Review:My wonderful caring school principal recommended this book to the staff as we have a population that is rather heavily burdened with poverty and other stresses. The book details the lives of several children, their histories and what Dr. Perry did to treat each child. What is incredible is the effect of poverty, neglect and abuse on the brain development. Review:Enjoy the story lines and plots. Better Proof readers please. Gender changing, unknown names inserted, little things that slowed my reading down to check back on what I had just read.
But like I said above, I like the stories and will continue to read them. I kinda get hooked into recurring characters.
