An Andy Carpenter Mystery (An Andy Carpenter Novel)

I'd give "Hounded" 6 stars if that were possible. Loved every page. I try to read it slowly because I know it will be next year before there is another Andy Carpenter novel. I love all of David Rosenfelt's writings and I highly recommend all his works. And I've never been one for reading......until Andy Carpenter came into my life!

The Andy Carpenter novels are always such a relief from the humdrum or quaint mysteries that take themselves too seriously. These are my go-to mysteries when I want to be entertained with a dry wit and still feel I have read a good mystery.

ANOTHER ANDY CARPENTER PAGE TURNER. I JUST WISH I HAD ANOTHER BOOK TO START. THIS BOOK HAS A LOT OF SURPRISES AND THE ENDING IS WORTH THE WAIT. CAN'T WAIT FOR ANOTHER BOOK HOWEVER. ROSENFELT SCORES AGAIN.

I have Read all of David Rosenfelt book. This is a great story that is well written. I swear, Andy Carpenter gets better in every single book. His character is so brilliantly crafted, I feel I know him personally. Thank you Mr. Rosenfelt. I love your literary skills... Please don't stop writing about Andy Carpenter.

True to form, Mr. Rosenfelt did not disappoint. Although the dialogue did not include many canine items, the overall story was hilarious in all the appropriate intervals. The ending was a nice surprise.

You know an author should continue a series when he finds a way to help the character grow which is exactly what happened here. Beyond that, the normal Andy Carpenter elements are all here: cast of characters, smart aleck narrative, good editing (missing in so many books today), etc.
