I love, love, loved this book! Adrienne and Mace were such a good couple to read about. The chemistry of their friendship, work relationship, and transition to being a couple kept me glued to the book from start to finish. The small glimpses of other Montgomery family members was fun as well. I am excited to read the other sister's stories also. Carrie Ann Ryan has such a wonderful way of sharing her characters and their relationships.

I really enjoyed reading about Addi and Mace. I liked that they started off as friends and knew each other so well before things got sexy. When it got sexy, whooeee, it was HOT!
There was an easiness to their interactions with each other that was really appealing. I also enjoyed how valuable their friendship was to each other. They talked and were thoughtful. I’m looking forward to seeing them as secondary characters in future books.

I received an ARC for an honest review. First of all I absolutely love the Montgomery Ink series and was delighted to have this spin-off. I am a big fan of friends to lovers and single parents. This book is packed with the passion that you can expect from Carrie Ann Ryan. This is another great series, and I can’t wait to read all of the sisters’ stories. This is another must read.

Throughout her writings Ms. Ryan has crafted a delightful family in the Montgomerys and with this series starter readers get introduced to another part of the family tree. With this release Adrienne and Shep Montgomery have set up a new tattoo parlor that serves as the meeting place for a new set of compelling heroes and heroines that remind us of the importance of family. Along with its erotically-charged romance of friends to lovers readers will be kept on the edge of their seats by the danger to Adrienne’s heart as well as the danger befalling their new business.
Adrienne’s a strong-willed woman focused on opening her family’s new tattoo parlor, a heroine who’s creative and tells it like it is. She’s also a woman who inspires loyalty from those she calls family along with her close knit friends who rally around her when someone starts targeting her business. Along with the strong familial ties, it’s her friendship with Mace that she’s come to count on most. He’s always been there for her, an attraction that she’s buried for years for fear of ruining their friendship. One night changes everything though and after one taste of their sensual connection she’s addicted. From that moment on she’s all in when it comes to their feelings and the future, but it’s a rocky road to HEA courtesy of his fears and the danger creeping ever closer to her. On a whole Adrienne’s a likable part of this story. I enjoyed her interactions with her friends and family, enjoyed their unconditional support of one another, and cheered her on as she stood up for herself against Mace and the villain seeking to harm her and her business. Though I wish readers had gotten deeper insight into her character, the parts we got to see of her were immensely likable and made her easy to relate to.
Mace Knight is an older hero who’s been put through the emotional wringer by his ex and her machinations over custody of their child. It’s left him doubting his heart and desperate to do right by his daughter. When his ex leaves the country for a job opportunity he’s finally given the chance to be a full-time dad. Though it’s a dream come true it comes at a bad time as his feelings for his best friend have suddenly taken a more erotic turn. He’s left trying to balance being a dad with being a lover and though it starts off good things soon fall apart. Mace is a super sexy hero with a talent for dirty talk. He and Adrienne have a strong connection from the start so their quick transition to something more felt believable. What frustrated me though was that the majority of their interactions as a couple were based on sex. That’s not to say that their sexual interludes weren’t satisfying, just that we didn’t get to see them interacting as a couple out in the world. Though Adrienne’s committed to them being a couple Mace never seemed as sure. It felt like he was just waiting for something to go wrong with his decision to end things based on a silly reaction to fear. Though his groveling to Adrienne was well done I wish she’d made him suffer longer as his doubts over their feelings had me feeling vindictive.
This was a quick yet entertaining read with numerous threads left dangling with others slightly tied off. Though the friends to lovers romance between Adrienne and Mace is what drew me to this story, there was plenty of other storylines to catch my attention...almost too many. Adrienne and Mace are a combustible couple, supportive as friends and teeming with eroticism as lovers. Theirs is a romance dealing with his baggage over the past which left me frustrated, while the lack of time given to them also took away from my enjoyment of their fun and flirty banter. On a whole I wish more time had been spent with them as the theme of friends to lovers is a favorite of mine and their early connection held such compelling promise. The mystery surrounding who’s hurting her business felt a bit tacked on too, a bit of a distraction, but Adrienne’s defense of herself had me cheering in a highlight of this story. Balanced alongside the burgeoning romance of these two friends are the updates of previous characters as well as intriguing temptations of what’s to come for other characters. I’m particularly looking forward to Thea and Dimitri. Ultimately this is a good story with much to recommend it and fans of the friends to lovers theme will be left satisfied as we all wait for the next installment in this series.

I enjoyed Mace and Adrienne’s story. They had chemistry from the get go and their friendship had a strong base between them. There was a secondary story about vandalism that I don’t think particularly added to the story but wasn’t adding much either. Overall the story was good and I’m looking forward to the next book.

Tattoo artists Adrienne & Mace are a friends to lovers tale. They both want each other & have a lot of tension before they clash. Addi & Mace have a chemistry that sizzles off the pages. Mace tries to push Addi away, but her Montgomery stubbornness won’t let him. This is a must read for Montgomery Universe fans!

Carrie Ann Ryan has done it again. Mace and Adrienne's story was great. It made me laugh and cry. There friendship is one of the best kinds. Adrienne really helped Mace with Daisy. Mace realized he made a mistake and made up for it in the end. If you haven't already read this book, you really should.

I love the Montgomery Ink books and am super excited to see it continue with the Colorado Springs series. Friends to lovers romances is not my first go to choice of books, but I laughed about "what happens in Vegas" in Fallen Ink. I love the Montgomery extended family and each new book contains more strong characters. Mace and Addi are no exception. Add in a bit of mystery as to who is trying to destroy the new tattoo shop and Ms. Ryan has another hit.

I loved this book and devoured it in hours. Adrienne (Addi) and Mace are best friend’s and now they also work together. It’s so HOT when he finally makes a move and kisses her. They have the BEST sex ever! Will they continue? They are so close and don’t want to ruin their friendship. Who’s been vandalizing her tattoo shop? Loved staying on edge. I also cried. Loved experiencing so many emotions. I highly recommend this book and can’t wait to read more.

Mace and Addi are best friends, but one night all was cast aside to give in to what they both wanted! Opening a business and trying to find out who is trying to get them out of town has been hell on Addi.
Mace has just went from part time dad to full time dad and his loving it! But one raining night Mace and Addi change there friendship, he knows he loves her and she loves him but it just king to take time a little worry to make it work! Loved it!

This was a perfect Montgomery Ink send off for one of the Montgomery clan. Adrienne Montgomery is opening shop and she's doing it with forever bestie Mace. I thought the cover art was fantastic for the description of Addi and Mace. Being a Montgomery, you know that there is going to be real down to earth problems and hot romance. Fallen Ink is no exception. I just loved the dynamics between Addi and Mace. It was a story well worth reading.

In this story Adrienne Montgomery and Mace Knight get their HEA! I enjoyed the story but after awhile I was just ready for them to get together in a relationship. I understand they didn't want to mess up their friendship, but their reasoning just seemed redundant. Finding out who was behind the problems at the shop was a little slow moving for me. Not my favorite of the series but still a good read.

I liked Adrienne and Mace's story. Adrienne is Shep's sister and the two of them have opened up branch of the Montgomery family tatoo business in another part of Colorado Springs. Adrienne's best friend, Mace, is also working with them. The two have been friends for years and have never been lovers, no matter what their families think.
All this changes one rainy night when Mace gives Adrienne a ride home and comes in to wait for the storm to pass. A different kind of storm takes hold and neither of them knows quite what to do afterwards. Mace has just gotten temporary custody of his small daughter and is trying to make a home for her. Someone is trashing the outside of their shop and siccing the health inspector and police on them. They have enough problems without complicating it with a sexual relationship.
I was enjoying the story until Mace stuck his head up his butt. Find out whether he gets it out in time to save his relationship with his best friend. Note: it is up there pretty far.
I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.

Brand new series from Carrie Ann Ryan. This is the first of Colorado Srings if you’ve ever read her Montgomery Ink you’ll be familiar with the characters in this one but regardless you don’t have to have read them. This is a complete stand alone and no other reading required.
This is Adrienne and Mace’s story. Adrienne has opened a new tattoo shop in Colorado Springs and her best friend Mace is working at the shop with her. They’ve been best friends forever and rely on each other for many things. They couldn’t imagine a world without the other.
Things begin to shift once problems begin to arise at the new shop and stressors start coming out of the wood works for both of them. They turn to each other for something to ground them to take away the stress and the heat and chemistry begins to build and becomes to much for them to withstand.
Overall well written, great flow, complete storyline. Another amazing story written by the author that makes you count the days until the next one. Highly recommend this to everyone.

This is the first book in the Montgomery ink spinoff of the Colorado Montgomery’s. I was so excited for the Montgomery world to continue. This is Addie and Maces story. Addies dreams are coming true and she is opening up a new tattoo shop with her family and doesn’t need anything to interfere with her plans. But what happens when she spends the night with her friend Mace and starts seeing him as more? Mace has his hands full dealing with his ex and raising his daughter, the last thing he needs is any more complications in his life. Will their feelings overcome their hesitancy? Can they overcome all the obstacles standing in their way of happily ever after? I loved this book and can’t wait for more Montgomery’s!

Addriene and Mace are best friends. They work together, eat together, take care of Mace's daughter together and they sleep together...wait, something is wrong there, isn't it? Yep. They've been best friends for a long time and never crossed the line into lovers until on rainy night lowers all inhibitions. But will they be able to recover their friendship or should they just move it into something more? I have to say the friends to lovers trope is probably my least favorite in the romance world. However, Carrie Ann pulls it off in a way that didn't make me want to pull my hair out. This story has a high steam level and the banter is laugh out loud funny at times.

This first book on Colorado Springs Montgomerys is just right. With the right amount of friendship, love, laughter and mistery. Adriene has opened up her tattoo shop. Her best friend Mace is as always by her side working at the shop. Feelings are developing while Mace goes through his own personal turmoil and Adriene’s shop is being targeted. They will have to choose between friendship and love. I love the Montgomerys, they are so many but so united as family. I enjoyed this book so much. Can’t wait for Thea’s story.

I really enjoyed this book. The only thing that kept me from not putting it down were there were some slow parts that made it easy to stop.
Adrienne and Mace are best friends to lovers. So it is a slow burn with one night changing everything between them. The chemistry between these two once they get together is scorching. Next, throw he becomes a full time single dad in the mix, and someone who wants to see Adrienne close shop and you end up with a book that I did not want to see end.
