Not going to give details because I don't want to ruin the story for you, but through a series of events they end up married and their relationship starts to grow and become more serious. Landon Winchester, the competition, is doing everything in his power to destroy Charlie including the use of Tilly, and now Penny. This is a book thats hard to put down. So go on buy it, read it, enjoy it. I was given an advanced copy for an honest review.

I really liked this book! Charlie is a single dad in a bind and in comes Penny. She is in a rock and hard place. She needs money for her dad who is in the hospital and thinks the only way is to target a CEO. What she did. It count on is Charlie Thorne being a good man. She has a conflict of conscience and starts to fall for him. When she gets tested by Landon, Charlie's rival, she chooses to fight back and fight for what she wants!! Love the relationship between Tilly and Charlie. Overall loved the book, the characters, the progression of the storyline and some of the twist and turns. Would highly recommend!

Penny is desperate and has a plan to get "revenge" and a pay back. What she doesn't know is that the person that she targets is so much more than dollar bills.
Charlie is very private and a giving person. He wants the best for his family but doesn't want anyone messing that up.
Penny finds a way of helping Charlie and finds herself married and a mom?! Yes it is true...
Things are not ease but I love the HEA and the extended stories.. Thank you Holly. You left me wanting more after the 2nd extra story.

Street smart 19 yo. Penny... Charlie late twenties Billionare... His 11 yo. daughter Tilly (sweetest smart little girl ever). This book was an all-over-the-place read for me. Great story but I definitely felt some holes. It wrapped up well and it was fun sweet story. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. I did like the way the author spoke to me through a very respectable dual POV perspective. Actually, it was written and edited very well! Just missing some details regarding Penny's friend "Robbie" and was Charlie a player or not? Contradicting statements at times.

Penny Walters is the new PA to billionaire Charlie Thorne. On day one, she overhears a child services agent threatening to remove Charlie's daughter from his home. It only takes a moment to claim that she is Charlie's wife and have him go along with it. This is the start of a wild ride she could never has foreseen...especially when her reason for being there in the first place isn't exactly on the up and up.

I enjoyed getting to know these characters and the realness and fallability that made it that much better.

They have a little more in common than you would think in the beginning.
Penny has revenge planned for Charlie, She and her roommate Robbie have it all planned out. In their minds he is a ruthless billionaire.
The plan of revenge changed when Penny walked into a meeting in his office and to try and help him took on the part of his wife, and he went along with it. Along the way Penny learns who Charlie really is and he is not what she thought. Will she continue with her revenge or will she listen to her heart?

This book is so full of tension and unexpected twists and turns that it is hard to put down.
You will turn every page in anticipation of what will happen next.
Sometimes situations seem so futile that one no longer believes in a happily ever after for Penny and Charlie.
But Holly Hart is leading you with a reliable hand through all these confusions and tribulations.
This book contains steamy scenes, blackmail, but also very affecting and emotional scenes and is nothing for the faint hearted! ;-)

Charlie and Penny. Charlie is a hot, alpha, business man. Penny is a young over her head assistant. When Charles is in trouble, Penny makes a fast, rash decision. She says that she is his wife. Charlie plays along but is not happy. Penny is there to steal from him, to help her dying father. Charlie has a man after him and he will do anything to hurt Charlie. He gets the dirt on Charlie and threatens her. Penny will do anything that she can to save Tilly. Does this very, unlikely couple be able to make a go of it? A fun read. Great job Holly.

I enjoyed reading about Penny and Charlie. The challenges they faced to keep his company from being taken from him and more importantly his daughter being put into foster care. I liked that Penny, even at the age of 19; was smart enough to get proof against Charlie's enemies, and save the day. The author resolved the issue of lies, without any screaming or abusive reactions; which I found to be good. I liked the story and would recommend it to someone who likes a little suspense with their romance.

Holy Hatt is an amazing writer! I love her books!! Penny walks into her new boss Charlie's office and finds Child Services threatening to take his daughter away from him. She jumps in pretending to be his wife. Now they have to sell this charade to the public so that Charlie can maintain custody of his daughter Tilly. Charlie is finding that he is falling for Penny even though she is very young and innocent! Is she really innocent? There are a few twists and turns! This is a great read! I would definitely recommend it!

They may have started faking it, but they turned out to be the real deal. Charlie was pretty hot --he has the looks, brains, and money, but without the pompous, arrogant, self-entitled personality you'd expect from a guy worth as much as he is. Plus, the heart-melting fact that he's such a great dad, doesn't hurt at all. Penny--what a contradiction she was in the beginning. A would-be con artist with a heart of gold--so glad things worked out for her in the long run.

Recommended read, especially for fans of Ms. Hart.

Definitely a 5+ stars read. I loved everything about this book. The chemistry burnt up the pages and the adrenaline rush waiting for the other shoe to drop was a rush. Charlie was, without a doubt, the total alpha package. What more could you want in a book? This one has everything in all the right places, strong but soft where it counts most dominant male, a tough courageous mature heroine, and for kicks a precocious daughter. Oh, and let's not forget the most important part, lots of sexy steam. It's seriously great guys.

Penny and Charlie are electric, like the kind of hot where I tried to swipe my Kindle the wrong way I got so flustered! Their retraction is inevitable from the moment they meet. Obvi, Penny is hiding a pretty big secret, and I could not take the tension waiting for the other shoe to drop. A tore through the pages even as I felt dread in my stomach. Loved Charlie's relationship with his daughter. Super "awwe." I honestly enjoyed this book, it even managed to keep me distracted on a turbulent flight. I love this steamy single dad read. Charles finds himself with CPS questioning him on how he is raising his daughter. Penny happens to hear this and decides to lie and say she's his wife. What's a man that loves his daughter to do but go along but he doesn't know Penny was after his money or at least some of it. Can these to pull off faking being married? Will they develop feelings beyond the fake? Can they trust and love when their relationship starts out on lies? I received this as an arc and am volunteering my honest review. I highly recommend this book.

Charlie and Penny are thrown together when she tries to help him out by pretending to be his wife. It leads to a real chance at happiness for them both and for his little girl.

I really enjoyed the story and the characters. It has a sweetness to it as well as great chemistry between the characters. She has her own issues but you can tell she is a good person trying to do the best she can. Charlie is also trying to be a good father. He really falls for her and you can feel the love.

Good story, but the kid's positioning was too convenient. The Plan was written in a way that stretched suspension of disbelief. Good use of steamy scenes to further the connection between the main characters. Penny is given more street smarts than most "New York virgins," but her back story doesn't match what her environment, overwhelmingly produces...it's an interesting use of artistic license. Perhaps there's a tipping point where things begin to go off the rails, or becomes eye-rollingly convenient (and predictable) as a result.

Fantastic book! I just fell in love with Charlie Thorne and thought that 19 years old Penny was hilarious if not believable in her role to try and con a billionaire. The story line moves relatively smooth and at just a fast enough past to keep you interested and turning pages. I really look forward to reading more books by Me. Hart. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good read with laughter, heartbreak and love.

The story was cute and fun to read. Penny wanted to con Charlie out of millions. When she walked in on a conversation, she took advantage of the situation. What she didn't count on was falling for Charlie and his daughter. Charlie was a great guy. He was not the guy Penny thought he was. She realized there was more to him. There was a good plot and good characters. It may have been predictable in some spots but the story was entertaining.

There is Charlie a gorgeous alpha businessman and then there is Penny, the naïve assistant who is so over her head. Charlie gets into trouble and Penny make a quick decision and says she is his wife. For some reason, Charlie plays along with the charade but is not happy. They are all just protecting their loved ones but will it work out? There is lots of intrigue in this book. I enjoyed it, hopefully you will as well. It was a fun read.

I was not ready for this book. My expectations were thrown out the window in just the first chapter. What I thought was going to be the typical fake relationship to save your money turned into a crazy, exciting drama with so many tangents. Even with so many various plots, Hart writes it in a way where it all makes sense and ties in together just at the right moment. It's sweet, sexy and suspense all in one! Recommended read!

The story was written so well and is very interesting that I couldn't wait to see how it played out. I received an advance reader copy of this book and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great story with no major twists and turns, with insta-lust between Penny and Charlie turning into more, the chemistry between them was clear from the beginning, all that was missing was the trust. Loved the communication between Charlie and his daughter.
Wonderful to see a young lady stick to her beliefs and morals and not pulled to the dark side.
Well done.

I really like this book. The characters are willing to talk about doubts, and they don't jump to the worst conclusion and refuse to consider that they could be wrong. The characters are likable and not plastic. The HEA works and I'm ready for the authors next book.

I loved the storyline, very original. Charlie is as a very unique Billionaire. A great father. Penny starts out with a vendetta against Charlie, but once she sees who he really is it doesn't take her long to realise she can't do it. She is in a difficult spot, with her dad needing medical treatment he can't afford. But in the end love wins and because of the Love Charlie has for her it has a HEA. The sex is pretty hot too. Great writing, Holly!

She falls for Charlie instead. A rival is trying to take over Charlie's company. Just as Charlie discovers Penny's plans to steal from him, Penny stumbles onto information that will help Charlie keep his company and his daughter. HEA, no cliff hanger.

I loved this story with great characters, romance and intrigue. The premise is unlikely, but enjoyable. They made a great couple and the ending was great. I enjoyed the writing style of this piece and how she gradually revealed each character. I found it suspenseful but the the characters​ were also refreshingly direct in their actions with one another. If you read don't miss the extended epilogue and extra kinky scene?

Holly Hart does well with contemporary romances with a twist, as we read in Faking It. A younger woman, an older man and the stakes are high. Not everything can be read at face value and the story is paced well. I had fun reading this story. Another great read.
