When I first started reading this book, I was sure it was your typical older man, younger inexperienced woman romance. I did not expect the kink that went on between Julia and Brad and I was left fanning myself after some pretty hot scenes. It was a well written book that had me hooked quite quickly and anxious to read the next book in the series.

The sample of this book grabed my attention and I immediately purchased it and didn't put it down until I was finished! I'm one of those people that don't care about spelling errors or inconsistencies I just want a good story that leaves me wanting more and this book did it for me. Unlike many of the erotica books I have read you actually get to know and understand the characters in this book. Brad and Julia are not instantly in love and then having crazy sex, the plot actually develops. I hope to read more from this author and I am looking forward to the sequel!

Read this review. I have some key points to make. 1. Get over the cover. It is meant to grab you attention. "Don't judge a book by it's cover" and all that. It might seem a bit vulgar, but the book is tastefully written. 2. The main female character doesn't fall in love, lose her independence, or brain cell upon meeting the main male character. (Let's face it...most book have the female ready to compromise their views in the first 8 chapters.) 3. The conversations between the main characters are brutally honest, straight forward, and refreshing. 4. Author does a good job of expressing everyone's point of view and wraps up the book, plus leaves you wanting more. 5. I don't like sequel books, nevertheless, I am waiting not so patiently for the sequel. Not a 5 star rating, only because of my personal hang ups with sequels.

I believe the author portrayed the male character perfectly. BDSM, swingers, etc., should be strong, dominate, arrogant, knowledgeable, unapologetic, and emotionally stable. No career woman (who is into that lifestyle) will entrust her reputation to a man who is lacking any of the above named characteristics, even if those characteristic labels him a jerk. I read the book in a day. It is worth the investment.

i started off reading this and wishing it would pick up a little faster. i wanted to be introduced to brad sooner than i was. however Torre did an amazing job of building the characters and creating an emotional connection to them.

I was often at odds at how to deal with brad. Don't get me wrong he did leave me feeling hot and steamy but i was extremely disappointed when reading the seen with him in the "gentleman's club". he can be a huge ass sometimes but i give him that he was mostly always honest with her.

The sex seens in this book are not for the light hearted! How ever you might learn a thing or two! i think there was just enough sex mixed with plot here to keep me interested. Over all i found this book fantastic and i am waiting on the edge of my seat for book 2!

The main character, Brad takes a little getting used to. You are not sure if you should like him or not. But soon enough the decision is made. This book was hot, hot hot! I loved the story and loved the writing. Great first book in the series and loved the possibility of where the story will go in books 2 and 3. I highly recommend this one! 4.5 stars!

This is one book I would definitely buy the paperback in. It's an unusual type of thing brad is into, far from what I've been reading. But, I loved it all the same. I can't wait to read the next one. I am absolutely in love with Julia's feisty attitude and the way she gives it to brad. I love that in a book. I would definitely recommend this!!!

Brad, Brad, Brad... Tsk, tsk. 100% bad boy. Yes, I loved his character. Julia not so much. Her behavioral development/growth was a bit unrealistic seeing how she started out barely experienced. I had no idea there's more to come. Sadly, I read the Reviews of the following books & decided I couldn't take any more of this.

I must say the cover this book blends sexual exploits, innocence and attraction perfectly. The narration of the lead character, Julia, feels authentic and the reader gets drawn into Torre's written world. The older lover, De Luca, is an interesting set of contradictions and Torre lets the reader see his vunerability and strength. I personally can't wait for the next book, this series has genuinely gained my interest.

Once I started Blindfolded Innocence I could not stop until i finished! There is great chemistry between Brad and Julia and I like how Julia isnt a shy and weak character. As a kid when your were told not to do something or stay away from it of course all that did was make you more interested and curios which is what happens when Julia keeps getting warned about Brad. There are times when Brad pisses you off but you still cant help but love him. I can not wait to see what happens with them in the next book!

The story is unexpected Julia is complex. She just wants plans to do a good job during her internship and get a good recommendation to law school. When you meet her friends you learn she has a fun side too. Brad is the guy she has to stay away from. He makes that very difficult he is determined to spend time with her. That is where the fun begins. Love a book that makes you laugh out loud and is very sexy. Can't wait for the next chapter .

I have mixed feelings about this book. I really liked parts of it but too much of it just didn't work for me. I love the erotic angle of it but there wasn't enough of a connection with Brad and Julia for it to work for me. I am not even sure why he would even be with her. He doesn't seem barely interested in her and then wants to be a swinging couple? What?? I also found it hard to follow when Julia wants to stay away from him at every turn and then makes all the first moves on him. She goes from being a naïve person who has never had an orgasm with her other two lovers to having a lesbian encounter with a stripper in front of a bar full of people..What??? He never even has an orgasm during the only two sexual encounters he has with her in the book and then wants to be a couple. Too all over the place for me. I read ahead to see what the next one is like and I think I will pass. I love the hot book just as much as the next person but for the sex to be really good there has to be something between the characters and I just did not feel that here. If you want to read a good ménage book you should try The Satin Sash by Red Garnier. That one is smoking hot and you can really feel the love between the characters.

After reading so many great reviews, I decided to try it. Am really, really glad I did. The book was a bit of a roller coaster ride of emotions. I liked Julia throughout, but couldn't decide if I loved or hated Brad. He was definately a bit of an ego-maniac, but apparently he had a lot to be egotistical about. He is gorgeous, rich, smart, witty and of course, he's very sensual/erotic. It seems things in their relationship are headed in the right direction until about halfway through the book it sort of collapses and I couldn't see how they would get back on track. Well, they struggle through some time apart and then things take a quick and unexpected turn of events. When I say that you will not see it coming, it's an understatement, because the author's so called "elephant in the room" enters so late in the story, that you will be surprised. It also sets off a new set of events and discovery between Brad and Julia that wrapped up nicely. However, there is definately the need for me to be updated on the progress in the sequel that I hope to not have to wait of long for. Great characters, great story. If you like a story that may appear at first to be typical, that turns to something unexpected and a story where the sex scenes are about as steamy as it gets, then indulge and enjoy this book. Oh, by the way, I decided I do love Brad in the end....LOL

The author teases with hints of what will happen, giving away hints of an upcoming submissive or menage relationship. It's true that the lead male is a sex-crazed man whore, but you have to read through the whole story (some lengthy details in the middle of the book are skip-worthy which is why I gave it 4 and not 5 stars) to understand his motives.

I can't WAIT to read the sequel.

Strong female lead, though young. Interesting twist on the office romance...very sexual but completely believable based on the characters in this story and the setting for the basis of this relationship-Las Vegas. Great series and I highly recommend the other 2 books out in this series. I am off to look for more books by this author.

Wow. I love Alessandra's writing style I have read a lot of books from her and this one is excellently different. I liked Julia and Brass chemistry the way they saw relationships so different but yet they were still drawn to each other. I cannot wait to read book 2.

I found this whole series an erotic mystery. From the moment that Brad and Julia met to the last page of the trilogy I was glued to the book. The constant turn of events and their struggle to keep it together among a family trying to deny them that right. Loved this trilogy and would highly recommend it.

I bought this book yesterday and really didn't know what to expect. It kept me guessing, not predictable at all, and left me wanting more. You need to be open minded when reading this book, I can see how some people might take it the wrong way and get offended. But I'm over 30, with 2 kids, and was married. I can totally understand the chances and the risk, the so call heroine Julia takes with Brad. I think the sequel is going to be interesting, and the author can either make it/break it for me. Without giving much away, the lifestyle Julia chooses is ok for a while but let's see what happens in the next book. Highly recommended.

A refreshing new writer! Welcome to the world of exotic romance Alessandra! I LOVED this story. When I first downloaded it, I wasn't sure what to expect, but let me tell you...The story was so good, yummy good. I would re-read it again and I plan too before the second part is released. Yes, I loved 50 Shades, Bared to You, Gabriel's Rapture, and so forth, but I really loved this female character, Julia. She is someone any female can connect with. She reminded me of a person I could easily become friends with. She didn't portray a weak-damaged female, and she had a fantastic sense of humor. Now Brad, the male character is sexy as hell, but a bastard! During the story you love him and hate him. One minute you're routing for him and the next you want Julia to run in the other direction. The story flowed wonderfully and kept me wanting to read more. I have to say the ending shocked me (in a good way.) Without giving it away, this ending was not what I was prepared for...I can't wait for the next release!

First off I am so sick of writers/reviewers/people in general, comparing everything erotic to `50 Shades of Grey'- while there is something to be said about the popularity of the `Shades' trilogy, not every book that deals with taboo sexuality is in the same realm. I try to look at books as individual people and judge them without bias and if they remind me of another book I may mention it for perspective- but I refuse to rank an apple based upon an orange. So here is my take on `Blindfolded Innocence'.

The story premise is simple enough- an intern works at a law firm and is constantly told to stay away from the `bad boy' of the building, Dean De Luca. Julia (the intern) comes across as determined, intelligent and strong; just not strong enough to resist De Luca and so lust ensues and we are taken along for the ride of their so called relationship.

There are really no real plot surprises; it is the typical big bad wolf gets the lamb. A trip to Las Vegas takes a raunchy turn and left me feeling dirty. I mean I am all for exploring, but what Dean does in the strip club was just over the top and I actually liked him in the book; when this happened I questioned my sanity. After this romp and his confession, I personally found De Luca repugnant for his sexual appetite and blatant inability to find fault in his actions. There is eventual remorce, but I just thought whatever buddy you are too much.

I liked the Julia was not inhibited, in a sense she was sexuality honest- about her feelings and eventually what she wanted. Julia actively participated in her descent into De Luca's world- which was refreshing, she wanted to see what else was out there and she did not only see it, but she experienced it to the fullest. Even though her actions seemed off the mark (even with the alcohol involved) it helped to remember that she is young and trying to figure out who she really is- I did like that about her. Not everyone likes vanilla and that was the point of this book: to write that everyone is different and enjoys certain fantasies and while the reader may not agree, the escape into some elses life in literature is nice. It works the imagination for sure.

The reasoning behind De Luca being a bad boy was as cliqued as they come. I mean it is understandable, but I wanted something a little bit more in the office department since so much time is spent there. The ending left me excited about the next phase in the story-

This was a different storyline from what I normally read. A friend recommended this series to me. The subject matter is not something I generally like to read about (FF. MMF ) but it was handled tastefully. I enjoyed the author's writing style. And I will read the other books in this series.

I have been looking for a great erotic book since finishing the FSoG trilogy. This book did not disappoint. I couldn't put it down and finished it in one day. It's hot and steamy without being overly sleazy. This book does for threesomes what FSoG did for BDSM. Cannot wait for the sequel!!

LOVED this book! Read it in a day! Great tension, great characters with wit and real life personality! I read tons of BDSM erotica and though this is not really that, it IS very sexy. Best of all it is a well crafted story despite the assortment of grammar issues and the auto corrected words that were close but no cigar.

I really liked getting a taste of Brad DeLuca! This steamy romance has a little bit different plot twist than I was expecting. I do love Brad and Julia together. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

For anyone who likes a fast pace book, read these one. When I finished it I couldn't wait to start the next one. It was exiting and Julia was great with her cocky attitude. This is a must read trilogy. These are my first books I've read from this author and I will be reading more . Great job to Alessandra Torre

This book has come up on my suggested reading for a while and I kept avoiding it, assuming by the cover it was another quickie BDSM read. I was so wrong and so glad I finally purchased it. My kindle library waffles between romance and erotica, I read romance for better stories and characters and erotica for better sex. This has both, in spades. The main character, albeit inexperienced is smart, funny and accepts her sexuality in a believable manner at a believable pace. The only plus of not reading it sooner it not having to wait as long for the sequel. Can not wait for more from this author.

This book will throw you straight into the world of feelings! It will leave you frustrated along side Julia. You'll laugh at her never ending attitude, and absolutely love her inner self. Brad will consume you in all ways possible, and leave you hanging when you need him to step up the most ;). Last, but definitely not least.. you'll fall in love with De' Luca!

Some may say that this first leg of the book series is all typical lovey-dovey with a absurd twist to it. I'll say it's different. In all the most amazing ways. I've never read anything like it, and I'm MORE than looking forward to continuing the trilogy.

I got the book for pure curiosity (blame the cover), wanting to see if the book is another version of FSG.... but is not. The thing that I liked about "Blindfolded Innocence" is the fact that the male character knows what he wants and speaks his mind, sparing all the pity and shades. The other thing of this book is the ability of the author in creating that feeling of wanting to know what will happen on the next page and the page after that, and arriving at the end of the book with wanting more.

Don't get me wrong, I like FSG but if you want a break from the tormented Mr.Grey, then you will love this book.

Bring on the second book!

The characters are well developed and the story line is very interesting. I have to agree with other reviews...do not let the cover deceive you. This book is well written and your heart rate will surely increase as you become captivated by what happens to Julia.

Entertaining well plotted stories. Absolutely loved all three books. Brad wasn't overbearing and Julia was a sweet girl but showed gumption and backbone from the start. I think these three are absolutely better than the Shades books.

This book could have been amazing, but it fell flat. It took too long to get into the real story and then it felt like the book ended as soon as it was good. I still enjoyed the read, but it's not in the "must read again" pile.

Great new author !!! I hate to love rich, dominating, gorgeous men. But I do. Brad is a PIG. But at the same time I find myself addicted to him. I want him. I want him and Julia together as long as she can handle it. Julia is smart and funny and very sexual. I can't wait to see what happens in the sequel. Hot read!

I just finished reading another one of Alessandra Torre's books in which Brad DeLuca's character played a small role as a divorce attorney. Let me clarify, his role may have been small but his presence was massive. I had to keep reminding myself who the main character was. To avoid spoilers, I usually wait until after finishing a book to read reviews and that's when I realized there is a whole series dedicated to DeLuca. Needless to say, I jumped right on him...um, I mean the books. I jumped right on his books. Yeah.

Brad DeLuca is a bit lost in his life currently but he is simultaneously always in control if that makes sense. He loves women, or rather he loves passing the time with sex, and when young newbie intern Julia enters his line of sight, he goes in for the kill. But fresh-faced, pencil skirt Julia has a few surprises. She is a challenge if there ever was one. She doesn't just fall at his feet like most women seem to. But predictably, that just makes him chase her more. After all is said and done, Blindfolded Innocence offers dominant characters, clashing personalities, a forbidden office romance, plenty of erotic satisfaction, a bit of kink, and one hell of a Las Vegas scene. Those who have read this book will know exactly which scene I'm talking about. This was a great book that hit me when I was in the perfect mood for it. I one-clicked the rest of the series and I'm about to gobble them up like Thanksgiving dinner! Check it out!!

My favorite quote:
"The act of sex is healthy, normal, God-given. It's the emotions and entitlement that everyone attaches to it that is harmful."

Alessandra Torre's Innocence trilogy includes the following installments as of December 2016:
#1-Blindfolded Innocence
#1.5-The Diary of Brad De Luca
#2-Masked Innocence
#3-End of the Innocence

I liked very much that the main character has some sass and backbone. I liked all the characters very much and would love a sequel to this book.... with all the 50 shades type books out there this one is interesting in it's own right and holds it's own against them.

I just finished Blindfolded Innocence after a rec from a GR friend. At first I wasn't too sure how the book would flow because it seemed to have a lot going on. But the author pulled it off! Everything flowed and pulled together. Believable storyline, hot as heck alpha male. I liked the fact that he wasn't the average H (Black hair with piercing blue eyes and lean body) gets tired after a while. Also, the fact that he was "mature" was a nice change. The h was annoying me for a while, but then redeemed herself (wont spoil it by saying which scene did it for me). So all in all I think this was a great start. Looking forward to the sequel :-)
