Book 7, Forced Ascent: The Demon Accords

Wow! This series just keeps getting better. I just wish that there didn't have to be a break for John to finish the next one. I have been reading sci-fi and fantasy since the early 1970s and this series goes right up to the top 5 up with Raymond e. Feist, David Gemell, Terry Pratchet and Steven R Donaldson. Keep it up John is all I can say.

this by far shows the depth of Mr Conroes ability to draw the reader to the next word.Even if you see it coming it's sheer artistry is evident in that your close but close isn't the point you find even your proximity is eclipsed by his prose. Also in which John Conroe attempts to recover from the story line where his main character becomes the latest in the long line of badly done amnesiacs.

Awesome addition to the series. The only reason it does not get a 5 star rating, is that some of the central characters seem to be less powered in this story. If you liked the first 6 you will like Book 7.

Bought it. Finished it. Wow. What a ride! New adventures, new dangers and a wee bit of a side trip. So hold on tight and be prepared for an awesome story to unfold.

Now if only I had a time machine to go into the future and read the next couple of books......
