Organic Vegetables from Your Home Garden All Year Long

I recommend this book to everyone who is willing to harvest their own food. There are many ideas in this book some people may already know but for us newbies it has lots of info we can try out. I also like the style of writing. It is easy to read.

Gotta love this guy, and Barbara. A really excellent book. All things practical and explained perfectly. Keep changing the way we eat, and the way we come by what we eat! Robert Rodale would be proud. Please, please, please start growing at least some of your own food. There is no better way to eat the freshest, healthiest foods on earth. Speaking of earth, growing something and then eating it later is an unbelievably satisfying experience.

I couldn't stop reading Four-Season Harvest. Elliot Coleman has an easy to read style that is no-nonsense. I highly recommend this book for anyone wanting to grow fresh veggies for her family. Garden in the spring/summer and harvest nearly year-round is the jest of it all. Great book!

MR COLEMAN WRITES GREAT INFORMATIVE BOOKS. ALTHOUGH IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE THERE IS AN AWFUL LOT OF REPETITION BUT EACH ON ITS OWN IS FULL OF USEFUL INFORMATION. HE IS THOROUGH AND SIMPLE. HE HAS GREAT IDEAS THAT ARE APPLICABLE TO A MULTITUDE OF SITUATIONS. IT IS CLEAR HE HAS ALOT OF EXPERIENCE.

I'm currently living in an apartment, looking to buy a house and hoping to get into gardening to save some money on vegetables.
I'm only about twenty pages into this book so far and I'll do an amended review once I finish it and begin to implement some of the info.

I already like the way the book is laid out and the author seems to know what he's talking about.

I purchased this book because I was interested in learning how to extend the growing season for vegetables. I was not disappointed in my purchase. This book is chock full of tips and ideas. I learned a lot of the "hows" and "whys" of plant growing. This book is well written and easy to understand.

This author is a wonderful writer, a pleasure to read.
He talks about the book (living the Good life). I read this book in the 70's, and was one of my favorites. This sparked more intrust in this book.
He Covers things is detail. I highly recommend this book.
