I love anything that R.L Matheson writes! Please don't makes us wait that long for your next book! My favs are Tall, Dark and lonely and NFH (all)! As soon as you write them I will read them and reread them?

Another enjoyable read from R.L. Mathewson. A hook with laughs and heart you cannot ask for more. I love that her female leads are not wimpy damsels in distress and the men that fall in love with them would move heaven and earth to make them happy.

Its an intro to a sub-series within Pyte/Sentinal world. It was a quick fun read. If you are waiting for the whole Williams clan you may feel a bit cheated, however this does not take away from the series.

As per usual R L Matthewson has written another great book. She always manages to pull you in with a great story and characters that you love. I would highly recommend reading this series. Looking forward to the next book.

I really loved this one. Kara and Drew's relationship was perfect, the fact we could see them grow to love each other, between all the anger issues, made it such a compelling read.

R.L. Mathewson really delivered.

Enjoyed the story but wished the bickering between Kara and Drew was less and there was more of the Pyte/Sentinel in the story. Was left wondering about the adjustments Kara had to take in, it was all to fast for me in the end. But I will say the twist in the story had me gapping.

Love the Pyte/Sentinel series. Glad we have our first book about a Shifter. It felt kind of rushed to me. There were some errors with missing words, almost like a page didn't load correctly. Interesting twists and laughing moments like any of RL's books. All in all, enjoyed it, other than the rushing factor and formatting (I don't know what to call the almost like missing pages) errors.

This book like all her others was incredible. I loved the story line and really loved how it ended. I hope to read more about them soon cause at the ending I was just wishing for another 10 chapters lol. Thnx R.L. for another great read and I'll be patiently waiting for more.

Too many loose ends and not action packed. I kept waiting for the climax or something dramatic to happen and it never happened. I really enjoy the author but this book was not one her best creations.

I loved her previous books. That said, the hero and heroine were so silly I couldn't enjoy the story. Grade school kids anyone? After a too many pages of back and forth childish antics...we have a cliffhanger. Grrrrrrrr! I'm finished with this serial.

Seriously, what the hell happened? I love the page series, but this book was utter crap. I can't even describe it because I kept nodding off while I read it. I feel like this book was a ploy to keep us hook into the series, without progressing the original story. There was enough unresolved issues in the series to write a book, instead we get more new characters that nobody asked for. To that I say boo! I'm over this author entirely at this point.

RL Mathewson's Pyte/Sentinel series has been one of my favorites and when she gave us "Fated" book 5 in the series I couldn't wait to devour it....much like her characters devour things...Kara and Drew's story was filled with snickers and laughter and I can't wait to read more of their story...especially now that we know why they were after Kara....I couldn't give 5 stars because there was nothing Pyte/Sentinel related until the end....wanted more during....
Sometimes Fate gives you what has been right in front of you all the time!

What a fantastic story from R L Mathewson. I absolutely loved the Love/Hate between Drew and Kara and how RL injects humorous moments into her books. I have only read a few shifter books and after reading the previous books in this series I was dying to get my hands on this. Drew caught my eye when we met him in a previous book and from the first page I was hooked, he was such an arse in the beginning and I don't even think he understood the extent of his true feelings for Kara until push came to shove.

Kara has so many secrets a few that she didn't even know then at the end of the book we are left once again craving more of this series.... I need more!!! (this is not a cliffhanger) I like the fact the characters don't get physically involved until further on in the book, it gives us so much more depth to their relationship.

In the end we are left with a nice surprise and I am wondering where the next book is heading, Drew also proves the extent of his love for Kara. I'm looking forward to seeing more of these two.

I'd like to thank RL for giving me that tiny fix of all my favourite characters, they make me smile whenever they show up.

I've been waiting not so patiently for another book in the Pyte/Sentinal series for quite a while. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with Fated. While the actual plot and love story was great, I felt like I had to dig to get to it. Pretty much the first half of the book felt like a NFH book. I kept waiting for jason to walk in and ask whats for dinner. And to be honest, I've thrown in the towel on the NFH series. Even before I gave up on them, I liked the Pyte books because they had a different tone to them. The humor was more subtle, and I felt like the plots were more substantial. In Fated, the first half of the book was just the two of them hating each other, and Kara being especially mean to Drew. That drives me nuts, but I can deal with it for a short time. But half the book was too much. After they got together, you get to the love story and plot of the book. Which was great, but there was so little of it. (I'd say maybe 20% of the book was for the actual plot) And there was a lot of repetition within that. Then, when it finally gets juicy, its over. It didn't feel like there was any closure at all. Now, I understand this is an ongoing series, and probably (hopefully) Drew and Kara will pop back up in future books, but it really would have sat better with me if the book went further into their future than it did. I don't want to spoil anything but at the end a pretty nice bomb was dropped, but it wasn't really explained what it means. And the author seems to be much more invested in the NFH series, so now how long is it going to take to get another book? And to be honest, this series is on thin ice with me as well. I'd really like to know what happens with Joshua and Jill and Kale, but I don't know if I can read anymore NFHish Pyte books.

Drew is a sensitive sort, "wait, he’d left something out…something important. Oh yeah. “And my ***k’s not small! So, stop doing that!” The men in R.L's books are just really entertaining it doesn't matter what series you're reading they all act the same, and that's protective, possessive and they think their crap don't stink, “she’s happy right where she is,” Drew, the large b******, said as he condescendingly patted her on the head." I really love this series and I can't wait for the next one.
