Savage Rising (Redemption Harbor Series Book 2) (Volume 2)

Savage Rising by Katie Reus is an exciting romantic suspense from the beginning to the end. The prologue introduces Zac, the hero but switching in the first chapter to Olivia and her young daughter. The danger quickly materializes for these two. As she works to keep her past from hurting her daughter Zac and Olivia’s paths cross. From there the danger, the suspense and the romance escalates.

What an amazing addition to the resurrection series. The plot is well-written, the characters are disarming and there is a good balance between the action and the romance. All of this is what I expect from Katie Reus and she never fails to deliver. She has done so marvelously this time.

Savage Rising is the 2nd installation in the new Redemption Harbor Series. I love this series! This can be read as a stand alone, but I think it always is great to know the characters and some back story. This story brings us Zac Savage and Olivia Carter. She has had a sketchy past but now as a mom is determined to lead a good life for her young daughter Valencia. Her past has returned to blackmail her and threaten her daughter. Zac is a former military badass who works for Redemption Harbor and is brought in to be her undercover partner. The sparks fly, the attraction is real and the story is great. I can't recommend this enough. I could not put it down!

I so loved this book and these characters. Savage Rising is the 2nd book in the Redemption Harbor series and it is a great book! I could go on and on about how intense Zac is or how brave Olivia is and how adorable Valencia is, but I won't. The ensemble cast of characters in this series is special. They are the glue that holds these books together. Each person adds a layer to the friendship and family that keeps this group of misfits together. The sarcastic wit throughout is also greatly appreciated. All these characters are bad ass and I love it!

This is book two of the “Redemption Harbor” series. This book could be read as a standalone but the introduction in the first book is too good to pass up. I really enjoy reading this author; the romantic suspense is written nicely as with most of her books, I love the action that she brings us. I love that the author gives us strong heroines and hero’s that give us good dreams.

I love how the author writes the action from the word go! Savage Rising has a lethal level of heat and suspense. Brilliant main characters with skills and chemistry that play off of one another well. This is a great addition with all of the fundamentals that enhance a romantic suspense. A copy of this book was graciously provided by netgalley. If you enjoy any of this author's Red Stone Security Series, you'll love this one!

What happens when you throw together a strong but vulnerable woman and a hard core alpha male? Sparks and fireworks, that's what! Wrap this up with some TLC of the family kind and you have the makings of a story that grabs you from the first page and won't let go until the very last! Captivating storyline with good action scenes compliment this romance. I love a strong, capable man who has a real soft side that makes him an attractive all round package, delivered by Katie with 'incredible clarity'! Fast paced read with heart warming scenes will keep you reading late into the night!

Redemption Harbor series book 2 Savage Rising was a fantastic addition to this series. Olivia, a former thief and current mother is being blackmailed. Luckily Olivia's friendship with Skye (Redemption Harbor Book 1 heroine) gives her the ability to work "safely with the blackmailer. Savage, our aptly named hero, will pose as her super possessive boyfriend and partner in crime. I don't want to give anything away- but sparks will fly as they work their way towards an actual relationship despite all the danger. I cannot wait for the next installment in this series.

A guy from here past, and he won't take no, send Olivia and daughter back to Redemption Harbor. Their is only one person who can help its Savage. The tension is tight, for what needs to be done to keep them safe. Oh the other hand the tension has sparks flying for the love between them. Kathie has once again written a great story, that won't disappoint her readers. Once started you are held to the story till the end. This is the Second book in the Redemption Harbor series but can easily be read as a standalone.This is Zac and Olivia's story they team up when someone threatens her daughter.They pretend to be together but what will they do when the attraction to each other keeps getting stronger.They both have plenty of baggage and that will just complicate things even more this is a great addition to the series and I really enjoyed it I loved these two together and Zac was so sweet when he was with Valencia we really got to a softer side of him.

Savage Rising (Redemption Harbor #2) I am loving this series by Katie Reus.... This is Olivia and Savage's (Zac) story.. She is a single mother and a strong h ... He is his name Savage a H with a soft center he doesn't even know he has. It is great revisiting all the other Redemption Harbor friends and adding some new ones. Valencia, Martina (will she have a story with Douglas?) What about Gage and Nova "the voice"? Brooks and Darcy? I just can't wait to see who has the next story. I couldn't put this book down.

I thought the first book of this series was awesome but this next part in the series was AMAZING. This book had some great twist and turns that I didn't see coming. The whole Redemption Harbor crew are a bunch of sexy individuals, Savage seems to have this scary, deadly while being sexy thing going on. I just couldn't put it down. This book was also my fave so far because of Valencia and her situation. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

Zac does not mess around, "he smashed his fist into Kyle’s pretty face once—hard. “That’s for hurting what’s mine.” A soft, deadly growl of words." I loved when Zac teased, "he grinned. “I like the sound of grown-up time. And now you need to prepare for the show of your life.” Her cheeks flushed in that way that pushed him over the edge, making him smile even bigger. “Not that kind of show, pervert.” I enjoyed this book, I fell in love with Zac.

Olivia is such an amazing person and mom. She will do anything to protect her daughter. Zac Savage is a complicated man and a questionable past, but will stop at nothing to protect Olivia and her daughter Valencia. Falling in love with Olivia was not part of the job. Can Zac keep her safe and pursue a future with her. This book has everything you could want. Cant wait to find out what happens next.

A mother trying to protect her daughter from past mistakes and a man assigned to aid and shield them makes a great read from this author. Hot hero, determined leading lady, drawn together on the pages of this thrilling, non-stop adventure.
Katie Reus always has a powerful story to tell and this one doesn't disappoint. An excellent , entertaining way to spend a couple hours.

Enjoyable read! The story line is full of action, suspense and growing attraction. Olivia and Zac have sexual chemistry, but keep fighting it. Can the team help bring down the enemy and set Olivia free? Love reading books by this author, they are always a fantastic adventure!
