Hooked on the Game (The Sterling Shore Series #1)

Through a disaster, difference of opinions, a con and multiple misunderstandings Kade and Ray find each other to be the one the other can't live without. Please take the time to read this book, you won't regret it. I personally have forgotten how many times I've read this book.

I really liked this book. The characters had depth to them, none were too whiney or cocky. Some of it was a little far reaching in believability but books are meant as an escape so why not indulge in some fantasy type situations right! I am looking forward to the next one in the series and will look for other books by this author!

This book is currently free on the store. With free books, it could go either way... good or bad...Well, Hooked on the Game, was a good read. It has a different storyline. Which was nice. It's not like a lot of other books out there where it's pretty much the same story.... Quick read. Read in about an hours time.

I truly enjoyed this story because it was well written, it had a good plot and entertaining dialogue even if at times Raya's complains were too much and I had to skip a lot of pages when I came across parts I did not care to read but I enjoyed the humor and the end.

Wow. I'm actually surprised how much I likes this book. Kade is hot sexy rich and an ass or so you would think. Raya is sweet smart and so nice. Until a bulldozer trasher her house and her worst nightmare comes true. This book was a quick fun read, and I really loved the book and will read the next one.

Loved this book and how everything turned out in the end, Headed right away and got the second in the series right after. Very much appreciate that you do not need to read each book to understand the next. The love story is hot even though I wanted to kick the crap out of the h when he thought what he did anyway all in all a good book.

Enjoyed the main characters. Admired Raya's strength and determination to stay dependent on her own. Kade slowly wins you over and then you fall completely for him. I enjoyed his family and I love me a HEA. Looking forward to reading the next in the series :)

There is romance. I am surprised at how many "ROMANCE NOVELS" lack romance. In this book the h and H become friends before they become lovers. That, to me, is the most romantic part of an intimate relationship.

This is a fun and interesting read. The players are players or are they really. It would be so easy to get lost in these guys lives. Wildly twisting and turning making you want to read it all in one shot.

I absolutely love anything CM Owens writes and this one doesn't disappoint. Great story of a girl from the poor side of town falling for the rich guy who turns into the perfect man for her. Great suspense and unexpected circumstances.

This is the typical romance with a little intrigue. I enjoy the first person POV - she writes it well, using it to keep you asking questions. Cute world/cast of characters she has built. I'm buying the next one- that should be praise enough.

I liked it. It was free which sometimes means its a gamble, but I enjoyed it. The story had some good twists and the romance was believable for me. I would recommend it as a book to read when you need a little romance.

SO VERY HOOKED. Could not put Hooked on the game book down at all. They may have came from different backgrounds but they were met to be together. Kade and Raya are met together and ever more. I recommend this book

I enjoyed this book and the characters are fun and witty. The whole con artist side story is interesting and different in a romance novel. I loved Kade and Raya as a couple, they have some sparks flying and the banter is pretty entertaining. A nice story.

This was a really good story. The author really could get you to laugh and smile. I wish it was a little more about what Raya was going to school for and more in the epilogue. Other wise it was an excellent story!

Good book. kept me interested. Poor girl with a carrying a cross that isn't hers to bare meets rich guy that doesn't open up his life or heart to anyone. Will she be the one to break through his barriers? and will he be able to look beyond her past?

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! well written and thankfully had a serious plot. I was quite irritated with Raya's intent to be insecure but it's understandable given the circumstances. I recommend you read it!

Loved the strong female lead. Hero was too good to be real, so I loved the way she saved his ass at the end. Pretty cool way the characters showed growth throughout the story. Quick read. I look forward to the rest of the series.

Raya hates her neighbor Kade, his money and all the loud parties,but that all changes after her house is bulldozed by a couple of drunk frat boys and his father has the great idea she will live with Kade.

Nice teenager romance. I missed the guy's POV but then I found out there's a second book telling the story on his side. It may make sense tell the same story in two separate books, but makes me feel a bit at a loss while reading not to know a thing about what he's thinking.
Nevertheless, I enjoyed it enough to buy and read the following four books in the series right after finishing it.

I loved this book. I have already read it multiple times and every time is better than the last. The plot was amazing and the storyline epic! I will definitely be reading any other books in the series. I can't wait to get Kade's side of the story!
