How to Save an Undead Life (The Beginner's Guide to Necromancy Book 1)
How to Save an Undead Life (The Beginner's Guide to Necromancy Book 1)

Review:This book was incredible. Different from others I read. I love the haunted house who speaks and acts. That’s just hilarious. And yes I was suckered and bought into Volvaks purchases, body guards, and special gift to deem her trust, and I was equally blindsided by his evil side. Cant wait to learn the hundreds of secrets Maud kept hidden. Read more

Books 1-4 (The David Wolf Series Box Set) - The David Wolf Mystery Thriller Series

Review:The characters were believable and the stories compelling enough that I read straight through in a few days. The only thing that bothered me were the over-the-top physical descriptions of all the women. Almost embarrassingly silly in the age of #MeToo. Read more

A true child abuse story (Pischke Twins Book 1) - Where Children Run

Review:I've read many similar books of child abuse but have never written a review for one. This is a heart wrenching story and will leave you in tears. I couldn't get enough of this book in the sense that I truly started loving David and Dennis and prayed for their safety. Read more

Lumberjanes Vol. 1
Lumberjanes Vol. 1

Review:The illustrations are cute, and the way they don't cuss is charming in a Fantastic Mr. Fox way, but as a whole it fell flat for me. I think I would have been a big fan if I read this at age 12, but it just didn't hold my attention or excitement as an adult. Read more

Track Animals—and Other Forgotten Skills - Use Outdoor Clues to Find Your Way

Review:Love this book. Can't find a single page that's not interesting. This is a resource book so easy to read & author describes things simply so reader follows along without a glitch. Love this book & his "How to Read Water" book also. Hope to buy more over time for each grandson. My son who is 26 and an outdoorsman type says he never wants to lose this book, it's a keeper. Thank you also for the price being affordable. Read more

From the Ashes (Ravenwood Mysteries Book 1)
From the Ashes (Ravenwood Mysteries Book 1)

Review:A good detective story. Relatable characters. The setting is 1900 San Francisco and Isabelle (Bel) is a strong female protagonist. The plot has lots of surprises and the backfill history is done well. I hope Flynn continues the series with Detective Riot and Bel. Read more

And Then You Loved Me
And Then You Loved Me

Review:I have read most of Ms. Cooper's books and I found this latest to be a bit different from all the others. While it is a "modern" romance, the main character, Becca, belongs to a somewhat fundamental Christian sect and this influence all her decisions in the book. I am not a fan of the Christian romance category but I wouldn't put this in that genre. Her faith is essential to understanding her character (however, it did get in the way a bit for me at the end). I don't want to give anything away b... Read more
