It felt a little predictable to me. I found myself irritated with the characters at times, like they jumped to super predictable conclusions and it caused them heartache just for dramas sake... There is potential and I loved the jewelry angle of things, I just wish there had been more meat to it. Might be a great light read for someone though :-)

A small jewelry store called Tori's Treasure is about to become a total disappointment when Tori is so far in debt she has to sell her home and close her business and her love life has taten the same route.

These characters are ALL idiots.
The heroine, a supposed adult, is obsessed with a guy she kissed one summer when she was a teenager.
Now, her mother and his father are getting married, setting the stage for the stupid heroine, the hero's stupid brother, the hero's stupid ex-fiancé, the stupid hero, and the hero's stupid father to all behave irrationally.
The heroine is all about her high school crush becoming her step brother and wanting a relationship with the guy, even though she hasn't seen him in years. However, she unknowingly begins a flirtation with her crush's heretofore unheard of brother (see how well she knew her crush?). Turns out the brothers are estranged because the crush slept with his brother's (the hero) fiancé.
The crush and the ex-fiancé show up for the parents wedding. They've been 'long term dating'. The crush then blames the hero for the hero's fiancé throwing herself into his (the crush's) bed in the exact same breath as the crush claims to the heroine as 'his property' (?!), despite not having spoken to the heroine in years. This causes a fist fight between the bothers, with the heroine being pissed at the hero (wait, what? Him? Did she not just discover that the crush was claiming both her and the ex-fiancé? Simultaneously?). Meanwhile the ex fiance, who is dating the crush, tells the hero that she wants him (the hero) back! (Because nothing says 'I want you back' like dating the bother long term after cheating on her fiancé...)
Ah well, just after the heroine tells the hero that she wants nothing whatsoever to do with him and that she totally wants his brother, her crush, she gets incredibly pissed when she mistakenly believes that the hero is sleeping with his ex fiancé. (What?)
Meanwhile, in spite of all his father's efforts to reconcile with his estranged son, the hero is too eternally butt hurt to listen to anything his father says.
Back in the cluster**** foursome, the heroine discovers that the hero didn't sleep with the ex fiancé, so she leaps into bed with him herself. And he's totally into her, so of course he has to dump her the next morning because he isn't 'good enough' for her. Then changes his mind, but gets pissed because he thinks she's sleeping with his brother, her crush, because he witnessed a peck on the cheek. It's all a mistake, however, the brother is actually sleeping with the ex-fiancé. The ex-fiancé who wanted the hero back, but who is yet again the the brother's bed (Seriously?)
But wait, the father, who was trying to reconcile with his son, also engineered the hostile takeover of the estranged son's company that kicked his son out as CEO. (What???!) So that the father can then 'rescue' the son this bringing about a reconciliation! (I would say that was the dumbest plan ever read, but look at the idiocy of the rest of the characters). So you have the hero and heroine constantly thinking the other one is sleeping with others when they aren't, while the brother stakes claim to both women but Is 'in love' with the ex fiancé who wants his brother despite sleeping with him. So naturally the crush brother leaves her to go work with the brother winning back the business the father stole and rescued to give back to him (we never know what this business does). And I don't even know.
The brother wants the ex fiancé back after he leaves her and after she wanted the hero back, and the hero thinks the brother wants the heroine back and the heroine left town and... Good grief all of these people are idiots! None of them have an iota of maturity. They all play games and jump to conclusions about each other. And they all hold grudges. Lots of grudges.
I will say these characters deserve each other but that's about the best I can say. By the end, I dislike all of them about equally.

Jewelry designer Tori Henderson's first year in business was far more expensive than she could have imagined. Faced with closing the doors of Tori's Treasures, she sinks her last dollar into one final promotion--a widely publicized treasure hunt for a chest of fine, handmade jewelry that could drum up enough business to get her back in the black... or kill her shop once and for all.
The last thing she needs is her mother's announcement that she's preparing to marry Edward Trainor, the father of Tori's long ago summer crush, Gabe - a man who regularly makes his way into Tori's dreams some ten years later.
Corporate tycoon Jed Trainor has no intention of attending his estranged father's wedding, and he certainly doesn't need to see his half-brother Gabe after the other man put the moves on Jed's one-time fiancee. But with business problems looming, Jed needs time to think, and the small town of Moon Lake seems like the perfect place to hide away while he figures out how to save his empire.
Tori is determined to win Gabe's heart, but Jed has other plans. When they learn Gabe is bringing a date to the wedding, Jed offers to bring Tori himself, knowing any woman on his arm is sure to be on Gabe's radar. But his ploy for her attention just may blow up in his face. Can Jed prove to Tori he's the Trainor brother she really belongs with?
Jed Trainor was filled with unresolved anger and resentment towards his family. He was so bitter that he called his father Edward instead of Dad. And wouldn't budge an inch when it came to reconciling with him. His anger towards Gabe, was just a few notches below that, after all it was just another betrayal. Its gotten to the point where there are very few people that Jed does trust.
Tori Henderson has almost given up on love, finding her soul mate. She's too busy trying not to fail at anything else. Everything just seems to be falling apart in her life.
That includes her business that she has poured her sweat, heart and soul into. Things just seem to going from bad to worse, with one more problem piling up on her. One really good thing in her life is her best friend, Melanie. She's always there for her.
She remembers the good times with Gabe, he was her first kiss. She wonders if he could be "the one", she just wants to find out if he is. After all, she has been thinking about Gabe for years. Things once again don't turn out the way she had hoped but then that pushy Jed just seems to keep getting in her way.
Family Dysfunction really plays a large part in this story, but its not the only theme. Jed wants Tori but he's go afraid to even go there with her. So, its a "pull her to me",and then "push her away for her own good" type of romance. He has a lot of wounds and puts a few on her too in the process.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Weddings are stressful. Your mom marrying your childhood crushes dad while you are struggling to keep your company in business is even more. Tori comes up with the idea of a treasure hunt in hopes of keeping her struggling business going. She is balancing that while trying to be supportive and help her mom with the details of the wedding. Tori is excited to see her old crush Gabe and is hopeful that things will work out for her. Instead she keeps running into Jed, Gabe's estranged brother. Jed is having issues with his company being taken over as well as dealing with his dad who left him when he was 6. Add in Jed's ex-girlfriend to the mix and you start to wonder how this will all turn out.
There are a lot of characters in this book, which does take a bit of time to figure out.Families can be complicated. However, the story line continues on in the next book so once you figure them out, you're ready for the next one. The story is a feel good story with a happy ending. It's one to read when you want a nice, easy end to your day.
I was given a copy of the book by the author in exchange for an honest review. And I got all three in the series - bonus!!

Tori Henderson is on the verge of losing her business. Her mother announces she is going to marry the father of Tori's old heart throb, Gabe, from ten years ago. Could Tori and Gabe pick up where they left off? Tori agrees to take on the job as wedding planner for the wedding that is going to take place in ten days. Next, Gabe's half-brother, Jed, comes to Moon Lake for the wedding and sparks fly between he and Tori. Jed has plenty problems of his own. Can things be any more complicated? Oh, yes.
I found Amy Gamet's novel, Treasure on Moon Lake, to be a heartfelt and fun to read romance story. The plot is solid and the well developed characters are believable. There are surprises and issues to be resolved and the story is engaging to the very end. Highly recommended.
I received this book for free though LibraryThing and I give this review of my own free will.

Tori Henderson is about to lose her store Tori's Treasures. Tori is gambling on her treasure hunt to bring in much needed revenue. Tori's mother Bonnie surprises with the news she's getting married to Gabe Trainor's father Edward. Tori's never forgotten Gabe thinking of him often even ten years later. Jed Trainor is trying to prevent losing Trainor Enterprises from hostile takeover. When Jed learns that his father is remarrying and wants him to be his best man. Jed flatly refuses but in a strange twist of events he ends up in Moon Lake. When a beautiful woman asks him a question about past loves he's stunned by the question. When Jed discovers the his mystery woman is none other than his father's fiance daughter. Jed and Gabe don't see eye to eye on great many things including the past. Will Tori lose her business? Will Jed let go of the past? Will Tori admit she's falling in love with Jed? Your answers await you in Treasure on Moon Lake.
Amy Gamet's writing and characters are exceptional. I find the characters to be so compelling, interesting, down to earth, and real. The story sucks me in from first page to last page. I simply devour the book in a matter of hours. I look forward to reading more books by this author.

I liked the main characters, Tori was the perfect foil for Jed. One with lots of bubbling life and one who stands outside wanting what he sees but not knowing how to get it. The little town of Moon Lake is picturesque at its best. All in all, a very satisfying read. I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I enjoyed this book so much. The poetry used for the clues to me were the best part of all because every clue showed how the greatest treasure of all is finding true love with someone. Most people don't have the faintest idea what true love is all about but Amy Gamet surely gives a very good description of it.
