Beasting Beauty (Possessing Beauty Book 1)

First-person can be troublesome, especially when the narrative switches between characters. It's difficult for most readers to relate to character(s) if the narrative doesn't feel genuine and appealing. Sorry to say the voices of narrators were neither in this story.

Furthermore, when narration is geared toward tween-age intellect and content is for mature audience... Sadly lacking in sophistication and produces shudders of the unpleasant variety. And I'm not the prudish-type.

First person narration of erotica really should be done in an adult voice and directed towards mature audience. 'Nuff said.

Naughtiest of them all. Once upon a time there was this beast of a man raging with lust and dark anger. Only a ball could cure what ailed this brooding, cursed prince and let him become a king on his own. That's when he's thunderstruck by this innocent beauty who tempts the beast, and his masculinity, out of him.

Oh, this novella is going to delight your inner princess and teach her a few things about panty-snapping steamy times. Because this fairy tale is not for grandmas, that's for sure! castles with towers, four princes as hot as the Sun, a curse that cannot be broken save by true love, and a domineering man who claims a bookish, aroused princess in fierce, hot, demanding ways, be they in a garden or on a bed.

Wow, that was one naughty tale as old as wedding nights :-D It's quick, light and smutty. I had a delicious time with growling Logan and sweet Isla, and my only complaint is that it was too short :-( Luckily, there's more exciting princes on the way!

This was a good retelling of the classic beauty and the beast story, set in modern day and if both beauty and the beast had fallen in love at first sight. Prince Logan was cursed by a woman 4 years ago because of his player ways, while Princess Isla is an 18 year old virgin. Both are at a ball put on by her father to try to find appropriate suitors for his daughters. Logan and Isla immediately are drawn to each other from across the ballroom. Logan feels so strongly that she is the one for him, that he goes back to his castle (after secretly spending the night with her, of course), and immediately changes his ways so he can prove to Isla's father that he's the one for her. While the plot wasn't very developed (as is so often the case with insta-love stories), the two had good chemistry and knew they were just meant for each other. This was a fast read and I would probably read additional books in this series.

This is a great modern day royal instalove romance...with Isla who is a beautiful, smart but inexperienced Princess and Logan a handsome, sexy Prince with a hidden dark secret...... both are required to marry out of duty but when they meet at a Suitors Ball they discover in each other so much more than they ever had hoped or expected....

Shorter stories often leave me feeling dissatisfied but this was a really great read and there was so much packed into it's pages....I loved the three princesses and their sibling interactions and I swooned over Logan and his three hot, arrogant prince friends... I am hopeful they will all have their own stories told in future books....the relationship between Isla and Logan was suitably romantic and passionate not to say downright dirty ....the fact that they took it in turns to provide the narrative to the plot ensured that both sides of their burgeoning relationship were revealed.....

A delightful, well written , fast paced, funny and very steamy book ...I am so looking forward to reading the next in the series.... I received a copy of this book as an ARC from the author in exchange for a fair and honest review...

King Lucian has 3 daughters and in the opening pages they are getting ready to attend a ball which will introduce them and other eligible princesses to eligible princes from other kingdoms. Prince Logan is attending with 3 of his friends. He must find a wife or he will never become king, even though he rules his country. 4 years ago a witch cursed him and now he's a 'beast', an angry intolerant young man who is uninterested in sex (where he used to be quite the Casanova!). But when he walks in the ballroom and sets eyes on King Lucian's youngest, Ilsa, he pretty much falls in love and must have her. He's interested in a woman, in kissing, holding, sex, again and if he finds the right woman, the curse could be broken. Ilsa, ever the rebel, is also smitten with Logan, regardless of his reputation. Will they become a couple? Will they get an HEA and break the curse? Read the book!!

“Beasting Beauty” is definitive Madison Faye at her absolute finest! This flawless storyline combines the classic fairytale with one smoking hot hero, an innocent but quirky heroine and enough heat to start a raging inferno. Though this is first of three books in the series, there is definitely an independent HEA ending and no cliffhangers that would force you to buy another book to find out what happens to the main characters in this book. There are, teasers, however, that will make you want to read the other ones to find out what happened with the supporting characters in this novel while the two main characters were having their adventures, as the storylines cross frequently!

While I, personally, am an extensive reader and like a bit more plot and character development, I believe Ms. Faye did a pretty good job with the character development and plot in the short story line she gave herself to work with. There was much more that could have been done, but that being said, the book had enough background and character development that it was not just a series of erotic encounters with no backgound or connection, so I did feel like I got to read a complete story, with some steamy sex scenes, not just a collection of steamy sex scenes!

I absolutely adore this story. I love Madison Faye's twist on the fairy tale "Beauty and the Beast." Its steaming hot, sexy, and romantic as hell. Watching the change in Isla and Logan both is remarkable and leaves me begging for more. I cannot wait to see what happened to her sisters and friend.
Isla is a quiet bookworm and absolutely hates being a princess. It's something she never got. Her father is forcing her and her sisters to attend a matchmaking ball to find them princes to marry. Within minutes of arriving, she meets the eyes of one of the scariest princes of all, Logan. He's been cursed and believes that he'll be stuck in beast mode for the rest of his life. But, like the fairy tale, Isla changes him and he's fallen for her with one glance. After four years of being a beast, he's finally found peace and will do anything to have his queen by his side.

Can Isla break the curse that has plagued Logan for the last 4 years and find her happy ending with her beast or will their happy ending allude them? I really enjoyed this short insta love tale the characters are interesting and the scenes between Isla and Logan are super sexy, another great book by Madsion Faye but I expected nothing less. Loved the immediate chemistry between Princess Isla and Prince Logan. Logan was cursed for being promisucuous.  Islam was a virgin attending her first ball to find a husband with her sisters. As soon as these two meet sparks immediately fly. Madison Faye is phenomenal at writing a story with a pure alpha male dominating his woman (in the best possible way) and she brings that to the fore in this latest novella.  I absolutley cannot wait for the rest of the books in this series. Such a sweet and steamy story, I always enjoy reading the books the author creates!! Beasting the beauty is a quick, hot, insta love/lust with very loveable characters!

Logan, the cursed prince/beast is an Alpha personality, dominant and very possessive from the first moment he saw our heroine Isla the sweet, rebellious princess. The story will win you from the first pages and generally, you'll going to love all the steamy, hot scenes and the romantic dialogues.

If you are searching for a modern sweet fairytale then look no further I'm pretty sure that you're going to love it as much as I did and of course, I'm looking forward to reading the next great story of the series!

This one brings the heat, alright. Beautiful, young Princess Isla is swept off her feet by the dark and frightening Prince Lucien. He's positively beastly - in more ways than one. They meet at a ball and find themselves alone on a balcony only minutes later. What follows is hot, hot, hot (and definitely for ADULTS ONLY!) If the Beauty and the Beast movie had been this spicy, I'd have gone to see it in the theaters repeatedly!

This is a quick, fun read, not a novel to sink your teeth into. That's really my only complaint about the book - I wish it had been a bit longer with two or three more encounters between this beast and his beauty. I can't wait to read the rest of the series and find out about the other beauties and their beasts. Three cheers for grown-up fairy tales!

This story is Disney princess meets rich high school heiress. If it could get more trite and unrealistic I'd like to know how. Evidently somewhere in a kingdom not too far away, with internet and kindle, the royalty still believe in keeping virgin daughters while their sons slut it up all over. Those virgins seems to drop their panties in a heartbeat given the chance though. Considering the sheer amount of royalty at the ball they all seem to revel in calling each other by their titles even during poorly written sex scenes by someone that needs an anatomy chart since one thing in particular is physically impossible unless your clitoris is a few inches long. If you're into reading something utterly ridiculous, unbelievable in the extreme that seems like it was written by a horny, fifteen year old girl daydreaming in chemistry class this is for you. Seriously, the vocabulary and sentence structure is so bad that she would have gotten a D in writing class. It was so bad I couldn't even laugh at it. Who says, "Oooooh, Prince!" when a guy named Logan is fingering you on his lap?

Madison has started this series with a bang. This is a updated adult version of Beauty & the Beast. This is Prince Logan & Princess Isla's story. Princess Isla is marrying age as are her two sisters. Her father is having a ball to find eligible princes for them & other single princesses. Isla hates balls, but when she sees Logan, all of that goes out the window. Prince Logan has been cursed for the past four years & has been living in darkness. When he first sees Isla she is his light & he knows she is the one. Madison Faye has done it again. This first book in her new Beauty and the Beast series was really good! It is the story of Princess Isla and Prince Logan. Logan was cursed 4 years earlier by a witch and has tried to avoid people because of this inner monster that keeps threatening to take over him. He reluctantly goes to a "suitors" ball hosted in a neighboring kingdom and as soon as he enters the ballroom, he sees Her. He has to have her and will do everything to possess her. Isla feels drawn to the big beast of a prince as well. It is instant lust and super sexy. I can't wait for the rest of the series.

The romance between Logan and Isla is hot and fast in this "Beauty and the Beast" themed book. They're hit hard with Insta-love and their attraction quickly turns into panty-ripping lust and risky public intimacy.

So you aren't disappointed about what kind of book this is--it isn't a shifter story and other than Logan being cursed by a witch, there isn't anything paranormal about it. It focuses on how they meet at the royal ball thrown by Isla's father and all the sweaty, filthy, flexible things they do AFTER it ends. Logan is Prince a cursed short tempered beast turned by a witch. He doesn't give a girl a second look for four years until he is forced to go to the Suitor's Ball with his best friends. Once he lands eyes on Isla he just know he has to have her.
Isla doesn't care to attend the ball she is 18 a Princess attending with her sisters.
As soon her eyes find Logan she can't pull away she feels a connection.
I was pulled from the start into all the characters loved the connection between Logan and Isla.
Logan is fantastic love the beast!
Only thing I have to say is I wish it was longer! The story was scorching off the pages. Definitely recommend reading!

Holy crap did this little series start off with a bang!!

So this is the story of the youngest sister and the Prince, aka The Beast. Yes, think Beauty and the Beast here people. However, this is a little different.

These two can't be more different if we tried. I mean seriously, the cursed prince compared to the sweet, innocent, loving caring Princess?? They can't mix and work out right??? WRONG! This is Beauty meets the Beast and do sparks fly!! Considering this is the first book, it totally makes me wonder what is going to happen next ..... I am not sure what the author is going to have happen next to try and top this one!!

I have got to say that I'm loving the start of this "short, fast, over the top, slightly unrealistic, wildly dirty romance with HEA and no cheating series"!

Book #1 introduces you to three sisters who are princesses and Dad decides it is time to find them suitors. Princes from all over come to the ball. The moment Logan and Isla spot each other, the heat flares. And boy does it ever flare! A very cute, quick modern fairytale of a beautiful girl and beast of a man. That cover is SMOKING hot! I would definitely like a Logan for myself! Can't wait for the next one!

I have read a few different versions of the classic fairytale 'Beauty and the Beast,' and I have to admit, none of them made quite an impact. Madison Faye did an awesome job retelling the story. It is very well-written, fast-paced and goes straight to the point.

Off course Madison Faye being who she is, the scorching hot factor is up to the roof! It is insta-love and out of this world. It is sweet, sexy, with a dominant alpha male and an irresistible female.

I think even the pickiest reader will enjoy this one. I highly recommend it!

I love finding new authors, especially ones as awesome as Madison Faye. This whole Possessing Beauty series has me on a panty melting edge. I love fairy tale retellings especially when they’re twisted and smutty and this series has that and so much more. Princess Isla and Prince Logan set the tone for this naughty series and it is sexy as hell. A Beauty and the Beast retelling, Prince Logan hasn’t been eager to find a woman ever since a witch placed a curse on him, when he lays eyes on innocent virgin, Isla, there is nothing that’s going to get in his way of getting what he needs. It’s a sweet and torrid tale and it’s absolutely instgood! A definite must read.

I'm so enjoying these naughty revamped princess stories. Who out there hasn't wanted to be a princess? Isla is the youngest of 3 daughters, and Logan is a very handsome, yet cursed Prince. Insta-love, here we come, since Isla is being presented with her sisters as eligible for marriage. Logan thinks he's never going to get his happy ever after,, and then they see each other. Another great retelling of the Beauty and the Beast story. It is an insta-love with a curse. I loved Logan. He was aggressive and dominant but caring and considerate. Isla was the fearless (well almost fearless), young, down to Earth princess and a perfect match for Logan. Yes, there is some steamy sex but the story of Logan's redemption I think overshadows the sex and makes it a great quick read. The characters were vibrant and modern. The characters were so vivid I almost wished that they had a bigger story. Isla is a young, inexperienced, intelligent princess that does not want to go to the Suitors Ball but this ball changes her life. Prince Logan is an enigmatic character that is forced to attend the ball knowing no one will want his attendance. Beasting Beauty is a deliciously dark, sexy, and quick read. Prince Logan has given up all hope of ever ridding himself of a curse which has shrouded his life in darkness and rage for four years. Princess Isla would rather be doing anything besides attending the Suitor's Ball that her parents are hosting. But when these two lock eyes, the beast within is unleashed and Isla is the only thing it wants!

I loved this book!!! Short and super sexy. Madison really knows how to write hot, possessive alpha males and innocent strong virginal women with the insta-love and all that comes with it. I can't wait to read more about Logan's friends and Isla's sisters and friend. It seems that all their stories happened at the same Royal ball. I can't wait to read about everyone else's story.

Ahhh Madison Faye has done it again! I'm always excited when a new book gets released because I know Madison delivers! I loved Beasting Beauty so much I couldn't put it down it was short and sexy modern twist to the classic tale as old as time I loved Isla and Logan I loved the story! I loved everything about this! Another Hit Madison can't wait to read more!

Okay, this was sexy, quick to the point, and just damn delicious. The scene on the terrace was my favorite part and got me hot. Now I just need to find me a Prince like Logan.

Logan is a prince who is cursed by a darkness and has lost all hope until seeing a beautiful, smart and inexperienced princess named Isla at a ball. With lots of hot action and sexy times its a five star read to me. I read this as an advance readers copy and volunteer my honest review.

Princess Isla and Logans story are so hot and good a modern day fairy tail are so good could not put the book down so good Prince Logan has a beast inside him and he had been in seclusion for four years but he has to go to a neighboring kingdom for a ball and there he sees Isla and her will take her and never give her back oh yeah. Prince Logan is the 'beast' with a curse (not what you're thinking, but read and find out!!!) who meets Princess Isla at a ball... however this is set in modern times not in Cinderella/Sleeping Beauty days. It totally works too which I was pleasantly surprised at, well done Madison! :)

It's a beauty and the beast retelling for adult must I say more. I loved this book, this was my first time reading a retelling for adults. So Logan (beast) was cursed until he meets Isla (bella)at a ball ( meat maker) and have wild monkey sex. once again I loved this book!!! If I could I would give it 10 stars

This is an absolutely fantastic book. Logan and Isla's story is one hot, hot, hot instalove story! I love this author and can't wait for more in the series. Make sure you have plenty of ice water on hand as you read this one, you are going to need it! I volunteered to read an advanced readers copy of this book because Madison Faye is on my top 10 list of must read authors!

I enjoyed this fresh retelling of the Beauty and the Beast angle. Prince Logan is swoonworthy with anger issues and Princess Isla is a sweet girl who'd rather be reading books then doing the princess thing. But once she meets Prince Logan, let's just say fireworks and one of the hottest hookups I've read in a while. Anger is forgotten and books are very secondary.
