Can Alessandra Torre write a bad book? I seriously don’t think so. She knocks it out of the park again with Do Not Disturb, the second book in Deanna Madden’s story.

I love dangerous Deanna’s vixen killer with an angel’s face character. She is brilliant, brazen and anything but benign. I have been swept up in her story since the first book, waiting eagerly to find out what could possibly happen next. Boy, did I ever get a thrill ride. I have so many theories as to what is going on with her, but I don’t want to share them here as they could be called spoilers. All I can say is that I truly believe that all things are not as they seem.

The character of Jeremy is important to the story not only as Deanna’s love interest but as the person that grounds her. He unleashes Deanna’s humanity. She believes that she has a black soul; I disagree. Jeremy brings out her light. It may be buried deep, but it is there.

If you have not experienced Alessandra Torre’s books, do yourself the biggest favor and pick one up immediately. Buckle in and hang on for one hell of a ride….

If THE GIRL IN 6E flexed my reading muscles, DO NOT DISTURB pushed some of my limits. I shouldn’t have been ok with some of the things that take place in this book. I wanted to look away at times. But instead, I was completely glued to the pages and had to read more to find out how it would all turn out. Call it morbid fascination, but it’s great entertainment!

That being said, the hunter becomes the hunted in this book. Deanna may be a tough bitch but there are other predators out there. And as her confidence grows and she tries to be more “human” now that she has a boyfriend, life catches up with her and who she is has to come back to play.

This book has a bit of everything. Voyeurism, sex (of the icky kind as well as the hot kind), obsessive friends, explosions, body disposals and some good ol’ torture. It is not for the faint of heart, and I can’t help but repeat this over and over. Deanna is the female version of Dexter, just not quite as functional in society as he was just yet. Here’s to hoping we can get there!

I don’t want to spoil what happens in the book because it’s best savored one page at a time, but I was especially taken with Deanna. With her badass attitude and her naivete at times. It was nice to see her a little vulnerable. It was also necessary to see her break down for those she cares for. As much as she has a bad side, this book goes a long way in proving she’s got good and we can try to identify with her in some ways.

Maybe some of the ways other characters in the book saw her in DO NOT DISTURB is not ideal, and things might be changed in their relationships. But as long as you’re going in with a strong stomach and prepared to be shocked a couple of times, then you’re good to go on that one!

The ending…. well, the ending was a bit far-fetched and maybe not my favorite part of the story. But after reading the authors note I can only say I’m happier with the ending we got than the one she originally planned!

If you haven’t read this series, then I recommend you give it a try. I’m shockingly hooked! There is just something about Deanna Madden that I disturbingly love, I just can’t help it. I don’t think this is for everyone, and you have to let the characters take over instead of your thought process at times, but I find it immensely entertaining and can’t wait to read more dark reads like this from Ms. Torre.

The second Deanna Madden novel Do Not Disturb picks up a few weeks after The Girl in 6E ends story-wise. Having tasted freedom and the possibility of normalcy with a budding relationship with Jeremy, her UPS delivery guy, Deanna takes to experimenting with leaving her apartment on short jaunts with her new beau. The dilemma of the first book is left behind, rarely touched upon directly, mentioned mostly in passing. This second book works well as a standalone in that you needn’t read the first book to connect with and understand Deanna Madden.
Do Not Disturb gives Deanna a new adversary to confront - a new opportunity to let her inner demons loose and on her home turf. What she doesn’t expect is the involvement of her hacker friend/client Mike or her new beau’s life being put at risk.
I enjoyed this second book, grateful for a chance to reunite with one of the most unique characters ever written into existence. Compelling and as equally spellbinding as its predecessor in the series, Do Not Disturb is a page turner that keeps you on the edge of your seat, nose buried in the pages (or glued to the Kindle screen).
I was slightly disappointed with how seemingly easily and quickly Deanna deals with the new dilemma and foe but I think Torre did this intentionally. This second book explores more of Deanna’s relationships with the people outside of her apartment and immediate world, giving us even more hope for her that she might achieve stasis, that somehow the presence of love within her life might give her the means to overcome her mental disorder and deliver her some personal redemption. Alas, Deanna seems fated to reach her happy ending in a fashion much more suited to her darker side but the entire book is written with a refreshing undercurrent of hope and potential. It’s a strange dichotomy in wishing for Deanna to get even one step closer to mental wholeness along with the freedom of movement and life her disorder denies her yet also celebrate her descent into murderous joy. Torre’s writing successfully drags the reader back and forth between the two ends of the spectrum even as Deanna bounces back and forth in her inner struggles.
Readers who fell in love with The Girl in 6E will not be disappointed with Do Not Disturb. With such a fantastic follow up I can only wait with baited anticipation for the next volume in the series. What or who will Deanna Madden face next? Will she and Jeremy make the long haul, love being her saving grace, or will the madness trump all? I suppose only time will tell!
Please Allessandra, don’t make us wait too long in finding out!

Shel: I thought I was prepared for DO NOT DISTURB but I really don't think I was. I think it's one of Alessandra Torre's darkest novels yet. AT quickly slips you in the mind of Deanna--killer, friend, lover, and cam-girl extraordinaire and it's interesting and disturbing. We get a bird's eye view of her dealing with her murderous tendencies as she puts herself or, at times, finds herself in new and uncontrollable situations.

Court: You know what? I thought I was too...but, alas I was not. Though I have spent the better part of the last 3 hours devouring this book. And it was intense, satisfying, insane, and the biggest roller coaster ride of emotions I have went on with a book in a while. I suspect that most of you won't have a clue what you're getting into...especially with it being full of eroticism that will make you cringe and blush and probably hot at the same time (AT has a way of pulling that out of you) and at the same time...it is seriously twisted thriller that will make you want to live in a bubble. Or it does me. Whew. Carry on

Shel: On the surface you don't want to like Deanna because her strong desires to kill are so foreign and strange and graphic but at the same time you feel for her because you know it's something she's fighting so hard to overcome. You know that she wants to be 'good' and not harm anyone but she doesn't seem to know how to turn her compulsions off. It's with these conflicted feelings that you watch her careful control unravel..and unravel it does. Without going into spoiler details, know that this book is not for the delicate minded--her fantasies and reality become more horrific as the novel progresses and when we get to THE PART where it all goes to (edit) in a hand basket, it's the stuff horror movies are made of. Court: It is. It is brilliant. A.R. Torre's writing is flawless in how she sets the pace and tone at a breakneck speed, and you're on the train, and you know it's about to go over the edge of the cliff...and you can't and won't stop it. Why? Because she won't let you. Deanna will insert her claws into you...and not let go. And that is exactly where she wants you...and she'll smile while doing it.

Shel: I know some people will not like Deanna; they'll hate her and find her unforgiveable. I found I felt incredibly sorry for her. I hate that her therapy isn't helping (...and I'm the only one who thinks that Derek is SKETCHY? hmmmm--I hope that is addressed in book 3); I hate that she feels so alone and unable to really have people in her life who she can trust; and I hate that she has to do some pretty (edit) things and will inevitably have to live with her decisions.
Even with all of the grimness of this novel, there were definitely some bright spots. Knowing that Mike and Jeremy supported and adored her and were looking out for her definitely gave some relief to some of those tougher chapters. Also seeing Deanna take some risks and try some new things was nerve wracking and interesting. I also loved see her claim her inner (edit) when she needed too--I love (edit) women. Court: She is a (edit) at heart...and psycho and crazy, and above all, damaged. If I am wrong in still rooting for her as the heroine of this love story, then I don't want to be right. I was rooting also for some unexpected players in this (definitely cannot expand upon that, but I hope you notice some broadening of horizons in the department of people she talks to regularly). Even though there are some "whoa" things that will seriously keep you flipping the pages at warp speed, there is some funny times, some great moments for my techy at heart self, and I loved it. It's dark though. So, watch out for that.

Shel: AT definitely left a lot of questions to be answered about D+J, the doctor, and Mike (and Alaska guy) and with a third book slated for this series, I am curious to see how she tackles these things. Court: Girl, it can't come out soon enough! But no pressure...right? Because it's still being written.

Hmmm, this was one very interesting read!

I’ve read this while I’m sick so seriously, everything feels magnified. And for me to be glued to this, despite headaches and chills, that alone for me says how AT got me by the tenterhooks.

Deanna and Jeremy are now “a couple”, well, to the extent that Deanna’s condition will allow them. Deanna continues with her job, trying to maintain how things were before but with Jeremy in the picture more, new feelings and considerations are involved. Small concessions started happening, changes to daily routine started occurring, and new possibilities are being thought of. However, there’s no denying that Deanna is still the Deanna that she is.

New characters are introduced, the most relevant being the one who crossed Deanna’s path by pure happenstance. Other old characters resurfaced, like the doctor and Mike. I liked that I got to know Mike more, yes, despite what’s happened. The doctor is still just kinda’ on the peripheral but I’m sensing he will play an even bigger role in the 3rd book, maybe?

I do like that I got a bit more of Jeremy. He’s got the right temperament and attitude, just what Deanna needs. I really like him, seeing how deeply he’s starting to feel for Deanna, but I don’t think he had the chance to really shine here. Again, perhaps he will in the 3rd book?

But guess who really shone here? Yup, Deanna. I think so anyways. Not to glorify violence, but I think AT taking me in once again into Deanna’s inner sanctum allowed me to understand her better. Yes, it is like being in the head of Dexter, or I'd say even the characters in The Following, but not as creepy O.o “Humanizing” someone like Deanna in reality is one thing but since this is fiction, thank god, I got to appreciate her strength, her wit, and any emotions she has for Jeremy. I loved how she names strangers. I loved the joy she got about the most mundane things. I loved her hesitations, her concerns, and her glee, that I felt her vindication. How about that!

As always, just like with any AT’s work, it’s best to go in blind. And personally, I think this has gotten even better than The Girl in 6E, so I say just dive in!

There is something about a disturbed character that is inherently appealing to me. No, I am not crazy, but I do have a dark side that enjoys an occasional good read. DO NOT DISTURB is the sequel to THE GIRL IN 6E and all I can say is it is even better than 6E.

If you have not read 6E, STOP and don't read the rest of this review. RUN, don't walk, and buy 6E right away. Then, you will be ready to read DO NOT DISTURB and this review. One of the marvelous joys of reading A.R.Torre's books is the element of surprise and anticipation. She has the most creative twists to her plot lines... don't deny yourself this treat.

DND is everything you would expect from this author and more. If you have a girl who fantasizes about murder, while locked up in an apartment, and you let her out... what can you expect? The answer is in this book and will surprise you.

In this installment of Deanna's life, she is up against a disgruntled customer who will stop at nothing to have her. He is a convicted rapist with all the money and influence to make things happen. Is he a match for Deanna? Read and you will see all impossibilities and Deanna's needs are up for grabs. Ha!

As always, the writing is superb. These characters will fascinate you as well as haunt you. Need I say it? I need one more sequel to this! I want to know more about Mike, a confrontation maybe? I want Jeremy to be enlightened and make his final choice! I want Deanna to face her fears and urges and either win or accept the final outcome to her illness. I also want to meet Dr. Derek! Is he a stud? Or is his voice his best feature? Come on, Alessandra! Pretty please?

A.R. Torre returns with a smashing, strong psychological suspense thriller follow-up, with the famous (Deanna Madden #2) DO NOT DISTURB, the girl who gets locked in each night to keep from killing.

After reading THE GIRL IN 6E, (Deanna Madden #1), it was such a shocking, chilling and freaky book, "like no other", was blown away, and could not wait to see where the author was going to take the relationship between Deanna and Jeremy, the UPS guy.

First, let me begin by saying, "I am love with the covers". SWOON. Being in the media business, love the branding, so striking. Hoping they carry out the theme with Book #3, If You Dare, coming Nov, 2015. Cover has not been released as of this date.

Second, you HAVE to read The Girl in 6E prior to reading Do Not Disturb. Otherwise you will not know the background and will not be able to appreciate the characters and their history-- Deanna, Jeremy, Mike, and Simon. With both books, I listened to the audio, which really pumps up the intensity and suspense– highly recommend. Jorjeana Marie delivers a nice performance.

Third, I am not an erotica or romance fan; however, I love psychological and crime thrillers- fans of this genre will be in love; dark, edgy, and suspenseful. Some say to write erotica, just babble on with the nasty, lots of sex, and the down and dirty. This is quite the opposite. Both these books are very well written; Torre, gets into her character’s heads, their emotions, and thoughts, especially with the second book, now that Deanne is breaking out of her shell, testing herself, back into the real world, little by little. I enjoy Deanne’s attitude (except she was a little hard on Mike, this time). Thank you A.R. Torre for the revision of your ending to spare those we love.

We pick up with Deanna from book one. She has a fear of human interaction, and an obsession with murder. Her mother killed her entire family and committed suicide. Her name was attached, and she inherited some traits from her mom, her homicidal tendencies. She now stays away from people, and changed her name. Her inner demons have driven her inside these walls for the last three years, and she works for Sexnow.com and Cams.com. She has everything delivered, makes good money, and never leaves her apartment, until now.

She is a cybersex killer who stays locked in her apartment to keep from unleashing her killer instinct. She is falling in love with Jeremy, the UPS delivery guy (he is a doll and so patient with her). She still is a virgin and they have no had sex. Now she is leaving her apartment and buying a car. Mike her computer genius guy works hard to keep the bad clients away by being her watchdog. Simon is there every night to make sure she is locked in.

One of her new clients, a former investment banker bad guy gets out of jail on probation, with counts of rape, among other things. He wants sex and he is not nice. When he dials in to her website for cybersex, he is controlling and demanding and Deanne will not tolerate a lack of respect. This guy is out for revenge and learns more about her, and those close to her. He is going to make her pay.

For the first time she has to worry about two other lives, and it is now more than just herself. Slowly her walls start to break. However, will this guy cause her to kill again to protect those she loves and cares for. We have to wait and see what will happen next….Is love better, and stronger than her affliction, and could it possibly be her salvation?

I still cannot help but think about the UPS guy, as my single son was a driver for UPS for about 12 years, and could see him in this situation. Cannot wait for #3 If You Dare - A tantalizing "much talked about"series; Torre does not disappoint!

Enjoyed Torre's personal note at the end of the audio, about the writing of the series.

A.R. Torre did it again... Another heart racing read that was packed with sexy and suspense.

Do Not Disturb continues where the first book left off. Deanna is feeling different though... Almost, free. She starts pushing the limits and even gives in to temptation and leaves the apartment. Her doctor doesn't think it's a good idea, but hell what does he know... When she meets a new customer that pushes the limits, her world begins to slowly turn upside down. He wants to meet in person and she wants nothing to do with it. What she doesn't know is Marcus is dangerous and doesn't take no very well. He sets out to uncover all of Deanna's secrets and in the end comes face to face with the devil herself.

Gosh, this is my go-to Author for obvious reasons. Her writing is raw and intense. It captures a reader's attention and slowly and intricately weaves into their mind.... consuming and controlling with dark erotic words. I loved this book so much. While it was similar to book one, it brought a unique twist that made you feel like you were meeting Deanna for the first time. She was different in this book... Still a bad ass, but also a tad softer in a hard way? If that makes any sense... Her attitude was still dark, but her feelings were gray. Jeremy has rooted in her heart and even her hacker seems to pull out emotion. It really added to her character and made me love her even more.

Now, let me say erotica is not my preferred genre, but A.R. knows how to write sex scenes that make us think. Each seductive word is meant to manipulate. If I could... I would unread this series just so I could start it again for the first time. It was truly that good!

Highly recommend it to all readers!

To start, I don’t recommend reading Do Not Disturb without first reading The Girl in 6E. You will need to know all the info from The Girl in 6E to fully understand how all the characters fit into this story. Both books are Deanna’s story. And it is quite a doozy! The girl is whack!! Be warned, this is not a romance story. Maybe a little romance, but nothing like my usual books. I guess you would consider it more of a survival story….maybe a mystery. Heck if I know!!! Maybe just some crazy stuff! LOL!! But it’s very entertaining. How can a story about a homicidal cam girl who locks herself in her apartment not be entertaining….see!!! But, to be honest, I’m not sure Deanna is as homicidal as she thinks she is. But that’s just my opinion of her. She’s just a tad weird. LOL!

“It is funny how a mind works. Three minutes takes me from killing to lusting to debating.”

Then we have Jeremy, what is he thinking?!? And how in the world can he be in love with Deanna. That is one aspect of this story that puzzles me. But hey, good for him. And Mike…I still have so many unanswered questions about Mike. I think I need more about him.

“If you love me, you need to let me go right now. Trust in me, in us, and go home.”

This author writes some awesome books. They are always very intriguing and different…and I love that!! To be perfectly honest, I enjoyed The Girl in 6E more than Do Not Disturb, but still loved seeing how life was treating the very fascinating Deanna ;)

Definitely put these two books on your to read list, and let me know your thoughts on this one of a kind girl!!

Review for Do Not Disturb by AR Torre

Do Not Disturb by AR Torre is the follow up to Girl in 6E, it could be read as a stand-alone, but if you want to really get inside the character’s heads I would suggest that you read Girl in 6E first. I loved every minute of this book. The twists and turns will keep you glued to your Kindle from page one to done.

Just wow. The way Torre spins the tale of a self-contained killer is pure insanity. The way Deanna rationalizes her actions and her desires to leave her self-appointed prison almost seems plausible. Like she can overcome her need to kill, but we all know things can’t be that easy.

“Star light. Star bright.
First star I see tonight.
I wish I may, wish I might.
Not kill those whom my heart holds tight.”

Jeremy has fallen for a killer. He knows it. She knows it. It doesn’t stop them from starting a relationship — from falling in love. When one of her clients becomes obsessed and Deanna becomes his target he just might become the prey instead of the predator.

I cannot get enough of this series. It’s riveting, intense, breathtaking, and honest in the rawest sense of the word. If you like mystery and suspense with a dose of good old fashioned romance twisted into something wholly new then this book is 100% for you. Five stars and four wet panties.

If you enjoy dark novels, if you enjoyed 'The Girl in 6E', then you are in for a treat. 'Do Not Disturb' is dark, dangerous and disturbing. Can a women with an infliction to kill find love without harming her partner?

Deanna Madden is on lock-up every night, however she has starts to venturing out on her own. She takes baby steps into the real world, fighting her need to kill. Deanna is pursued by her UPS deliverer, Jeremy Bryant. They develop a relationship, where Jeremy accepts Deanna's flaws without prying into her secrets.

Deanna continues to work for a webcam company. Unfortunately, one of her clients happens to be an egomaniac mental case. Yes, Marcus is seriously warped. It seems they both carry demons inside. The question is who is more cunning?

The story has many twists and turns, including a few suspenseful, cringe worthy moments. The pace starts off slow with the character and plot development. The character's tales are well intertwined. The second half is heart racing, blood pumping race to the end.

Deanna is strong, determined, woman. It is easy to become engrossed in her thoughts, albeit at times frighting and warped. Her determination drives her not to run and take matters into her own hands. Jeremy is patient, has a big heart and accepts Deanna at face value. He sees the good and that saying something. The story will continue in 'If You Dare' expected November 2015.

Wow! Alessandra Torre never disappoints! Do Not Disturb had me on the edge of my seat from the very beginning. I became intrigued with Deanna Madden in The Girl In 6E- wanted to know more about her. Here, in Do Not Disturb, I learn more about Deanna- her thoughts, her feelings and her fears. Yes, I said her fears. Deanna comes across as someone who doesn't want you to know she is actually afraid....at least that is the feeling I get from her. We got a taste of Jeremy Bryant in The Girl In 6E and I definitely wanted more of him. Jeremy is an amazing man who has a major soft spot for Deanna. I fell for Jeremy fast. His patience, his kindness and his love for Deanna are what make him so special.
Do Not Disturb is a book full of suspense, thrill, romance and even death. Deanna wants to be "normal," but at what cost? Do Not Disturb is a MUST READ!

Deanna Madden is one of my favorite lead stars in an Alessandra Torre/A.R. Torre books.
We take a peek on how Deanna tries to live a normal life after her self-imposed imprisonment in her apartment for 3 years. She's taking baby steps to venture to the outside world which is always a challenge for someone like her.
The men in her life…
Jeremy... this man loves her unconditionally. He accepted Deanna, no ifs or buts. Steamy love scenes between these two are something to look out for.
Mike... the computer hacker whom Deanna considers her only friend. Their friendship will be tested here and why Mike never let Deanna see him.
Marcus...this guy who want to meet Deanna in person. And he'll do anything and everything just to get hold of her.

This book is one hell of a ride, the suspense of what's going to happen next will keep you at the edge of your seat. Because you'll never know what's on the mind of a Deanna Madden and on how she will handle things her own way.

Kudos to A.R. Torre for writing another book whose story will stay with you after finishing it.

Once again Alessandra Torre has captivated me with her unique characters, thrilling story and left me wanting more. Do Not Disturb is the eagerly awaited second book in the Deanna Madden series and just like The Girl in 6E, DND is dark, sexy, intense, thrilling and falls into the "Icouldnotputitdown!" category. I found myself grinding my teeth in anger when I had to put it down to do my duties as a mother. I mean, do children really need to eat three times a day? Ha!

Deanna has tasted, smelled, felt and seen the outside, the real world, after three years of a self-induced lockdown. Now she craves more than blood, now she craves freedom, normalcy. But can she have the normal without the bloodlust? Will she win the battle with the voice inside her head? Do It...Blood...Kill...Now!

Book 2 has a little less camming, a lot more action, a budding romance, blood, death and betrayal. Suspenseful and bite your nails captivating till the very end! Torre is, now, definitely one of my go to authors!

I’ve been struggling with how to explain my feelings of this book. I’ll start by saying that Alessandra Torre is like a black widow spider. The way she weaves her web of words, you can’t help but get sucked in. Just when you think you have it all figured out, her writing changes direction, turning the plot and twisting it, making your heart race with anticipation and hanging onto every word, killing you with suspense.

I had not read The Girl in 6E, so I was unfamiliar with Deanna and her story. That didn’t matter though. Alessandra wrote just enough of the backstory for the reader to jump right in. At times I didn’t know whether to cry, cringe or turn the air on from the hotness. I’ve never read an erotic thriller, but this one made me love the genre.

If you want to sit on the edge of your seat, not be able to stop reading, and if you’re looking for a dark and twisted read, this one if definitely for you. I really hope that there is more to come in this series. I’d love to find out more.

Wow, talk about disturbing but you just can’t put it down!!! That is the only way to describe this book. I thought the first book made my mouth drop, I was wrong because the author did not disappoint when it came to book 2 in this series. I can almost guarantee you will be reading and more then once think how in the hell did she think to write this stuff!?!?! Because it is just that horrible but so good at the same time! Nail biting and sitting on the edge of your seat kind of read and who doesn’t love that?? The only complaint I have is the ending. I was expecting something different but it wasn’t horrible and still made me happy. So I don’t really know if you can call that a complaint! I give this book 5 stars.

When I heard that Alessandra Torre was writing a sequel to The Girl in 6E, I was surprised. Where could she take Deanna's story? Hadn't we already learned what we needed to learn about her? Wasn't she - somewhat - cured?

Turns out there is some place Torre could take our favorite would-be serial killer. And that place is exactly where she already went.

Look. I am an unrepentant fan of Alessandra Torre's. I mean ... hello? Brad De Luca? Torre has earned a permanent spot on my One-Click list based on Brad alone. I also like how she takes risks with storytelling. As I've said before, she makes us think differently about sex and sexuality, and she writes characters that help us see the myriad of ways that love and intimacy can look like.

Torre's last two books, though - Tight and this one - have felt flat to me.

In this case, I think Torre already told Deanna's story, and told it well, in The Girl in 6E. Deanna suffered an incomprehensible family tragedy and believes that she is destined to repeat the sins of her mother. Yet the very compulsion she fears she has - to murder - was rendered false in The Girl in 6E. Sure, Deanna killed, but she hardly felt victorious in doing so. Her sense of power did not come from the murder itself but more from the person whom she killed. Her reasons did not result from a need to kill but rather a need to remove the world of a particular vermin.

So when Deanna says - repeatedly - that she feels a need to kill, it rang false to me. We know - she knows - that she is not compelled to murder people. It's almost as if her reaction to what she did in the previous book were forgotten and obliterated in this one.

The story here focuses, again, on something that occurs during Deanna's 'camming.' She ticks off the wrong client, and he is determined to hunt her down. Poor bastard has no clue that the hot trick he sees online is loaded with weaponry and ready to kill.

Torre also continues Deanna's relationship with hot UPS guy Jeremy. He cares about her, deeply and completely, but is it enough? Can Jeremy's love alone overcome Deanna's urges?

I will admit that I skimmed parts of this - the parts that felt redundant - to get to the more interesting aspects of the story. Torre takes a shortcut or two in this installment, and between that and the sort of unnecessary aspect of continuing with Deanna's story, it adds up to being a disappointment.

My love of Torre remains strong, however, and I already look forward to her next book. If Tight and Do Not Disturb were not what I've come to expect from her, that's okay. I'm ready for what she brings next.

This book!! I sincerely think that this is Alessandra's absolute BEST story so far. (And that's big, because have you read her Innocence books?! Hellooooo Brad DeLuca. Marry me! Make babies with me!)

Ahem, anway.

This book! Freaking fantastic! It is dark in a very unique way. Deanna is so freaking fabulous. She's so messed up, but SO loveable and strangely relateable. (No, Mom. I am not a serial killer, okay? Gawd.)

I really wish that AT would write more in this genre. She's a wizard with her wit and words with these stories in a way that is absolutely captivating and consuming.

4.5 "Disturbing Justice" Stars! Perhaps psychologically the darkest story I have ever read. I literally had to pause reading this story at a number of crucial points, because I was just that affected. So please heed the warning. This book is not for everyone; but if you value originality in your romances and have an open mind, then I guarantee this will be one of the most mind blowing tales you could ever read.

Alessandra is an amazing author who never fails to deliver original plots and this book is no exception.

We have a Girl with a penchant for knives (and em blood), a geeky hacker, a mailman and a deliciously swoony psychiatrist. Between the lot of them, this non-stop story builds in suspense, throws a loop and then wraps you in a cocoon of gasps and blood rush.

Don't miss this series. Deanna is a bada**

OMG! I think I loved this book more then the first book! The mind it takes to write this book! I love it! And I love A.R. Torre! I found myself not being able to put this book down! I highly recommend this book as long as you are a lover of Dark stories! This one does not disappoint! 5 big stars!

I was curious as to what happened after Deanna and Jeremy's first date so I read this 2nd book in a trilogy. Sex was intrinsic to the story because of her occupation but I felt the author overdid it, perhaps an attempt of mimicking 50 Shades? Easy and quick read. On to book number 3.

I loved the journey that Deanna and Jeremy took in this sequel! I got to see a different side of Deanna but there was still the underlying darkness that kept the book edgy. I can't wait to read the third book!

A great continuation of The Girl in 6E following the same main character, just as dark and engaging while developing Deanna even more. I love her struggle between her intrinsic good nature and the psychopathic urges she has. Super interesting!
