Lovers Like Us is the second book of ‘Marrow’ also known as Maximoff Hale and Farrow Keene. Although this couple is out to Moffy’s family and their closest friends, the world doesn’t know about their relationship. It’s not that they’re ashamed or anything like that, it’s that they both want Farrow to remain Moffy’s bodyguard and the only way he can truly protect him is if the world doesn't know.
Due to some vicious rumors about Moffy and Jane, Moffy and several of his cousins decide to go on tour and get the attention elsewhere. It’s going to be a long tour with all the bodyguards as well. On a bus. For months.
This book was SO MUCH FUN! I seriously laughed and smiled so much! There were a lot of sweet and light moments. It wasn’t all laughs though, there are serious things going on as well. I loved that it had a little bit of everything. Moffy and Farrow are still hot as ever. I love the connection they share. Their back and forth banter is fantastic as always. I can’t get enough of this couple!
What I really loved about this book is the fact that we didn't just get Moffy and Farrow- we got a lot more of the cousins and other bodyguards as well! There are SO MANY future books I want from this gang and so many couples I ship! Krista and Becca- PLEASE keep writing these stories!!! These characters are so near and dear to my heart. Especially the HALES! #TeamHale. I love the relationships that these three (Hales, Cobalts, Meadows) have with each other, and even with the guards who are a lot like family.
The Ritchie twins can do no wrong in my eyes. Their writing is always brilliant, and I’m completely in love with the characters they write and the stories they tell! I definitely recommend these books to all!

Every now and then a series comes along and completely sucks you in and doesn't let you go. I found this feeling when I first read the Addicted series and now I have once again been left utterly captivated by the next generation in the Like Us series.
Every page left me wanting more, the story is told in such detail that you can't help but feel like you are part of thier crazy world. We are drawn back into the celebrity life of Maximoff Hale, who is trying to keep his relationship with his bodyguard Farrow Keane a secret from the paparazzi. At the same time travel on a tour bus with his closest in age cousins to promote their charity and raise funds for their non-profit.
I can't explain how much I love every character in this series, every bodyguard and every HMC as they are each a force to be reckoned with. Ultimately, this is an amazing series about love!

The continuing story of Moffy and Farrow was wonderful. I could only give 4 stars because I felt like the relationship between Charlie and Moffy was left hanging after Charlie attempted to explain his feelings toward Moffy on the plane ride to meet with the board. I felt we the readers should have been privy to some of the interchange between Charlie and Moffy at the Board meeting, or a little more explanation of the cousins relationship following their supposed show of unity at the board (we can only guess what may have taken place). I wanted more of Charlie in Maximoff's life!! Even if the next book expands on their developing relationship, it would have been nice, in my humble opinion, to include more in this book.

Lovers Like Us was more enjoyable than Damaged Like Us, so there's that. I still have issues shipping Moffy and Farrow. *shrugs* Maybe it's because I'm not a very big fan of Farrow. His "confidence" (read: conceit) isn't sexy. It's a little too much. Okay, it's a lot too much. :( And, if I'm being honest, I'm still not the biggest fan of Moffy either.
The next book, Alphas Like Us, will be continuing the Moffy/Farrow narrative. I'll read it to keep up with the story, but I'm really (REALLY) looking forward to moving on to another couple. I'm throwing my vote out there for Jane (or Luna... or Charlie).

After the big bombshell in Damaged Like Us, I was wondering where Lovers Like Us would go. I knew we would get lots of Moffy and Farrow time, but I wasn't sure how their relationship was going to change things between the Hale - Colbalt - Meadows clan. I also wasn't sure how they were going to be able to keep their relationship a secret from the media. Lovers Like Us answered all of the questions I had. It also made me an even bigger fan of Moffy and Farrow's relationship.
Moffy has always seemed mature for his age, but he truly grew up in this book. I felt like he gained a deeper understanding of his siblings' and cousins' feelings. He also grew to understand Farrow better. I liked how he handled all the situations thrown his way.
Farrow was strong and steady. He was good at being himself. I liked that he didn't back down from a fight or give into anything that would compromise his beliefs.
My favorite thing about Lovers Like Us was that it showed a real progression in Moffy and Farrow's relationship. I got to see some ups and some downs, and how their relationship only grew stronger because of them. I was sad when the book ended because I loved where things were for them, and didn't want to wait to find out what comes next.
I can't end this review without talking about some of the other family members. I want books for all of them, but I desperately need books for both Jane and Charlie. Jane because I love her and she deserves more than she's got so far. Charlie because I kind of hate him right now, and I need to understand him better. I also need him to meet his match.
Lovers Like Us took the Like Us series exactly where I wanted it to go. I enjoyed reading this book so much. If you're a fan of Hale, Meadows, and Cobalts, you'll love it!

A family of wealthy celebrities, a team of bodyguards that protects them brings a story that will leave you ADDICTED! If you are like me and you are a fan of the dynamic twins, Krista and Becca Ritchie, you will be glad to be back to this world!
Maximoff Hale is the first born of a famous couple so he is used to the stardom and the media. His life is always under the microscope and no mistakes are allowed. That means no dating the bodyguard even if he is his crush from his teenage years.
Farrow has left medicine and he enjoys his job protecting one of the most known families in America. He is a rule breaker but flirting with a client might be dangerous even for him.
The chemistry for these two is hot from the beginning. Maximoff is always the responsible man but he feels lonely and he needs someome to support and love him and Farrow is the most suitable. Farrow sees the person behind the fame and there is understanding between them. I love that they share secrets that nobody else knows and there is trust and care. Their sexual encounters make the sparks flying and their banter is funny and brings more hot tension. Their conversations are like foreplay and there is playfulness and humor without missing the deep moments.
Maximoff is a man serious, head strong and adores his family. He is open to anyone and he always takes in consideration everyone’s feelings. If you have read the Addicted Series you will so many parts from Loren and Ryke in him. Farrow on the other hand is a daredevil. He cannot be bossed around and he is tough. Although, he doesn’t let many things affect him, he is so loyal and when he falls in love with Maximoff, you can see his respect and his need to protect him.
If you are used to these authors’ writing, you will know that their books are always multidimensional. Maximoff and Farrow is the main couple but there are other characters that don’t work as secondary but they are essential to the story. It’s a close family full of members and their bodyguards so prepare to be swept away with all their lives.
You can enjoy this series without reading these authors’ other books but trust me The Addicted Series is one of the best I have ever read. I cannot wait for the next book!

I am obsessed with the Addicted series, if you haven't noticed already. Krista & Becca are phenomenal writers and have created such an amazing world with their series. What stands out the most are the diverse group of characters. In the Addicted series the amount of characters weren't as high as the Like Us series. And you know what.. I LOVE IT! I love every damn character and their unique thinking and personalities. The authors do such a great job in surprising me each and every time with the actions of the characters. There is no DULL moment in their books. I enjoy each and every word they write. I don't even need to read a blurb and I already know I am going to one-click the book.
Let's get back to the actual book I am reviewing. Damaged Like Us didn't end with a cliffhanger, which I appreciated. In this book the gang needs to do some major damage control and lower the media attention on their families. Maximoff, Jane, Sulli, Beckett, Charlie and their six bodyguards are going on tour. I really loved the setting of this book and the super fun time they had. The bodyguards are HILARIOUS! In this book we get to know them a little better. I don't read a lot of MM romances, but I am kind of addicted to it because of DLU and LLU. The flirting and sex was so hot, I just couldn't get enough. Farrow and Maximoff are one sexy couple. They are also very playful with each other and I love their banter. I also love that they both have their alpha moments. The development of their relationship is continuing in a very steady pace, and I love each moment. I loved the ending of this book, and I can't wait to see what will happen next.

Another amazing read from the Ritchies. I absolutely adore the Addicted series so I was really looking forward to the Like Us series and was not disappointed. Lovers Like Us is a wonderful follow up to Damages Like Us. The characters are so fully developed and the emotions are palpable.

This book was absolutely everything I wanted it to be.
I always prefer when the angst or conflict comes from an outside source, which is the case here. Farrow & Moffy are such a great functional couple, their personalities really suit each other.
I had a huge smile on my face the whole way through, and I LOVED the ending. I cannot wait to read the next one! Xx

Read Damaged Like Us because I wanted more of the Hales, Meadows, and Cobalts from the first series. I liked it so of course I continued when this book came out. Sadly I didn’t like it. Farrow and Maximoff are great characters but the story didn’t hit the highs and lows. To me, it just fell flat.

So, this book was SOOOO much better than number one!!! Obviously, it had sexual moments but it wasn't the WHOLE book like last time. This time we got more intimate moments that made my heart swell up. Let's start with the writing. This was such a glorious romance but it also had an interesting plot it wasn't all about the relationship. We learned about the issue of Charlie and Maximoff, the stalker, and the trip itself. Maximoff was an even more interesting character this time because we didn't have to deal with those threats he says to the reader throughout the book. He was sarcastic and funny and felt like my twin. His close ties with his family is really special and how much he hates to be out of line with them or on another wave length is so cute. Sometimes he cares a little too much.
“The thing about addiction is that it changes you,” he tells me. “You don’t care about the people you love. All compassion and kindness dissolve in the face of your own wants and needs.”
I really adored the cute moments in their relationship and when they said stuff like this "I love you,” he says deeply. “And when you hurt, I hurt.” The author's deff keep getting better and better at writing their relationship. They still had some weird descriptions of their intamate moments but that is more of a personal issue than a story issue. One stand out character for me was Maximoffs dad Loren Hale. He was such a great dad and the makeup moments between Farrow and Lo and Lilly and Maximoff made me extremelly happy. Farrow's protective nature was on 100 in this book with the stalker and Charlie issues but it was so cute. When the bodygaurds blocked his path from going to Charlie on the bus I was like YASSSS. I hope the issue between him and Thatcher is a bigger topic in Alphas Like Us.
“With his chest to my back, he pulls me away from Nate. We near the brick wall, and his heart thuds against my body. And very strongly, he says, “It’s over, Farrow.”
The bodygaurd client love is sooooooo cute and I can't wait for more moments in book three. Honestly the whole ending left me shook. I was NOT expecting the stalker to be who it turned out to be. I was like WHAT OMG WHO I THOUGHT IT WAS IS NOT EVEN CLOSE. Needless to say they did a great job at making a twisted ending. And, the actual end was not what I was expecting either OMG. I was so happy they made it public but the authors left me on such a cliff hanger I NEED book three because I must know about the repercussions of this action Maximoff took like brooooo. This was really good and I finished it in a day and I am super happy that this was even better than number one. This made me really want to read all the books about the parents so I am excited to dive into those. If you didn't like Damaged Like Us give this a try because it was redeemed.
"Only three words beneath the picture. Three words that announce we’re a couple. Three words that I’ll never forget. Three words that’ll change everything. Lovers Like Us. People realize what’s happened, but I’m not looking. I’m not watching them. We’re in our own world. Our own universe. No one can have it. No one can break it. This moment belongs to us."
