First of all....ILOVE KRISTEN ASHLEY! I read a few of the reviews that gave this book 2 & 3 stars and was disappointed before I even started this book. I am happy to say that I really enjoyed this book. I went back and re-read the books leading up to Kaleidoscope just to refresh my memory of the characters....I am glad I did because it made me reconnect with the characters. I must say that I really enjoyed this series and this final book. Love me some Jacob Decker!

Kirsten Ashley does not disappoint....ever!
From the time Jacob Decker reunites with Emme on the street in Gnaw Bone, Colorado the alpha male takes over...except this alpha male has met up with an independent woman and the adventure begins. They have history..his ex girlfriend is her ex best friend..and she has a current boyfriend.
Don't want to spoil this fantastically hot story..so just know that if you are a fan of Ms Ashley, you must read this!!

Kristen Ashley amazes me with the quality she exhibits in each and every book that she writes. Kaleidoscope provides a balance of character development with a plot that engages the reader. Although I read a KA novel for the romance, I also like a bit of angst to make me wonder what will happen next. Which is exactly how the story unfolds. Deck and Emme are a hot romantic couple with just enough edge to keep them fun. Couples from previous stories show up and absolutely love the way they are incorporated into the story. If you love vintage KA, this is a "must read"!

Another well written story. I continue to be amazed at how well I am enjoying K. Ashley's books. I do not waste my time reading drivel. So far I have read ten of her books and have not been disappointed. She keeps her stories flowing with witty dialogue, believable situations and hot romance.

plot twists, twisted characters, and twisted thinking times three. Not only was Emme dealing with twisted thoughts but, Harvey, and Jon had twisted thoughts as well. Perspective is a big part of this book and it was great. So different yet other elements that are signature to Kristen are still in place. Humor. Sizzling sex. Connectedness. Family. Friends. Loyalty. Deep love. I love reading her books.

Such a great story and so vintage KA. Fantastic storyline and Deck and Emme are precious and sweet. So endearing and funny, the dialogue just right in the way only KA can do. Cameos from our favorite characters added the sentimentality of the people we fell in love with. Combustible chemistry played out in all KA's finest scenes. loved it...so worth the wait to read this couple's story.

Another gem from the amazingly talented Kristen Ashley! I absolutely love this series and this book is no exception. I loved Jacob and Emme and getting to see all of my previous favorites from the Colorado Mountain Series was a bonus. I don't know how she does it but KA just keeps getting better and better.

Absolutely wonderful!! IMO you can't go wrong with a Kristen Ashley book. As always she never disappoints and this was no exception! I love how her books make you feel everything that's going on in them. I feel like I am right there in that character, what they go through I go through! This is another great one. If your a fan of hers you will love it and if not give it a try and you will become a fan of hers!! Buy it!! :-)

I absolutely loved this book! I didn't think this series could get any better, I was wrong. Each book got harder and harder to put down. I loved the story between Jacob and Emme and I'm so glad they finally got their happy ending. This whole series was freaking amazing!! Totally makes a southern girl ready to move to the mountains! Thank you Kristen Ashley!!

Okay, let me say this ---I really enjoyed this story. The characters, the dialogue, the hotter than hot love scenes, and the so sweet love that blooms. However, if your expecting the heart -pounding, nonstop action of, say, the Rock Chick Series, then you may be let down. In saying this, make no mistake, this story IS pure KA. This story just focuses more intensely on the characters - who they were, who they are, how they got to be where they are, and most importantly why. So, please don't let some previous commentor's mediocre review discourage you about reading this story. It is a really good romance.

I know ppl often complain that Kristen Ashley s stories are too long but I'm finding that her newer books aren't long enough! I want more! Loved this story. Great read. Wished it was longer. Glad that the story focused mostly on the romance between the h and H which was awesome, and not focused primarily on another kidnapping, murdering drug dealing dirty cop, etc.

Kristen did it again ! Another amazing read. I had just finished Zara and Reece's story when Deckers came out. I felt like I won the lottery. Kristen has the amazing ability to write a story that is so detailed and descriptive that you feel as though you are right there with them. I loved Deck and Emme's banter. I also loved how Decker knew Emme had some issues to overcome and vowed to stay by her side and help her work through them.

Emme and Deck! Loved this book! But when it comes to Kristen Ashley, what's not to love? She is without a doubt a go to author for me. This story is wonderful.

Emme and Deck have known each other for years, but were only friends, or so they thought. Their story tells of how 2 people truly meant to be together, finally get their happy ever after.

Loved this book, but the ending seemed rushed. How every the epi made up for it.
I have waited not so patiently for Deke's story, since reading Breathe. It did not disappoint. In fact, I think this is my favorite book KA has written with her publisher.
I loved Deke. It was cool seeing a brainiac alpha male.
I loved Emme too. She was so sweet but so broken.
Another winner by KA.

I have some reviews that weren't great. I absolutely ate this book up. They cant all have the intensity of Breathe but this was still a great book. She doesnt hit and miss. Please appreciate what she brings to us all. I never regret buying one of her's and I cant say that about some authors. I loved Emme and Deck. Can't wait for the next one.

Truly enjoyed this book. If you love KA other work you'll enjoy this. I didn't like the ex bff coming back but was satisfied with how that turned out. I just felt H was wrong. I'm happy to have this be apart of my KA collection lol

KA did it again with another Colorado Mountains masterpiece. Emme and Deck are grown ups who are figuring their way while their world goes topsy turvy. Loved seeing the old CM gang. If you like your romance augmented with some intrigue, bro-mance, unresolved emotional issues and some solid advice from your girls....this is the book for you.

Every time I read a Kristen Ashley book, it makes me want to reread all of her other books!! Jacob and Emme, beautiful! I love that they were friends and were in love with each other but never realized it. I love that once Jacob knew, HE KNEW and there was no going back. I especially love how all these books are somewhat intertwined and we get to see friends from the previous books.

I became a Kristen Ashley reader only recently starting with the Colorado Mountain series. I found the first 4 fun because every detail of the story was fleshed out and complete by the end. The last 2 books in the series (of which this is one as well as 'Jagged') did not have that same completeness. This book felt like she didn't want to write a full book so cut it off around 400 pages and hoped we wouldn't notice. If this is the mistake of the publisher then Kristen needs to find a new book deal. Sorry because I really wanted to like this 5 stars worth but can only give it 3.

Kristen Ashley once again out does herself. I am so amazed with her characters, story telling and magic she adds to the stories she creates. Kristen Ashley is pure magic and genius sprinkled with just enough humor and angst. You can never ever go wrong with a Kristen Ashley book!

Deck and Emme's story is so beautiful and sweet. I loved them!

So. Just finished Kaleidoscope. Kristen Ashley has been one of my favorite "go to" authors for some time. Kaleidoscope was (thank GOD) better than Jagged, (I still haven't recovered from that let down) but still did not have the power to pull the reader in that previous books have had. I want to be pulled into the story, I want to feel the angst and anger and I like to see these alpha men have to work for their women. I want to feel as though I actually know these characters, as I have in Ms. Ashley's past work. I like Kristen's Alpha men, and I was looking forward to Jacob finding "the one". I was glad Jacob found his Emme, but he sure didn't have to work very hard for her. The storyliine around Emme's past issues and the storyline around Jacob's current case were just.......boring. no great plot or drama. Emme went from strong and assured to a basket case. And Jacob's ex, the manipulative and evil Elsbeth..... there was opportunity for some drama in that storyline that was just passed up, a real non-issue. She had "changed". I say this: It is NEVER, EVER accceptable for a man in a serious relationship to sneak around behind his girl's back to meet with a former lover. And on the pretext of what??.....that he had to "prove" to himself that he wasn't himself somehow flawed by falling in love with a "bad" person??? really??? self-serving much??? I wanted to see him grovel a little and at least admit to Emme it was a "dick" thing to do, knowing he hurt her, but instead the author has Emme apologizing to him for it, as if it is somehow her fault! Then Jacob had the nerve to suggest that Emme re-connect with this ex-friend that had not only betrayed and hurt him and her current husband, but had betrayed Emme's trust as a friend, by telliing Jacob Emme's secret from her past. Are you kidding me?? In Ms. Ashley's last two books it seems she goes to great lengths to make some of the villians in the story end up as just poor misunderstood victims of circumstance. Can we not work so hard to redeem everyone? Some people are just bad, some women are just manipulative bi**hes. That's life. I get that Jacob is a genius ..... but really, could he not admit to being wrong, even if he had to do it in his own "alpha" way. All in all - it was just okay. It was better than "Ham and Cookie" but it sure wasn't up to Kristen Ashley's previous standards.

I agree with other reviewers with the whole thing of... I want to be with you and always loved you but I was dating your hot friend and you were a plain jane but now you are beautiful so I want you forever attitude from the Hero was totally shallow. Made it very difficult to get into them as a couple. It was a just okay read.

Romantic/erotic suspense at its best! An extremely prolific and talented author, Kristen Ashley churns out amazing, wonderful stories filled with unforgettable characters. I have enjoyed reading and rereading forty of her ebooks. Jacob and Emme's HEA was a delight to read from the first page and never let up. Enjoy!

Kristen Ashley's unique style never fails to entertain me. Kaleidoscope is the sixth book in the Colorado Mountain series, which is one of my favorite KA series. This book has KA's usual formula of alpha male, strong woman in distress, steamy romance, a killer epilogue and a HEA. Because KA uses a formula, you'd think each book would read the same, but it doesn't. Each book feels fresh and I'm always excited to read her work.

Kristen Ashley keeps writing these remarkable books with the super Alpha males and the strong women to compliment them. Great storyline behind Jacob (Deck) Decker and Emmanuelle (Emme). Absolutely draws you in!

Not one of my favourites. And I am conflicted about the baby debate. And although I usually love her heroines...Emme was not my favourite.
And seriously...these people have got to move away from this little area in Colorado. It has a higher crime rate than Detroit.

Kristen Ashley is one of my all time favorite authors. I read her books and I am swept away to another place and time Where the men are hot, bossy and affectionate. This book left me unsettled. I didn't connect well with our Hero or his woman. First of all he wasn't just "Alpha Male" He was a jerk and because he was hot she somehow convinced herself he was "so nice" as a matter of fact she told herself he was "So nice" often. So often that it got on my nerves. I also didn't understand why he was so ticked at her for having a relationship with the man who kidnapped her at 12. I mean I get it he kidnapped her but hello he didn't touch her inappropriately and he treated her nicely while he had her. It's not like he was some pedophile, he was a man that was grieving and made a mistake. She forgave him for that and in doing so discovered she genuinely liked him and was concerned for him. I also found it ridiculous he was paying to fix her monster house 2 days in to meeting again. It took me an exceptionally long time to read this book when normally I would be done in a matter of 1 day. This book just didn't have that ability to suck me and leave me wanting more. I felt it lacked that KA flair I've grown accustomed to. I have more things to add to my review but I feel like I am just repetitively tearing down the book and one of my favorite authors. I am just going to leave my review the way it is and say it just wasn't for me. Deck was no Max and he was certainly no Hawk or Lee and Emme was not even close to being a Laurie or Lexie.

Loved this book. I love all of her books. Never fails that I'm transported to another place reading her books. Kaleidoscope was not an exception. Emme is strong but sweet, Deck is all Alpha bad ass. Story is good with a twist I've never seen before. Worth it! Totally worth it!

I love Kristen Ashley books. She creates the best alpha males EVER. Whatever she writes, I will read. Was this my favorite? No. But you have to love her way of crafting characters you love immediately, locations you must visit and lines that melt your heart. My suggestion to anyone who has never read her books before, read her books in the proper order for the full experience. 5 stars given for my love of all KA's books!!!!!
