Sorry to say I don't remember everything about these books, only that I really enjoyed them. I haven't re-read them in I don't know how long. Of course they were in paperback at the time & when I cleaned out some books they went to a friend. When I saw they were now on e-book I thought it was time to start to read them again. So I bought the first one, will be starting it as soon as I finish the book I'm in the middle of right now. Give this first one a try & judge for yourself, I think you will enjoy it & will enjoy the rest in this series. Have a good read. S. Cloud

I was often surprised by the unexpected plot development. The reader becomes very involved emotionally with Emerald and her family. The story is suspenseful and sometimes down right scary, but it is also warm and humerous.
humerous too.

Easy to read and captivating! Yasmine creates delightful characters who pull you into their situations so you want to know what happens to them. This is her first stab at fiction and I feel she's got so much more to give. Looking forward to discovering more great writing from Yasmine.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and dashed right out to buy the other two in the series. I highly recommend reading them in order. The books are sophisticated cozies, if you must. The characters are introduced well in the first book and the author makes you care about them---dead and alive. It's not too over the top with sex (per another reader) or ghosts. If you like a little supernatural flavor in your mysteries, you will enjoy these. If you just like cozies, I think you will still like this series. If you like Charmed on TV, you'll like this series and be able to visualize what the author is articulating so very well. I hope she keeps writing and writing and writing. A great series.
