A Thriller (The Scot Harvath Series) - The Last Patriot

The story line is very thought provoking and the thoughts throughout does make one wonder and open our eyes to threats in the US.
The ending came quickly and was disappointing. Like a lot of thrillers the author seems to build us up and wind us up and then seems to give up at the end to just finish the book.
How ever the threats brought up in this book are real and every American should voice our collective concerns.

I enjoyed the Mitch Rapp and Robert Langdon book series. And this particular book from the Scott Harvath series infuses the best of both characters and takes you on an escapade of thrills and suspense. Brad Thor knocked it out of the park.

"The Last Patriot" is a fast read of absorbing cryptologic intrigue woven around fascinating Jeffersonian and Islamic history. I started the Last Patriot and finished it in the same sitting... Bring on the next book!!

I really enjoyed this thriller by Brad Thor, one of his best. Some parts are real and some fictional.
It gives one a deep look, into speical & black operations that are always on going in our country, by very devoted men & women, that serve our country & try to protect us 24/7.
Once you start reading this book, it's hard to put it down.

This book brings to light so much about the Muslim faith that is relevant to the issues of today. Framed in an extremely well contrived fictional context, the reader gets a chance to understand and consider the history of Islamic extremism and the powerful forces that have evolved it into modern day terrorism. Every American should read this book.

Even though this is the seventh book on the series there are still enough twists to keep it an interesting read.
If you enjoy this type of book then Mr.Thor's writing will make you look forward the next adventure of the main characters.

Brad Thor keeps turning out exciting and intriguing books! Scot Harvath seems to be a "cat with nine lives"....not sure how many he's used at this point! Thor's story development continues to keep it's reader rivoted....and in a "just one more chapter before I put my book down'" mode. Highly recommend Thor's series!

Every moment of this tale of intrigue and threat is well spun for current times. The weave of fact and fiction is seamless. The lost revelation of Mohammed almost seems believable. The plethora of facts aboutThomas Jefferson and his inventions were icing on the cake. An excellent read!
