Let Me Hold You Longer

What an insightful way to look at raising your child. I wish this book was available when my kids were young, not as much for them but myself. It could of helped me keep a healthy perspective when u r in the middle of raising young ones. I now give this book as a gift to new moms.

Hit very close to home! One never really thinks about the last time a child does something, like sitting on your lap. Everyone I've shown this book to has cried or teared up. Wonderful pictures! Wonderful book!

After reading reviews, I ordered 3 copies, one for myself, and 2 for gifts for my adult daughters who both have children of their own. I was not disappointed after reading the book. Any mother/grandmother/lover of children will recognize the reality of celebrating everyday events as we don't often know when the "last" of these everyday experiences will suddenly be in the rearview mirror. Highly recommend.

I have found it difficult to find childrens books specifically geared to boys, this one is terrific. I bought it for my grandson, but will buy another for my son's daughters, in hopes that when he reads it to them, he will get the underlying message of the love a mother has for her son.

A beautiful book which makes a terrific gift for a new mother or an expectant mother. Wish I had had access to it before my three were born. Instead, mine were grown and out of the house before I read it. However, my children have received a copy.

The principal at my daughter's high school read this during graduation ceremonies and there wasn't a dry eye on a mother in the audience. Whether you still have little ones or your youngest is ready to leave the nest, this is such a heart warming book. Full of love and insight into the mother/child relationship, so powerful and touching. It was one of the best parts of my daughter's graduation. I look forward to sharing it in the future with my grandchildren!!

Excellent! This book is a tear-jerker that reminds the reader to hold on to and cherish every moment of their child's life instead of wishing for the next stage! For Christmas, I gave it to my daughter, who has a 5 mo old, and she opened the book, read the first page, and teared up! Wow! This book I a powerful reminder of what's truly important!

A great reminder to mums that the precious time of raising children flies by so fast. And in the business of life, if we are not careful, we will miss so much of the joys found in the small day to day activities.
I love this book and am very thankful for the reminder to take the time to hold on to today's blessings while its still today.
