Brides of the Kindred have cause my home to become a mess. I started reading about a month ago with the free copy of CLAIMED and read all the way through to FORGOTTEN. My husband is glad I am finished with the series so far because I can take time to do other things. Thank you for writing such entertaining books.

As with all of Evangeline Anderson's Brides of Kindred books this one picks up right where it left off when Kate was abducted from her mate Rone, had her memories wiped and then dumped back onto Earth. When Rone finally tracks her down he quickly realizes that she has not recovered her memories of him or the past three years of her life and to make matters worse anytime he touches her she is overcome with a nearly uncontrollable fear. Rone knows it took a very long time to win Kate's heart over when they first met because of her previous traumas but Rone is willing to invest more time in convincing her that she can love and trust him as his love for her is true. This story was so heart breaking at first but you are won over by the dedication and love these two show each other. The author really reeled you in with Kate and Rone as you end up feeling really close to these characters as they are so fleshed out in the storyline. Kate is such a strong female despite her small stature but she was made so vulnerable and weak when she was robbed of all her memories and she had to internally deal with these feelings of vulnerability as she is dealing with trying to recover what she lost with Rone. The back plot continues to grow with the evil and mentally unbalanced Two controlling Y to do his bidding and more masterminded plans to harm the Kindred are revealed in this book. Despite that lengthy series 16 books total now, each and every book has been 5 star material. The stories are always fresh without having that déjà vu feeling of the previous stories just being regurgitated. These are erotic fantasy books but the steamy bits in no fashion drown out the story and the plot continues to remain strong, suspenseful and entertaining. This is a series I wouldn't recommend jumping into the middle of though because as previously stated there is an intricate plot and you'll need the back stories to gain the insight of what is happening so you won't feel lost. If you like steamy romances and have a flair for fantasy then look no further than the Brides of Kindred series as this is one series you will not want to miss out on. Just start with book one, Claimed which I noticed is free right now on the store when I wrote this review. Happy readings!

Another amazing novel that will not be forgotten quickly. I have read all of the Kindred Bride novels and they continue to get better with each one. Evangeline has done it yet again. This has got to be the most "stay on the edge of your seat" novel I've read in quite some time. Everytime I think I see what's coming it goes in another direction. Forgotten picks up after Kate was abducted from Tragar & Emily's wedding. Rone has finally found Kate again after she was abducted 6 months ago by Two. She has lost all memory of their three years together and has agreed to go with Rone to the Flam & Frost Resort to work on expelling the fear toxins From her body. After Rone saves her from drowning in the purity pool, they are led to a bubble where they're trapped until they get back to their "former selves". Kate has resorted back to the shy person who doesn't want to be touched or want anyone to see her scars on her back from her scoliosis surgeries and is having a hard time accepting Rone. His hunger is getting out of control while they are trapped but Rone is trying to keep the beast back. He knows that if he doesn't feed the hunger soon the beast will take over and he will have no control over what happens to Kate and is scared she may be killed. Kate & Rone go to his home planet G'nera for him to change to his fur form and run in the Howlund for the night to help take his beast. Meanwhile she is staying with Tante Corii at her domicile. Two is forcing Y to watch Rone & Kate and is planning to kill them slowly & make sure they hate one another before their deaths. Y is dreaming of a life without two embedded in his life and waiting for twos new body to finish generating in the vats at the ancient scourge command complex. Two's new body is huge and intimidating. Y hopes that two will allow him to remove the chip that he has implanted of two's personality but Two laughs and refuses to allow him to remove it so Y will remain his property. Y has noticed since visiting the scourge home planet that the area where two's personality chip is implanted has begun to transform and seems to be leading to his spinal cord and brain and is afraid of what may happen if it reaches those areas. On Rone's home planet, Y goes to see the Grandy See-er to get Kate to the Howlund area where Rone is in his beast form. Kate's "knowing" warns her of things going wrong but between the Grandy See-er and Two she's unable to stop herself from going toward the Howlund area. Rone's beast is being reluctant about coming out and he's trying to get it to come out but the beast doesn't want to come out without Kate there with it. Things get more and more exciting throughout the end of the book but I'll not spoil it for you. I truly hope you enjoy Forgotten as much as I have. (I received this novel to write an honest review and I enjoyed it as much as I have each of the other Kindred Bride novels. Hope you enjoy them as well)

Another 5 Star addition to the Kindred Bride series by Evangeline Anderson. I am continually amazed at the scope of imagination and creativity this author has. Once again her latest book brings us to more new worlds and revisits other familiar ones with a twist.
Rone and Kate's story is also unique as he is a different kind of Kindred, a Wolven, whose kindred DNA is mixed with a race that has a hidden beast within.
Mistakingly kidnapping Kate the evil two finds a way to erase her memory and send her back to remake her life on earth. Gone are the loving memories of the life she shared with her mate. I'm heartbroken and distraught Rone does not give up his quest to find her and when he does he must go through great lengths to revive her memories.
This includes revisiting a certain unusual couples retreat where the treatment methods are quite unconventional.
The story of Rone and Kate tie into the crisis endangering the entire world of the Kindred and weaves itself into this greater exciting suspenseful storyline.
This book had me page turning till the wee hours of the morning. A full scale exciting adventure with twists and turns, suspense, danger, heart tugging emotion, humor, romance. The erotic love scenes scored 5 OMG's on my hotness leave me short of breath scale. Ms.Anderson is practically in a class of her own when it comes to erotic romance and weaving it so well into her stories.
Book 16 is a must read in the series, it continues where Targeted left off, takes the reader on a phenomenal journey and leads us craving book 16 Switched.
Highly suggested the series is read in order as storielines, characters and settings weave and build upon each other. Fans and ice for cooling the reader off also a good idea.

I received this for an honest review. I have read several of Evangeline Anderson books and have read every book in this series. This book can be read as a standalone. Evangeline Anderson is an amazing author. With each book you will see so much creativity in her work. I can not pick one Kindred I find my favorite because I love all my Kindred men. Each one has their own talent on pleasing a woman. I do have to say that I totally fell in love with the Wulven Kindred. OMG, smoking hot!!!!!!
We were introduced to Kate in the Kindred Bride Book 15. What I got out of her from the previous book was she was this strong, beautiful, curvy, brave, confident woman, not much scared her, and truly in love with her mate Rone. She had been kidnapped and memories erased by the scum bag Dark Kindred Two. I do have to say my heart breaks for “Y”. He is an unwilling puppet. Back to Kate, we see a different Kate in this book. It was like some of the confidents she had was stripped away.
Kate has a past that makes her the way she is, sorry will have to read the book to find out what was in her past that caused some of her fears. You still see some of the strength in this story with Kate. It took strength to pull your life together with a huge gap of memory missing. You even still see a small amount of her bravery and courage as well.
OMG, I so fell in love with Rone. He is this Wulven Kindred. He has this beast that lives within him and has to be very careful not to let it free. It was like a piece of him was ripped away when Kate was taken away from him. I love how Commander Sylvan was able to relate to Rone, since he had been in a similar circumstance. I think Rone really need to know that someone knew what he was feeling. It has been 6 long months since he has been with Kate. Rone must be careful not to let the hunger get out of hand. Bet you are wondering what the hunger is, well have to read the book to find out.
Rone is going to have to win and woo Kate all over again. He has his work cut out for him. Kate can not stand for Rone to even touch her. Their bond is broken. There seems to be one road block after another for Rone and Kate. Through the challenging times I think Kate sees how much Rone cares for her. He would lay down his life for her.
Will Kate be able to get her memories back? Will Rone and Kate’s relationship be able to survey everything they will have to face? Will Kate be able to overcome her fears and face “The Beast”?

Evangeline Anderson always keeps me up at night but in a good way. I can not put her books down until they are finished. This book was no exception. Kate is living her life and everything seems fine except the three year gap in her memory and the feeling she is being hunted. She has strange dreams of someone after her but it is just a dream....until he shows up in the mall where she works.
Rone has been searching for his mate for months and will never give up until he finds her. When he does find her she can not remember him and is frightened of him. How does he help her get her memories back if being close to him makes her want to run the other way?
This book is full of twists and turns as the couple try to figure out how to get along enough to get Kate's memories back. As with all of Evangeline Andersons books it is rich with detail and lets you be consumed by the world she creates. I would recommend this book but be prepared to get a sleepless night ;)

16 Bride of the Kindred books and Evangline is still going strong. Every book seems to grab you by the heartstrings and submerge you in the world of the Kindred, and let me tell you I never want to leave this world. Each and every book pulls me in and sends me through the cosmos with the characters. It makes you wish the Kindred were real. I love that the main characters in Forgotten make you never want to forget them. You feel Rone and Kate's story unfold and it leaves you hanging on the cliff of anticipation. Will Kate ever get her memories back, will Rone ever get his wife to know him again. The hardships and complications the couple faces make you love them absolutely and want to fold them in your arms and help them in any way. Evangeline Anderson has created books so magically you wish that they could go on forever. I would highly recommend you give this book and all the other Brides of the Kindred books your undivided attention and plunge yourself into their worlds.

ARC from author for honest review.
Oh, holy hotness! Evangeline has done it again! Not only has she given us a great story, but she has made us laugh, cry, sob, threaten murder… you know, just the average emotions that a great writer makes her readers go through in order to finish a story.
The first thing that we find out when we start this book is that Master Two is still at it with his captive crony Y. Master Two really needs to get a life or a hobby and leave these poor, hot Kindred alone!! I mean, yeah, he is the one who causes the trouble that we love to read about, but he has been causing them so much trouble for so long now that you cant help but feel bad for the Kindred. Ok, so once we see that Two is back to his nasty habits, we meet Kate and Rone. The mated couple that had the bond almost wiped due to Two being a… jerk.
As Rone searches for him mate, Kate, you can tell the amount of love and devotion that he has for her even though Kate had no memory of who he beloved husband is. When Rone and Kate have to take a trip to a couples therapy resort, we can see how far Rone is willing to go to protect Kate even if there is a chance of her not getting her memories back. With many more ups and downs that they have to go through before they can have their happily ever after, Rone and Kate complete them as the team that they once were and come out even stronger in the end! EA has done it again and I cant wait to read the next story, Switched!

Outside of the exceedingly high 5 star reviews I hope the author really takes the time to actually look at what the readers are saying and take it into consideration. I have read every single Kindred book from the beginning and I absolutely LOVE the series......HOWEVER.......they are starting to become extremely repetitive. Outside of looks the female leads are starting to become cookie cutter. The dialogue and dirty talk is almost like the author cut and paste word for word entire sex scenes from previous books right into this one just changing location. This book was about 75% "ho hum" repetitive sex and 25% moving the story line along. Don't get me wrong........I'm a fan for life but I would like for once to see a female lead that isn't all stuttering naivete when a big hunk of hot Kindred is ready to do all kinds of nasty dirty things to her. That whole trope is starting to get really stale and uninteresting so much so that I find myself (GASP) SKIMMING a sex scene. NO!!!!!!! Please give us a strong female lead with the next book Ms. Anderson.

I’ve enjoyed Brides of the Kindred series from the very first book and this book is no different. Forgotten gives us Rone and Kate’s story, but this book doesn’t just focus on the couple, because if you’ve read previous books in the series you know the characters you’ve come to love and hate are interconnected in the books in this series. I highly recommend anyone wanting to read this series read these books in order. Emily was the intended target for Master Two, but Kate ended up being captured and she was a very frustrating character at times, but she did redeem herself. Rone who is a Wulven Kindred is desperately searching for his mate while trying to control his beast. However, even when he finds Kate her memory loss impacts them both and more than their bond is at stake. The ending definitely left me with a smile on my face with three surprising surprises. If you are looking for an erotic paranormal romance filled with adventure, laughs, love and never ending friendships, I highly recommend readers giving this series a try. I honestly can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

I love the brides of kindred series. Every time Evangeline comes out with a new book with the kindred there is a new mate, a new kindred and a new chance at romance. I absolutely love this book in fact I love all the books. Kate is a woman who is living her own life a good life as a matter of fact expect for the missing pieces of her life that she cannot recall. When Rone arrived into her life she doesn't know what to think. Rone is Wulven kindred who is ruled only by his beastly nature. When he meets Kate he knows that is the mate that he long ago lost and now wants to bring her back to him and rekindle the spark that they had. Can these two come together and bring back Kate's memories. This book is suspenseful, romantic and totally hot to the core. I love Rone who is wild and sexy oh my gosh totally hot delish eye candy <3 <3 <3

Another spectacular addition to Evangeline Anderson's Kindred series. Kate and Rone get torn apart for 3 years do to her memory loss and subsequent disappearance during this time Rone tirelessly searches for her. Now he has to somehow rebuild their bond to each other without his inner beast harming and our killing Kate. This a very suspenseful romantic adventure with a lot of twists to keep your attention riveted. I couldn't put it down and ended up reading it straight through to the end. Eagerly awaiting further stories from Evangeline Anderson especially in the Kindred series.

This was another formulaic book in this series. Every now and then we get a nice book in this long-running series and this makes me keep reading them, but not this one. The hero was fine, but the heroine was headache-inducing. What saved this book for me was that the separation between the H and h only lasted for the first two chapters or so, making an unoriginal trope into a bearable romance.

Well, I have been reading the whole series, and I think I can say this particular book was one of my favourites. Rather than the two main characters needing to getnto know one another, it was a case of amnesia for the female lead with the male lead attempting to win her back. This also has the secondary plot from the last few books as well. These books keep getting better and better and Evangeline has such an easy writing style to read it is always a joy to have a book available. I do not recommend reading this book as a stand alone, I believe the reader will miss too much of the back story, however I would definately recommend this series to anyone who enjoys romance/erotica with a syfy twist.

Rone is amazing!! When other Kindred might have been pushy & overbearing, Rone was patient, gentle & kind with Kate. I was so heartbroken for him at the end of the last book flowing into this one & I was so happy about this one. I'm ready to see what else this series has in store for us Kindred lovers!!
