I picked up this book on Kindle Unlimited because it is set in Alaska, and I was curious to see how the author would portray The Great Land. The characters and plot lacked development. The voice seemed to lack maturity or depth. The pace was rushed. I don't intend to read any other books by Wendy Meadows. This one left me cold.

Wendy, you really pulled me in to this one. Loved it, I couldn't put it down. I was really scared at the beginning.
You must read this book, by the sounds of it there will be another one to follow. I can't wait to start it!!
