This is the first book in Carol Moncado's "Montavaro Monarchy" series. When it ended, I was so glad there were more books in the series so I could spend more time with these wonderful new friends! Moncado did a beautiful job of bringing them to life, sharing their struggles and challenges, and letting us enjoy their victories with them. I cannot wait to read everything this author writes!

What a wonderful story. I have already gone ahead and bought all the books by this author. I need to know more about these families and what happens next! This is one of my new favorite authors, wonderfully written, faith evident in everything, love story the best!!! Thank you and please write more!!!!
Spell or High Water (Magic 2.0 Book 2) :: An Unwelcome Quest (Magic 2.0 Book 3) :: NPCs (Spells, Swords, & Stealth Book 1) :: Master of Formalities :: The perfect laugh out loud romantic comedy - Don't Stop Me Now

Cute. not realistic and at times not clearly written for the technicalities of royalty but i enjoyed reading it. Also, I am unsure how believable royalty in modern age being religious without being ridiculously traditional or thinking separation of State and Church is.

Everyone enjoys a good fairytale now and then. This didn't disappoint. A wonderful love story with a happy ending, a cozy chair and a warm cup of tea. Who could ask for more. Set down and enjoy a few hours of relaxation and a reason to smile.

The beginning was annoying at points mostly bc the don't believe the belong together but they kept getting thrown together. I liked when they went to her country and all the stuff that happened. Overall enjoyed the books and we read the next in the series.

I really enjoyed this book. I could not sleep until I read at least half of it the first night, and had to finish it when I woke up. Lots of detail about the family And the history of the royalty made it very interesting. A great romance but clean reading. Well done!

I really enjoyed Charlie's and Addie's story. Sometimes I enjoy reading something that helps me to relax while going through the routine of everyday life. This story did just that. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

I enjoyed this romantic story, very much indeed. I didn’t really mind the few improbable details, because fairy tales are just that, fun to read, nothing real. Some features were quite human, nearing everyday life, others purely too cleanly one sided. Still, I got my fun, letting forget real life, which I am grateful for.
But. The author introduced at one point another storyline, another genre, the dubious money matters of a club, which is brought to the attention of one of our protagonists. We begin to think that this angle would somehow procure him some fame or other, so he would get a better chance at reaching his goal. But no, it is forgotten completely as the book progresses. I asked the author in a friendly email, and she answered me, that this storyline would be developed in quite a different book!
You don’t introduce an idea in a book only to leave its development to another book, and not even in the same series! I find this unprofessional and unethical. Thus the three stars.
I will definitely not read any more of her books, even though having been entertained.

Cute story, wonderful characters and I enjoyed the plot. In fact, I am reading the entire series because I am enjoying the books so much! And I like having books without violence and sexual content as this stuff is not needed in a story.

This is a cute and entertaining read for this series. It's full of self discovery, romance with a new ways of incorporating God on your every day adventures of life. It's got a little mystery that keeps you guessing and still leaving you surprised to see how it checks out in the other books.

This clean, Christian romance took me a while to get into, but once I did it was great! It kept you on your toes wondering what was going to happen next! I loved reading in both Addie and Charlie’s perspectives! Good book!

I like the way Carol writes. The characters are very real. You want Charlie and Addis to overcome the obstacles. I like especially how their faith lead them to each other. Thanks Carol for reminding us that God is working in every thing.

A lovely Christian love story..........no hanky-panky, just hugs and kisses now and then. I'll admit some of the story line was a bit far fetched but it's all in fun. The ending was predictable. I still liked it!

Moncado has created such interesting characters and places. I got the book free via Bookbub and decided to give it a chance and I am glad I did. I just love Adeline's family and recommend all three books in the Montevaro Monarchy series. Also, if want romance without graphic sexual situations, this is the book series for you.

Thank you for clean romantic books that make me want to skip "adulting" and just sit and read all day
