This book is so great! The story is beautiful, the way Vi Keeland put it all together is amazing. I love the fact that she has connected some pieces of all her three books of MMA Fighters and told something about Nico and Vince. She made a full circle and I love it very much. I truly recommend this book like two first books!

The story was good, but predictable. I liked Jax when he was introduced. Rich alpha-male, dirty mouth. I liked that he chose to do what he loves....and that Lily was incorporated the way she was. I didn't feel like the story was very deep or left me guessing...I knew exactly how it was going to end when Lily was introduced. I wouldn't add it to the top of my list, I probably wouldn't even re-read it but I don't regret reading it either.

I was expecting to really like this, but it dragged for me. It wasn't terrible, but nor did it live up to all the glowing reviews. I struggled with the characters - instead of being witty and engaging, they bored me; so I started to page flick, then lost interest :(

WORTH FORGIVING (MMA Fighter Series #3) by VI KEELAND

FIVE STARS

Reviewed by Sharon Thérèse Nuttall for Kindle Friends Forever

The last book in the Fighter Series could easily be read as a standalone. The author has made sure that the reader isn't in the slightest bit confused when describing her characters in a plot so fast moving that I didn't put the light out until silly o’ clock! Reading Jax and Lily’s moving love story is without a doubt, unputdownable.

Jackson Knight, Jax, is not only the blue-eyed boy in every sense of the word; but this smart, successful investor is also the perfect gentleman. All said and done, he’s been well-brought-up in a privileged surrounding. Knight is a name that carries weight with the wealthy and influential. Even though they trust him with their money, we’ll have to see whether or not he can trust them back. He has no qualms about fighting for what he wants though. And I do mean fight! When his plans to invest in a business which specializes in his passion, he didn't bank on having to cross so many peaks and valleys with Lily who inherited half of it from her father. He has just had about as much as he can take with his father’s scandals and what should have been plain sailing complicates by the minute.

The last thing Lily needs in her life is another amorous relationship. She’s still trying to ward off her ex who will not take no for an answer, makes her feel guilty, and virtually makes her life impossible. Caden is a nasty piece of work! The problem is that it’s not so easy for her to steer clear of this jealous and highly aggressive individual. And another problem she has is Jax! She can’t take her eyes of him, she likes his company and it doesn't take them long to find out that they have a lot of things in common. I just loved the mealtime scenes. It has put a new perspective on the word! He worms his way under her skin with all his innuendos, outstanding banter and who doesn't lay their eyes on a body like Jax’s is missing out! Oh my God, I’d definitely let him worm his way under by skin!

I wish Lily could have come across as a stronger person, but I think that this is understandable having been sheltered by an overly protective father all of her life. Jax will make mistakes and she will too, but hers had me floored. Why on earth she trusted who she did, well knowing that this person had been causing so much friction, was beyond me! Grrr…I would have gladly strangled her at this point in the story! The plot is extremely feasible, good and solid, and all the characters are well described. There are some brilliant bite your nails scenes, and the author managed to get me all worked up regarding Jake’s insistence on getting vengeance the way he did. Ooooh yeah! What we all like to read in this type of genre is some hot sex. It isn't hot; it’s sizzling! And what I liked more than anything here was when Jax takes his suit off. This polite and courteous man has a really dirty mouth when undressed and his vocabulary is so vividly described that you'll need to get your fan out. Bravísimo sums this book up to a tea!

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author in return for an honest review.

This is the third book in the MMA Fighter series. I absolutely loved it!

Jackson (Jax) Knight is a character I have been wanting to meet since I met him in Worth the Chance. He is a very determined person, with a mind of his own. He is a fighter in spirit and body, though when he meets Lily St. Claire, he knows he's in for the fight of his life.

Lily St. Claire is a wonderful character. She is full of sass and has a stubborn streak a mile wide. I really liked her a lot. Being the daughter of a renown fighter, she is determined to keep her father's gyms in business, but she is unprepared for her attraction to a charming and sexy fighter.

I was looking forward to reading this story because I had really enjoyed the other two books. This one didn't disappoint! I was hooked from the first page.

The descriptions of the characters and the places were very vivid, and I could picture the scenes with ease. The story is told from the alternating view points of Jax and Lily. I loved Jax and Lily's first meeting; the scene made me giggle! Their attraction was palpable and fairly sizzled on the page. There was one character, however, that really got my hackles raised; his name was Caden. He's a real piece of work! Although he got what was coming to him in the end, I still think he got off a bit too lightly. Another character I didn't care for was Jax's father, who came across as a total donkey's bottom (I don't like to swear). However, I really liked his mother. Although, I personally don't understand her dependence on a lying, cheating pig of a husband, she obviously loves him. Or maybe it's the life she loves. In any case, she is a charming and warm lady. It was nice to meet up with Vince, Liv and Nico again. I was a bit disappointed that Elle wasn't there, but I suppose being a attorney kept her busy elsewhere.

The story was a fast paced roller coaster ride from beginning to end. I am not a huge fan of mixed martial arts, kick boxing or any kind of contact sport containing physical violence. However, the author has written the fight scenes with such detail that I actually felt like I was there watching them. I could even hear the crowd cheering; it gave me goosebumps! I felt sad when I reached the end of the story, because I wanted to keep reading. However, all good things must come to an end at some time or other, and I am now looking forward to reading more books by this author as soon as possible.

Vi Keeland has written another exciting erotic romance that kept me hooked from start to finish! I love her writing pace, which is fast and exciting. The story flowed wonderfully too. I love reading this author's work. She is one of my favourite contemporary romance writers, and I will continue to follow her career with interest.

As this is an erotic romance, there are several scenes of a sexual nature that are rather hot and explicit. Therefore, I do not recommend this book for readers younger than 18. However, if you love hot, steamy erotic romances, this book is for you! - Lynn Worton

I highly recommend reading the whole series, this is the last book about Jax who just found out that he has a brother, Vinny, who you meet in the first book, Worth the Fight, and is the 2nd book in the series, Worth the Chance.

So Jax lives in DC, Senator father has screwed up 20 some years ago, hides a baby from his wife and son, so he goes to NY to take care of some business, allowing him the pleasure of meeting Lily. Their relationship gives me goosebumps. Its just so easy. Even when it was hard, it was easy.

Lily is running her father's gym, still grieving his passing, and trying to find herself in all this mess called life. She is enchanted with Jax as soon as she sees him. His built and eyes. His way of doing things for her and making decisions that he feels he already knows the answers to. She likes the control he takes in the bedroom but the softness he shows in public.

They cracked me up eating off each others plates. They carry conversation easily while sharing a meal. They just clicked and even though there is a huge misunderstanding, Jax never gives up and fixes it. Loved Love Loved this series!!!

Another amazing novel from the amazing Vi Keeland!!!

Before I get into details regarding Worth Forgiving, I’d like to say that I am a huge fan of the MMA Series and of the author herself.

In the MMA Series, each book contributes to the general story’s expansion and we get to see the world from their side. The transition from one book to the next is always careful and elegant. It’s really very beautifully done!

In Worth the Chance (MMA #2) we met Vince and in the end, we got to meet his brother, Jax. He saw Vince’s world and how The News affected him and Liv. But we didn’t see how The News affected Jax. I loved how the story went from Book #2 to Book #3. Even though it’s been a while since I’ve read Worth the Chance, I instantly remembered what The News were and how the Book #2 ended. The first pages remind us of where he had left the story, but also introduce our next leading character Jax. The beginning is really exceptional!!

Now, let’s get into it, shall we?!

Jax is a very determined, sexy and intelligent man, whose world just crumbled. His icon is a fake, his family is he-doesn’t-even-know-what-that-is and his life is a mess. His actions were always scrutinized, but now they are reported all over the social media. He can’t stay at one place. He is being hunted down. Literally. But Jax isn’t one to quit. He changes his life and decides to follow his mind and his heart and start thinking about his dreams. Jax doesn’t give up; he is persistent when it’s about something or a special someone called Lilly..

“I’m not a man who’s easily deterred when there’s something I want either”

Lilly is a beautiful, smart but quite sensitive young woman. She lost her dad and she lost everything. He was her world. Her anchor. She needed someone to lean on, someone to take over for her while she was trying to heal herself, to overcome her grief. However, that person was not the right choice. She wanted to solve few problems and she ended up creating new ones, much more significant ones. Some may consider her weak for relying so much on Caden or for not putting him in his place. But let’s think about it..How different is her reaction from another woman’s in real life? We don’t feel guilty when we hurt someone? Even if he’s a jerk, even if we are the ones who break up with the other person..We don’t feel guilty? We don’t get manipulated from time to time? ~ Lilly is genuine and she represents many real women out there. Not every woman is the kickass woman who doesn’t give a damn, who believes in black and white..

Both Jax and Lilly are also very funny and fun to read about.

“Jackson just seems to slip out when I need to put you in your place” Jax laughs.

“You’re incredibly distracting.Don’t you have someone to beat up or some tycooning to do?”

Not to mention the very hot dialogues transpiring between them!

“You like me here. This close to you. Pinning you so you can’t move. Don’t you?”

“I wrap my legs tightly around him, allowing him to sink even deeper than he already is. I moan his name and Jax responds with a sound that can only be described as a growl.”

Finally, I would like to make some remarks about Reed and Joe. Joe was the weakling throughout the book. He finally did the right thing, but he let it go too far. He had to make difficult decisions, I admit. But, when someone hurts a woman, it’s a no-brainer for me. Family or not. And Reed...Oh Reed! I loved him! He’s the perfect friend with the most amazing advice and his lines were just out of this world!

“S***.” “It could be worse.” “How exactly could that be?” “You could look bad. You look beautiful. It’s a great shot.” “Wonderful.” “Someone is grumpy.” ……..

Worth Forgiving is funny and sexy and is surrounded by amazing characters!!! It’s romantic but sooo hot. It’s funny but it also speaks the truth about discovering yourself, about not losing yourself, about fighting for what you believe in and for the ones you love.

It’s a truly fantastic read and it’s definitely Worth Reading!

“There is no next girlfriend, Angel. Haven’t you realized that yet?”

I am left in complete awe of this brilliant masterpiece that will without warning capture your heart and touch the depths of your soul. Provocative, exquisite, and completely mind-blowing, this story will burn its mantra of loving deeply, fighting courageously, and surrendering completely onto your heart. Prepare to ride a gut-wrenchingly exhausting yet emotionally fulfilling roller-coaster that will challenge you every step of the way. If you are looking for a jaw-dropping storyline, stunning characters, and a pulse-pounding thrill ride with twists and turns you never saw coming, then this is the book for you.

Lilly St. Clair thought she was happy. She had a few bad spots in her life like her beloved father passing away and her friend turned lover who just can’t seem to take the hint that things are over, but otherwise, things are going well enough. The business is thriving albeit with a few hiccups, but it’s still very much alive. She has a wonderful best friend and business partner who are always there to help and provide a shoulder to lean on when things get tough. Life has a way of spicing things up every now and then, and it is also good at giving you exactly what you need even if you never knew you needed it. Just when Lily starts to get comfortable and think that she is exactly where she wants to be in walks Jackson Knight. He throws her entire world out of orbit, and yet she is drawn to him like a bear to honey. Lily has no idea what life has in store for her, but she is more than willing to find out no matter how long it takes.

When I think of a way to describe this story, all I can picture is an uncontrollable yet beautiful hurricane that doesn’t leave destruction in its path but clears the way for a love between two people that is just so perfect and right that nothing can rightfully stand in its way. Lily and Jackson come from two completely different worlds and yet they are drawn to each other and compliment the other in a way that no one else can. The characters found in this story are absolutely breath-taking. Their sheer beauty comes directly from their quiet strength and honest heart. I loved the depth of heart and soul that I felt through each word and each character. It’s not often that you find a work of art that has a vibrancy and life all its own, but this is definitely one that I would classify as such.

This is the first book that I have read by Vi Keeland, and it will not be my last. She completely blew me away with her masterful writing, her uniquely unforgettable characters, and all of the heart that she poured into this tour de force. I didn’t know what to expect when I started reading, but I was very pleasantly surprised at discovering this incredible jewel!

So I really really liked Nico in worth the fight. Then I read worth the chance and I like Vince just as much. But now, now that I've read worth forgiving... I think Jax might take the cake. Actually I'm pretty sure he does. I don't know what it was about him, maybe it's the suit, the kindness, the caring, the pure gentleman vibe you get off his character. But then the minute you close that door you get pure alpha dominant male, so you know I sucked up every single chapter of that. He's so tender with her. He may be alpha and all grrrrrrr-like, but he cherishes Lilly. He is so tender with her. He worships her and you can feel it in the way that Vi has written all their interactions- from the sex to the solid foundation they built just talking and hanging out. I love that the paparazzi is what pushed them to have that extra time around each other, but then it's also what outed their "relationship". But now Caden, that was one thing I wasn't sure where vi was going to take it. Was she going to let it get really brutal, which he hasn't done before, or just a tad bit to flare that possessive and protective streak in Jax. And honestly, I love the way she handled that story line. It flowed perfectly wth the rest of the story, it didn't overshadow the Lilly/Jax love story. It was perfect fuel to their fire. But there was also something about their relationship that just made mfe smile. Reece too. Lilly and Reece and refreshing, but now Lilly and Jax are hot hot hot. There is one complaint I have. I wish Lilly would have stood up to Caden sooner. And maybe thought about the source of her info before she shut down. I mean come on. But yeah she needed to shed the guild really quickly and stop letting him use her. It frustrated me, then Jax would sooth me.

You will love the MMA series by vi. It's not overly technical where you get lost in the terms. It's a perfect balance of the MMA world vs the persons lives of the fighters and how those two worlds go hand in hand. How one can feed and fuel the other. Vi also writes extremely steamy and saucy scenes that may have you performing a second ice bucket challenge. They may not be long (O_o) , super descriptive, so x rated, but they're hot nonetheless. She also has extremely smooth writing and you click with the characters immediately. You get sucked in right away and are left wondering if maybe you should go check out the local MMA gym in your area!

We met Jackson Knight, aka Jax, in Vinny's story Worth the Chance and I was definitely looking forward to reading his story! As Worth Forgiving opens, Jax is still reeling from the events at the end of Worth the Chance and questioning his whole life up to this point. Ironically, although he grew up with everything that Vince never had, Vince has the life Jax always wanted and had the benefit of growing up outside the public eye, able to make choices for himself rather than for what would present the best public image for the Knight family.

Lily St. Claire has grown up around fighters all her life. Her father was one of them until his retirement when he opened a line of gyms dedicated to MMA fighters specifically, and he was Lily's whole world. His unexpected death rattled her to the core and she turned to Caden Ralley, one of the fighters and nephew of the co-owner of Ralley Gyms, for comfort- a choice she now regrets.

When Jax decides to go to NY to escape the media circus that continues to follow him and to evaluate Ralley Gyms as an investment opportunity, sparks fly as soon as he meets Lily. They heat up the pages (and the sheets) but nothing is ever easy. She is still trying to extricate herself from the Caden situation and is in no rush to start another relationship, no matter how sexy Jax may be or what feelings he evokes in her. Too bad Jax has no intention of letting her get away so easily.

Caden is most definitely a dirtbag and an abusive one to boot. Preston Knight is no better in many ways, ever the slick politician more worried about his appearance and how those around him including his family can act to serve him better, regardless of what they may want. The two of these men in Jax and Lily's lives at the same time is a downright menace and events quickly escalate.

I loved that we got to see more of Vince, Liv and Nico, and Ms. Keeland provided us with a wonderful end to this series including a great epilogue set six years into the future. I am going to miss them all, but each of the books in this series is in my "re-read again and again" pile and I am sure the author has more fabulousness (is that a word?) up her sleeve for future books!

WORTH FORGIVING is the third and final book of Vi Keeland’s MMA Fighter series. Sadly I have to admit that the first two books of this series have been on my TBR list since forever but I have yet to read them. Luckily starting in the midst of this series didn’t take away from the story – it’s rather that getting a glimpse of what Nico and Vince are like urges me to dive into their stories very soon!

Lily St. Claire was devastated and broken when her father – known as the legendary MMA fighter “The Saint” – died. Her father’s passing brought her the responsibility of the MMA gyms he co-owned with his brother Joe, but she felt in no position to manage and maintain the gyms at that point. She was thankful for Caden, Joe’s nephew, to help her with the business – and vulnerable and broken as she was she even allowed for a relationship between them to build.
After acclimatizing to the new situation and getting back to a normal daily life she realizes she made a mistake and ends their relationship, only to awake to Caden’s true personality: He is possessive and obsessed, vicious and manipulative – not able to take a hint and making Lily’s life a living hell.

Enter Jackson (Jax) “Pretty Boy” Knight. Searching for an escape of all the drama and lies made up by his father, he comes from D.C. to New York to seal a lucrative business deal – all the while letting off steam in Lily’s gym while going after his real passion: fighting.
He didn’t plan on feeling this strong attraction toward Lily, but he is not going to ignore it either.
Only Lily is not so sure about mixing private life and business once again, no matter how irresistible, smart and sexy she finds Jax to be. She still suffers from the aftermaths of the first try after all.
When the igniting sparks win everything seems to be perfect: She has a man that is a sexy as hell looking dirty-mouthed fighter in the gym and in the bedroom and a gentlemanly-charming suit-wearing millionaire in business and in the living room.
That is until Lily discovers what she believes are Jax’ true intentions relating to her MMA gyms…
Can Lily and Jax fight these difficulties and beat the people who try to keep the apart?

Lily is your typical overreacting heroine who likes to interpret too much in certain situations. She made want to roll my eyes several times, yet I liked her. I understand her situation, feeling guilty for dumping Caden after he helped and comforted her when she needed it the most – she was all but weak. Caden gave her a tough time, but still she stayed because avoiding him wasn’t an option as he was the nephew of her only left relative and co-owner of 62 successful MMA gyms.

Jax… Wow! He really comes close to being perfect: Caveman in the bedroom and gentleman when outside. He is gorgeous, sexy, charming, smart, thoughtful and confident. He can fight and he is not that poor either. No wonder such a man does only exist in books!

The plot lacked a bit of WTF moments, there weren’t that much twists and turns and the story throughout was a bit predictable. It mainly is Jax – but also the MMA theme as well as the beautiful writing – that kept the story going for me.
Oh, and I absolutely loved the epilogue! It does those three sexy fighters justice! Although now knowing where their path leads them, I really cannot wait to learn about the Nico’s and Vince’ journey that was necessary to get them there!

After being introduced to Jax in Worth the Chance, I couldn't wait to get my paws on his story. Jax is a successful business 'mogul' longing to live life following his dreams, which we get a glimpse of in Worth the Chance. Lily's backstory is beautiful with the power and beauty of the relationship she held with her father. She has the gift of being a skilled artist, to which her and Jax share this love of art. Jax's history is built in Worth the Chance so WF give us a more detailed picture of his current standings in strong disagreement with his father. Jax will fight for what he wants to which he proves. Watching Lily come out of her shell, more vocal and forward with Jax is sweet and all kinds of sexy. One whom I definitely wanted put in 'his place' was Caden. Ugh he just rubbed me the wrong way! I was along for the ride with these characters, but I wanted to see the situation with Caden wrapped up more quickly as I felt this was unnecessary umph that could've been resolved had Lily not let the guilt and blame reside on her shoulders. I was content with the ending but wished we could've seen more of Jax and Vince's relationship developing more their brotherly bond instead just being made aware of it's occurrence. Vi puts together her work in a way that flawlessly meets your needs through staying positive, showing empowerment, and overcoming fear and/or personal limitations the characters hold on themselves. Jax is absolutely worth forgiving in my eyes! Give this a try and find your next crush!!

Jax tempted me in Worth The Chance, I was drooling in Worth Forgiving!

WF starts off with Jax leaving D.C. for N.Y. to get away from the media frenzy surrounding his father, and to finalize a business deal with Ralley's Gyms. Lily is part owner of the gyms that she inherited from her father.

Jax is interested in Lily immediately, but she is hesitant due to a recent relationship (Caden, who is f'ing crazy!). Eventually, she gives in.

Jax is the PERFECT book boyfriend!! I loved every well-mannered, thoughtful, dirty talking part of him!

"It's certainly a whole different ballgame when the door shuts on this man. Please turns into Keep your hand where I put it and Thank you turns into On your knees now, Angel." *fans self*

This book is hot, sexy, steamy, and basically drama free until around 70%. At this point I did get irritated with Lily and how she handled herself.

Jax goes through a lot, and I mean a lot to earn Lily's trust again. But, in the end they get their HEA, and true to Vi Keeland form, we get an awesome epilogue!

I'm sad to see this series end ( if you haven't read this series, you need to now), but excited to see what Vi writes next!

Worth Forgiving is the third book of Vi Keeland's that I have read and the Final book in her MMA Fighter Series. I have been in love with this series since Book 1 Worth the Fight. I have loved each following book just as much. I mean really how can you not love a book about a MMA fighter!!! This book is about two people who are different but prove that opposites do attract. I had trouble putting it down, that's how good it was. This book was a little bittersweet for me because I read it so fast because I wanted to know what happened, but once it ended I was sad because that means this series has come to an end. I will miss reading about these characters. Even though these book are a part of a series, they can all be read as standalones. I would recommend them being read in order, but they don't have to be. With this being the last book of the series, I was glad to see how all 6 of the main character's stories were wrapped up. Again, as with the first two books, the story flowed flawlessly and the storyline was amazing. The story is told in Dual POV, which I LOVE by the way. It's always great getting in both Jax and Lily's head.

Like I said earlier this is a story of opposites attract. We met Jax in book 2 at the end, when a secret was exposed to Vince. I knew Jax's story was going to be interesting. In this book Jax has decided to turn his back on his family because of his father's lifestyle (cheating on wife) I was so glad to see Jax stand up for what he thought was wrong and wasn't going to let his father push him around no matter how much clout he had. I did feel bad for Jax when it came to his mom though, I was glad to see things turn around for them as the story went on. Lily is a new character that we met in this book. She is someone whose life has been surrounded by MMA fighters, because her father was a professional Fighter and then became a MMA gym owner with his BFF Joe. Lily tragically loses her father to a heart attack and is now partners with Joe. They are having financial issues, plus Joe wants to retire so they need an silent partner to help out…That is where Jax comes into the picture. I loved watching these two learn to trust each other and watching their relationship grow. I loved Jax's character because he was a great mix between Alpha male, and swoony heartthrob. Lily was a likable character, but there were a couple times I wanted to smack her (especially when it came to Caden)

I really enjoyed that we got to see Nico, Liv and Vince in the book. I thought their characters played a great role in this story. I was happy to see where Ms. Keeland took the story between Jax and Vince. It is always nice when you can revisit old characters and see what they are up to later in life.

I would DEFINITELY recommend this book/series to Everyone. If you are looking for a HOT Alpha MMA Fighter, then you need to meet Jax (Book 3) Vinny (Book 2) and Nico (Book 1). These three men will have your kindles and panties melting. You won't be sorry for picking up these books!!!!

Phenomenal! Hot! Addicting! Worth Forgiving is definitely a “you-have-to-read” book!
I could NOT put it down to safe my own life. Seriously. I don’t have a single complaint about this book. The plot kept me intrigued and the characters were funny (laugh-out-loud kind of funny), sexy, down to earth, and real. EVERYTHING about W.F. simply AMAZING. Vi Keeland’s writing style always captures me from the very first word and doesn’t let go until the very last one. She had me seriously hooked. I will read ANYTHING this author writes (even if it’s just a grocery list). I am in awe with her incredible talent and I will never tire of recommending her books to readers.

While this is the third book in the MMA series, each one is technically a standalone novel. Yes, we got cameos from the previous characters, but really, if anything, I would suggest reading book 2 before this one. Some of the drama explained in that book creates the back story to this one. Plus, Jax’s relationship with Vince (male lead character in book 2: Worth the Chance) was highlighted in Worth Forgiving towards the end.

“There’s only two choices with a man. Forgive him or forget him. If you can’t do the latter, then you need to forgive him because he’s already stolen your heart.”

Jax was HOT. That’s all there’s to it. Incredibly hot, sexy, and humble despite being filthy rich and having a well-known politician for a father. He was beyond done with all the crap his dad had put him and his family through, so he left D.C. for New York. He believed that he could get lost among a busy crowd. He thought reporters would stop following him….that his dad’s drama would not taint him anymore. Jax always loved fighting, but that was not something his father ever approved of, and so he never pursued it. Until now.

Lily was The Saint’s daughter and she made it her goal to make sure her dad’s gyms stayed true to his wishes despite his passing. And so, she worked extremely hard at a place where women weren’t necessarily seen in – the gym. She ran it. She was the boss. However, with working at such a “manly” place, came a few strings. Lily could not avoid her ex, Caden. He had worked his way into her life and he simply did not make it easy on her. She dumped him and yet he would not let it go. He acted as if she belonged to him.

Gently, he pushes the hair that has fallen on my face back behind my ear. “I want to be here to catch you if you fall from now on, Angel.”

Upon meeting, Jax and Lily connected. Their banter was funny yet sexy. Their chemistry sizzled and despite Lily trying to avoid it, them becoming a couple was simple inevitable. They were HOT together. Talk about some steamy scenes! Yeah, Vi Keeland can definitely work the HOT factor in a book. Trust me.

But really, what it all came down to was the fact that Jax treated Lily completely opposite to how Caden treated her. He respected her. He valued her and that was something Lily had noticed from day one. Problem? Or rather, problems? Jax had a secret. It didn’t help either that his dad was a douche or that Caden was a raging psycho!!! So see? There sure was DRAMA throughout the book. Some juicy, page-turning drama.

Towards the end, I was at the edge of my seat and I could not turn the pages fast enough. There was one scene in particular where I was practically reading with only one eye opened! So yes. It was one hell of a ride and I loved every minute! I HIGHLY recommend you buy and read this book. Truly wonderful. Amazing in every way. Vi Keeland knocked it out of the park with this series! FIVE BRILLIANT STARS!

A man worth forgiving, because I could never forget.

Worth Forgiving was a story I was excited about featuring a character that caught my attention early in the last book Worth The Chance. Jackson Knight with his charming smile and warm personality was a secondary character that stole my focus and I think the reason why I didn't really get into the book about his bastard brother Vince Stone. I knew his story was juicy after the scandal of his senator father having an illegitimate son by a crackhead stripper but I wanted to know the man behind the drama and Keeland delivered that for me in this book.

Act One, Scene One begins with Jax running from the scandal of his father being chased all over D.C. by the papz until he sneaks off to New York to train with a friend's cousin. That's where he meets Lily St Claire, partial owner of Ralley's Gyms where he'll be training. She catches his eye early on and tries to woo her to no avail because Lily is still trying to shake off the bonds of her last relationship with her partner's meat head nephew Caden. Lily's story was pretty simple. After the death of her beloved father she was depressed and needed comfort so Caden was who she turned to. Except he turned out to be a jerk who bullied her into staying with him and constantly tries to strong arm her into getting back together after she breaks up with him. ZZZZzzzz. I can honestly say that I didn't like Lily much and my feelings for her barely changed. I found her to be vapid and naive. I get that she felt bad for ditching Caden when he was there for her and had a little guilt but to keep him in her life for that reason after the erratic behavior he showed was total idiocy.

The subplot of Worth Forgiving is that Jackson is in New York to become a silent investor in Lily's gyms because their cash flow has been lacking and they need a little boost. Jackson was the sole reason I read Worth Forgiving and enjoyed it. I couldn't get enough of him. He was a delicious combo of gentlemen and pervert but his dirty side only came out behind closed doors. I loved that about Keeland's leading man in this one. The scandal with his father plays a role in this when Daddy Dearest sticks his nose into Jax's business trying to get him to come back to Team Trollop and make papa look good. Jax ain't havin' that and does everything he can to avoid his father's requests. Jackson had a righteous anger and I loved watching him threaten his dad. The guy is a total scumbag and deserved to be beaten down but Jax is too good for that. I didn't feel like Jackson could do any wrong but Lily felt differently when a misunderstanding with the bank thanks to his father turns her against him.

So, if I loved Jackson and tolerated Lily, then how did the romance work for me? For the most part they were good together and I did enjoy watching them flirt and take steps to a deeper relationship. Of course Jackson was hot both in the bedroom and out. He was the kind of guy that would open the door for you and have you pressed against it once he got you home. That's always PURRfect! Lily was cool when she was with Jax. She fought against getting involved with him so soon after dumping Caden but Jax's charm was hard to say no to. I liked her a lot better when her mouth was full of Jax's C*** though. She was less annoying when she was otherwise cock-u-pied. See what I did there? Jax and Lily had an easy friendship and for the most part they were great together until Lily effed it up but they managed to get their stuff together.

Both fighters from the previous books make an appearance in Worth Forgiving and that was another bonus for me. Seeing Nico again always makes my tummy flutter and knowing his life is going so well with Elle is a nice send off. Vince and Liv have a small part as Jax and Vince finally meet and get to know each other. Brotherly bonding over fighting and their s***ty sperm donor was what I had hoped would come of all this. Vince may have made me want to bonk him on the HEAD (north or south, doesn't matter) in his story but it was nice to see him settled and at peace. I adored Liv in Worth The Chance so naturally seeing her again made my cockles pulsate with warmth especially watching her treat Jackson so sweet. Once upon a time I had hoped her and Jax would make a go but everyone belongs with their beloved and Vince is hers.

Drama, Sex, Fighting, Lust, Love, Romance, and a little dash of Humor make Worth Forgiving another great addition to the MMA series Keeland brought to life. I've enjoyed watching everyone want love, find love and avoid love all at the same time. I may have had a few qualms with Worth Forgiving but in the end I did enjoy Jax and Lily's story. If you;re into fighters who have giant hearts but dirty mouths then you'll love Keeland's MMA boys.
