fan, Wolf finds them. What does he ask Raven if he can do before he even touches her to help her? When Raven finds a dog hanging out around her house, what does she do with him? What kind of dog is he and what has she named him? How did she come up with that name? What does Wolf realize about the dog as soon as he sees it? After Raven testifies at a trial, where does she end up? What happens when she is there? When Wolf shows up at her work, not realizing she's working there, what does he do and say? Who are Travis and his brother? What do they do for a living? I won't say too much more about this book as you really need to read this excellent book that is full of intrigue, mystery, crime, security, love, romance, hot sex, murder, etc. I don't want to give anything away. Just know this is probably my favorite book yet of the series!

RUSTY NAIL
by Lani Lynn Vale

Rusty Nail is the sixth book in the Uncertain Saints MC series but was a great read as a stand alone, it will pull you in and have you telling anyone who needs you just one more page. In this book you see Raven who at first because of the trauma that she has been through her whole life you think is broken. You also see Wolf who you will feel is a cold tough as nails no nonsense man who is really a soft hearted loyal man with a softer side you see through his relationship with Raven and with the son he adopted of his best friend who has passed. Wolf and Raven as they build their relationship have you feel their fears, their insecurities, their passion and their courage to love one another and make each other want to be a better person. Together they will show you that no matter how evil life treats you, no matter what you have been through when love comes it can chase away the darkness and show you the light. After all that is what true love is all about.

Another great book in Uncertain Saints series!
I have been curious about Wolf through this whole series. Just like the other men in the MC he had a sad story in his past. I really wanted to know more about him because of his "son" Anytime a child is involved I am hooked.
Raven broke my heart I do not know how that girl survived the horrific events in her life. Some would say she was weak because she ran but seriously she had an inner strength that gave her the courage to move away and try to move on.
Wolf and Raven belonged together. They had known each other in the past but never let their feelings out. Thank goodness they did because it was instant love, instant lust, and instantly perfect they just fit into each n others lives like they had always been there.
I loved the crime/mystery part of the story that kept me on the edge of my seat til the end!
I hope this isn't the end because that little snippet of another couples story has me really wanting to know. 'How did that happen!!'

Gritty, raw, super sexy, full of twists that you never see coming. Rusty Nail kept me on the edge of my seat from the first page throughout the entire book. The Uncertain Saints series to date has been a darker, edgier series with hero's that walk a very fine line between being the law and breaking the law. This book is no different. Wolf, a Texas Ranger, is the type of hero that inspires book boyfriend fantasies. A fantastic father, a little bit broken, but also a man of deep loyalty and conviction. Raven has gotten a raw deal her entire life, often not making the best of decisions. But in no way does she deserve what happens to her in the beginning of the book. Do be warned that the opening is incredibly hard to read and ugly crying is entirely possible. I loved watching Wolf and Raven heal each other and wanted so baldy for the men who caused so much of both of their pain to come to justice. I highly recommend Rusty Nail but know once you begin reading you will not stop until you are finished reading.

Review: I received an advanced readers coy in exchange for my honest review. I have read a few of the Uncertain Saint MC books in the past (Check my past reviews). But I have not read the whole series, and definitely have not read the books in order. However that doesn't effect the story one bit. This is such a great MC book, but different rom the rest. Yes its a motorcycle gang, yes there is violence and some hot sexy alphas with hot sex scenes. The difference is that these guys are all in law enforcement. Some are Texas Rangers, Game Wardens, and Police. Many of them are also ex military. That makes for an interesting group of guys. This story has it's twists and turns with tits suspenseful situation where peoples lives are in jeopardy which add to this amazing story. Wolf and Raven's story seems destine to be, even with all the obstacles they face towards their HEA ending. It was such a great read. 4.5 Stars!

Wolf and Raven can they save each other? Can they over come their pasts and see that together they are stronger? The dangers they have endures and are faced with are what bond them and separates them at the same time.
I loved the energy of this romance, the attraction they feel for one another is palpable. I love how strong and passionate Wolf is, how much he tried to protect her from his love but in the end gave in and showed her how strong they could be together.
This has all that I crave in an MC book, romance, passion, danger and suspense. Both Raven and Wolf make a couple that will not only bring you tears and joy but will fill you with happiness when they are finally at peace.
Lani, and her Uncertain Saints give us a journey into a world where the police straddle the edge of their badge to ensure that justice is done, which makes for an exciting read!

This is the sixth book in this awesome Uncertain Saints MC series. I have been waiting for a while for Wolf’s story, and I knew going by the snippets we have had along the way, that this would be a great story, and I was not disappointed in the least! Wolf and Raven are both survivors, and Raven tries to avoid Wolf rather than confront her feelings. When Raven is once again in danger, Wolf is the first one there to protect her. These two have such a great chemistry together, and I loved the banter between them.
This storyline is packed full with drama, violence, danger, and most of all love. This author has once again done a fantastic job in writing this story, and I was intrigued and hooked throughout. I recommend this authors work to all MC lovers, and I cannot wait to read more.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book!

Each book gets better and better, haven't you always wondered how can an author top the last dynamite story that they have told and Lani does it consistently time and time again. Wolf was the one Uncertain Saints MC member who's story I have been salivating for. He's a straightforward type of guy, he is who he is whether you like it or not. Raven is a survivor, after going down some dangerous paths she was finally getting her life back on track but ends up getting herself in another situation where her rescuer is none other than Wolf who was also saving his sister. These two tortured souls are so spectacular together their connection was there from the start and when they come together its an inferno. Wolf and Raven for me are the best of this wonderful series and I'm delighted that I was there for their reunion.

Welcome back to the Uncertain Saints MC Club. You have to love an author who can mix humor, suspense and a steamy romance all into one book. This is the story of Wolf and Raven, both who we have been introduced to before, so I would recommend reading the rest of the series before this because there is a good amount of back story.
At this time, I think Raven is one of my favorite female characters; she is not a twig, which can be hard to find in a romance novel. She has dealt with many trials and tribulations, she is funny, and she doesn’t care that frozen meals are unhealthy for you lol… you go girl. She is sweet but has this hardness around her because of the way she had to grow up. It hurts me to think she believes everything goes bad around her. Wolf is the perfect match. His dark and broody personality is a perfect match for Raven, I also love how we get a glimpse of how past characters have grown. One of my favorite parts of this book is the tattoos, once you read it you will understand what I mean, it shows the connection is something deep and meaningful.
I would give this book 4 ½ stars, and cannot wait for more from her. She has not disappointed me yet, and I don’t know how she could if she keeps up this great recipe for these books.

Yes! Freaking yes!! This book was everything! Raven is quirky and the things that come out of her mouth are absolutely hilarious. She hasn’t had the easiest life but I admire the new outlook that she decided to strive for after what she went through when we were introduced to her in Controlled Burn. Then you have Wolf. He’s been through so much and seriously deserved his HEA. I love him! He’s broody but he has a heart of gold. I loved his interaction with Nathan and the banter between him and Raven. Rusty Nail is full of action with a little suspense. There’s plenty of humor that I’ve truly come to expect whenever I’m reading an Lani Lynn Vale novel. She truly keeps you wanting more.

Thisbis my confession: I can honestly say that I will miss this series. I rather enjoyed the Uncertain Saints. Raven and Wolf are no exception. I had a few misconceptions after the last book about what would happen to them seeing as Wolf was in a fairly new relationship. As always LLV came through and took the worries away. Wolf and Raven are two very diff people but at tge same time hold similar characteristics. Wolf was fueled alot by his loss. Raven was often fueled by her insecurities, this did tend to make Raven a bit frustrating at times. Don't let that dissuade you from reading. All in all another well written piece- as is the norm- from Lani Lynn Vale.
