Once again Brad Thor has delivered a book I could not put down until the and then you can't wait until the next one. He writes bout events that are very close to events that could happen : frightening.

Mr Thor lived up to his reputation with this one. It is a fun and thrilling read. Scot is a great character as is the troll with his dogs. The plot is fast paced and unpredictable. Thanks for the fun!

I have read almost every Brad Thor book and after reading FULL BLACK decided to backtrack a bit and read Takedown. I couldn't get enough of the excitement and sure didn't want to miss out on previous stories. Very glad I did. Can't wait until the next book is written and released. GO THOR!!!

I accidently ran across one of his books and, after I completed it I've spent the rest of my time attempting to gain access to everything else he's written. I've yet to be disappointed by any of them.

Great espionage series. I would compare these to "24 hours" or Joel Rosenberg's Dead Heat series. I did not care for the few fowl words, and I am glad he just put a few, otherwise I would not have read them.

Brad Thor preys on every New Yorker's secret fear on the start of the Fourth of July holiday. The fast paced plot, the level of possibility, the horror of it all make this a typical great Brad Thor read!

I've read all the Jack Ryans, Jack Reachers, Gabriel Allons, John Rains, Mitch Rapps, Jon Bennetts, Pike Logans..... and I'm always looking for another character that can complete. Hello Scot Harvaths!

Interesting to see how some of the characters get moved around to help fight the cause. Have read some other books by Thor and not in any order so some of the characters have switched sides kinda cool to see how this plays out down the road.

Scot Harvath continues his dominance, dealing out justice against the terrorist attempts to undermine the American way of life. Once again he meets up with a beautiful women worthily of his affection only to disappoint readers.

I just started reading Brad Thor about 2 months ago. I have to say this has been my favorite so far. The last one had so many twists and turns it took me a while to finish. I think it could have and should have ended well before it finally did. I was afraid that would set a precident for future books, and was nervous about this one. My fears were put to rest as this book was phenomenal. If you enjoy the scot harvath series I am sure you will love this one. To top it all of the ending had me blown away and wanting more. Way to go, Brad Thor!

Overall they are very good. A couple of times during the series, the author has dwelled too long on the description/lead up to a part of the book. However, I do plan to continue reading the series. In fact, I am on the next book now.

This book lacks focus and throws everything into the action, including too much salt. Terrible book. The writing lacked depth and story development. Mr. Thor must have read a couple other mystery novels and throw all his half baked ideas into one book.
