First and foremost, I love Stylo Fantome stories! She is definitely an author I automatically 1-click, without even knowing what the book is about. That's exactly what I did with Neighbors! Holy crap, this book was unique and captivating and everything in between! I am such a fan of books that surprise you, don't go in the direction you think you're headed, Neighbors is one of those books! I won't spoil the story, but I highly recommend it. It does end with a cliffhanger, the only downside to Neighbors.

Terrible/weak heroine, douchebag alpha male, weak storyline and a cliff hanger! I was so excited when some of my favorite authors recommended this book and had to get it immediately. Wish I would have saved my money and read the reviews. This book was extremely hard to read and I basically skimmed the second half of the book just to say I finished it.

SPOILERS AHEAD

First, Tori is the worst friend/roommate ever. Tori and Katya have known each other since childhood so they should be at a place in their friendship where Katya accepts that Tori is a little wild (she does) and Tori accepts that Katya is not (she doesn’t). Tori should not be pushing and goading Katya into something she isn’t comfortable with. I blame the beginning of the end of Katya’s sanity on Tori- she is a horrible friend.

Second, Wulf is an a-hole without a single redeeming quality. Like, not a single one…at all. I’ve got no problem with an Alpha but they usually have SOME softness, SOME charm, SOME seductiveness for the h. He has none- he is an absolute prick to her the entire time and she FALLS IN LOVE WITH HIM. Because of the crush she had on him when she was a teenager? Nope. Based on the way he (didn’t) ask her out, she never should have started up with him to begin with. And then, the way he broke things off? That put things into UNFORGIVABLE territory. No apology would get him out of that. I simply could not accept her acknowledging how much of an a-hole he is and then forgive him because “maybe he just needs someone to love him”. Why? He’s shown no signs of being capable of loving her back. He’s not shown her a single minute of respect so why is she giving him any of her time?

I really had hope for Liam until the end. I knew the guys knew each other. However, to find out that it wasn’t a weird ‘Oh, crap. That’s the other guy?’ coincidence (like after the cake incident and Katya finally said Wulf’s name to Liam.) but a massively cruel mindf-ck these guys perpetrated…this killed any slight acceptance I might have had for this story. And then it ends on a cliffhanger with Katya acting like a bunny-boiler in the making. There might be a part two coming out for this but I cannot think of a single thing that would redeem either of these guys. Katya needs to give these to two a big ‘F Off’ (possibly a couple of restraining orders) and move on with her life (and out of that apartment).

That being said, grammatically and structurally this was well written. But I would never categorize this as a romance novel. Definitely adult fiction, but not romance.

5 "Wow" Stars

My neighbors are nothing like this. I feel like I'm missing out on the good things in life.

There a books that leave you feeling happy, content, nervous, sad, emotional, excited, and even angry. Neighbors left me feeling all the things. There wasn't an emotion that I didn't feel. I don't know how she does it, but Ms. Fantome is able to create new, exciting and unique characters that leave me both shocked, turned on and like I'm a page away from a nervous breakdown every time.

Neighbors follows Katya Tocci. She's in kind of a beige rut. She doesn't go outside her comfort zone much and her life is kind of in a holding pattern. With the help of her best friend though she sets out to change that. By signing up for a dating site she gets way more than she bargained for but she finds that maybe it's exactly what she needs.

First she meets Liam Edenhoff. He finds her on the dating site and realizes that she is the same woman that lives near him. With his attention captured, Katya sets out to prove to both Liam and herself that she's not really the boring baker she seems to be. When she learns that Liam owns a sex club, her inner daredevil starts showing and she realizes that she has way more to give and is way more courageous and outgoing that she ever knew.

Ener Wulfric Stone: her childhood neighbor and schoolgirl crush. He randomly shows up at her bakery and decides they're going on a date. A bit taken aback but totally curious (and still a little starstruck), she decides to let her new inner vixen out. As she strikes up a sexy friendship with Liam, she develops more intimate feelings for Wulf though she's completely open and honest with both men right from the very beginning.

Soon though just as the saying goes all good things must come to an end. And while she loves the freedom her new arrangement has given her, she's a realist at heart and realizes that she has different feelings for both men. When she confronts those feelings though things get a little sticky.

I pretty much loved everything about this book. It was undeniably sexy. It was also cute and funny and even a bit frustrating as the three way dynamic Katya finds herself in was quite realistic in my opinion. When things started to get messy as they're wont to do, I was as caught up in the frenzy as Katya. I fell a little bit for both Liam and Wulf but in completely different ways. And as the book neared its conclusion, I had some ideas about what was going to happened, but just like with Degradation, I did not see that ending coming at all.

I am so excited to see how this series plays out. I don't yet know if I'm Team Tacos or Team Wulf, but I am most assuredly Team Katya and more than a little Team WTF Just Happened.

So, as is blatantly obvious from the title, this book is about neighbors, got it, it’s about neighbors with added benefits, got it, it’s about neighbors we would all love in our lives (if only in our dreams), got it, so, why am I left wondering what on earth I have just read and loved.

Right from the start we’re slapped in the face with a healthy dose of sexy neighbor, aka Liam Eden-fluffy-pants (yes, I had the same problem as poor Katya) as he finds himself looking at her dating profile which has been heavily kinked-up thanks to Katya’s roommate. With the personality of a goody two-shoes and the image of a librarian, Katya is anything but the sexy, confident and kinky profile that has been created for her but that’s exactly what attracts Liam to her.

Faced with Liam’s good looks and fun-loving personality, Katya decides to throw caution to the wind and sets off to explore her inner naughtiness. It helps that Liam owns a sex club and, as you can guess, things get pretty heated right from the outset. Normally, Katya has a three date rule before even offering up a kiss, but with Liam all bets are off as she quickly finds herself in-public-flagrante! Despite her initial reservations, Katya throws herself into her “date” with Liam and it's not until the next day that she wonders just what she let herself in for.

Liam is the epitome of a dream man and yet, Katya looks to him only for friendship and their occasional sexual encounters (I know, she must be crazy). The man who holds her heart comes along immediately after her initial liaison with Liam and that man is Wulfric Stone, the neighbor that she grew up watching through her bedroom window and secretly crushed on throughout her teenage years. When Wulf walks into her shop and orders a cake, Katya initially assumes that he doesn’t recognise her but when his assistant returns with a “demand” that she meet up with him, Katya is stunned into acceptance. Wulfic is everything she has ever wanted but at the same time he is clearly wrong for her. He is sexy but cold, attractive but distant and yet, Katya is continually drawn back to spending time with him, and boy does she! Wulfic is the complete opposite to Liam. A man of few words and even fewer actions as Katya soon comes to realise.

It is clear as you read on that there is more to the story and boy is there a twist in the tail. Between Liam and Wulf, Katya (and us readers alike) must decide who is the man for her. Does she fall for the sweet and kind Liam or the dark and brooding Wulf?

As always with Stylo Fantome, you get so much more story than meets the eye. Her books definitely pack a punch. I really hope that we don’t have to wait too long for book 2, my sensibilities couldn’t stand it!

5 “don't get better than this” Stars!
Sexy, funny and gently emotional. An entirely addicting read that stole my heart and had me swooning for more!

The Review:
This book? Freaking amazing!! Like totally, one hundred percent, Ahhh-Maze-Ing! From the first sentence to the last, I was hooked, enamored, and absolutely captivated.

Story/Characters...
Katya Tocci is a baker. She’s a beige wearing, no risk taking, proper young lady. She never dated much, following a strict set of morals passed down by her parents and she never stepped out of her comfort zone. She was boring. And when her best friend and roommate, Tori, talks her into signing up at a dating website, she realizes that even her profile is boring. That is until Tori takes it upon herself to “update” it when she’s not looking. Suddenly Katya’s being approached by the sexy neighbor next door and a long time crush comes strutting back into her life.

Liam Edenhoff owns a sex club. He’s seen the beautiful, meek Katya around his apartment building as she’s his neighbor, but never thought to approach her thinking she was too tame for the kind of life he leads. That is, until he saw her online profile reading “strip-aerobics and pole dancing classes” and “indulging in my kinky side” as her hobbies.

Wulfric Stone is the CEO of The Stone Agency. He’s a self made man and he refuses to be dependent on or tied to, anyone. Sex is strictly business and always with no commitments or strings attached. He has no time for relationships or emotional connections of any kind. But things start to shift his controlled world upside down after he visits a little bakery shop to order goodies for a meeting and reconnects with Katya, his quiet neighbor from childhood.

The heroine: This isn’t a traditional romance of one woman and one man. Nope, not at all. This woman has two very hot, very sexy, very different men she starts dating at the same time. There’s no real cheating in this story as she’s not committed to either of them and she’s open and honest right from the start with both of them, who are just fine with her position because neither man is looking for a commitment. And when she does decide that she’s falling in love, she puts a halt to the double sleeping arrangements. Katya was living outside her grey, normal little box for a while, but once her heart became involved, she honored her morals and showed strength in making a decision that was right for her. I’ll admit that I didn’t know what to think about one woman having two separate relationships going at the same time when I first started this read and I was scared that the author was going to take me to a cheating place I did NOT want to go. I don’t like cheating in my romance novels, but the author did a wonderful job toeing that line, creating a romance that was fun, exciting and full of intensely sexy moments.

The heroes: Both of them equally hot and desirable, but in incredibly different ways. Liam was so much fun. He added light and humor to Katya’s day. He was sweet, witty, thoughtful, exciting, outgoing and very charming. It was easy to see why a girl would swoon over him. Wulfric on the other hand, was the complete opposite of Liam. He was dark and intense and not thoughtful at all. He was brooding, rude, demanding and very full of himself. But even when he was being lordly, there was this magnetic pull to him that you just couldn’t deny. Maybe it was the wounded-alpha-needing-a-hug vibe you got, but whatever it was, his arrogance was hot yet at the same time you just wanted to punch some manners into him. Regardless of their differences, I COULD. NOT. pick one I liked more. I loved them both, for different reasons. And when it came time to pick who I wanted for Katya, I couldn’t choose. They both brought out different things in her that made her grow and expand her horizons. Katya is experiencing things she’s never experience before, exploring a stronger, more confident side of herself and letting her inner freak proudly shine.

The Wrap Up:
There are some magnificent, sexy scenes and some very clever and hilarious dialogue in this novel. I honestly wish I could go back to the beginning and read this book for the first time, all over again. And that ending! I can’t say I didn’t see it coming. All the signs were there if you looked closely enough but that didn't take away from the emotional impact or the “wtf!” moment either. Well played, Stylo Fantome. Well played. Toooootally messed with my emotions because I was definitely feeling everything the characters were feeling. Desperation, betrayal, confusion, humiliation, anger, hurt, fear... it was all there and waiting for book two is going to be torturous ... but I can’t wait to see what Katya does next.

NOTE: This book ends on a cliffhanger.

Pure erotic entertainment. Romance, intrigue, manipulation, comedy, and drama - Neighbors had it all. Engaging from beginning to end, Fantome’s writing easily led me to fall super fast for these characters and their story. It’s a unique point of view and an interesting take on a love triangle type story. I’m not a love triangle girl, usually. Stylo Fantome changed my mind for this story.

A prince charming and an anti-hero change the course of an independent woman’s life as she’s determined to reinvent her seemingly boring existence. Stylo Fantome writes seriously amazing anti-heroes. The one in this story is absolutely no exception. His counterpoint, the prince charming, shows a softer side to her anti-heroes. I took great pleasure in exploring this dichotomy. This story starts by reinvigorating Katya, our heroine, making her an active participant in her own life. It invigorates the reader at the same time. She thrusts herself into a new start becoming polarized by two completely opposite men while still maintaining the purity and honesty of who she is at her core. My dear friend Deanna said to me “this story is really Katya’s awakening” and I totally agree. I loved this heroine through her confusion and conflict especially, which doesn’t often happen to me. She’s never dishonest in her actions always echoing her inner thoughts and turmoil. And reflecting further upon Deanna’s statement I think by the end this story really evolves and proves to the reader it’s an awakening of sorts for all three characters. There’s a cataclysmic shift in all of their foundations that occurs slowly over the course of the book. These foundations subtly changing as their hidden within witty banter, possessiveness, playfulness, and sexual discovery.

Twist and turns delving into both the light and dark of sexual, human nature Neighbors takes readers on captivating, entertaining journey. Fantome’s style of writing, her story-telling structure, and the unraveling of her characters’ lives are all unique and exciting. This author consistently offers fresh and unique stories that break the mold of the erotic genre yet still fulfill all your desires as an erotic romance reader. While her stories are seductively gritty the intricate romance webbed within her words is undeniable and captivating.

Neighbors comes highly recommended from me for erotic readers with an open mind and penchant for unique, entrancing stories.

I’m speechless. WTH just happened?! I knew it was coming. At the 85% mark I started to feel impending doom. It was unbearable and I thought I was having a panic attack. But guess what…I loved every moment of it. This story is about a young woman named Katya who sets out on a journey of self discovery. And boy does she discover, she finds Wulf and Liam. Once Liam and Wulf enter the picture the shenanigans began. I didn’t want to read this because I thought it was a love triangle, but Jasmine talked me into it. I’m so glad she did. I still don’t know if this is a love triangle. I know it was a story about love and friendship, oh and hot sex. My emotions were all over the place, just like Katya’s. One minute I was #teamtacos, then #teamwulf, now I’m just confused.  I can’t wait to continue on this journey with Katya. I want her to win. I want them all to win…*sigh* #teamwulf…

Ok, this one threw me for a loop. I knew something big was coming, I just didn’t know what. I enjoyed watching Katya coming into her own and letting down her guard and becoming an individual. Liam was so fun and sweet, he was such a great friend. And Wulf… At first, Wulf seemed like a complete a-hole and I hated him, but as Natasha and I talked, I realized that Wulf is the exact type of #level3 that we love. As the story continued, I fell more and more in love with Wulf. We keep telling each other that we don’t want to read unfinished stories, yet here we are again. I loved this story and I am definitely #teamwulf. I cannot wait for the next one!

STYLO has done it again you guys. Some authors you know what you're gonna get. Not in a bad way or a good way, just that they have their writing style and you open a book and it feels like them. Stylo while she has definitely established her voice as an author, I feel like I go into each book blind, never knowing what to expect except knowing, without a shadow of a doubt that she is going to ROCK MY WORLD and she does. Every. Damn. Time. I've read every book she's written and she has not even come close to disappointing me! NEIGHBORS was no exception it was absolutely fabulous!

This book does not mess around, the story grabs ahold of you from the first chapter and sucked me right in. The story goes from 0-60 in like 5 pages. Haha! Its HOT and funny and liberating in all sorts of ways. Just when you get comfortable and all settled in thinking you have a clue where this book is taking you Stylo pulls the rug out from under you and knocks you on your butt. Again and again and again. There are three main characters in this book. Katya, Wulfric, and Eden/Liam. (I know, Stylo's characters always have THE COOLEST names.) These three characters could not be more different. But one thing they all have in common is that they all lay their hearts out for you (and for one another) on these pages, this book drips with emotion, heart & soul. And I LOVED IT! I absolutely totally and completely loved it!

My review…4.5 stars
This book takes “being neighborly” to the next level as Katya Tocci, and her two gorgeous neighbors mix it up in and out of the kitchen. Katya has always lived a goodie-goodie lifestyle, making the right decisions, following the rules, and dating one guy at a time, but nope, not anymore. Liam is charming, witty, and the life of the party. Then there’s Wulf, who’s stunningly handsome, powerful, and demanding. Both men know what they want and it happens to be Katya. How will Katya handle her neighbors when they both want to more than a cup of sugar?

I fell in love with these characters! Every one of them had me wishing I were one of their neighbors! You want to be a part of their world, living in San Francisco, taking BART, eating at tacos, and taking in the views of the bay. Everything Katya feels and experiences will be a treat for your senses. Liam and Wulf will get under your skin and have you just as confused as Katya. Be prepared for smoldering hot passion that gives new meaning to “all the feels”. I bought The Neighborhood at the same time so I wouldn’t have to wait for the next book.

Katya and Liam had the perfect flattering quick-fire friendship that was hot as hell. In no time they were in the sack but when your first meeting of your hottie neighbor leads to finding out he’s the owner of a sex club and you’ve literally just vowed to let your hair down you definitely jump all in. Easily overlooking your completely opposite lifestyles and give in to everything you never dreamed of.

Strangers to accelerated besties they really showcased how easy it is to have a simple connection. And I’m not talking love.

At first lust? Yes.

The urge to play, absolutely.

The itch to take Mrs. Perfection and tie her in knots, oh yeah!!

This was literally a physical connection, the nice to naughty. At first, then opened up an easy and comical banter between the opposite sex. It was a joy to read. Made me smile and swoon and want more of them together. They were that easy together. They were informal, he made her think less and feel everything.

As you see I really loved Katya and Liam, incredibly so, but there is a little snag and I almost don’t want to bring him up but he’s a troll and I just don’t want to give him any lime light. He’s the real reason behind my rating. If this was solely about Katya and Liam and their delightful antics I would easily rate this a 5. I enjoyed them that much, even though there wasn’t this perfected romance, it was getting there, they were them- unique. I like that. I don’t want cookie cutter. They made me laugh and enjoy my reading time. Now, just as Katya is trying Liam on for size she also is opening up for whatever else… Liam and Katya just were. There was no ring, no commitment so when she starts seeing an old…acquaintance, Wulf…ahhh…I was intrigued at first by her thoughts of him but his actions made me want Liam that much more. I didn’t want her to give anything to this guy…time, words, screams. He rubbed me the wrong way. I don’t want this guy to have a shot. I think the answer is there, black and white. There is no choice (in my opinion), WHY AND WHAT IS SHE THINKING….THAT GUY??? HIM???? The ways he’s shown her?? Shake head, nope. I don’t see it. She had the attention she craved but she also had Liam. That would-IS enough for me. GIVE ME LIAM!!!!!

I’m a bit shocked at the turn of events. While one aspect I suspected but the depth of the truth, nah, didn’t see that one coming. I was so involved with Katya and Liam and didn’t give much thought to how this would actually end. I’m still waiting.

What happens when the ‘good girl’ wants to discover her bad side? Just ask Katya Tocci !! As Katya starts to broaden her wings, she decides that moving slowly into the ‘bad girl’ direction isn’t exactly in her plans. In fact, Katya starts out her evolution with a BANG!!!

It all starts with an introduction to a neighbor - Liam. For the first time - Katya decides to shed her ‘beige’ existence and experience anything that her ‘previous’ self would never do. Liam has an interesting occupation that he shares with Katya. Resulting in an explosive encounter that neither Liam or Katya can ignore. Everything that has ever been viewed as ‘off limits’ is now ‘on the table’ and Katya is soaking up every moment.

As luck would have it, a blast from the past walks into Katya’s bakery where she is employed. The sullen and sultry Wulfric used to be a neighbor of Katya’s while growing up. Surprised to have drawn his apparent attention, Katya finds it hard to ignore the sudden attention of the crush from her childhood days. Wulfric is nothing like Katya expects. Yet his demands only draw Katya further towards a cold hearted man that rarely lets anyone around the walls of his heart.

Two completely different men have walked into Katya’s life. Both have helped her explore a side of herself that Katya never would have let out of the bag (so to speak). Each man makes Katya feel like she is special. Causing her to question how she can possibly continue a relationship with both men. There is a pull that draws her towards each of them for various reasons. Deciding which one she should continue to see is the biggest question in Katya’s mind. Until she discovers that you never truly know what you will find when looking behind your neighbor’s door.

M’kay…..why is it I have not read Stylo Fantome until now??? Talk about an introduction!!! This book was quite the surprise in a nice little package. This story starts off with a bang. Katya is trying to expand her horizons on the dating scene. The way she goes about it will broaden that ‘good girl’ image unlike anything Katya could have predicted. An erotic journey that leads to the mother of all CLIFFHANGERS!!!!! Seriously…..I am strumming my fingers on my kindle in anticipation of what is to come!! Counting down the days to discover what Katya finds in the Neighborhood!!

When I read the description I was really expecting something different when what this book was. Not in a bad way, but I wasn't expecting Liam. He came out of left field.

Liam was amazing, he helped Katya let lose and learn to be a new and improved version of her self. He was sexy rich, witty and all around an amazing hero. He was so in touch with his sexuality.

Katya was slowly finding her self and I really liked that. She wasn't to caught up in what other people would think, but she tried new things and went with the flow, even if she might get hurt. Oh, her mom was amazing!!!!

I didn't like Wulf. I'm not sure why but it was hard to connect with him like I could with Liam. He was cold. He was brass and maybe that's what the authors was going for, but I had hoped to make a connection with him.

The plot was something else I was expecting. The way that Katya was finding her self was very, rewarding. It makes you think about yourself and the things that you could do if you let your self go.

This was a twisted love triangle of sorts. With out spoilers, I don't feel that it really was, but I could see how some people thought it was, but it to me, is a woman learning to experience like and even sex.

I loved Tori's character for the most part. The way she pushed Katya to be more open was true friendship at its finest!

Overall it was a good story. I can't wait to see what happens in the next book. The author did an amazing job at making me second guess everything I thought I knew. This story was hot, different and full of plot twists that keep you hanging on! 4.5 stars #2OCCJD

Everyone stop what you are reading and grab this book! An amazing must read!!!

I flew through this book! The writing and story flowed so effortlessly keeping me squirming in my seat. Seriously I'm in LOVE... between which of these two hot sexy men I wanted to kiss and kill in a good way! Damn I speechless!!

why she'd been such a prude for so long. Is this what dating two men at once felt like!? God, why hadn't she been doing it all along? Why wasn't everyone doing it?

This story had me all over the road with emotions As I found myself cheering, laughing and wanting to throw my kindle across the room when bam I was hit right in the face with a twist I did not see coming. Cannot wait to read more of these characters!

This is my 4th book from this author and she could make her grocery list into and amazing story.

Katya Tocci is a very well sought after baker. Her life is very structured, and boring. When her roommate pushes her to create an online dating profile, and updates it for her, her life is spiced up immediately. Meeting Liam, and being called out for being "school marmish", brings out a side of her she never thought she had. She's certainly determined to prove him wrong. Then someone she hasn't seen in years appears. Her old neighbor, Wulfric, happens into her bakery one day and demands she meet him for dinner. She always crushed on him growing up, and now he's finally showing her attention.
Katya had sincere insecurities about herself. She's never had the kind of male attention she has now. She has feelings for both men, and they know about each other. Neither seems to mind, Liam actually encourages her to explore herself with Wulf. She's quickly becoming good friends with Liam and loves the time they spend together, while she's falling for Wulf. I loved watching their relationships evolve. The two men are completely different. One sweet and flirty, the other seemingly made of stone. Katya fit well with both of them, and I honestly didn't know which one I was rooting for.
Wow...I was unsure what I was getting into with this book. I do like a good love triangle. The ending nearly killed me with the gut wrenching cliffhanger we received. I literally cried for Katya. This book was so well developed and brilliantly written. I just found a new amazing author and I could not be happier...well, I could. Only if I had book two right about now!

My ‘Blogging Reader’s Review’ for ‘NEIGHBORS’
(v i a: BooksMoviesFandoms.word press.c o m):

“Neighbors” is an enticing novel by author Stylo Fantome. As far as genres go, this novel fits in both the adult and new adult categories, as well as in the contemporary romance and erotica sections. This story is unpredictable in some ways and keeps you entertained through out the story-line which is a plus. “Neighbors” is written in the three main character’s P.O.V.’s(point of views) from Katya Tocci, Liam “Eden” Edenhoff, and Wulfric “Wulf” Stone.

Katya Tocci has always led a simple but happy life. Some would call it boring but she was fine with that. She had her friends, family, a great career, and didn’t feel as if she was missing anything. That was true until her roommate Tori decides that Katya has been in a dating rut long enough and needed to get out there and explore. So, she signs her up on a dating website. Tori just failed to let Katya know that she spiced up her information to make her sound sexy and more wild than she really ever was. This brought about a very interesting turn of events. Her neighbor, who happened to be signed up on the same dating site, introduces himself and things begin to go down a very wild road for Katya. Katya decides to enjoy the ride by ignoring her reservations and giving herself a chance to go beyond her own limits and rules.

Liam “Eden” Edenhoff owns a club, not just any club, but a sex club where fantasies can come true. He’s had his fair share of sexual relations that haven’t meant anything more than a quick moment of ecstasy and nothing more. When gets bored, he checks out a dating site and happens to find his neighbor on there. He’s barely ever paid much attention to her because she never seemed like the type to fit with his ways. He decides to check her out and see if she’d be into what he’s into. His business partner even told him to go for it, so he follows through. Things for Liam begin down a path he never expected to be headed down.

As if things for Katya couldn’t get anymore wild and full of twists-and-turns, someone from her past pops-back into her life again. Wulfric Stone was the son of a family friend and her neighbor growing up. He never paid her much attention since he was six years older, who was usually a jerk, and self-centered. And to top it all off, she had a huge crush on him when she was growing up. Now, as an adult, not much has changed with him other than his lifestyle. He seems to be a very successful man, but he now comes across as an even bigger jerk, blunt, mysterious, and sexy-as-sin.

When Katya finds herself going from being very single to being in a very hot and twisted love-triangle, how will she handle it all? Who will she choose: Liam, the sexy and fun club owner, or Wulf, her old crush who’s a handsome and successful business man? As Katya gets to know them, will a friendship, their bond, mind-blowing sexual attraction, and feelings make things more complicated than we expected? And what secrets are being kept that could spin this entire situation into a tailspin of exposing lies and possibly causing heartbreak. “Neighbors” is absolutely something different but very intriguing, sexy, and enthralling. I highly recommend this for readers who can enjoy an exciting and enticing story about growing and exploring oneself and pushing limits that one may put on themselves. This definitely had deeper moments and emotional peaks that will keep readers riding a wild roller-coaster. NOTE: It ends on a Cliff-hanger but is definitely worth the read and to see where this wild story will go! Also, there are some very sexual situations, so be ready for that. This is worth the read. Check it out today! ;)

6 Well that was Unexpected Stars

I love Stylo’s books. I’ve always rate her reads really high. I’ll be honest and say the blurb for this one didn’t pull me in. Neighbor books are a dime a dozen, so I thought to myself what makes this book so different and special?

Well, you can slap me. Because this is anything but a typical book. The blurb doesn’t do any justice, but I understand the author didn’t want to give anything away.

I think I need to tell you a few things to entice you, because this book was pure amazing.

First off, I’ve read some negative reviews and just note, yes this book has a cliff-hanger. Personally I love cliff-hangers because you know why? That means the book doesn’t end. Yes people! Have you ever read a book you loved and didn’t want it to end, well this one is it!

Second, this book is written in third person narrative. WHICH I find refreshing and I have no issues with. I always figure third person writing a bit tricky and any author that can write that way demands my applause.

There are two Heroes in this one! But no cheating. I usually cringe at love triangles but there’s something about Stylo’s writing that makes me read out of my comfort zone. She wrote a book about cheating and I loved it, so it’s no surprise she writes a book with two Heroes and I love them both.

What I love most about this book is that it was well thought out. From the first to last page, you know the author had the plot and story line down. It also reads effortless and very steamy. I couldn’t put it down and I read it in one sitting.

This book is very adult in the sense everyone acted his or her age. I really liked how rational everyone was and like I said, it was just an overall refreshing read.

Katya is a boring girl and she wants to spice up her life, so when she creates an on-line dating profile and she meets Liam.

Liam is the fun-loving happy guy. He lives in the building next door and he kind of pushes Katya’s boundaries. He shows her the steamy side of her and also how to have fun in a relationship. He doesn’t want anything serious and she agrees.

I loved Liam. He’s the guy you can joke with, eat tacos and drink beer with. He’s the guy you can consider a best friend and will be there for you no matter what.

Then there’s Katya’s childhood crush Wulfric. Don’t you love the name? He’s broody, mysterious and very rich. His time and money is precious and he’s curious to how Katya has changed since childhood. I found Wulfric the kind of hero I love to read. He’s so alpha male you just want him to have his way with you.

The star of the book is Katya and I love reading all of her bedroom adventures. She struggles and has fun with both men and it keeps the story really interesting.

This book was just overall one-of-kind surprising read.

Stylo Fantome is an author that I am very familiar with having read all of her books, she is a fantastic writer who brings something unique to every story she tells and while this story line is a bit unique it didn’t fully reach its potential. Rating this one is a little difficult for me, the writing was definitely 4 star quality but the story itself more like a 3, so I am going to go with an average between the two and give it a 3.5 rating.

Katya is our leading lady; she is kind of …predictable. She pretty much sticks to the same routine every day, work and home, but it is a life she is comfortable with, until someone tells her she isn’t. So Katya decides to be sporadic and exciting leading her to do some pretty out of character things and bringing on the attention of a couple of guys.

Liam is laid back, fun and quite the expert in the area of sex. He reluctantly goes along for the ride with Katya’s new persona and they form a friendship of sorts. I actually really liked Liam, I wasn’t comfortable with the first date scene but I thought he redeemed himself throughout the rest of the story until the end, that is.

Wulf is an a-hole. Usually I love an alpha a-hole and Stylo has written some of my favorite, but I didn’t find any redeeming qualities in Wulf. There wasn’t ever a point in the book that I found myself rooting for him.

What I liked:

I liked the uniqueness of the storyline.
I liked that both of the guys were completely opposite of each other but not your typical good boy vs. bad boy scenario.
I liked that there was no warning that it would end on a cliffy. It gave it the ability to be an actual cliffhanger.
The writing, as always, was phenomenal. Stylo is a very talented writer with a magical mind.
The sex scenes were pretty hot and I actually did enjoy seeing her awaken in that area.

What I didn’t like:

The story was told in third person and it just didn’t work with this one. I understand her reason for doing it, she wanted the reader to get in the mind of all 3 of them but I personally would have preferred alternating POV’s. The third person just ended up confusing me in some spots and making it hard to follow in others.

I did not like Katya. She was not a strong female lead until the very last paragraph. She was never comfortable in her own skin, she was trying to be this person that her roommate created and it just didn’t work for her.

The story became predictable. I don’t remember exactly when I figured it out but when I did it became incredibly obvious and I was reading more to find out what her reaction would be.

The characters never really endeared themselves to me. I don’t feel like they were really developed, more one dimensional so I never truly got invested in their story.

Overall, I don’t think the story was bad I just think it wasn’t executed as well as it could have been. There were parts that I enjoyed and others that I struggled through. I would definitely recommend that everyone read the book and form their own opinion of it. I do believe that it is a book a certain audience would love and I will be reading the next one though I don’t think I would be happy if it ended with an HEA unless the story was very compelling.

Well, well, well...

Ok, let’s try this again, for the store’s sake…

It occurred to me after reading this that despite owning several of Stylo's books, I've only read one other before this. Interestingly enough, it was enough for me to gravitate towards her works because even with just one book, I find that I like her writing style and the way she likes to twist things. Also, with other Goodreads friends enamored with some of her alpha a$$hole H's, I'd say, that's more than enough reason.

There are things that gave me conflicting feelings, but I'll point it out now that ultimately, I know for a fact that I would want to read the rest of this duet.

For someone who’s not fan of this trope where there's more than 2 people involved, I was actually intrigued. If I paid better attention to the blurb, I probably would have hesitated. But because this is Stylo writing, I want to know where she's gonna take these characters.

For someone who thought the MC’s did give all kinds of conflicting feelings, I was actually intrigued by each one of them. I didn't really agree with most of the characters' actions nor did I buy some of their feelings and thoughts. But I have to give credit because I feel like individually, Stylo actually gave me strong protagonists (and I kinda use that term loosely hehe). From Katya's perspective, I suppose you can consider this her sexual awakening. I've come close to judging her a few times but to do so felt like slüt-shaming her so I didn't want to go there. She did take risks. In the end though, I get where she's coming from, somewhat. To be that lost, I get the need to learn one's self better. Did I fully buy it? Hmmm...

Liam, the first spoke in the wheel, is funny, sweet and very easy-going. It's hard not to fall for him. He had the right personality to bring out the fun, risque side of Katya. Now, Wulfric, the second spoke in the wheel, you get your classic alpha H; your take-charge kinda' fella, closed off and fighting off feelings to hide his vulnerability, arrogant and rude but you get a peek of a softer side. It's hard not to want to be the woman to crack his veneer. But to put these 2 in the context of the relationship, neither one felt worthy.

Which bring me to my next point, the dynamics among these 3, while uneven, totally makes sense in my head. I laughed even when I was scratching my head. I bought the heat even when I'm confused and not buying the attraction fully. I started rooting for one even when I don't understand the attraction. And as much as I didn't want to root for the other, I felt like I should.

In the beginning especially, I couldn't make sense of what's happening. Then I thought I had some inkling as to where the conflict is gonna come from and whatever is lurking underneath. But then, I got too distracted seeing how things are playing out that I forgot my theories so by the end, the last 10% had my head spinning. And for Stylo to end it the way she did, I'm actually intrigued. I want to see how she would redeem these characters. I mean, that is, if she would... I'm not so sure anymore... I just know I have faith in Stylo and her writing.

And for that, I shall eagerly await... *thrums fingers*

After reading the synopsis, I was expecting one thing. After reading the book, I got something totally different.... well, to a certain extent.

When I read the synopsis..I thought I was going to read about how a strong relentless man changed a shy, repetitive, boring young woman to be more confident to living life on edge. Well, I guess that is what I read but I had missed the part in the synopsis stating: {Throw in a neighbor who wants to corrupt her, AND ANOTHER WHO WANTS TO OWN HER, and her entire world is flipped upside down.}
Didn't realize another man was involved. So just incase you missed that too, You will be reading how two men changed her world.

Liam: Tocci describes him as a lanky but strong man.. that dresses like a college student. A smile that could turn your insides to poo. A personality that wll make you relax and laugh. A man that took her from boring to living on the edge. A man that always seems to make sure she is comforable before anything happens. She really REALLY likes him until...

Wulf: Tocci describes him as strong, dominant, gorgeous, a$$hole, takes what he wants, most of the time acts like she isn't even there with him...when in reality she is right there, always on his phone. A man she use to crush on in her teenage years. A man that never looked at her twice until now.....but why? Why does he all of sudden have interest? Why does he ask her out but hardly acknowledges her.? Why does he seem like he cares but then he doesn't? So much confuses her but why does she feel like she can't be without him? He treats her like crap but yet she sees something else in his "eyes". She really REALLY likes him but.....

There were a few other side characters but the main one was Tocci roommate Tori. She is the outgoing person that starts the whole developing story but putting Tocci on a dating app.
And that is where it all begins...

I would say half way through I was getting the impression of what the main conflict would be and I was correct. Knowing that I was right didn't take away from the story. The conflict was confirmed but so much of the details around the conflict was a major surprise. Infact, I was taken back by it all. The best part was that I LOVED the strong woman Tocci became.

The story was basically the beginning, middle, ending of whatever relationship you would say she had with each man.

There was lots of sex. Some detailed more than others but nothing to overwhelming.
Spoken in third person but also in first. Wulf and Liam's point of view was thrown in there every once in awhile but it was mainly in Tocci.

I know.. I know.. This review doesn't really say what the story is about. but you don't need to know more than what the synopsis tells you. It isn't a love triangle of deceit.

I can't wait till the second book.. I do recommend.

What about “Neighbors”? I finished it yesterday and I still have to recover from the surprise of its final. A final outstanding, that I would never have expected. Let’s say that while I was reading the story I made a lot of theories about how it would go, the final conclusion? Here I got a nice crab, but just big big! Well done Ms Fantome, but now I’m waiting, necessarily, for the second book as soon as possible.
The protagonists of this story are the innocent and polite Katya, Liam her neighbor very sexy, charming and cocky and Wulfric, gorgeous , dark and enigmatic, but above all is the guy about Katya had a teenage crush.
Everything begins with Katya’s post on an online dating site. Tired of her life as a good girl – is very young, she’s only twenty-three years old – that led her to have very little experience with the male sex, she decides to make a leap of faith. Too bad that her friend “gives” her a hand, enriching herself with special very hot and fake profile, but thanks to this the Katya’s phone becomes incandescent by the number of messages received.
Liam, one of her neighbors, recognizes her picture, and not entirely convinced by her profile decides to ask her out.
It’s a fairly embarrassing situation, but Katya comes out great and decides to challenge Liam. She sees herself as boring and insignificant, but in reality she can be fun, jaunty and unleash her wild side, very much, going to Liam?s sexy club, spending an evening memorable, for both.
Together the two make really sparks, Liam is very hot, full of experience in this field, but with Katya is not only this kind of man, is able to establish with her an instant trust and their remains not just a simple one night-stand, but they become close friends with the “benefits” extra. In fact he’d want something more, but Katya’s life, which was first totally flat, is overwhelmed by another hurricane: Wulfric Stone.
He and Liam are very different, as the devil and holy water. Liam is so full of attention with Katya and always tries, since Wulf is brooding, aloof, and dominant. What can I say? I prefer him as Katya, the bad boy always has its charm, there is nothing to do.
Katya feels very torn between the two of them, she has no doubts about who she wants, but she knows that her choice will lead only to broke her heart.
And then comes the final of the book that destroyed about all and everything, maybe I could only save Katya.
This is a book that takes you, with well-chosen characters to create this triangle-no triangle, with explicit sex scenes very hot, well-written, but with a nice story that unites all in an extraordinary way. Liam and Wulf are irresistible and I loved Katya: the dialogues between them, the back and forth, the irony and especially the moment when Katya is able to break down the wall behind which Wulf hides himself, causing him to lose his equanimity is great.
And now? I began to wait: Katya and Liam, Katya and Wulf? Who knows.

Review: Neighbors by Stylo Fantôme

Stylo has managed to spin one heck of a story and win my heart all over again. Neighbors is packs quite a punch, it's got a plot that will keep you shamelessly entertained for hours on end until it suddenly ends and you realize you've just just spent your entire day falling in love with fictional characters. Then (sadly) a truly awful book hangover begins, because you will NOT be ready to rejoin society after finishing with this read.

One sweet (possibly librarian-esque) baker makes an online dating profile in the hopes of bringing a LITTLE spice into her somewhat boring life, little does she know she will soon be undergoing a major transformation from bland to sex kitten and her entire world is about to be shaken up by 2 sexy men.

Katya is my hero. She basically has an alter ego brought on by sheer spite and pride, and it is wonderful! That's right, her utter determination to prove people wrong and to break out of her comfort zone is both refreshing and awe inspiring. I bow down to her, I look up to her, and I kind of want to be her. Her transformation might be sudden, but it's still believable to me. Maybe because she's relatable, I could feel myself reaching a breaking point right along with her. Her hurt and pain was mine to share and so was her blinding euphoria brought on by two of the most drool worthy leading men that I have ever had the pleasure of reading.

The male characters in this story? Smoking hot and completely consuming. I know people are all 'team wuflie' or 'team taco' but I can't be the only one who is 'team man sandwich'. How can anyone possibly choose between these men? They are each perfect in their own amazing ways. One is effortlessly charming, undeniably caring, sexy and always there with a joke or a shoulder to cry on. The other is completely alpha male, all virile and seductive, strong and bossy with a giant secret bleeding heart. I mean really, I fell for them both... hard. I could use a little wulftaco in my life, that's all that I'm saying.

This book is everything I never knew that I needed in a story, and in my life. Sure, it made me edgy and borderline insane at times. I may have been pulling for one side of the man sandwich more than the other at various stages of the book, and our leading ladies inability to feel exactly what I did may have made me snap. But wow, what does that say about the writing?! I was so obsessed with each character that I was ready to lose my mind if things didn't pan out 'this' or 'that' way, and they didn't. Because, as per usual, the author knows best. I tip my hat to Stylo for providing such depth, for making me GO insane. She wrote about Katya stepping out of the comfort zone, but her brilliant story gave ME the courage to do the same. It was her story that had me wanting to be more adventures and throw (some) caution to the wind, who knows... maybe I'll adopt my own sex kitten alter-ego. My husband thanks you immensely, Ms. Fantome.

The plot is different and unique. It's strange, sexy and insanely addicting. Stated simply, you don't want to miss this fanfreakingtastic story. Just say yes, and grab your copy today.

There are many different types of books; the two at each end of the scale are the book where you look at the side count and think; “moving on, come on, moving on!” The opposite end of the scale is where your heart is crying because the side count is moving way to fast.

Neighbors was for me in the last category. I was crying and screaming for the book never to end, and I actually stopped reading at 98% just to make the book last a little bit longer! Well, that didn’t last very long, because I just had to read the last part.

I had very high expectations about this book when I first started reading it. I am a great fan of Ms. Famtôme, and she had never before let me down. Oh Boy, she didn’t do it this time either! She swept me off my feet, and I still feel like I’m sitting on a rooftop with my feet in a kiddie pool and I never want to come down.

Sometime during the book I thought that this was an ugly duckling story. It had the part about not believing in yourself, not trusting in yourself and putting yourself down every time you get the chance. But it was not all it was. It was a story about love, love that gives you utterly joy and love that hurts you so much.

This is the story about one woman and two men, and I’m not going to write any more about the storyline because the plot is brilliantly wicked! I wish I could spend just one day inside the head of Stylo Fantôme.

Ms. Fantôme’s writing is flawless and fluent. Her characters have a lot of depth, and they are just awesome, all of them. Katya is the sweet girl, who discovers a whole new wild side of herself. Liam is the fun-loving prankster and Wulfric is the dark, haunted man. The dialog is brilliant, and the dialog between Katya’s old and new self is just hilarious. We’ve got it all; I can’t possibly wish for anymore.

The sex scenes are unbelievable hot and steamy and yes, Ms. Fantôme almost made me moan together with Katya. I would gladly walk a mile in her shoes if I got to experience that kind of sex!

I’m going to cry myself to sleep every single night until the next book in the series is out, so you better hurry up, girl!

***4 ‘The Evolution of…” Stars***

Well. H$ll.

I expected some of that and waited for the sh(i)te to hit the fan because you knew it would. And then started to question some things towards the last 3rd of the book or so, but I didn’t see THAT coming at all.

I’m still a newbie to the world of Stylo Fantôme but after reading and loving The Bad Ones it really was a no brainer to see what she had up her sleeve with Neighbors and what a ride it was! Even as I’m typing this out I’m still thinking about Katya, Liam and Wulf and trying to figure out them all out and if I even like them or not. Strange, I know, but that’s what this book did to me. Half the time I was a godd(@)mn cheerleader for each of them and the other half I was so irritated with them that I started to snarl and want to hit something. It was a vicious cycle, but I couldn’t stop reading because I NEEDED to know what would happen next.

Katya’s evolution from the very self contained and quintessential ‘good girl’ to...is at the heart of the story and holy h(e)ll does she evolve and I’m not all too sure which Katya I liked better, New or Old. They both had qualities I like in a person and ones that make me want to smack a person. But I couldn’t help but want to high five her as she opened herself up, literally at times, to new experiences. She became more vibrant and confident, and she also started to see the world a little differently and that included herself, some things she liked, others she didn’t and even though I wanted to smack her a few times for some of her choices she ended up owning them so I couldn’t fault her for them.

Liam and Wulf. I had a bit of a love/hate relationship with these two and I’m still flip flopping over how I really feel about them, but I couldn’t help but be drawn in by both of them. Such different personalities and yet they are both very much the same. It’s a crazy mix that intrigues while also repels a person. You want to dig deep and see more even when you know you’ll get burned. And I’m still not sure if I’m #TeamTaco or #TeamWulf though I know who prefer a little more than the other, but in the end they both made a h(e)ll of an impact.

The triangle. Admittedly, if I had to rank tropes, this one isn’t my favorite, but when done well it’s highly enjoyable even if I want to throw my Kindle at the wall when my fav isn’t picked and Ms. Fantôme does a great job with it here. The tension ~ sexual and otherwise ~ is intense and I kept turning the pages to see what Katya would do about them both.

That ending...when you get down to it, yes it is something of a cliffhanger, BUT it isn’t. It’s one of those you just have to experience for yourself. As with the characters themselves, I’m waffling between love and hate over it. Love it because it was the perfect place to end this book, but hate it because it’s the end of this book. All I know is I want more because despite all the waffling I am, in the end, #TeamKatya

Neighbors is a wickedly, delicious, sexy, omg read. The books ends on a cliffy but it's a cliffy that just makes you rub your hands together knowing the next book is gonna be soooooooooo goooooood!!!

Katya Tocci is your everyday girl. She went to school, she graduated, has a job as a top notch sought out baker in San Francisco and she's in a dating rout. She's not wild and crazy but when a online dating profile gets jazzed up by her roommate, Tori......Katya's life changes in sooooooo many amazing ways.

Liam Edenhoff.......he's a Neighbor and boy I never had someone like him around when I was living on my own. He's it ladies......he's Cute, Sexy, Flirty, Rich, Fun, Caring, Sweet, and knows how to Satisfy!! He is a great guy with a naughty side. Katya is like no other woman he's known and he wants her. He awakens the sexy Katya hidden within.......she becomes his Angel Cakes!!!!

Wulfric Stone, he was a Neighbor. He's Handsome, Sexy, Arrogant, Moody, Rich, Demanding, Controlling, and he also knows how to Satisfy!!! He is the bad boy that is cocky but has that softer side that only Katya has seen. He TAKES what he wants and he wants Katya.

Two men, two neighbors, and they both want Katya. I want to be Katya.

This triangle of sorts is a sexual awaking for Katya. She's a boring type of girl but wants a change, she thinks. These two men bring out a new Katya with a mix of the old. Each relationship is hot and sexy but meaningful and freeing. But being with two men usually doesn't end well, it can't. Even though Katya is honest with both men about the other........she has to be honest with herself.

I love Katya's inner turmoil about her new self and also how she embraces stepping out of her comfort zone. Two men, two neighbors........how did she get into this predicament? But what a great predicament to be in in my opinion. Katya is young and why not live a little!!

The development of Katya and Liam and Katya and Wulf will make you go back and forth with your feelings. Each relationship is different and compelling. I felt torn and conflicted but I loved how Katya followed her heart and feelings. A trip home to visit her mom helped Katya really explore her feelings towards her Neighbors.

The progression of the story, from the very beginning to the very end, flowed effortlessly. As with all things too good to be true...........eventually it combusts and boy does it ever......sooooooo good!! I will say that the wedding cake scene was epically perfect!!! It was spot on and I loved reading every minute of it.

As with all of Stylo's writing, she evokes many levels of emotions. From parts that are sweet and cute, to parts that are sexy and hot, to parts that are quick and sassy.......this book has it all. Great characters, great banter and hot sexy scenes......Neighbors have never been so gooooood!

Oh.My.God...NEIGHBORS is just a PERFECT READ with a VERY NAUGHTY TREAT!!!

I was just so glad I went to our hometown with no internet connection because that way I wasn't able to read any spoilers or even any thoughts about the book. So yes, I went blind reading it, and boy...I was in for a very great treat leaving me with a wide eye and mouth opened because , Stylo Fantome is one brilliant and clever woman!!! This book really.. I can't even...

And you know what Neighbors by Stylo Fantome did to me?

1. I admit I second guess reading the book. Why? I'm a cover hoe but then it's a Twin Estate Series so I guess, there's that Twin Estate in the cover. ;)
And it's Stylo Fantome for so I cannot let it pass!

2. The blurb!!! My God!!! It will really caught your interest cover or not. Who writes a blurb like that btw?Nah, just Stylo. It seems funny , adorable and sexy but the plot is really more than that.

3. I cannot put the book down the moment I started reading the book. Come hell or high water I will still devour it.

4. It leaves me fanning and going to shower because it was scorching and that's from the fact that I am just only at the first few chapters.

5. I am dumbfounded. I was like staring blankly and I cannot believe what I'm reading.

6. I was utterly shocked because the story keeps getting so intense.

7. The twists and turns of events made my jaw dropped and I never expected it.

8. The book tested my comfort zone. But I love it!!! I can go on and on but I'm telling you, you better read it yourself and find out what I'm talking about.

Truth be told, Neighbors is a great read. Just a warning though because this book may test your reading comfort and it may not be a suitable read for you because honestly, this is even nothing like my usual read and Stylo will shock the hell out of you with this book. I cannot even choose whose side I'm on... Am I Team Tacos or Team Wulfy?? All I now is I wanna be Angel Cake.. ;).

These Neighbors are like no other!!! They will not just test you but they will make you feel so different things. Go one click this book and experience a rollercoaster ride with NEIGHBORS!!!

And oh, because the author ROCKS!
I have,

9. This book made me cry!!!!

It may have a hanging ending but please this made me even more excited to read the next book!!!

5 star review by Kristie K.

Neighbors…the title itself was intriguing to me, and the blurb? The blurb had just enough hook, with a side of vague intrigue, that it had me saying “yes please”. Now that I’ve read it…the blurb has NOTHING on the book. Katya Tocci is a good girl, from an upper class family that raised her to be prim and proper. Her daily wardrobe of chinos, cardigans, and pearls, combined with her conservative hairstyles and natural makeup, absolutely SCREAM “boring”. A sought after baker by trade, little Katya Tocci hasn’t experienced much in her life, but a night in with her roommate and a scandalous dating profile later…her life is about to change.

Liam Edenhoff and Wulfric Stone are wealthy, successful businessmen. Gorgeous, built, and both purveyors of what it takes to make a woman moan, they both set their sights on the pretty little “good girl”. What happens next is sure to set your mind on fire, and your body ablaze.

“The bottom can’t fall out of a dream, Wulf. There’s no market for them. Sorry, but it’s one thing even you can’t buy and sell - my dream is all my own, purchased, paid for, no returns, exchanges, or refunds.” - Katya Tocci

This book…holy hell. I don’t even know where to begin! I was hooked from the first paragraph, to the very last. Ms. Fantôme’s writing style is different from a lot of authors out there, but it flowed smoothly from front to back, beginning to end. I can’t see this book being written any other way. The characters were well developed, each with their own personalities, quirks, and likability, but each one was so different from the other. The plot and storyline were amazing, and executed in a glorious fashion that kept me on the edge of my seat, and completely dropped my jaw at the end. Once I started reading, there was no stopping. I had to get to the next chapter…the next page…the next sentence…the next word. And the ending? Holy. Hell. Batman. Talk about a cliffhanger of epic proportions. I’ve already read the last two chapters twice, just to make sure I got it all… So, in closing I must say again…Well played, Ms. Fantôme…well played.

Five Amazing Stars! Katya is your average good girl living with her roommate. Katya's roommate makes a profile for Katya on a dating website that is totally the opposite of who she is. Liam is her neighbor and owner of a sex club when he sees her profile he asks her out on a date. Liam brings out Katya inner bad girl and wants to see more of her. Katya runs into her childhood neighbor Wulfric and he wants to take her out. Katya is now dating two men when she realizes that feelings are becoming involved. She must now choose between Liam and Wulfric but which one will she choose? I was hooked from the very first chapter of this book and read it in one evening. The characters were well defined and I really enjoyed their interaction with one another.I was definitely left wanting more! The storyline of this book and the writing are amazing! I have read previous books by this author and she is one I will definitely read more from! I absolutely cannot wait for the next book in the Twin Estates series! I highly recommend this book!

Neighbors – Stylo Fantome
5+++ stars

This has got to be my favorite Stylo Fantome book to date. While I was with her and Jameson Kane in almost the very beginning I have to say Liam and #teamtacos is my favorite. Okay but let me tell you about this story. WOW!

It’s hot, did I already say that? Well, it’s hot, funny, it gets you in the feels. It is Stylo, so there’s an evil genius twist. She likes to play with our heads, ya know.
Katya’s pretty vanilla. Boring even. But her crazy roommate Tori signed her for an online dating site. Sure, she’d do it just for s**t and giggles and never expected anything to come from it. Well, come from it, something did.

While she’s never been a huge fan of the wild side but when she’s basically challenged into a date with Liam she gets a little more than she expected. While she and Liam become close there’s a friend from her past that comes into the picture. She and Wulferic were friends when they were younger but she hasn’t seen him in years. Now, she’s in this crazy a*s triangle and she doesn’t know what to do.

Fortunately, for her, she doesn’t have to choose. You’re not getting anymore from me than that. You want to know what happens with two hot af guys, a totally come out of her shell woman, and tacos? You need to read this book. You won’t put it down once you start it, I promise. If you’ve never read Stylo before now’s your chance to get acquainted. Then you need to meet Jameson Kane in the Kane Trilogy. Trust me on this!

Neighbors is the coolest book I have read lately. Not only is it erotic with perfect spicy scenes, it’s a page turner with the dialogue. Dialogue so sexy, it’s sure to touch all your erogenous zones in the perfect spot.

Sex, love and friendship is a quirky thing. Especially when Katya Tocci, Liam Edenhoff and Wulfric Stone create the strangest and most unusual romantic triangle ever. The storytelling is imaginative without being thrown in your face.

First, I thought I was reading a paranormal romance. I was thinking to myself, it has to explain the twists. All the parts of the story are moving around, yet they are not moving together. That’s the beauty of this story. You will find yourself trying to define the subgenre of this romance.

Katya shimmers like Cinderella – a fairy tale come true. Her fairy godmother aka roommate hooks her up with an online dating profile to create excitement in her life. What she gets is havoc. Suddenly, she goes from the girl next door who blends in to a sexual exhibitionist and her dating card full.

It’s a surprising emotionally charged story. You will experience a sense of secrecy and vagueness as the story seems unconnected. You will not be able to put this one away. As you read more and more the mystery will deepen. It will perplex you and leave you stunned.

Lastly, thank you for not giving the premise of the story away in the blurb. I like great shock value. Neighbors most definitely delivers it!

I thought it was very sexy! There are some things in here that I normally do not enjoy, but this author has made them fun for me. First the stereotypical love triangle. Somehow Fantome has written it so that it's not overly obvious to anyone who the heroine will choose. Both men are equally sweet and suave. I didn't choose one side and hate the other like certain YA novels haha. The last would be the to be continued kind of narrative. I'm usually not a fan of them. I like cliffhangers, because they make me want to jump to the next book, but tbc usually makes me go "eh, i'm not into reading stories like a tv show..." What I don't think worked so well was the multiple POVs. I love them, but this story had them change mid chapter. That's just too weird.

I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily reviewing.

4 Stars from Brianna!

This is my very first introduction to Stylo Fantome and this author definitely made an impression on me. This book was... different from what I usually read yet was quite intriguing and kept me on my toes the entire journey. Stylo Fantome takes readers on a journey with one girl as she discovers who she is, what she wants, and how she finds herself stuck between the past and present.

Neighbors was a fun, sweet, intense, passionate, sexy, and captivating story about one girl and the sexual exploration and discovery she follows. In this book, we meet the sweet, safe and slightly boring Katya. What starts out as an online dating profile with her friends turns into so much more. And now, she has not one, but two men that have pushed their ways into her life. Each offering her something... different. Each making her push her boundaries and broaden her horizons.

Katya, Liam, and Wulf are going to take you on a journey that is unexpected, unconventional and full of complications yet you can't help but be glued to the pages as this story progresses. The ending that I got was a total shocker and I am on pins and needles to see if we get more of this story... and more importantly, where Katya goes from here.

Stylo Fantome definitely left me with a wicked book hangover and she may have led me to slightly stalk... erm check her out to see what I can expect in the future.

I recommend this book!

Title: Neighbors
Author: Stylo Fantome

I've often wondered what would happen if I were to create a fake profile and exaggerated a few points (alright, maybe lie on a few) - and, lo and behold, Neighbors is pen to paper the result of what happens when two friends get together one evening and one believes that the other is missing out on life. How can I compare this novel to any of the other that Stylo Fantome has so far written? Quite frankly, I can't. I'm thrilled to sat that it's completely different than any other so far. Where her previous releases leaned on the dark genres (with some action or drama undertones), I was at first surprised, then captivated, by the lighter, comedic and especially seductive tone of the writing style.

As hilarious as I found Katya and Tori in their relationship, everything did a 180 once Liam and Wulfric - hot as h€ll took on a whole new meaning! Never has 'love thy neighbor' become oh so sexy and the perfect sought after desert. My only complaint, and patient has never been one of my strongest points no matter how much time I work on it, is having to wait for the second instalment to find out more on what is to become of this trio.

Neighbors , never in my life was I blessed with any neighbors like Katya was !! First during her childhood and then again as an adult - lucky lady she is. As an adult Katya is pretty plain jane , boring and stuffy and definitely NOT outgoing and adventurous. Her roommate insists on trying to help her out of her shell , then she adds a bit more excitement to the dating profile and you won't believe what Katya ends up doing.

I was very much hoping for a team threesome type read BUT it wasn't that at all. Liam was the now neighbor , he had a great job and was great at helping Katya out of her shell. He had a way about it and I adored him so much. Her run in with the old neighbor Wulf , well he was your typical arrogant rich guy BUT he did take an interest in Katya so of course she felt the need to explore. Explore she did , she felt wrong but was convinced otherwise and her weeks of bliss were amazing to read , a bit frustrating as well. I was team Liam and I hated the amount of emotion wasted on Wulf. He may have redeemed himself at one point but then there is another twist. Now I had assumed and expected a couple things , of course none of that happened !! Being that this is a duology we are left hanging a bit and I am definitely intrigued enough to read on.

Katya Tocci is a successful 23 year old baker, who resided in a hustle and bustle of a big city yet is living such a mundane life. Things change once she uploads her picture and profile up on a dating website.

From then on, her boring life is turned upside down, literally. Two different men in particular begin to occupy her time – one completely different from the other. The one thing that they do have in common however is that they both obliterate Katya’s inhibitions.

They challenge her in ways beyond her imagination. But of course Katya couldn’t possibly stay with both. I couldn’t even imagine how she was going to choose between the two because they both had so many redeeming qualities until they DIDN’T. How disappointing…really.

It sure did make for a good story though. I seriously couldn’t book this book down! The intricate relationship between each couple was what caught and held my attention. And even if this first installment didn’t end as I would’ve wanted, I enjoyed every moment!

Neighbors is definitely a well-written, intriguing and provocative story. One that I would 100% recommend. I. CAN. NOT. WAIT…to read more!

Well, the characters were well developed, unique, and all became likeable until the very end. This is a very sexy story, full of intrigue, and very entertaining. I usually utilize a strong filter for what I allow to enter my spiritual self through my senses, so I found it difficult often to accept some of the vulgarity of language and scenarios, yet having my curiosity piqued I continued reading. The author had hooked me, as I had to see how Katya would would choose between her two lovers. Manipulation, power, control, deception, naivety, and ecstasy are expertly interwoven throughout the book and interchanged between characters. If you can enjoy a well written freshly new and unexpected story that may or may not have a happy ending, then this book is for you. Both sexes will enjoy this titillating tale, so I challenge males and females alike to see if they are able to read without becoming hooked as well. A book that will become glued to your hand or ears depending on how you normally digest the art of story telling. This is a feast, interspersed with deserts that are so delectable that your will to stop and walk away is lost. I found that I could not help myself from finishing the whole thing within a few days, enjoying every taste, even though some tastes were hard to swallow. I often wanted to knock some sense and compassionate empathy into a character or two. Oh the ecstasy and sorrow falling in love brings!!!!.
