Another wonderful book by Ms. Ashley. Luckily for all of us she does not disappoint. Deke is the typical alpha male but with a loving edge to him. Justice is witty and funny and I loved her! Every time I think KA can't write another book to top the last, she does. I have read all of KA's books at least twice, except Sweet Dreams and Motorcycle Man I have read at least 5. I can tell you now, I will read Bounty at least 5 times too. I was very sad and upset when I finished. I hate leaving KA's worlds, they are such wonderful places. Thank you!

Once I began reading this I couldn't stop - which means my family had to fend for themselves. I am glad I waited to start reading it Friday after work - not sure how I would have phrased the need to miss work because the book was so great I couldn't stop reading. I have loved all Kristen's book series but I must say that Deke and Justice were so well developed that they began to feel like old friends. Honestly, if you are looking for a great author start reading Kristen Ashley. The Rock Chick's series was my first and I recommend it everyone.

I have the first six of this series in paperback, this one on kindle! I've re-read this series three times and I am moved every time, but this one really did a number on my heart! Some say her books are too long.......but when you don't want them to end, they are NOT long enough! In BOUNTY I've enjoyed reconnecting with favorites from the other books as well as this series. I cannot THANK YOU enough Kristen Ashley for the wonderful stories and the people that you make come to life in those wonderful stories!!!!! Again, THANK YOU!!

Wow. No, actually wow doesn't even begin to cover it. Kristen Ashley has outdone herself with this book. KA is the queen of epilogues, and this book had the feel of one giant epilogue. I smiled so many times that my cheeks hurt. Seeing characters from other books and getting another peek into their lives was like visiting old friends.
Justice and Deke... Sigh. Honestly, I'm not talented enough to come up with the words that would accurately describe how much I love them, both as individuals and as a couple. They make my heart happy.

This is typical Kristen Ashley. That is not a bad thing, that is a very good thing! I love that she writes about older characters, not twenty-somethings, and makes them as sexy and hot as any younger character. I love that she integrates characters from other books so that their stories continue and update also. I have read most all of her books and I have yet to find one that I do not like or did not enjoy. If you are a Kristen Ashley reader, you will enjoy BOUNTY. If you are not a Kristen Ashley reader, shame on you and it's time to get on board!

Kristen Ashley is one of my favorite writers. I like some of her books better than others. I really liked this book until the end. The ending felt rushed after the rest of the book was not. I would just like to have more time spent on the major incident at the end. She picks up the story 4 months later with no details about the climax of the book. That said I would still recommend it. It is the 7th in the series and it would be good to read the entire series but not necessary. I highly recommend the series though.

I can't imagine saying this. Actually, I feel like the worst possible cheater because I have never not loved a KA book. As we all do, I have my favorites (most not in the series) but this, this just undid me(is that an actual phrase)! BEST KA BOOK EVER! good grief..why did it have to end? When you ask that question of a really long book, you know you have a winner. Obviously, I am not giving you a summary review. I'm certain there will be many. Just know...READ THIS BOOK, savor it! Beauty/Bounty...Thank you

With believable characters, dialogue and action, KA pulls you into the worlds she creates and never lets the reader down. Her writing becomes even better with each moment she crafts. The most difficult decision is deciding which book in which series, or which standalone is better. Normally decisive, I constantly change my mind based on my mood or even the book I happen to be reading at the moment. The Colorado Mountain series is making the choice even more difficult. You will not be disappointed.........

I absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED Bounty! Justice and Deke...oh my! I didn't think Justice was ever going to get Deke to move beyond grunts and actually speak civilly to her. Don't let your past decide your future Deke! But when the wake up call happened ....he was there! And I mean REALLY there! So beautiful. And when hell broke loose ....you made me cry Kristen! I don't do that over books! But you made me do it! Everyone wanting to read a fabulous book that truly moves you should read Bounty!

Absolutely Awesome!!!! I love the Colorado Mountain Men series and this story is another great addition. Loved the characters, music, and especially loved how characters from this series made appearances in this one. Loved Deke and his Jussy. I have to say that the music picked for this was just beyond exceptional. If you have not read any of Kristen Ashley's books, what is wrong with you??? Go NOW and start reading this amazing author's stories. Believe me, you will not be disappointed.

Look I love Kristen Ashley usually. I generally have to plan my time because once I start a KA book I need to finish it as soon as possible. But I didn't have that problem with this story. I’m am 50+ books in and I’m just going to say that this is my least favorite ever. I was pretty board with the Colorado Mountains but this solidifies that I’m totally over this series at least.
Problem #1 – KA tends to over describe clothes and rooms in houses. I get this about her and normally I let it go. BUT…when the heroine is remodeling a house the descriptions went into overdrive and seriously there were entire pages I skipped because it was just describing something else in the house.
Problem #2 – This book was WAY TOO LONG. There was no reason for so much filler to be it there. Most of the Colorado Mountain books were 12-14 hours of audio. Bounty is 21 hours and 7 minutes long. That is about 7 hours filled with fluff.
Problem #3 – I forgot who the Hero was. Deke has been mentioned in a few books helping out here and there but even though I’ve just read them in order he wasn’t memorable to me and I’d totally forgotten him. But here he is in this book as the hero.
Problem #4 – The pacing is just off. After a pretty promising start in the prologue the book slows down a lot. We wait while Jussy and Deke get to know each other as he is working on her house. We wait as small tidbits are dealt out about who Jussy is and why she is in Carnal. We watch everything in slow motion and the first hook up with each other isn’t until after 50%. Normally that wouldn’t bug me but that is 10 and ½ hours into the audio. One exciting thing happened in that 10 hours and while it was exciting then everything slowed to a crawl again.
Problem #5 – This seemed more like a book that was maybe trying to sell a future series with another couple Bianca and some Mobster or the Rock Chic spin off with Mace and Stella in LA. There is also a little cameo by Deacon in the Unfinished Heroes series. Serious meandering in this story.
Problem #6 – The entire Poet’s soul thing. I get that Justice feels emotions deeply and she channels that into her song writing. But to mention it all the time was just ridiculous. I can’t even count the number of times she refers to her Poet’s Soul and feeling the pleasure with the pain.
I get it, they can’t all be winners for everyone. Especially when you have written over 50 books. But I really thought this book could have used some serious trimming. It isn’t even the wrap up Colorado Mountain’s series as there is still talk about a book with Wood and his wife. I think that would be a mistake, if anything they should get a novella and not a full length story.
So I’m glad that for now I’m done with this setting.

This is a beautiful story and the audio just enhances it even more. I wish my review could do justice to the beauty of this book. After 20%, I thought oh my stars, I can't believe how good, and there is more to come...at 50% I couldn't believe how much depth to the story I had read and was excited about what was to come. At 80% I did not want it to ever end. This is a book to be savored and enjoyed each time you re-read it. The beauty of this book will stay with me for days.

My youngest being a huge Kristen Ashley fan, I have read all of these intertwined series. Of course I don't remember every name and scene, the way my daughter does, it will be a long time if ever before I forget Justice and Deke's story! What an unbelievably, entertaining read. Deke, of course has the rugged mountain man hotness, but Justice is such a unique character to me. Strong, level-headed, works it all out in her head, yet human and grateful for all she has received. Beautiful!!!

As usual I love Kristen Ashley's characters and her story telling. I become invested in the story and characters. Totally loved Justice and Deke, they are people I would love to hang out with.
This book had snippets of suspenseful moments, not quite as intense as previous books, but the love story was awesome and such a great read.
My only question was the heart snippet at the end...didn't get it, just didn't fit in my opinion. Disregard that and a great read!!

As always, KA delivers a story that immediately takes you in so deep to never let you out until you read every last word. The chemistry between Deke and Justice is incomparable. As the story goes, they were made for each other. You also get to read up on what's happening with the other key players in The Colorado Mountain series, getting short glimpses and reminders of everything you still love about them. As only KA can do, Bounty is magnificent and complete Reader's Gold.

There truly is nothing better than Kristen Ashley at her best. I am addicted to her style, her descriptions and her hero's and heroines most of all. I waited and waited for this book. I was not disappointed. She let the love build slowly simmering in its own juices until we were completely invested in our couple. Old friends from other novels made perfectly timed appearances and carried the story forward to its beautiful conclusion. Loved it. Way to go. Keep them coming.

Kristen outdid my expectations with Bounty....I have read and loved everything she has written but this book was amazing....the words...the songs ...the drama...the love...the angst....I spread it over 3 d a y s ....so not to let it end too fast.....my fear was that they were sooo different.....Jus and Deke....but The Heart....was the same....the longing for the road was the same.....Loved...Love e d...l o v e d this story....just a thought...buy tissues with aloe? thank you Kristen.

I actually found this book irritating. I've read several other books in this series and enjoyed them but this one became annoying. The cryptic, shorthand "local" vernacular became so redundant and annoying that I had to force myself to finish the book. Maybe this book with it's incomplete and run on sentences was just "one to many" for my liking.

OMG! I love the Colorado Mountain Series but I think Bounty is my favorite which is saying a lot since I couldn't pick a favorite before. LOVED IT! I have read all the books at least twice. Maybe I'll wait a week and read this one again. Love a book that gives me everything - laughs, tears and having to wonder what's going to happen. Kristen Ashley is the very best! Love you girl! Can't wait for the next one - don't wait too long to make it happen, PLEASE!

Deke....you're going to totally fall in love with him and measure all mean against him from then on. He's just....everything. Everything a gypsy princess like Justice needs. This story pulls you in and takes you for a ride you don't want to end. It's great to catch up with all our friends in the mountains so don't wait to download this book. I just finished and can't wait to go back to page one and start all over again. Bounty does NOT disappoint.

As with most Kristen Ashley books there is nothing I don't like about this except it ends. Love the characters, the storylines. Maybe could have used a little more angst mid way (what can I say, I love angst!!) but otherwise it was great!!!!

I should start by saying that I love everything that Kristen Ashley writes. And I have read everything that Kristen Ashley has written. That being said, there are a few of her stories that have stood out and stayed with me. This is definitely one of them. Thank you Ms Ashley for giving me the bounty of your beautiful writing. And I kindly request that you hurry up and give me more;)

I was undecided about whether to give this 4 stars or 5 stars. There are some portions of the book that I found slow with too much detail but the love story made me go with 5 stars. Justice is one of a kind and has the coolest personality but I knew Kristen Ashley wouldn't let us down. I cried a few times with how both of their losses and heartache felt so real.

Absolutely *LOVED* this book! The first half of the book frustrated me because I wanted it to move in one direction, and a certain character was holding that up-- but when it *did* go there, it was *AWESOME*!
The writing is classic KA, the story is so very engaging, and I love the fact we got to see so many CM regulars-- and Wood's book is next! WOO!

I liked everything about this book. The characters are alive, leaping of the page. We revisit the cornerstones Krys &Bubba, Chace, Ty, and so many others. Justice is strong, independent, and able to take care of herself. Seek is nothing special, but just a solid good man, with a lot of love to give. Yeah for the mountain men!

There is something about Kristen Ashley's books that always draws me back. While I don't exactly identify with the characters, I do love them. I have been looking forward to getting to know Deke better and he seems like the just right guy for Justice. The best things about these books is that they are always so full of heart.

Kristen Ashely always has interesting, well devoloped characters. She paints a picture of the scene that's very clear in my mind. I always feel like I can clearly "see" where the characters are and what is happening with them and around them. I love, love, love all of her books, and this one did not disappoint.

Another beautiful story written by Kristen Ashley. Her stories always touch my soul. Another love story full of emotions...
Deke & Jussy, opposites but not. A perfect fit for each other. Each one so complex, but together, awesomeness.
Family, friends, sadness, happiness, tears, yes this story has it all.

Jussy and Deke.. <3
Deke... that man.. we all knew something was up with him and finding out what it was.. heartbreaking.
Jussy.. i liked her.. i really did. She was strong and independent but she was vulnerable too. She knew the kind of man Deke needed to be and she let him just be that, whatever it was, even if it was something small.
I loved getting a little taste at all of the other Colorado peeps.. and Wood... i'm ready! haha.
