A highly enjoyable read!!! Avi Domoshevizki uses his apparently vast knowledge of the venture capital world and weaves a very believable reality that pulls the reader in and mesmerizes him until the very last page. I cannot wait for his next book!

Very good pace and suspense. The story line, the main figures, and the relations among them are well crafted.
One can learn a lot about the world of Venture Capital, but at the same time there is no cumbersome professional jargon.

What starts as a light business tutorial' turns very fast into a great thriller. Domoshevizki turns out to be a unique story teller. His characters are round enough' the story is full with intriguing twists and the drug he invented in the book is fascinating.

I like Incidental Hero as a title, much better than Green Kills. Ronnie really was a hero. He stuck with the company until he figured out the problems, putting himself & his fiancee in grave danger. The characters are well fleshed out, & I fell in love with some of them. The last page caused an audible yell to escape my mouth... ;)

Green-kills is a thrilling combination of Science and Fiction.
From the very first paragraph I realized I am "trapped": I just couldn't stop reading!
The interesting insight into the VC's world along with a dynamic thriller story made me reading the book from start to end in "one leg".
Watching my husband for many years as startup entrepreneur, and getting to understand the challenges on the startup side, the author disclosed an interesting glance on how decisions and actions are being executed on the other side of the "barricade", and how personal life and business events can take unpredictable turns on critical milestones.
The author's sharp language blended with cynic humor, the surprising events and unexpected turns , pulled me into the story and I couldn't even take a break until reaching the end.
Thank you Mr. Domoshevizki for the interesting adventure you shoved me into, and looking forward for your next book.

Just started to read it, and on the first paragraph got already confused. The author describes a painting of "skinny ballerina" by Matisse.... Hmmm....
I don't remember a single Matisse's "skinny" woman. He rather seemed to be fond of voluptuous models. Was it supposed to be Degas? Plenty of skinny ballerinas by that artist...
Going further. More confusion. The Ronnie character tells us he just sold his company to J&J for half a billion dollars solving his financial matters for the rest of his life. BUT - he is being interviewed and hired as an associate which employment he describes as slavery. Why? I just hope that reading whatever comes next will tell me that this employment has a hidden purpose, like espionage perhaps, for Ronnie. Otherwise this is a madness...
So far, the story is not capturing me. If it is not picking up in the next dozen of pages I might not be able to finish it.
UPDATE: 43 pages all I managed to chew through. The author might have been good in all his previous professional endeavors, but as a fiction writer? I don't think so.

Green Kills is a great story.
A suspenseful story built around the investment industry, the author is kind enough to include the occasional explanation of common processes, procedures, and practices for those of us who aren't familiar. I found these interesting, and was able to draw some parallels with other industries with which I am more familiar. These tidbits of seemingly side information also give important insight into the motivations and machinations of the characters and plot events.
I enjoy how the author seamlessly integrates secondary characters who provide important information to unraveling the plot mystery without awkwardness or seeming artificially convenient.
In addition, the characters are genuinely likable, DISlikable... or flat out scary.
Now that I've told you about the character constructs, I'll say this: (NO PLOT SPOILERS FROM ME!):
The story is a thoroughly enjoyable tale of a man with a perfect life who finds himself in a serious pickle. Unsure what is happening, including whether he's being set up, he proceeds with caution and the counsel of good friends. Eventually finding himself, those he cares about, and colleagues in serious jeopardy, he keeps his wits about him to figure things out, managing to get through (almost) unscathed...

Overall, a very good book. I enjoyed reading it in the evenings - and sometimes found myself staying up way too late.
Pros
====
. Enjoyable characters that you basically root for
. Intriguing backdrop in the VC world with a little biotech/pharma included
. Overall story line very plausible - a few minor things were less believable (more below)
. Good sub-plot involving girlfriend, reasonable resolution
Cons
====
. Villain was way too over-the-top in terms of both his character/personality and his capabilities (similar feeling re: Mr Smith and Mr Jones)
. Why on earth would a multi-millionaire entrepreneur go back to work in this kind of environment? Author tried to answer, but it did not hold water for me
. The climax was a little sudden for my taste - though many outstanding questions were adequately answered in the process
A good 4-star book. I would read another with the same protagonist.

I was interested in the "behind the scenes" peek of the world of venture capitalism and the process trial testing of new drugs that this novel exposes the reader to and felt that the author conveyed convincing information in this regard. What I didn't understand was what qualified the hero, Ronnie Saar in the roles he assumed throughout the story. I grew to like the character of Gadi to some extent but found his relationship with Ronnie and other characters in the story to be weird, to say the list which was emphasized by unusual dialogue throughout the story (perhaps this is a cultural thing). I also was uncomfortable with Ronnie's romance with Dr. Liah Sheinbaum and felt that this was an unwelcome intrusion into the mystery surrounding the pharmaceutical mishaps, deaths and threats to various characters. Green Kills was an absorbing read. After the first two chapters, the story began to pick up and move quickly. Nothing is as it seems, or is it exactly as it appears? Who’s lying? Does anyone tell the truth? Where is the motive? All of the pieces are given, can you put them together before Ronnie? If you enjoy putting together clues and attempting to solve an apparently motiveless crime, this is the book for you. I was given an ARC and am reviewing It voluntarily.

This is a great book. It is a financial / legal / suspenseful Thriller. It starts off with an interesting proposal that our main character can't refuse, and very quickly things start getting complicated for him.
I enjoyed reading this book as well as several other books by Avi. He has definitely created a fast-paced thriller that is an easy and quick read for anybody interested in the genre.

I voluntarily reviewed this book for arc for an honest review. I found this book really interesting and the characters well written. Ronny seemed to have amazing detective capabilities and I loved that he pursued his thought that something wasn’t quite right. Fast paced and exciting, you won’t be disappointed reading this.

Great characters and a plot that clicks along nicely. I enjoyed the details of the various meetings and negotiations although they could drag for some. My only criticism is that the writing is a bit stilted. And discovering that it is a translation from Hebrew explains that.

Forget suspense novels that gloss over real-world details!
Avi takes his personal experience with business in the high-tech corporate world to add layers upon layers of realism to this suspense thriller.
I do not have a master's degree in business and while Avi does write about key events that depend upon the intricacies of the corporate world, he also has the forethought to provide small explanations in the form of footnotes. For me this was a huge deal and it gave me a greater sense of understanding of the situation that Avi was trying to paint.
This is a fantastic book and was satisfying on an intellectual level.

A refreshing and excellently executed style. A unique combination of Grisham, Frey, and Robin Cook. Legal, finance and medical thrill combined together. Thanks to the few foot notes I also learned a lot. I was left with a lot to think about.

I'm really hoping the author intends on writing more thrillers with these characters. This was a very well crafted novel with interesting characters and twisting plot lines. The novelist did a great job writing from each character's point of view.

Short chapters, interesting characters, a rare opportunity to peep to the mysterious world of venture capital - all magically cooked by a talented author.
The result - a surprising end to an enjoyable thriller. A highly recommended reading
