Book 3 (New Adult College Sports Romance) (University Park Series)

Lexi's world crumbled when she learned about Raven's near-death mishap on New Year's eve. Against her family's wishes, she went to Raven's side and stayed with him until he regained consciousness. It was a bittersweet union, with Lexi knowing that his life was in danger and his career might just end.

But like in any other relationships, there were challenges that threatened their relationship, and Lexi strove hard to make it work with her man, even though everyone had been telling her she'd made a mistake choosing to get trapped on Raven's nest.

Another whirlpool of emotions tried to escape from my chest after reading The Winning Side. C.M. Doporto never fails to amaze and impress me. They say, third time's a charm, and boy, what a charming story this Book 3 has been! Again and again, I was caught in the Raven's trap and I'm not gonna get tired saying it. And I'm not gonna make any moves to get away from it.

The ending was perfect, and I couldn't ask for more!

Ok wait, I take that back.. I want more!

Now, I really crave for Book 4, Different Sides, which is all about Raven's perspective. Somehow, I just know that their story is one for the books and I could never get tired of rooting for them. Raven and Lexi are captivatingly perfect!

So many emotions ran through me while I read this book. I loved Raven, I hated him, and then I loved him again. Rinse and repeat. I was surprised this book swept me up emotionally like that. I was hoping to learn more about Raven's past battles with addiction and about what makes Lexi's mom tick. But that didn't happen as Doporto had other ideas and took me on a ride that I was willing to take. I definitely was not disappointed. This is not a standalone so make sure you check out the first two books in the series: Opposing Sides and Same Side. While it wasn't my favorite in the series, it had some really awesome parts.

I really do love this series though. Anyone who loves to read New Adult would enjoy these books. I loved that this book didn't give me what I was expecting when I first started reading. I was also excited to hear there will be another book in this series but from Raven's POV! I am definitely looking forward to that. Hurry up and read so you can get caught in the Raven's trap!

Wow. ok so this one had me go through all of the emotions. With this being the third book in the series, you become connected to the characters. I feel the development of each character has tremendously added to the depth of the story. Lexi has gone from meek and mousy to strong and a bit stupid. I am not sure I could keep going back, but love makes us do crazy things. Delaney is one of my favorites. She is smart and mouthy (love that). While I loved this book I wasn't a huge fan of Raven in this one. I wanted to slap him a multitude of times. That added to the charm of the book. Anytime an author can pull out those emotions out of a person is phenomenal. I am anxiously waiting for the next book!

Instead of reviewing individually, I will be reviewing the series as a whole.

I'm in shock from how fantastic the books were!
From the moment I started Opposing Sides I.Was.HOOKED!
Lexi and Raven's love is so typical but so strong and everlasting that being typical didn't matter.
Where they came from individually and what they experienced to bring them to find one an other was new and refreshing.
This series took me on an emotional roller coaster ride of a lifetime!
I devoured this series and was ecstatic when i found out a fourth book was coming!

WOW, what a ride.. I won't give to much away about this book because it is the 3rd book in the series but understand that this book is awesome, Lexi and Raven's story continues and trust me when I say you do NOT want to miss it. It is a wild ride and only gets better... 5 *****'s to C.M. Doporto for such a fantastic series... A Must read!!!!

Raven's trap!!! Lexi is still under Ravens trap. She is there by his side during his difficult times. He has a support system from his friends. He is finally seeing he deserves a chance and then what is supposed to be a relaxing day at home with friends changes everything. After this, all of his friends and Lexi's are the support system for her during a change in her life as graduation approaches.

Omg!!! Loved part three of raven and lexis story!!! It was heartbreaking and sweet all in one!! You really got to see an emotional side to raven and lexis relationship... Lots of bumps in the road for them.... The ending was perfect and am looking forward to Ravens pov coming in March!!!

This is a real contradiction and some serious drama. All she wanted was to have Raven unconditionally love her what she got was discord and chaos. I truly was hoping Raven get his stuff together and realize it takes hard work to be stable. I don't think Lexi knew how much she was taking on. Overall this story was emotional and I wouldn't change s thing except typos and character issues.
