i absolutely love this book and these series! i know they are hard to read at first , not everybody is able to stomach everything that is happening but the story is good !! i needed to know what will happen to Pim , she is one of my favorite female heroines in a book and i will never forget her story she is my star !! i read the whole series with my heart pounding hard but i couldn't stop and i don't regret it one bit

I got this book in exchange for a voluntary review. My name is Tasmin and my life ended one day. Iwas stolen and then sold to a psychotic monster. He took everything from me but my voice. I refuse to give him that. This book shows how much torture someone could take before finally giving up or lashing out. Tasmin even loses her name but keeps her memories.

At first I thought this book looked too violent and almost deleted it off my kindle. However instead I read it and I'm so glad I did. I immediately bought the other four in the series and had them read in a week. It's one of my favorite series ever. The first is the most violent but needed to understand what what this person has went through. Read it. All the books in the series are great.

I love pepper winters and pennies did not disappoint. I didn't think indebted could be topped but I think the dollar series will be even better. I could not wait and am well into book three and hope to finish the whole series by gomorrow. Elder and pim are complex and damaged and I'm glad I don't have to wait to find out how their story ends. I hope there is a hea for them.

Wow. Dark dark dark, but mesmerizing nonetheless. The characters: Pim, victimized, brutalized, nearly killed but still somehow retaining her sanity while enduring the unspeakable. Alrik despicable, monster, animalistic torturer. And Elder, hero or just another villain, we have to wait and see. Must read Dollars. Recommended but not for the faint of heart

This story was beautiful and depressing
Its horrible that she went through that hell and I'm shocked that myself kept reading it. But I had hope she would get away or die. I wanted her death just for her to get peace. But now I'm curious as to what he wants from her besides her voice.

Great premise and plot twists. Good characters. Unfortunately dragged down by a boring plot. So many things could have been cut. Not as much action as I surmised from the excerpt. But overall good writing and interesting things happen at the end. So the book is saved from 3 stars!

I will never read another book by this author. Very disturbing story. The only reason I finished reading was because I wanted to see Master A get his punishment. Very disappointed with the ending, too.I can't believe there are 4 more books in the series. Boring !!!

Pepper is the master of dark and unusual stories. Her characters are multi-faceted and compelling. Very dark, but worth the read to get to the end. Her original plots are outrageous and totally captivating and there are always twists. Great entertainment.

Wow! This was dark. Darker than I was expecting. There's not a lot to like about the first book in the Dollar series, Pennies. That being said I'm interested to see how anyone can be redeemed so I'll be reading more.

There's no HEA in sight with this book and there's is sexual violence aplenty. Pretty it ain't.

Not a fan of a cliffie but worked for this title.

This is just the begining. The ground work. The first book I think just sets the stag for whats to come from Pepper. Of course I wanted more. Sad starting story of human trafficing, rape, abuse, mutilation, attraction, and VERY EVIL SICK MEN. I couldn't put it down. Overall Good Read ready for the next.

Loved this book! Pepper knows how to hook you right at the beginning and keep you interested throughout! Her characters are flawed, but she makes you fall in love with them because you want something good to come of all their trauma. I couldn't put this book down!! This is a MUST READ!! Love Pepper's writing style - she's a one-click author for me! :-)

Pepper Winter's does it again. Another amazing dark read that keeps you in the edge of your seat or screaming at your phone. Be warned if your sensitive to violence this is not for you. It's not for the faint hearted.

This series annoyed me to death grrr... I like the first book but the second book is dragging so much inner thought I become liked Pim to freaking hate her on the second book, honesty the only worth of my $4 is toward the end when she stop being annoying and started to talk....

This book is probably going to wreck me. The whole book you just feel the story building......It's deliciously infuriating....I couldn't read fast enough to find out what was going to happen. Pim might be one of the toughest leading ladies I've ever read. Elder......oh he is intriguing and I want more.

Wow, this is the first book in the "Dollar" series and it will leave you wanting more! Great planned out plot with well defined characters will captivate you and refuse to let you go until the turn of the very last page!

Beautifully written, emotionally terrifying, and one of my worst nightmares written in a book. Very dark romance with extreme abuse and slavery only to be left with someone who's more terrifying. Was she truly saved? I'm intrigued and want to know what happens to Pim.

This book was extremely intense and dark. I could not put it down. The intense strength of the main lady drew me in and would not release me. It is part of a series and although it is not a cliffhanger necessarily you will still want to know what comes next.

Pennies was a little hard to read only because of the explanation of Master A. I could not stop reading the book due to know that Pepper Winters would not let us readers down. And she has not. This book tugs at you heart a great deal. Keep reading it does get so much better. I have read every book that Pepper is written and I will continue to read them.

I suppose the only complaint about this book was the fact that the hero wasn't introduced sooner. At times I was hoping to hurry the pace up, but that says more about me than the book. I've already purchased the second and will start it as soon as I finish this.☺

I was so tense and filled with anger sometimes while reading this stony, I had two put it down for a while. But couldn't wait to continue reading. I am fascinated with your story telling. And can't wait to see what happens now. Try not to make it long between books.

This story gripped me from beginning to end. I am looking forward to peeking in on Pim & Elders journey together. She's so broken and he's a savage, but I'm in love with them both. The raw ferocity of both of their characters drew me in, bit by bit, and page by page.

Pepper Winters has outdone herself!!! Elder Priest and Pamlico have become my favorite couple. Pimlico is a very strong women even though she's been through hell and still living with it. Elder seems like a good man but has a monster in his skin. I can't wait to see where the whole story goes. Dollars cannot come soon enough. Thanks Pepper!!

This book is so very deep and disturbing. A struggle against impossible odds and holding on to the only thing you have left. How to win small battles that only mean something to you while having everything else taken away.

This book was phenomenal! I didn't recognize the author until the end of the book but I love her writing style and devoured a previous book of hers. I am iffy on wanting to read the second... Kinda pissed about the total drop ending.

Pepper Winters writes with more intelligence than most authors of romance. The story is in depth with many twists and turns, a page turner that I cannot stop, one that I cannot predict. The men excite like no other and I am soaking and squirming as I read.

Pennies will bring you to tears and not just once. Seeing Tasmin go from a carefree young lady to Pim, broken in so many ways. It makes you just hold your breathe and cry for this young lady. Fantastic book.

This book was very intense and I loved every minute of it! Wow...Pim is such a strong and unbelievable character. I cannot wait to see what happens next between her and Elder! This is definitely a must read book!

Loved this whole series. It was well planned/thought out and definitely kept my attention. Read the next book immediately after finishing the last. I got them via kindle unlimited, but will be purchasing all to add to my long term collection.

Pepper Winters is my all time favorite author. She never disappoints. What a book this is OMG. I really can't put into words how awesome this series will
be. But it is definitely a must read for all pepper fans. I thought I loved Roan Fox the most , but Elder might be my favorite by the time this is over .

This is for all the Dark Romance lovers, the ones with the black hearts and even blacker souls. The ones who laugh in the face of BDSM and raise you sex slavery and debauchery that can't be mentioned unless you know you are in like company. This book is for you!

Pepper said that her fans said the darker the better and she hoped we meant it. I did and I do!

The girl who started out as a princess with a charmed life named Tasmin, became Pim. Pim, the sex slave to Master A. Pim, the destroyed, torchered, ruined, depraved nothing. Matter of fact everything was taken from her except the one thing she could control, her voice. So for 2 years, no matter the broken bones, the pain, the suffering, she refused to speak. Most definitely making her a bigger target for Master A but when you only have one part of yourself left, how hard do you hold on to it?

When a new man walks into Master A's house, Pim has hope for a very fleeting second until she realizes that her hero might not be a hero at all. Elder is a thief and an assassin.

And if he does try to rescue her, it won't be a rescue... He wants to steal her, just like the thief he is and his intentions are not good and true.

"I'm not the hero in this story, Pimlico. I'm another villain, you'd do best to remember that."

This is a 5 star, must read for all my peeps out there who feeds their dark soul with a dark romance.

As Always Pepper Winters always delivers. She is a great dark romance author which are my favorite to read. The dollar series is awesome and would recommend it to anone who likes these kind of books, I loved are Indebted series. Wow and Tears of Tess. She is the BEST!!!!
