Dull Knife: A Joe Pickett Short Story

I am still wondering if the downloading was cut short. This is not a short story its not even a chapter.
I was not expecting a continuation of the usual Joe Pickett novels, I was expecting a story, not what seems to be a discarded few pages from a book. the store should have made this clear, not worth the money, but what there is is well written.

While reading comments of other readers, it amazes me when I see so many negative comments. Does's anyone read the product details before ordering? It states clearly that the book has 20 (book) pages. What's all this expecting the next full size novel? The price alone should give you a clue. As a C.J. box fan, I'm glad to have anything he writes; even these short stories.

I was expecting the next novel in the Joe Pickett series and got this lame short story. I feel cheated out of $3. Shame on the store for not disclosing to kindle users this is a short piece, and shame on Box for the castoff trash writing that doesn't even track with the series. Boooooooo! What a disappointment! The deception on the store's part calls for a refund. Cavaet emptor, eh?

Dull Knife (Joe Pickett) This is a excellent book. Very good writer but its short and left me wanting more. But what do you expect for this price. C. J. Box just gets better & better. Dave
