Ashley comes home to find another woman in bed with her boyfriend. To top it all off he tells her it is her fault then he goes on to max out all her credit cards. Talk about hard luck Ashley is definitely not having a good time will she ever trust a man again. Tanner is a star quarter back who also has trust issues after a woman accused him of getting her pregnant trying to get him to marry her.
Having a rough morning Ashley is assigned to interview Tanner not wanting to do the interview she goes into it with her questions set and all is going well until she gets into his personal life about women which is off limits for Tanner. One word leads to another and everything goes south. Ashely is yelled at by her editor and told to fix things. She apologizes and heads to her car which of course chooses this time to quit. Feeling sorry for her Tanner makes her get into his car to take her home. They make peace and Tanner allows her to do the story minus his personal life. One thing leads to another and they get close. His best friend Melissa who I personally hate can't wait to meet Ashley although it gets into the way of her and Tanner's Friends with benefits relationship. Everything goes well until Ashley gets pregnant and Tanner accuses her of trying to trap him and things go south. Ashley and Tanner goes their separate ways with Ashley vowing never to see or have anything to do with Tanner. Things change when Ashley is involved in a car accident where she loses the baby and is in a coma.

This book is SMOKING HOT!!! Inhibitions addresses an issue that faces a lot of woman, how to break down their walls and build the courage to seize the sex life they desire. Ashley is a meek and somewhat broken character that needs coaxing and support to alleviate her repressive fears. She finds it in a dirty talking alpha type named Tanner. And does that boy have a mouth on him! The steamy love scenes in this book rival that of any other book I've read... and I've read A LOT! Once you pick up this book, you won't put it down!

I enjoyed some of this book, Tanner mostly. I liked Ashley coming into her own. It was really sweet to see their relationship develop. This one ends on a cliffy and I have an idea of how the next one will go. I deleted this off my kindle and will not be reading anymore

This is another one of those books when the author tries to capture the inner thoughts of the character even though the story is already written in POV form. The characters continuously question their own actions, and it makes the story juvenile. The characters are the typical ones you find in these stories...Alpha male, sexually submissive female that has an a-hole ex boyfriend that makes her doubt herself...the wild and crazy rich best friend fashionista bff/roomate that always knows just what to say and cusses like a sailor.

I read it very quickly, it's really ever basic and predictable. Ends on a cliffhanger, but I'm not buying the second book in the series.

Seriously another cliffhanger book?!?! I try to read books that are stand-alones even if they are in a series. I had no idea this one had a cliffhanger and the next book won't be out until "sometime" summer 2015. So if I were you I would wait until the next book comes out before reading this one!!!!

This is the debut of new author Kimberley Bracco.

Ashley is a journalist and is given the chance of a story to interview hot star quarterback Tanner. The interview ends badly but Tanner allows Ashely to redeem herself and so starts a connection that goes from strength to strength.

Ashley is insecure in her own skin due to the actions of a hook up in her youth and her cheating ex. This leads to a lot of angst that Tanner pledges to overcome and make Ashley see her true value.

There is plenty of steam and romance and will appeal to new adult read lovers. It was a little immature for my personal tastes and the storyline didn’t flow smoothly enough, with quite a few fillers and repeating of scenes but then again this is the author’s debut so I guess an allowance should be taken for this. The characters were likable especially Tanner and although the storyline was predictable to a point, it did keep me entertained and routing for the pairing. I will warn readers that this does end on a cliff-hanger which I wasn’t expecting, so no HEA or HFN but I believe the follow up is due out shortly.

Overall a nice and spicy read and a good debut. Three and a half stars

This is Kimberly Bracco's first novel and she did a great job. Inhibitions is a story about a journalist Ashley and a famous quarterback Tanner. Ashley is journalist who is struggling financial (her ex took all her money) and emotionally (blaming her lack of sexuality for his wandering ways). Tanner is portrayed by the media as a cocky, womanizing, playboy. Ashley and Tanner's first meeting takes place when she is assigned to interview him for the paper she works for. The interview starts off well and there is an instant chemistry between them but once the questions get personal, that lust Tanner feels for Ashley turns to hate. He storms out of the interview leaving Ashley to deal with the fall out. Since Ashley is out of luck, she finds herself stranded (dead car battery) in the parking lot of the football facility. Tanner, the last person who she thought would help her, demands to drive her home. Along the way, Ashley realizes that she is wrong about Tanner and sees him for the real man he is. Determined, Ashley wants to reveal the "REAL TANNER" and sets out to show the world in the article she writes about him. Both Tanner and Ashley have trust issues for different reasons, but Tanner is determined to break down Ashley's walls. Just when you think that nothing can break them, Ashley's insecurities come rushing back opening old wounds. A mistake that was not revealed also breaks Tanner's trust and he is left questioning if he really knows Ashley at all. We are left wondering what the future has in store for Ashley and Tanner. Can the walls that they once tore down come tumbling down again? I was left wanting more, and can't wait to see where the two broken souls will head in book 2.

I really liked the story to start with, but at around a third in it got way to immature for me. The main character went on and on about her previous experiences and her insecurities over and over,-totally redundant! Tanner's responses to them were really unrealistic too, for a girl he barely knows. At times she is really rude and even I wanted to tell her to take a hike.Towards the end it improved, once we got her self-pity and "dramafest" out of the way.

There are some real issues in punctuation throughout the book. There were a fair amount of grammatical errors and OMG, please learn about where commas belong!!! The comma issue was so bad I started making notes, but finally gave up at around the 50 percent mark. I am not a professional writer and if it were just a few I would never comment, but wow... There were even commas before "and."

Like I said, the story started to redeem itself towards the end, around the 85percent mark, then it ended in a "to be continued." I don't think I will likely read from this author again, not just for the writing errors, but I really didn't like her idea of a heroine. The sidekick Quinn was far more interesting than she was.

I really enjoyed this debut book. Ashley is a journalist who has the opportunity to interview the star quarterback for the Jets, Tanner. Prior to their meeting, Ashley already distrusts men because she caught her ex cheating on her and he said some hurtful things regarding her sexuality which has only fueled her insecurity. Without knowing Tanner firsthand, Ashley assumes he's like all the other guys out there and her assumptions cause the interview to go south quickly. Despite that, they do have an attraction to each other and Tanner sets the record straight about who he really is and Ashley realizes that he could be worth getting to know after all. What follows is the development of the relationship between Ashley and Tanner. I liked them both a lot. Ashley's past experiences have shaped her into being an agreeable and unopinionated person on the outside, not being able to voice her wants or desires, especially sexually, out of fear that she will come off as skanky or easy. What Ashley deals with isn't unusual for a lot of women, it is just unfortunate that she has been made to feel that way and can't completely own herself or let herself go. Otherwise, she's very independent and strong willed outside of her love life. Despite Tanner's celebrity status, he actually isn't a womanizer because he has to be careful with his reputation and his career. Tanner is a good guy all around, he comes from a loving family and enjoys interacting with children and fans. He doesn't trust people easily because people always want to use him for his status, but he lets Ashley in because of their undeniable chemistry. I loved that Tanner wouldn't let Ashley close herself off from him and always required them to openly communicate. He also helps her get closer to being that woman that she wants to be without any shame or embarrassment. They are pretty hot and sexy with each other, but like with any couple, there are obstacles that come up. Ashley is a little scarred and has some baggage, but as the story progresses, it's obvious that she isn't weak, particularly towards the end when a situation like that can really crumble a person and I am very interested to see more of that side of her in the next book. Ashley's issues with her inhibitions and Tanner's issues with trust make them very relatable and the question is if they can even have a future together if they can't overcome these roadblocks because Ashley wants to be enough for him and Tanner wants to be accepted by her for himself. Looking forward to the rest of their story already!

Inhibitions begins the story of Tanner and Ashley. Ashley, coming out of a nasty breakup, meets superstar NFL quarterback, Tanner, after being assigned to conduct an interview with him.
Ashley has been scarred by her ex. He blames her for his infidelity, citing her lack of creativity in the bedroom to be the cause. Although Ashley's always wanted to be more adventurous, she's never expressed those feelings to anyone.
Tanner's reputation labels him a playboy. But that is far from the truth. He's grown tired of being used for his fame and only has a small circle of friends that he trusts - one of those being a long time, no-strings-attached, friend with benefits.

Tanner and Ashley's first encounter does not end well, leaving Ashley more wounded and Tanner more guarded. But when Tanner finds Ashley, crying and extremely vulnerable, he's see a different side to her, one that he can't quite shake from his head.
This story had a lot of realistic, relatable elements to it - the main one being issues on trust. It allows you to witness Tanner and Ashley's struggles to open up and let go with one another. The first sentence sucks you in, and the rest takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions, then spits you out, leaving you desperate to know what happens next.

4 Smoking Hot Touchdown Scoring Stars

Ashley's life lately sucks. He live in boyfriend gets caught banging some bimbo, she tosses them out, but not before he berates her and blames her for being a prude and dead fish in the bed room.

Fast forward a few months and things don't get better, given a highly important interview for the paper she writes for, she alienates the guy who happens to be the starting QB of the NY Jets. Her boss is pissed, she lost her bf, her apt, what else could happen.

How about a crappy car that won't start! Enter the waterworks. But this is were things pick up. Tanner, the pissed off QB. He stops and offers to help and despite her refusals, does.

The both feel a pull to one another and after a couple of get togethers Tanner makes his feeling known about wanting explore their pull to one another.

Faced with jobs that make time to be together hard to schedule, her insecurities, his insecurities, the price of game and of course the green eyes of jealousy, we get led on a quirky. fast, HOT romance, that has a CLIFFHANGER ending that leaves both destroyed.

Highly recommend this to my romance reading friends.

Ashley has a hard time completely giving herself over to someone after she walked in on her boyfriend cheating on her (in their bed). She has trust issues and is insecure about herself. Tanner is a popular football player and can count on one hand the people he trusts. He has to have his guard always up to keep the gold diggers from finding a spot in his life. What happens when two people who have trust issues meet and have an immediate attraction? Inhibitions will be lost, but at what expense....

Ashley is VERY insecure about herself and her sexuality. She lives in her head a lot and lets something from the past hold her back. We do see her blossom as the story progresses. Tanner doesn't hold back with Ashley, but is very aware of her 'internal struggles'. He does everything he can break down her walls.. which I LOVE about him. He helps Ashley see how much he cares about her by his actions.

There is one part that was just... Wow!! There's a particular scene that involves sexting. Tanner is just your typical alpha male, who pulls shy Ashley out of her shell. So imagine what happens when Ashley finally lets her guard down.

This book does end in a cliffhanger, which I didn't mind. I was slightly disappointed in the ending. I won't give it away, but Tanner was knocked down a few pegs for me.

All in all, this was a great book from this newbie author. I can't wait to see Ashley and Tanner's story ends.

WOW... Where to begin? When we first meet Ashley, she is having the worst run of luck possible. She caught her boyfriend cheating on her (in her bed), he proceeds to blame her for it & she finds that he maxed out her credit cards without her knowledge. And things go downhill from there.

Then one day, she is informed by her boss that she has to cover an interview of a football player for one of her co-workers; the only problem? She has no clue about the sport. So she decides to google the player (Tanner), and finds a bunch of articles that say he is a player in more than the game of football.

The day of the interview couldn't possibly go any worse, and yet she finds that maybe the articles are crap and she possibly misjudged Tanner.

What comes next is a ROLLERCOASTER of a relationship. Tanner is the quintessential "book boyfriend"... I mean, he couldn't be more perfect. But one mistake and everything changes.

Things get real. Feelings get hurt. Assumptions are made.

What happens next?

Read and see....

This book has me COMPLETELY INVESTED, and I can't wait for the next in the series.

In all, I will say that this author is one to add to my automatic "one click" list considering how fast she has drawn me in. ESPECIALLY since this is her debut book.

MORE, PLEASE!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading his book.
Ashley Mitchell is a journalist. Thinking that she is living happily with her boyfriend, Jason, she is shocked when she discovers that he's been unfaithful to her. Fears and insecurities threaten to drown her as she tries to carry on with her life after his betrayal.
She lands a job that she usually wouldn't take; she is to interview a famous football player. Trying and failing to get out of it, she meets Tanner Garrison.
Tanner is a rich and powerful man who tries to stay away from complicated relationships. He is living his dream and when Mr. Mitchell shows up to interview him, he is surprised and pissed off by her attitude.
Getting to know her better after their awful first meeting, he realizes that Ashley is very worth of his time. There is an attraction between them and he wants to explore a possible relationship with her.
Will Ashley let go of her insecurities and pursuit something deeper with Tanner? You need to read and see.
The story ends in a terrible cliffhanger, but have no fear. Their adventures continue in the second book.
Great writing, fast-paced storyline and flawed characters. What more can you want?
5 Stars from me

I am so glad that I came across this book and author. I was not prepared for the awesome story and characters that Kimberly brings to life in her first foray into the literary world. She definitely lands with a bang with this awesome debut.

Ashley can’t catch a break. In recent months her life was swinging from one disappointment to another. It all started going downhill when she caught her boyfriend in bed with another woman. And if this is not humiliating and degrading enough, he so kindly let’s her know as the door is swinging shut that none of his cheating would have happened if she was more adventurous in the sack.

Tanner on the other hand appears to have it all. The star starting quarterback for the local NFL team he is portrayed as being a playboy. Fed up with all of the hangers on, he isolates himself only to those in his inner circle. He is determined to protect his image.

Forced to take an assignment that is way outside of her comfort zone, Ashley is thrown into the path of Tanner by having been nominated to conduct a rare interview with the quarterback. The attraction between the two of them is undeniable. That is until Ashley manages to botch up the entire interview and things go south. Down trodden, Ashley does not believe that it can possibly get any worse. Until it does. And of course Tanner is there is help her out.

Can the two of them work out their differences and move past their own insecurities to invest in a relationship that could change the both of them for the better? Can the explosive sexual chemistry between them be more than just lust?

I loved these two characters. The interaction between the two of them was explosive but it was more than that. Don’t get me wrong, the heat and steamy scenes between them were HOT and there were times where I felt that my kindle might self combust. But it was the growth of each of them and the discovery of their true inner selves that was what you invested in throughout the book.

Tanner is more than his dirty talking, dominant alphaness. Once he had Ashley he really listened to her insecurities and did everything in his power to help her move past them. He understood her hesitations and worked at every opportunity to show her what life is like when she moves past them. I don’t give away spoilers and when you read the book you will understand but there were times where I wanted to smack the ever loving crud out of Tanner – he really was a massive douche.

Ashley is totally relatable. Like many women, she is scared to voice what she really wants – to be more adventurous in the sack. She is plagued with the insecurities of what people will think of her if she voices her true desires. When she finally let’s Tanner in enough to say what she wants, there is no looking back for her. You can see how she fulfils her true inner self through the confidence gained by being with Tanner.

If I didn’t know before I picked up this book, I would not have guessed that this was a debut novel. Kimberly does an unreal job of investing you in Tanner and Ashley. She blends erotica and romance perfectly. I should warn you though, be careful not to trip on that cliffhanger. It left my jaw on the floor and my heart beating wildly. But don’t get discouraged, it is the work of an awesome author that has made you invest your feelings in the characters that makes it a doozy. I recommend this book to all lovers of smut, awesome characters and strong storylines. I can’t wait to read more from Kimberly and the conclusion to Tanner & Ashley’s story.

OMG!! I can’t believe this is a debut novel from Kimberly Bracco. Hours later my brain still will not shut off!!! For this being the author’s first book she did an amazing job. This story deals with somethings that I can seriously relate too. The author wrote about places that I have been to before in New York and New Jersey. I loved that I could actually place the areas. The story is very well-developed. It’s fast paced but it has everything that an avid book reader could want. A super-hot alpha star Quarterback, betrayal, drama and some smoking hot sex. When I say sex I mean some really hot erotic sex scenes that had my kindle melting. This story is told in alternate POV’s and let me tell you this, Tanner’s mind is one you will definitely want to get to know!

We meet Ashley Mitchell in the opening chapter. She is a lifestyle journalist for The City Press newspaper. Ashley has an assignment to interview NFL Quarterback Tanner Garrison, the infamous playboy. If all goes well this can be the kick her career needs. Ashley has been down on her luck struggling to make ends meet after catching her boyfriend Jason having sex with another woman in their home.

Ashley is a heroine that many women can relate too. She has not had the best experiences when it comes to men and fulfilling her sexual needs. She had a bad experience in college that’s made her closed off to her sexual desires. Especially after her ex-boyfriend claims his affair was because she was a prude in bed. So of course, Ashley has major self-esteem issues, has her walls up and is closed off to men now.

Tanner Garrison is not all what he portrays. God, I love him! He has agreed to the interview because his agent talked him into it. He hates interviews and does not like being in the spotlight. To make matters worse, the woman conducting the interview is late. For Tanner lateness shows a lack of respect for other people’s time. Tanner’s anger is immediately replaced when he sees the breathtakingly beautiful Ashley walking in the door.

As soon as Tanner and Ashley meet there is an instant connection a spark between the two. The relationship between to the two is intense but I loved how it was a gradual buildup. I loved the dialogue and the easy going relationship Tanner and Ashley had. I think the way they are able to open up to one another by expressing their fears, pasts and dreams made me fall in love with these characters even more. I really loved watching how Tanner was able to bring Ashley out of her shell and acknowledge that it is okay to explore and desire sex.

Can Tanner and Ashley truly let go of their painful pasts or will that self-doubt always linger? Will Ashley and Tanner come out on top after all he said and done? This is book 1 in a 2 part series. The second book Unrestricted is due to be release in the summer and I cannot wait to see what happens with the pair. I also loved meeting two side characters in this story, Quinn and Alex. I am seriously hoping we get a book about these two sometime.

3.5-4 stars. I won an ARC in exchange for an honest review of this book. Honestly, I really liked the story line here.

Ashley, a lifestyle columnist, who's down on her luck, get's a chance to interview Jets superstar quarterback, Tanner Garrison. It does not go well. Despite that there seems to be a connection between the two of them. Can Ashley get over her inhibitions and get out of her own head enough to let Tanner in? Can Tanner trust a woman without fearing she has an ulterior motive?

The best part of this story for me was how relate-able Ashley's situation/issues were. I think a lot of women will be able to relate to her. In our society if a woman knows what she wants and is aggressive about it she's a whore. If she's passive and submissive then she's deemed easy or a slut. It's a double edge sword and I'm glad it was addressed.

There are definitely some steamy scenes so this book doesn't lack on heat. There is a major cliffhanger here, so beware...not that that should EVER stop you from reading a book. I look forward to finding out what happens to Ashley and Tanner...can't wait actually.

***I was provided a copy for an honest review. Inhibitions has strong sexual content and words and should not be read by anyone under the age of 17.
Holy smokes! Looking for a new book boyfriend? I have found him in Kimberly Bracco’s Inhibitions. Tanner Garrison, cocky, hot-shot quarter back for the New York Jets who had refused all pre-season interviews had finally agreed to one. Unfortunately, the original interviewer’s wife goes into labor so Ashley, one of the Lifestyles writers is forced to go. Ashley has not been having very good luck lately. She walked caught her live-in boyfriend cheating on her in their apartment and has now moved in with her best-friend Quinn. Ashley is not looking forward to the interview in the first place but then it is 100 degrees out, her car’s AC doesn’t work, traffic was a witch, and she ends up being late to the interview. Tanner thinks Ashley is beautiful but then he gets upset when the interview changes direction when Ashley inquires about his personal life. Tanner become livid, ends the interview, complains to his guy, who in-turn calls Ashley’s boss; Ashley gets ripped a new one by her boss. Then to make things even worse, Ashley’s car won’t start. Even thought Tanner is upset, he can’t leave poor Ashley out in the heat with a car that won’t start. After Ashley promises to write a spectacular article, Tanner gives her permission. Ashley and Tanner meet again a month and a half later and their relationship takes off.
OMG…Tanner is one dirty-mouthed hottie! Tanner likes control in the bedroom and had a mouth for that pure sin comes out of. I loved this book. It has smoking hot scenes. Also, Tanner seems to bring out or make Ashley a better person. He worships her and thinks she hung the moon, which is nothing compared to the man she “loved” and lived with for two years. I also really liked Inhibitions because Tanner treated Ashley like the most precious woman in the world. Now, I say that and at one point, you might not agree with me but I have high expectations for Tanner as Inhibitions ends on somewhat of a cliff hanger with the second book due in the next couple of months.
I read Inhibitions over an evening. I was so affected by the book, I e-mailed Ms. Bracco because I thought it was such a phenomenal book. I am holding my breath for the second book to come out and to see what it brings.

This is a really good debut novel by Kimberly Bracco.

Ashley and Tanner begin a relationship after Ashley boggles an interview with Tanner. Tanner is a quarterback Ashley is scheduled to interview him even though she doesn’t normally do sports. During the interview Ashley allows her own personal experience with a dirty, low down ex to influence her feelings towards men especially Tanner.

The story grabs the reader quickly and then flows smoothly from one chapter to the next. We see the world of Ashley and Tanner through their eyes. The chapters alternate between Ashley then Tanner’s point of view. This is one of my personal favorite techniques because I don’t have to ask myself questions like “What the heck was s/he thinking to do that?”

Tanner and Ashley are realistic characters and, for the most part act like people in their age group. I like that through most of the story Tanner and Ashley deal with their issues head on. Yes there are rocky roads for them to travel but they both work together and work through their issues. Tanner is a great guy but he’s not perfect. His character is multidimensional and I’m still trying to figure him out.

I found myself a little confused sometimes with Ashley. She often appears to be a strong woman with her head on straight. She is a little shy and has some walls that keep her from getting close to people, specifically men. Ashley is the kind of heroine I like but then out of the blue she has these internal conversations where she questions herself in a negative way. I understand questioning decisions but her questions appear to be put downs. These little conversations with self makes me question who the real Ashley is.

Finally the story ends with me very conflicted with Tanner. In the last few chapters I really want to smack him upside the head. I realize now that this is the tool that will carry the story over to another book but I don’t like it. I’m disappointed that the connecting story arc turns Tanner from this great guy to a jerk.

The steamy, sexy scenes are very well written. It is never gratuitous. These scenes are always appropriate for the situation. I’m a fan of dirty talk during sex and Tanner knows how to talk dirty.

I like the book even though I’m not a fan of the cliffhanger especially when I don’t know when the next book is going to be released. According to Ms. Bracco’s website the next book is expected to release in the summer. I don’t know how she plans to make me care about Tanner again but I’m am anxiously waiting for the next installment to Tanner and Ashley’s story.

I loved this book and applaud the Author in taking a risk to join this wonderful world of books!!! I have a strong feeling that not only will this book take off but Kimberly Bracco will soon become well known.

Where to start?? Let me start by saying, I don't read books about Athletes'. Not that I have anything against them, it's not just my cup of tea. However, after winning an ARC of this book, I have just expanded my Goodreads list! Kimberly uses every descriptive word in the dictionary to suck her reader's in; the friendship that is shared in this book reminds me of me and my best friend, the love wrote about is every girls fantasy and the heartache is something I think we might all be able to relate to. It has been a while since I've found a book that describes the characters', the scenes are hot and steamy while still maintaining some class and leaving a little to the imagination and the story line is anything but dull.

**There are no spoilers, so feel free to read ahead**

After spending the last half of the year trying to get back on her feet, Ashley Mitchell is praying and hoping that she'll eventually catch a break. Being left heart broken and forced to move in with her best friend, she will do anything to just be on solid ground again. Doing her dream job writing for a local paper about what's hot and what's not, her boss approaches her with a once in a lifetime opportunity - cover for the sports writer and interview a hot shot NFL player, Tanner Garrison. There's only one problem, Ashely writes' about clubs, restaurants, boutique's - not football players'. Not being given much of choice, she sucks it up and decides to go through with the interview. Little did Ashley know, her whole world would be soon knocked of kilter. Everything she thought she knew about Tanner - courtesy of google and other newspaper articles - is soon thrown out the window.

Tanner Garrison is just an ordinary guy - loves his family, friends community but because he just happens to be one of the top NFL players, he is constantly portrayed as someone he's not. Constantly being bashed by the media, he is doing everything in his power to make sure he maintains control of his private life. Tanner's manager convinces him to do ONE pre-season interview despite how much he hates that all reporters' are the same - only interested in his personal life and not football at all. When Ashley walks into the conference room all flustered, Tanner soon looses all self control - in his mind. But Ashley does the one thing Tanner expected her to do and once again, her life is hanging by a thread.

What happens next is so unexpected, Ashley herself has a hard time believing it. The only problem, Ashley is extremely insecure. Will Tanner break down those walls? Will Ashley be able to show Tanner that not everyone is out to use him?

I know I said I wouldn't give any spoilers but I feel the need to let my fellow book lovers know, there is a cliff hanger that will leave you wanting more, saying WTH and suffering from a book hangover but you will most definitely not regret picking up this book, so add it to your list and get to reading!!

CALLING ALL ALPHA MALE LOVERS!!!!!

Have you ever read a book that left you with a stomach ache? Not the bad kind of stomach ache, but the kind when you crave the rest of the story. When you need to know what else will happen to each character. Well this was the book for me. I had the opportunity to read this book in return for a honest review and a honest review I will give you.

Lets start out with that this is the Kimberly Bracco's debut novel. What a hit! This story had it all; from the Star Quarterback with a huge heart and ego, to the shy and slightly damaged heroine. Oh and lets not forget TONS of panty melting sex. Some of the scenes between the two made me blush and I for one love a good graphic erotic sex scene. Maybe its was the dialog between the two that did it for me. I mean what girl doesn't like a guy to say dirty sexy things to them while doing the deed? I soon became a fan of Ms. Bracco's work from the second chapter.

Our story starts out with Ashley Mitchell, a twenty-something year old Lifestyle Journalist, who just 6 months ago caught her boyfriend with another woman. Being told that the affair was her fault because of her being a prude, Ashley dives into herself and puts up major walls when it comes to the opposite sex. What girl gives into her secret sexual desires? What would people think of her? However Ashley is reluctantly given a assignment to interview the NFL's most notorious Playboy Tanner Garrison. With doing plenty of research about Tanner, Ashley soon discovers that his Playboy ways and huge ego are nothing compared to the real person who rescues her at a time of need.

Tanner Garrison is only giving one interview before this season starts but with the reporter already being late his patience is running low. What he doesn't expect is for a brunette beauty to walk in the room and conduct a great interview. All her questions are to the point and totally related to his career. Not like the usual reporters who constantly ask about his personal life. With the interview almost over his brown haired beauty does the unthinkable. She asks about his wild playboy ways. Well Tanner knows how to handle this and he is planning on shutting it down. The one thing he didn't realize was that shortly after he put a monkey wrench in Ashley's interview he would have to become her savior in more ways than one.

There was instant attraction between Ashley and Tanner. One where each will lay out their secrets and desires. Relationships will be tested and truths will be told. But what will happen when a small accident tears this couple apart?

I can't wait for the book two that is suppose to come out this summer. It left us at at place where we need answers and we need them now! How does Tanner deal with the bombshell Ashley drops on him? How does Ashley cope with the unsuspected news of her latest predicament? Can this couple survive? Please Ms. Bracco give us more of these two!!!!!

One side note: The only thing negative I have to say about this book was that it contained a few grammatical errors but being that I was totally engrossed in the story I didn't mind.

Wow.... It's 12:47am... And I just finished reading this book. I have all these things swirling around in my head right now. I'm kind of shocked on how the book ended. And the reaction of Tanner at the very end of this book.
I couldn't even fall asleep right away because I kept playing what I just read in my head!...lol

For being this author first book... I think she did a good job. There were however a couple things that I didn't care for.
But... I overlooked them. Because I was truly invested in the story.

I think the synopsis pretty much says what the books is about. So....I'm just going to dive right into my review.
This book was a good read. It sucked me in. I was fully invested in the main characters.
I loved how things didn't drag on through out the book. If something happened. It was dealt with right away. So there wasn't any misunderstandings.
And... that's what I love In a book! I HATE when a simple misunderstanding gets blown out of proportion.

But what did get kind of get thrown out of proportion was Ashley not being able to fully own her sexuality. She let something that happened to her in college. Set the tone for her life. That was a little out there. I didn't feel it was that big of a deal to dwell on. Considering no one knew it was her.

The internal thinking from Ashley was starting to get to me. She would say one thing.... Then have this whole conversation with herself in her mind! Or Tanner would ask her something... Then once again... We get this whole conversation with herself of why she shouldn't answer the question.

There is a fine line when it comes to internal thinking. It needs to be here and there... Not after everything the main character says!
(It's one of my pet peeves and seriously kills the flow of the book for me.)

I liked how Ashley stood up for herself. She did use her voice.
But...She was constantly putting herself down. And that was getting pretty old too. It was just to much.

Both Tanner and Ashley had some relationship issues right from the beginning.
But, Tanner really went out of his way to make Ashley his and to break down her walls. I loved how he didn't give up.
I loved how he brought out the best in Ashley. He truly made her feel comfortable with her sexuality.
He really wanted her to let go and let her freak flag out!...lol
And I just loved all his dirty talk!!! That was seriously hot!!

Tanner...Tanner...Tanner...lol

I really was feeling Tanner....
Up until that little session he had with Melissa... In the beginning of the book. That kind of put a damper on me! I just HATE it when the main character in a book does that! It's hard for me to look past when he finally gets with the girl main character.... Which in this story is Ashley.

I know Tanner has had a bad boy past and all... But I just don't like it when the MC goes with another girl. Puts me off to him.
Which kind of sucks for me... Because I was really feeling him up until that point.
And... I really didn't like the way he talked to Ashley. In certain parts of the book. And then towards the end of the book.
I really wasn't feeling him.... At all!! Everything he said was pretty unforgivable in my book.
(The second book in this series will be hard to read... Because... Ashley would really have to look past everything Tanner said in this book! I know I would NEVER forgive that... Personally, I don't know how she would or could look past all that.)

Overall... I liked this book. I would tell other people about it. And I'm really looking forward to reading the second book in this series.
(I just hope it doesn't end in a cliffhanger. I probably wouldn't have read this book right away....had I known it ended in a cliffhanger. I would have waited until all the books in this series were out. So, I can read straight through. Because... I hate to wait for the next book in a series.
But, I won this book from the author. And she asked me if I could read this book before the release date.)

Don't get me wrong.. I'm glad I read it. But, I hate cliffhangers. I think that should be disclosed in the synopsis. It just lets me know what I'm getting myself into when picking a book to read.

What a great debut novel!! I seriously stayed up way past my bedtime to finish this. I could not put it down!!! I’m going to warn you, this ends in a jaw dropping cliffhanger. I mean I literally had my mouth hanging open when I finished. Whether you decide to read this now or wait until the next book comes out, you will definitely not be disappointed!!

Ashley is a journalist trying to work her way up in the journalism world. Her ex-boyfriend put her into a huge amount of debt when they broke up and forced her to have to leave her apartment and move in with her best friend.

When she gets the opportunity to interview star NFL quarterback, Tanner, she isn’t exactly thrilled since she doesn’t know anything about football. When she gets to the interview and introduces herself, there is an obvious chemistry between the two.

“The second our fingers touch, my whole body comes alive.” ~Tanner

Despite their immediate attraction to each other, the interview takes a bad turn when she decides to go on her assumptions of his character. Ashley starts delving into his personal life which he keeps very private, and Tanner walks out. Ashley is devastated.

“I didn’t just f*** this up for me but for the paper as well.” ~Ashley

When she gets a second chance the at the interview, of course she takes it and that is the start of her rollercoaster romance with Tanner. Tanner and Ashley both have some issues and insecurities, among other things, that add to the drama of their relationship. Everything seemed to be going well for the two until one little mistake, that happened early in the relationship, was revealed then everything goes to hell after that. Can they get back on the right track or is the damage done and will they just move on from each other?

I CANNOT WAIT for the second book!!! I seriously thought about this book the next morning when I woke up and went back to read the ending again. Still in shock! I just have to know what’s going to happen!!!

Kimberly did an amazing job with this debut! I loved the writing and the character development was great. And boy was this book hot!! Tanner has a deliciously dirty mouth! I know how a lot of people hate cliffhangers, but I love how this book ended. It makes me so excited that more’s coming!! I highly recommend this novel!!! One click now!!

Ok so WOW! This book is crazy good!
Ashley has not had the best luck lately and she has to interview Tanner Garrison; the star quarterback for the Jets. Worst part is she has no desire to do this because she isn't a sports fan. She tries to get out of it and can't. So here she is interviewing the man who hates to be interviewed. She let her curiosity get the better of her and she asked questions about his social life and not his professional life.
Tanner is livid he has no desire to do this interview but he reluctantly agrees and this girl has no idea about the game, she only wants to know about his personal life. He goes off the deep end and wants noting more than to end this interview and get this girl fired.
Ashley is so upset she gets to her car and it won't start... the last person she wants to see is of course the only one that comes to her rescue Tanner....
Tanner cant stand to see someone cry and he cant explain this attraction he has to Ashley. He never lets girls into his life his career is more important than dealing with crazy fans...
Through a series of events Ashley's interview is awesome and shoots her career into the direction she has always dreamed of not to mention it helps Tanners image as well.
Ashley has a lot of emotional issues that she is slowly working on but she cant help the attraction she feels when it comes to Tanner she cant stay away from him. He makes her feel better about herself and happy something she hasn't felt in a long time.
Tanner cant stay away from Ashley either she makes him feel happy and want more than a casual relationship.
This book takes you through and emotional roller coaster as Ashley learns to love herself and trust again. She is very guarded and stand offish. She wants to do everything by herself because she doesn't want to be needy. She is learning the difference between needy and needed.
The ending makes me want to start the next book immediately...
This is my first book by Kimberly Bracco and it will not be the last. The book was well written she shows a lot of different emotions for a debut novel. I gave it 5 stars because its a great story and it ends making you want more. I can't wait to start the next one!

Meet Ashley Mitchell.
Sweet and beautiful.
Is a journalist for the local paper.
Asked by her boss to interview a hot-shot quarterback for the New York Jets.
She couldn’t think of anything worse.
She’s dreading it.
Football and playboys are so not her thing.
But this could mean her job.
Reluctantly Ashley knows she has to do this.
Just once.
Just one interview.

Meet Tanner Garrison.
Quarterback for the New York Jets.
He hates interviews.
He hates the way the media portrays him.
He’s not a player.
He’s not a womanizer.
He wants this interview done.
He wants to put it behind him.

That’s when Ashley and Tanner’s world collide.

The attraction is instant.
They can both feel the chemistry.
They crave it.

But can anything become of Ashley and Tanner?
Why is Ashley holding back?
What scars does she carry that keep her guarded?
What are her secrets?
Can Ashley ever let go?

And Tanner.
How can he break down Ashley’s barriers?
How can he get her to trust him?
How can he open her heart?

Inhibitions is nothing short of brilliant. Reading from beginning to end we couldn’t put it down.

It’s raw, its confronting and at times a little dark. We laughed and we cried. And the sex? Ohh god…It’s gritty, it’s raw, it’s dirty, it’s hot…..Damn hot!

And the ending?
Cliffhanger plus!!

You will definitely not be disappointed.

We recommend everyone to place this on their TBR list.
For us a definite 5 star read.

“Tanner’s like a hurricane. He comes in full force, demanding to know all the thoughts in my head.”
~ Ashley

Ashley has had a few events happen to her that have shaped how she sees herself and how she feels about intimacy and sex. There are certain things that happen in a young impressionable girl’s life that can make her blossom into who she is meant to be or can cause her to hide her true self away. Ashley decided to hide her true self and deny the part of her that she thought would be most freeing. As a result she settles for someone she thinks is right for her, locking away that piece of her. When her circumstances change and she meets Tanner she starts to learn that what she thought was something bad can actually be something great.

Tanner is the league’s hottest quarterback and someone who doesn’t let people close to him. He has learned that lesson the hard way. A fun college experience led to an almost incident. Now he keeps only a few in his inner circle and doesn’t let the public in on his personal life.

A twist of fate has Ashley and Tanner meeting. A chance encounter on another day has them starting an unlikely relationship. A relationship that has Ashley re thinking everything she thought of herself and has Tanner testing his patience.

These characters were so great together and I loved how they grew together in their own ways. Each had lessons to learn that they other taught them. The secondary characters were great! Quinn and Alex are awesome when in the same room together. Their chemistry is just as hot as Tanner and Ashley’s.

Wow.

Just Wow.

Inhibitions is one of the most wow books I have read.

Not because the story is so original or even complicated, and such. It’s real. It’s simple. And it is amazing.

It is a book every woman should read!! Because Ashley is one of us. She’s a woman who has been hurt and betrayed. She’s a woman who tries her best every single day. She’s a woman who wants to be loved. And she’s one strong woman, who can take anything on.

Ashley is such a good and strong woman. She is really awe-inspiring!!

I loved reading about Ashley!!

I LOVED both POVs!! Ashley was so real and Tanner so ideal!! Both POVs gave something different to the book, making it even more incredible than it already is.

Tanner is such a good leading character!! He’s dynamic, sexy, good and successful. And more than anything else, he takes care of our girl. He makes her happy, which is what we all want!!

Needless to say that I loved everything about this book!!

It is one of my favorites and I can’t wait to re-read it!!

I just cannot wait for the next book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, Inhibitions receives More Than 5 Stars, because it managed to stay in my heart mainly due to Ashley’s truth.

NOTE
I really wish authors start saying if the book is a stand-alone or not, because even though you like the book and the series, you want to know if the story will conclude in this book or the next one.

What a wonderful story Kimberly has written. Ashley, who thanks to a double standard in society, is full of doubt and Inhinbitions. On top of the doubts, she is haunted by a cheating ex, and cruel memories. This is definitely a story that as a woman I could connect with the Heroine in.
Tanner is a larger than life, sexy as hell "Superstar". Tanner has also been burned. And as much as he hates interviews and public spotlights, he agrees to finally give an interview to a local paper. Not only is she late, but shes a mess. Had he made a mistake in agreeing to this? Then it happened, the minute he touched he he felt the current.
Can these 2 move past all the old pains, and betrayals?
Ashley is no where near over a horrible break up, that involved walking in on her boyfriend of 2 years having sex with another woman in THEIR Apt. After some not so nice words, he leaves. Then Ashley finds he has also run her into the ground in Credit Card debt.
Tanner cant be happier that is Quarterbacking in his home state. NY has always held a special place in his heart. Tanner is very wary about getting into any kind of relationship. After that bitch tried to trap him he stays away from the women as much as possible.
WARNING... This book is a major cliffhanger. As in the kind where the story is not finished.

I want to say that I loved this book. I really believe that this book could be a movie on the Lifetime channel and yes I would totally watch it too. I mean I was biting all my damn nails off while reading this book...There is an intense part but that is all I am willing to say.
Ashley has had her heart broken by every boyfriend that she has even had and naturally they always seem to blame her. Which that is a total tool for you...yes I used the word tool ;) Tanner is a pro football player that is so sick of woman wanting him only to use him for his incredible... you know and his money. He is a super sweet, loving, family guy who wants to be loved for him just like the next person.
So one day Tanner finally decided to do an interview for the paper and Ashley is the lucky journalist that gets to do the interview... BUT let me tell you that when you are reading this part of the book, I promise you that you will love it and not want to put it down.
OMG and then the ending will blow your mind!!! All I can say is Lifetime Channel, please pick up and read this book and make it a movie for me! Pretty Please....
Kimberly Bracco you had me hook line and sinker!! I also am really needing Tanner in my life right about now. Bravo with this amazing book and I can't wait for book two....All I can say is HOLY Mother-loving cliffhanger!!

Ashley is a journalist assigned to cover a colleague's interview for star quarterback Tanner Garrison. She's nervous beings she knows nothing about football. She took the time to do online research about him and what she discovered made her think of her horrible ex. Those impressions made the whole interview crumble.

They start to work past the bad experience and start to get to know each other. They can't deny the strong pull between them. He usually has no desire for relationships and she's still recovering from her last. Tanner begins breaking down her walls and they give into their desires. When something unexpected happens, their growing love may not last.

Cliffhanger! I'm so glad the second book is out and I will be reading it next. I absolutely love this story. Kimberly does an amazing job pulling you in with her magical words and making you totally forget reality. It didn't have that typical romance feel which I like since there are so many romances that are a lot alike. The ending broke me though. Time to find out what happens next! I recommend this for sure!

I am going to start off by saying the ending was mean as hell, like really mean. The things an author does to me. Summer really? OMG! Now that that’s out of the way.

I loved this book! Really, really loved it!

Ashley is insecure about herself, after her break up with her boyfriend Jason. He cheated on her and basically blamed her for his wandering ways. Can we please say douche bag.

Tanner is the star quarter back for the Jets and he feels that people only want him so that they can use him. Until he meets Ashley. Then all bets are off.

Their relationship is fast, but sweet. Tanner doesn’t bs around in letting Ashley know that he wants her. They start to see each other and everything clicks together for them.

I loved Ashley’s spunky attitude and the way she just went with the flow, though at one time I thought she totally overreacted at being teased, but I didn’t stay with me that long. I wish there would have been more parts coming from Tanners POV, but it was all good.

Quinn and Alex as supporting characters was amazing! I hope after Tanner and Ashley’s story they get their own.

Now I have to wait until they summer time to know what will happen next. It better be June, because July and August is unacceptable!

This book was absolutely wonderful! I got sucked in right away. I loved how the book did not drag on at all. I never felt I was dragging through mud trying to get to a more interesting part. I also really liked how this book wasn't a cookie cutter meet, fall in love, get married type book.
Inhibitions was raw, real and a book I was able to connect with on a deeper level.
Everyone has insecurities even if we try to hide them. We have problems that we need to deal with, sometimes on our own and sometimes with the help of others.
Ashley's character development throughout this book was amazing. She became such a strong woman and I was very happy for her.
Kimberly Bracco's debut novel was an easy five stars and I'm so happy I was able to read an ARC of this book. Definitely take the chance to read this book, you won't regret it.

Holy S***! I can't believe I'm reading an author's debut work. This story was AMAZING. I couldn't put it down. I loved the story. I loved that Tanner, while famous, wasn't a conceited ass. I love Ashley's trepidation in meeting him and then her tenacity in dealing with him. I loved how their story progressed at a natural rate. I wanted to kick Melissa's ass, and I wanted to BE Quinn. I know I'm gushing like a hardcore fan girl, but I have to say this book really threw me for a loop (in a good way) and got me out a reading rut. Now of course not everything can be easy and as a couple they had a few pitfalls to overcome. I was NOT expecting the ending of this book. It left me FURIOUS! I can't tell you how much I wanted to do bodily harm to someone when I read it. I'm not sure if I was mad at Ms. Bracco because of the way it ended, the characters (which are real in my mind) or just the situation. I have to tell you, it hit WAY to close to home. I AM so ready for the second book, luckily for me I didn't discover these books until I already had the second one, otherwise I might have gone just a little nuts!

Kimberly's first debut novel was a great read! One of the main characters Ashley you can't help but relate to her. SHE is really insecure about herself and her sexual wants because of past sexual experiences, they have made her think the way she is is wrong. She constantly thinks everyone judges her, which gets in the way of her letting completely go. Tanner is a sexy star football player, an alpha in the bed but a heart any woman would swoon over. Tanner doesn't hold back. What he wants is what what he puts his all into, that's Ashley. Seems like he is always running into this wall that she has built around her. There relationship seems very fast and hard hitting. Tanner helps Ashley slowly break down these walls by not only telling her but showing her there is nothing wrong with her. She is sexy and he wouldn't change her and he rather enjoys her sexuality. I will warn you dang Tanner can dirty talk!!!
Quinn and Alex as supporting characters and Flove there chemistry and sass. HINT hint I think they need their own book!

Hot ~Sweet ~Bold~ Trust
We meet Ashley after she has caught her boyfriend Jason cheating on her. Jason said some very hurtful things to Ashley that only fuel her self-doubt. Life for Tanner isn’t easing, being in demand, stories are spun and everyone wants something from you.
Ashley Mitchell is a life and style journalist for The City Times. She is asked to help co-worker out and cover an article on Tanner Garrison Quarterback for the New York Jets. There is definite connection between the two. Ashley is able to see the “real Tanner” not the media portrayed version. Tanner has the ability to drawing Ashley out of her shell. When that happens the chemistry between them is explosive. The question is: How do you build a relationship in the spotlight when you both have trust issues?
I didn’t want to put this book down. The sex scenes are steamy. You will fall in love with Tanners dirty mouth. I loved watching Ashley grow more confident. I need to know how their story is to ends. Now I must sit and wait for Unrestricted, releasing spring 2015.

Why did I wait so long to read this book? Wow the chemistry between Tanner and Ashley is HOT right from their first meeting when she is interviewing him for an article. Ashley goes into the meeting with a preconceived idea of who the media has made Tanner out to be. She quickly learns he is nothing like he is portrayed in public. Tanner wants no part of this interview but is immediately captivated by Ashley. Can't say I hate reading about a hot athlete with an equally hot personality to match. Not sure how I feel about Ashley towards the end of this book. She makes some questionable decisions that have me wondering if she lacks common sense or is so completely in her own head that she wouldn't think to discuss this with her boyfriend or her BFF. I guess I'll see in book 2.

Could not put this book down! Cannot wait for the next book to see how Tanner and Ashley's story ends!!

This was wonderfully well-written. The characters were developed well, the plot was fast-paced, and the romantic scenes were intense. This is a strong debut novel, and I am sure this author will go on to incredible success.

My word, that ending was brutal. It took all of the positive feelings built up during the book and squashed them. Flat. I went from liking a character (well, mostly liking him) to intensely disliking him. Passionately. For me, he transformed from a mostly-likeable character (with the exception of his continued friendship with Melissa)...to...wow. I am anti-Tanner. (love Ashley though! #TeamAshley!)

I think when we read books, we bring a lot of our personal experiences to the table...and these can color our reaction to what we read. That may well have been the case here. The betrayal at the end struck a chord. However, I think it has to be said...it takes a true talent to bring out that visceral reaction in readers.

Will I read Book 2? Absolutely...but Tanner will have to step up his game in order to win back this reader's heart.

After a mishap with the interview, Ashley and Tanner end up spending some time together and decide to explore the undeniable spark between them.

The chemistry between Ashley and Tanner is sizzling and the sex is even hotter. I loved how Tanner helped Ashley start to overcome some things from her past and be her real self. I wasn't prepared for the crazy cliffhanger though. Thankfully, I don't have to wait for book two to see what happens next.

I was lucky enough to get the chance to read this before it debuted, and wow! This was an amazing debut for Kimberly Bracco. I read the entire thing in one sitting and was dying for more by the last page. I loved the story line and the alpha sexy goodness of Tanner. This story was realistic, and I think that's what made me love it so much. Ashley was very easy to relate to and the things she went through are things that I think ever girl struggles with. The blurb for this book pulled me in instantly. I love stories about athletes and this story about Tanner Garrison, quarterback for the NY Jets, was great! Sweet Ashley doesn't know what's she in for when she goes to interview QB Tanner. His good looks, charming personality & getting to know "the man" behind the superstar persona hooks Ashley immediately. There were lots of ups and downs due to her prior history with guys...but she soon learns that you can't judge all guys the same way.

Definitely lots of hot & steamy in this book!

The ending definitely has me wanting more & I'm looking forward to book #2 from this author!

Hook line and sinker you got me stuck! I could not put this book down. The chemistry, passion, personal issues, and realness of the story was all completely believable. The only thing I was surprised didn't happen was the press to tear her apart for being the "other woman" since everyone was convinced he was dating Melissa. As silly as her insecurities may have seemed to some people I feel it was great for the story line. In my opinion up until 50 Shades became famous rougher/kinky sex was something some people were afraid to admit they liked because of what others would think/say. Good message on how people should feel comfortable expressing their wants and desires no matter what.

Let me start saying (again) I love finding new authors. I love seeing where authors start and if I can watch their writing styles grow. I started this book not really liking Tanner to loving him. HE'S PERFECT!!! then I'm left hating him again. Tanner had some HUGE sucking up to do. I really like Ashley, not the strongest she does show her backbone and I have a feeling we will see more of it.
The way INHIBITIONS ended just left my heart hurting (yea even for Tanner) I will for sure read the next book, I will probably stalk her author page to count down the days for the next book. Thats how much I enjoyed it.

Inhibititions By Kimberly Bracco
I loved this book. It was a sweet love story with the whole boy meets girl scene. Neither one does one night stands but what about two nights to three? Yeah. That’s doable right?
One problem with that Ashley grew up with a mom that wasn’t supportive and her ex-boyfriend called her a prude.
And Tanner? Everyone wants something from him. Money, fame, or sex. Can he trust Ashley?
The writing is good. The descriptions are in depth and give dimension to the story. I would read more from Kimberly. Great first book. Congrats.

I won a copy of this book and I am so glad I did. I loved the story line and the characters. I did not want to put this book down when it was time to go to bed. I must admit that had I started this on a Friday or Saturday night, I would not have! I would have read straight through.

The story flowed seamlessly and the characters were well developed. I am glad that I do not have to wait very long to see what happens with Ashley and Tanner. I can definitely see a book for Alex and Quinn. Maybe even for Melissa? Although she is not a favorite.

I started this one after finishing the other series. I love this author and knew that this would be just as amazing as the other two that i read. I was not disappointed at all. Tanner omg holy hell batman not only is he a hot football player but can you say perfect gentlemen for the most part. Easy to fall for that man. I love this story and these two characters and the chemistry that they have from the beginning.

Pros: I liked the NY Jets, NY (specifically, Staten Island), & NJ references. I'm from Staten Island and I went to college in NJ. I appreciated the football references. I liked Tanner and his patience with Ashley.

Cons: Can a book have too much sex? I could've used a little more non-sexy time thrown in there. Ashley was weaker than I'd like, but I appreciated how she handled herself at the end. Unfortunately, I didn't realize there was a cliffhanger. Some minor editing issues, but nothing major or overly distracting.

A young reporter is sent to interview the NFL hometown quarterback and sparks fly. Can past hurts be healed by new love or will new slights only intensify those past hurts? Great story about learning, growing and becoming a couple.

"An excellent story of two people with unsettled backgrounds who meet, fall in love and then discover a situation that tears them apart again. I loved the story up until the end of Book One. I have to read the whole series to see if they can resolve their issues and become lovers again. I have faith that they will."

Wow, what a great debut novel! I couldn't put it down. I thought the story moved along flawlessly. The characters were well developed and the sex scenes - HOT! Loved that Tanner and Ashley were willing to work through their issues together. In the end, though, not all were resolved. Looking forward to the next book in the series to see what happens next with Tanner and Ashley. It can't come out soon enough for me. Kimberly Bracco has now become one of my automatic one clicks! Oh, and would love to see Quinn and Alex get their own story told, just saying!

I received this ARC for an honest review.

I loved this story. The story begins with Ashley having a day where nothing goes right and is late to interview Tanner, the quarterback for the Jets. Throughout the story we get to see their relationship grow, as they try to overcome their past issues with trust. The story ends as their trust in each other is tested and we are left wondering what will happen. I cannot wait to see what happens next.

I loved this book, the story flowed really well, there was just enough description to help you picture the scene, but not too much which was great, the characters all came to life, you really get to know the main leads, and there is enough there to hope for a spin off for the other characters.

Looking forward to starting book two

A debut novel for Kimberly Bracco and I think she did a wonderful job. I dived right into this book and found myself completely invested in the lives of Tanner and Ashley. I could not put it down and finished it around 12:30 am only to have to grab the second book to find out what happens. Overall a very pleasant start of summer read.

This book has brought me a roller coaster of emotions: swoon-worthy Tanner and his take-charge personality, romantic and fun dates, heart breaks, annoying friends and unexpected curve balls. I loved it!!! And to think this is just a debut story!
