Great insight into the psych of people with addictions. Makes one realise that it is so easy to slip into a similar state of mind, how to get above it all was very entertaining. Crisply written with clear message wrapped in comfortable humour.

I loved this book - a fantastic holiday read with a bit of everything. Marian Keyes tackles the very serious issue of substance abuse with good humour and endless entertainment. I couldn't put it down and highly recommend it.

I thought I would read another not unpleasant chicklit copy. I was surprised to find interesting the introspection into an over cuckoo's nest world, depicting in a mocking like style all the serious problems that overly stressed people are facing today. Definitely not a putdownable.
Last Chance Saloon :: Modern Lovers :: The Burning Girl :: Flight (The Crescent Chronicles Book 1) :: Member of the Family: Manson, Murder and Me

This is a must read. Very light hearted and enjoyable style of reading. Relatable characters and great plot. I think this is one of Marian keys best books. I am a huge fan of her books but seemed to connect with this one the best. It did help that I was on holiday when I read it. It gave the book more meaning.

This book had a very realistic feel to the story, very believable. I felt I gained a better understanding of the journey to and from adiction. While being quite educational, this book was still entertaining. well researched and well written.

This is the funniest book I can remember reading, I laughed out loud through the whole thing, have read Marian Keyes before and this is her best so far. Can't wait to read about the rest of the Walsh sisters!

I was looking for a lighthearted read, but was surprised to find that this book had a serious side to it and in no time I became intrigued with the story line and what the outcome would eventually be.

Couldn't last past 1st chapter! Found it ditzy,, no real story. If a novel hasn't got me in during the first few pages, it's not worth it. This was one such novel. Unimpressed. Won't be searching out this authors work.

I ordered a used book rated in good condition. It arrived very quickly, which made me very happy, but the book was in bad shape. The description for very good says minimal wear and guarantees a dust jacket. The book I recieved had no jacket, and the cover is warped and dirty, with crushed corners. Definitely not very good. When I contacted the seller I was offered half of my money back. OK, I admit I only paid a penny plus four dollars shipping, which maybe this book is worth, but it was very misrepresented.

I thought this book was awful. An unbelievable story that jumped around all over the place - unreal characters and situations. It lacked coherence and meaning. I read about 4 chapters and gave up. It seemed like the author didnt have a clue where it was going and it showed - sorry but that is my honest opinion.
