Cute fast read. My only problem with this book was the couple couldn't get their crap together, and Myla was a freaking doormat. I hate books where the heroine is a doormat. I just wanted both of them to grow a pair and tell off the ex.

A very cute, heartwarming story. Love the small town romance element it had, as well as the colorful characters.
Myla Rose & Cash made for a great match. They went through their fair share of pain & misunderstandings but were able to come out on top in sweet & satisfying ways. And the way Cash claimed Myla Rose & her belly... *swoon*
My only gripes... I found the "name game" distracting at times (felt like so many nicknames/multiple names for characters) & I really would've LOVED more descriptive sex scenes.
Looking forward to more books in this series! Hopefully, we'll get to see HEAs for Magnolia, Simon, Azalea, Drake & Seraphine. (Not that I'm being a #GreedyB**** or anything...)

Coming Up Roses (Southern Roots #1) by LK Farlow is a sweet, contemporary, small-town romance told in alternating POV. I loved both Myla Rose and Cash as lead characters. The supporting characters were also very likeable and fun.
Myla Rose is pregnant by her douche canoe of an ex-boyfriend who dumped her as soon as he found out. She's preparing to raise a child as a single parent.
Cash was planning on proposing to his long-term girlfriend until he caught her in the act of cheating. He moves to a new town to get a fresh start.
When Myla Rose and Cash meet the attraction is instant but neither is looking for a relationship. Living in such a small town keeps them running into each other, and they can't deny their chemistry. But in order to find happiness together, they both need to overcome the heartbreak from their pasts and trust each other.
I really enjoyed this story. It was just so sweet! I gobbled it up like a fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies! I will definitely read the other books in this series.

*** ARC KINDLY provided by the AUTHOR in exchange for a HONEST REVIEW ***
I was hooked from the first chapter. The male lead Cash is in a serious relationship and ready to put a ring on it. His girlfriend at the time thinks otherwise. The first part of the chapter, I knew, absolutely without a doubt knew what was about to happen. It was like screaming at the person in a horror movie to not go through that door or in the attic. I was screaming Cash don't go into that house, don't go into the bedroom. Sure enough he finds what I expected and all I have to say is good riddance.
Well that good riddance stayed when we meet the female lead Myla Rose. I originally thought Myla Rose was going to be the whole poor me and I can't do this on my own or I am not strong enough without someone and man WAS I WRONG. I'll gladly take it too. We find out (promise this isn't a spoiler - I mean have you checked out the cover or the blurb?) that she is pregnant. Of course the baby's father wants nothing to do with it. Surprise, surprise. But what shocked me the most was how in control Myla Rose is with the help of her best friend. When others bring her down she brings herself right back up again and is promising herself and others that she will be the best mom this child will have unlike her mother was to her. Heck I can guarantee she'll be a better than the Taylor - the baby father's - mother, because man oh man is she a royal something alright.
So let's get to the moment where these two meet. A casual meeting, but the impact is nothing but casual. A run in that last maybe a minute but later throughout the day they can't get either out of their minds. Weeks go by in a flash and yet they are still thinking of that one quick meeting. Finally friends bring them together and sparks fly!
Except there is one big thing preventing those feelings to become something. Myla Rose's big ol pregnant belly. Well actually it's not big, but you get my point.
Want to know what one of my favorite thing about this book is? Well other than the WHOLE FREAKING BOOK? The fact that Cash is explained as "no six-pack abs or bulging muscles". I am so sick of hearing about non-average males in romance novels. Don't get me wrong I love muscles for days, but I love a down to earth man who is also super sexy without those sometimes unrealistic romance attributes.
As the book goes on I get frustrated but not in a big or horrible way. I know these two are PERFECT for each other and just want to smack them both upside their heads. Stop believing things that are not true. Actually tell each other what you're feeling or what is going on in life. UGH COMMUNICATE differently! Such a common thing in romance novels and LK Farlow wrote it wonderfully. I was drawn in but it was not too much of a angst or me becoming too upset.
I love the secondary characters and I am sure we will get other books for these characters as well. Without ruining things I will just say I. CAN. NOT. WAIT. for AzzyJo's book!!!!! Oh and I need to know ASAP what is the back story with Magnolia!
Oh and that ending? Everything I wanted and better than I imagined! Now excuse me while I go run and recommend this book to all my reading friends!!!! :)

“Some people just have hearts wired for trouble…”
Omg!! COMING UP ROSES was like a BREATH OF FRESH AIR!I could not wait to dive into this book because the premise was so freaking adorable and I had a gut feeling that it would provide me with a plethora of warm, fuzzy feels. And yay…my instincts totally paid off!!
Author L.K. Farlow is a REVELATION! The fact that this sweet, southern fairytale is her first published book is nothing short of remarkable. It’s so beautifully nuanced, exquisitely polished and vibrantly written that you would assume she has many titles under her belt. And since this author is a bona fide Southern girl, she infused the book with an authentic down home flavor that truly TICKLED MY FANCY!
I am not going to do a play by play of the plot but I will say that COMING UP ROSES has the MOST darling “meet cute” encounter—the preggo heroine crashes into the hero with her buggy at the local Piggly Wiggly— and from that moment on I was completely and utterly hooked! This romance, set in a tiny gossipy southern town, revolves around Myla Rose McGraw and Cash Carson, who have been hurt terribly in the past and have vowed to never ever allow their hearts to get trampled on again. But the instant their eyes lock for the first time in the grocery aisle there is a cosmic shift and you just FEEL this charge of electricity between them.
Both of these characters OWNED MY HEART! They are so lovable you just want to squeeze them tight! Myla has a firecracker personality yet an endearing vulnerability too. Although she has not exactly led a charmed life and finds herself pregnant and alone, she's determined to “pull up them bootstraps,” as her beloved Grams would have done, and do right by her "little bean." And OH MY STARS!! With those big broad shoulders, gorgeous blue-gray eyes, country boy charm and heart melting smile, Cash is pure swoony BBF perfection!! So while he is a tad bitter and jaded courtesy of his lying, cheating ex, deep down he is as true blue as you can get and I fell right along with Myla for this handsome fella!
As with any good romance, there is plenty of juicy drama, conflict and tension, and Cash and Myla’s journey is no walk in the park. They both have trust issues, have suffered soul crushing heartbreak and their union is fraught with some mighty significant obstacles. Like…hello? Myla has a bun in the oven by another baby daddy and is NOT in the market for a dragon slayer! But Cash is a MAN ON A MISSION and I appreciated how tries to puts his own romantic hang-ups aside and pulls out all the stops to woo Myla.
However, while the sweet, feisty hairdresser is as wildly attracted to Cash as he is to her, she's got some deep seated insecurities. Myla has a hard time relying on anyone but herself, or believing that a great standup guy like Cash could ever want to be saddled with a high school dropout whose carrying another man’s baby.... Dare she pin her hopes and dreams on this chivalrous southern gentlemen who just MIGHT make all her fairly tales wishes come true?
I L.O.V.E.D. the slow burning, sweet build to this homespun romance. There is palpable push-pull, sizzling romantic sparks and heart tugging feels throughout, and they say the best things in life are worth fighting for. Well, that certainly holds true with this book. I had fluttery butterflies throughout and thought Cash and Myla SPARKLED in each and every scene they shared!!!
As much as I enjoyed this story, there were a couple hiccups that explains my 4 STAR rating. The first pertains to the side characters. While overall I found them to be a refreshing addition to the story and think they provided richness, flamboyancy and oodles of charisma to the story —especially got a kick out of Myla’s fiercely loyal “wolf pack” of BFFs— I felt at times the supporting cast dominated a little too much of the plot and found myself craving more one-on-one time with the main couple.
My second critique is in regard to the ending. I thought the HEA was a tad rushed and would have liked to have seen more of a big, sweeping, emotion-packed reconciliation between the H&h after their big falling out. It was a bit of a letdown for me after all the heart wrenching drama that we were TOLD about their reunion but it seemed to happen off page. Something was a little lost in translation on that front. However, those two quibbles aside, this is unquestionably a STELLAR debut from a fresh new voice in the romance genre and I look forward to many more books from this talented newcomer!
Bottle line: COMING UP ROSES by L.K. Farlow is a pure slice of romance heaven!! So if you have a hankerin’ for an intoxicating love story chock full of sweet southern charm then this delightful novel is gonna hit your sweet spot!

This book had me reminiscing about Steel Magnolias—a bunch of women, talking and working in a hair salon, all the town gossip coming through, the hated wench of the town stopping by. And oh, did I hate that wench! And her … well, there are no nice words to describe her son. Worst people ever!
Anyway, Myla Rose is pregnant, and her … boyfriend, for lack of a better term, is a giant *clears throat* who scoffs when she tells him, saying the baby isn’t his and, by the way, I don’t want to be with you anymore because you’re not good enough for me. Have a nice life. O.M.G. I wanted to kick this guy in the nuts, and then hang him by them by the time this book was done. He had no redeeming qualities whatsoever. And poor Myla Rose, all she could do was make the best of it. I loved her backbone, but man, she could really lose it around her ex. He was so condescending to her. Again, I wanted to string him up by his balls!
Cash, the male protagonist, I’m not sure how I feel about him. In the first chapter, he walked in on his girlfriend, who he was about to propose to!, having sex with a man she had been having a relationship with for THREE years! WTH? Oh, man, she was yet another person I wanted to mangle. Therefore, Cash was jaded, and it affected his growing relationship with Myla Rose and the relationships of their mutual friends. Him and Myla Rose seemed to always say and do the wrong things around each other. It was a disaster that had you guessing how this story was going to end.
Overall, the book has a sweet quality to it, with some spice, and not always the good spice, as there was a lot of tension and misunderstandings going on throughout the story. Personal feelings aside (unfortunately, I’ve known women who were promiscuous while pregnant, not that this happened in Coming Up Roses), I admired Cash for not caring that Myla Rose was pregnant with another man’s baby. He was ready to step up to the plate and help Myla Rose in any way possible. He saw her as a sweet yet strong woman who shouldn’t have to go things alone. Though he was strongly attracted to her, he wanted to just be in her life anyway he could. You have to admire that.

Coming Up Roses is a well written, feelgood, romance that will captivate you. Endearing characters, irresistible dialogue and charming storyline proves Coming Up Roses is a winner.
At 20 years old, Myla Rose McGraw has done everything in her power not to be like mother. But as fate would have it, she ends up single and pregnant, anyway. No thanks to her self-centered, immature ex-boyfriend, Taylor, who decides he doesn’t want to be a parent.
Cash Carson comes back to hometown after he’s betrayed by a cheating girlfriend. He crosses paths with Myla Rose realizing both have close friends in common. Their meeting is a bit awkward, at first, but the attraction is undeniable. Just something about Myla Rose’s warm smiles and charm intrigues Cash. It doesn’t matter that Myla is in a unique situation, he’s falling for her. But Cash has trust issues because of his ex. Will he able to trust Myla Rose not to break his heart?
Coming Up Roses is a heartwarming, sweet story with all the feels that will make you swoon and fall in love all over again. I like how Cash and Myla Rose have a close-knit group of incredible friends, Azalea, Seraphine, Simon and Drake. I’m so looking forward to the next book in the Southern Roots series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

5 Stars from Renee!
The story has laughs, surprises, secrets, and heartbreak.
This is Myla and Cash’s story. Myla is single and pregnant but she is going to take care of herself. Cash is just out of a bad breakup and has given up on love. Both have had bad experiences with past relationships but both are moving on. When they run into each other in the store they are drawn to each other but Myla believes Cash will not want a single mother to be. The two experience things together that some couple do not. But in the end will Cash be able to believe in love again or will he also walk away from Myla?
I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
I highly recommend this book.

LK Farlow is brand new to me but man did she make an impression and gave me a contender for my top book list of this year. THIS is the kind of romance I'll take any day over others. Sweet. Sexy. Instalove. Emotional. Give me this all wrapped up in a swoony full length novel and I'll be hook, line and sinker from the very start.
Coming Up Roses was a beautiful journey with a somewhat second chance at love that had me swooning from beginning to end and smiling ear to ear the entire time y'all. Farlow delivered a stellar southern romance that was easy, safe, and just all around captivating. Myla and Cash were a nice fresh off breath air in an overly involved and deep romance world.
She's alone and pregnant with a dead beat dad not in the picture. He's sworn off love and romance after a bad breakup. But the moment these two met, the sparks begin to fly.
Throw in some great friends, fun banter, slight complications, addicting chemistry and undeniable feelings..... Cash and Myla are going to steal your heart.
Farlow might be new to the game but man flees she HAVE it. Jump at this book of you like the lighter, sweeter side of love.
I highly recommend this book.

Coming Up Roses by LK Farlow was a sweet, endearing read about finding love in the most unexpected places. Farlow, a first time author, wowed and floored me with her sweet, twangy, southern story of a young girl who's found herself pregnant after trusting the wrong guy.
Farlow’s Myla Rose is sweet, sassy and stronger than the average 20 year old. Hard times and struggles have been her story since her mother ran off and left her. Raised by a sweet southern granny, Myla Rose is determined to raise this baby on her own until Cash Carson steps in and changes her life in one unexpected whirlwind.
Cash Carson is the epitome of the perfect man. Kind, caring, hard working are just a few of the ways I’d describe Farlow’s leading man. One bump of a buggy at Piggly Wiggly has his sights set on Myla Rose. Pregnant or not Cash is all in and determined to make her know she’s worth it.
With the help of a colorful, funny and interesting set of friends, these two come together is a romantic story that leaves you turning pages as fast as possible. I absolutely am a fan of Farlow. For a debut novel, I was beyond amazed at the story laid before me. My only suggestion would have been to dial down the southern dialect a bit. I’m a Southerner from the deep south and even for me, it was a bit too twangy.
Coming Up Roses is definitely a book I will recommend to other readers. Cash and Myla Rose’s story is so heartfelt and hopeful that you just have to read it. I can’t wait to see if Farlow will follow up with more from these two and their wonderful friends! I am not ready for this story to end.

Coming Up Roses is the first novel in the Southern Roots series. What a way to start a series and what a way for L.K. Farlow to start her writing career! I loved the way this novel flowed effortlessly.
Myla Rose is pregnant...with her douche of an ex's baby. When she first found out, she had dreams of white picket fences and the perfect family. Those dreams where quick to shatter when her baby daddy decided he wanted nothing to do with her baby.
Cash Carson just had his heart torn out of his chest. He had the roses, the candles, and the ring. All he needed was the woman to say yes. His dreams came to an end when he finds his girl in bed with another man. Now Cash is back home and healing his broken heart.
My favorite part of this novel was the first meeting between Myla Rose and Cash! I immediately felt the sparks and I Immediately wanted them to be together. These two are adorably sexy.
I cannot wait to read more from L.K. Farlow in the future! I have a great feeling that she will become one of my favorite authors!

LK Farlow clearly knows her way around a southern drawl. This book is not one that you just read; it's one you actually hear.
At twenty, Myla Rose's life is not where she thought it would be. For one thing, she's pregnant. And for another, her baby daddy wants nothing to do with their impending bundle of joy, not to mention her. For all of this, though, she's remarkably content. She co-owns a successful beauty salon, lives in her girlhood home (left to her by her beloved grandmother), and she has a close circle of friends. She neither wants--nor seeks--romantic diversion.
Yet it shows up anyway, in the form of hunky furniture carpenter Cash Carson. He, too, is not looking for romance. He, too, suspects that his life isn't where it should be.
There are quite a few obstacles standing between these two. There is Myla Rose's pregnancy, for one thing, and then there is Cash's fears and past experience. They check his actions, whether he realizes it or not.
Farlow infuses this book with a sense of small town southern America, whether through references to hairstyles or sweet tea. Even better, she shows you how the concept of family includes more than just your blood relations. Sometimes your friends know and understand you better than your kin. Sometimes they love you more and want to protect you.

A sweet debut novel for this author!
The Southern charm just drew me in.
Myla Rose gets a raw deal in life. From a rotten mother who walks out on her, no father and a boyfriend who was just using her for a good time, leaving her with a baby on the way.
But Myla Rose was raised by her Grandma to be a strong, independent woman. Life sometimes gets her down, but she licks her wounds and finds her way back.
Cash has been burned bad! His girlfriend of 6 years just ruins him. She is a character that you will love to hate. After finding her with another guy, Cash packs up and heads to a town he lived in for awhile as a kid. His mom and brother live there, along with an old friend. He's starting over and he's successful running his own woodworking business.
Cash and Myla Rose run into one another at the Piggly Wiggly and sparks fly. Instant attraction for both. Between living in a small town and having mutual friends, they keep seeing eachother. But their path to one another will not be an easy one. Cash is trying to let go of his past, while Myla Rose needs to concentrate and focus on her future.
I enjoyed this author. I would definitely read work from her in the future. The side characters were funny, loving and gave authenticity to the story. It's a sweet story, with some drama, great friendships and love!

I Voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book
Myla Rose McGraw is a twenty year old single and she's pregnant. But even though she is alone and pregnant and might have some doubts, she knows she can do this on her own. She has her awesome friends who will do anything to help her out and soon she is going to have a little person who will love her just as much.
Until she in the store and accidentally knocks into Cash Carson. Sexy, Hot and so freaking sweet.
Cash Carson has had a bad breakup, a cheating girlfriend who he was just about to propose to. So coming back home all he wants is to spend time with his family and grow his business, and definitely not looking for love or a relationship. Until he meets Myla Rose. Sweet, shy Myla Rose. One women he did not see coming. Neither his protective, attraction towards her.
But will he be able to overcome his fear of another women cheating on him and will they be able to have their happily ever after with Myla's douchebag ex threatening her and trying to ruin her new found happiness.
Awesome story from this author! A True Romantic swoon worthy story, that I can't wait to read more about the other characters that we were introduced to. The awesome BFF and friends. Totally can't wait!

Myla Rose and Cash are swoony. These two are both coming off horrible break ups. These two are swearing off the other gender. Myla Rose doesn't need a man to take care of this baby and Cash doesn't need a woman to be complete.
However upon meeting, they both cannot stop thinking of the other.
With mutual friends, they end up at a few different places at the same time. The chemistry grows until its combustible. I loved that Cash had a need to take care of her, but I also loved that Myla Rose didn't want it or feel like she needed it.
The author did a fabulous job getting us to the relationship, it wasn't hurried, it wasn't insta, and it certainly wasn't easy. Cash immediately though has a need to take care of her. He keeps questioning himself, why does he feel like he needs to be there to take care of simple chores that she can obviously handle? He just feels like he does. He wants to complete projects and help her with tasks. He wants to be her partner.
The writing was excellent, the story grabbed me and kept me until I was complete. I went from a dead kindle to a dead phone back to my kindle until I was finished. I wanted to know if they made it, would Cash let his heartache get in the way of what he was feeling.

This was a good debut story. A sweet, southern, contemporary romance that I blew through in less than a day because it was quite the page turner.
Both Cash and Myla Rose drew me in with their sad starts. But as the story progressed and the two met and I saw more of their personalities and heart, I was hooked. Cash was the kind of guy stories are meant to be written about. He was so supportive of Myla Rose. Being there for her even in moments she didn't ask for and just being a good guy at his roots. Myla Rose was just one of those characters that you can't help but want good things for. She has been through so much and still is going through things all throughout the story. They were both just great characters.
This story was full of good friends, sad pasts to overcome, impending parenthood, and a sweet romance to get wrapped up in. There were misunderstandings to work through and walls to break down. It certainly didn't feel like a debut story, but it was so well done that I will be on the look out for more by this author in future.

Coming Up Roses was such a delightfully, sweet read with a surprising knight in shining armor and a woman who thinks she can't trust men. The love that blossoms between our hero and heroine sizzles, and literally took my breath away! I fell in love with the storyline, the fabulously written characters and the perfect...and I do mean PERFECT romance!
The setting was delightful, there was plenty of swoon worthy moments and a few moments that hurt the heart. This was such a great book and I can't stop gushing about it! LK Farlow is an author I MUST start following and I am very happy to see what comes next. Coming Up Roses gets a AMAZINGLY SWEET FIVE SHOOTING STARS!

What an amazing cover! It’s so classically beautiful! I knew when I saw it that I’d need to read this book! I’m so glad I took a chance on a new author. This book was just as beautiful at the cover! I love a good, sweet story that has tons of friends and family in it. You just FEEL it!
I can’t think of any other way to think of this book that saying it was just the essence of a southern romance! Cash was the most swoonable character ever! I mean, does he have any flaws? There’s just something about a good southern man that makes a smart woman weak in the knees! They all just portray southernness in all its glory!
More than anything, I’m in shock that this was a debut novel. LK Farlow writes a great story. It pulls you in and just makes you feel good inside. It’s heart-warming. She gives us good, strong characters that we will want more from, I do, by the way, want more from all of them! We have sad pasts that we struggle to overcome. Plus that huge preggo belly on the cover… who doesn’t love a sweet, pregnancy book? I know I do!
I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.

A good storyline, nice flow, if author is reading these reviews I would only suggest a couple of things... 1) I felt the whole Myla Rose being said over and over was a bit redundant, like I understand that's her name, but the whole using the middle name every time is a bit much. 2) thewholerunningwords togetherindicaterushedsentence? No, just NO. A) it's hard to read, B)it shows lack of faith in readers to understand phrases such as "I said so fast that my words ran together" because honestly, that's all you need to do is give a bit of a description to convey how fast a character spoke. C) it's juvenile, like it's cliche, seen it over and over and usually by fourteen year olds who write these types of sentences on fan fictions or Wattpad. Speaking of juvenile 3) the whole popping the p, I let the first one go, mainly because it was one time and we'll into the story before it was said, but on the second and only other time, I had cringed mainly because it was from the guys point of view. Just to reiterate, there is no need of saying the phrase popping the p, when someone says the words "yep" and "nope" the reader usually pops the p already so that is not needed and also a bit cliche of the fourteen year old. Also on a bit of a personal note, I felt the steamy scenes a bit rushed and lacking, but it didn't have to be full of smut, also felt like once we finally get them to where they were supposed to be, it was over. Plus the whole scene between the antagonist and cash was very anticlimactic. But all in all it was a decent read, still giving it a good rating.

I really enjoyed this debut novel! This story is of Myla and Cash - Myla being the sweet hard-working sassy southern girl and Cash the adorable and supportive good guy. They both have had their share of heartache when they find each other. Their friends are amazing and LK does a great job of character development – to where you feel you know each of their personalities well! There is a little bit of everything here – great friendships, sadness, angst, funny moments, the pain of dealing with exes, and romance! Well written - great job on the debut – looking forward to more!

This was a freaking fantastic book from a first time author she did a banging good job on this book. This book had all the bells and whistles of goo southern charm. I'm beginning to love the southern charm books more than other books. Cash and Myla were great together they fit so well. This wasn't a billionaire book where the guy goes after what he wants no this book didn't have a billionaire but what this book had was two people who weren't looking for a relationship because Cash had his heartbroken and Myla who ended up with an unexpected surprise.

What an amazing book! I was bored with everything I was reading and this book caught my eye! I'm so glad I took the chance!!!
The characters are true to life Southern. I felt like I was in my own small Alabama town. The friends are friends all the way through, the families are true to form.
Cash and Myla Rose are such a sweet couple. I feel like I'm watching the neighbor girl and boy fall in love!

Keeping it short and sweet, I have plenty of nice things to say about this lovely book. I was into this one from the jump and the more I read, the more I wanted to read! Theses characters, how their story unfolded, and the writing kept me hooked throughout the entire book! Cash and Myla, even with their moments, were amazing together and my heart warms thinking about them. Their story was sweet and was engaging all the way through and I can’t wait to continue with this series and love the other couples just as much!!

Oh. My. Gosh. This book was written amazingly! I loved Myla and Cash! Their dinamics we're great together. I would suggest not starting this book at night because you would lose sleep trying to finish it just to know what was going to happen next. Myla found out she was pregnant and told her boyfriend (soon to be ex) about it. He doesn't want anything to do with her or baby (or so it would seem). Cash walks in on his girlfriend (soon to be ex) and just walks out. Myla and Cash meet in a fun way and it just gets better from there! I won't give away the story, but this is a must read!

This amazing southern love story will have you melting.
Myla Rose finds out she's pregnant by her uncommitted d-bag boyfriend. She's determined she'll be the best mother, despite her situation.
Cash Carson wants nothing to do with women after finding his long time girl friend cheating on him.
Everything changes when Myrla Rose runs (literally) into him.
I was dying to read this and it was so worth the wait. Hard to believe this is LK Farlow's first book. Well done!!!

Pregnant by her ex who refused to acknowledge the baby, Myla Rose literally runs into the man of her dreams at the Piggly Wiggly. But Cash has been carrying a lot of pain when he caught the woman who was suppose to be his dream in bed with another man. Can attraction grow with two people afraid of going forward especially with a baby in between.
Nice romance with a steady pace on an emotional rollercoaster.

One thing I love the most is when authors completely kick a** on their debut novels! And Coming Up Roses by LK Farlow is no different!
This sweet southern tale was almost too much to handle. Plenty of sexy times, plenty of swoon times, and enough angst to keep the pages burning and turning!
I love Myla and Cash SO much! Everything about them and their journey was fascinating! And I can't wait to see what happens in their future along with their amazing group of friends!

A sweet southern romance read! Enjoyed reading all the accent work in the book. It's always a pleasure when the author takes time to put those in. It also helps me read the accents better and feel more transported to that location. I thought the characters were funny and truly lovely to read about. They were written complexly and their plot goes right along with their personalities!
I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily reviewing.

This book quickly became one of my favorite books that I have read. I loved the storyline so much and the southern aspect especially since I am from Tennessee myself. It had amazing charm and you just fall in love with the characters so effortlessly. I never wanted to put it down. I am definitely watching for future books from LK Farlow as she is now in my top authors to read. Highly recommend!!

Myla Rose just had the impossible news dropped on her. She’s with child and the father is a spoiled brat who just ups and walks away. This should break a girl but not Myla Rose. She’s tough and resilient which is a trait she gets from her Gram. Her world explodes when she literally rams a buggy into the handsome Cash Carson down at The Piggly Wiggly. She is hesitant because hey she is with child what man would want that but she couldn’t be more wrong.
Cash Carson thought his life was on the right track. Setting out to propose to his girlfriend of six years only to catch her with someone else. He tucks tail and heads back to his hometown of Dogwood. Here he opens his own carpentry shop and makes a life for himself. When the beautiful Myla Rose crashes into him he knows deep down he found his one. What he didn’t realize is that they’d jump a lot of hurdles to be together.
I truly enjoyed this story and all the southern sayings. I actually pictured all this happening in the tiny town I currently live in. I hated Taylor with a passion he was such a jerk (I would call him worse) he didn’t deserve to breathe air. I love the interaction between Carson and Myla and even with the others in the group. The only thing that held me back at times was Myla herself. I get wanting to be an independent woman and not wanting to have someone talk to her like Taylor did but girl get a grip Cash isn’t that man. I truly enjoyed this story with a twist it takes a real man to be a Cash and trust me this is a subject I know a lot about.
