This second book in the series was more exciting than the first. I'm so glad Cosky and Kait stopped pussyfooting around their feelings. Of course we also got a bit more of the mystery solved. Can't wait for the next book.

Cosky's story is an excellent continuation of this series. the story keeps you engaged, never giving you a chance to get bored or willing to put it down. The only problem with the story, is like any good series, it leaves you hanging! I hate having to wait for the next book. :-) That said, it is a great read.

Well written, action packed. Good sprinkling of romance, paranormal and conspiracy. Hope the next book will be published soon. Good character development and use of military jargon and respectful of Native American language and culture.

Like Forged in Fire, this is the continuation of the major story with romance folded in to the major story. Love the characters and the writing. Can't wait to find out how it resolves. And hope for a few other characters to find romance and their stories to be told.

I just loved this book the series is so intriguing I can't wait for the next one. The characters were so believable and I just didn't want to put it down. The ending left me with wanting more. Maya banks is a great author and I have already ordered the next story.

A gripping thriller -- very well-written in its entirety. The passage I enjoyed the most was the first visit the main character made to the lady healer's place; his and her perspectives during the encounter were quite funny, yet sensual.

Enjoying this series so far. It's fairly light and easy reading but there's enough action to keep you interested and turning those pages. Already downloaded the 3rd one. The book and series are well paced and it has a bit of a paranormal romance slant to it. Definitely worth the 2.00 or 2.99 (can't remember) that I paid for it.

A continuation of the first book but a story within itself. Cant wait to read the third book. This Seals in this story are UN such a pickle. It winds, turns and suspension of who is behind every thing makes it a great page turner. On to the next book.

The story continues perfectly from her first novel and the action is still edge of your seat fun and believable at the same time. Her characters develop wonderfully and throughout the story I really felt a connection with all the characters, not just the story's focus characters Cosky and Kait.
The romance is steamy and the difficulties in developing into relationship are realistic. The romance was well intertwined with the plot and the action! My only complaint is I didn't see a preview for the next installment at the end!!

Waited what felt like forever for this sequel to "Forged In Fire". It was worth the wait. Another novel involving strong, protective men and intrepid women who fall in love while battling the forces of evil. Hope the next one in this series comes soon.

It must be quite sometime since the first book "Forged in Fire" was published and we were left at the end hanging (so to speak) However many months later the Navy SEAL's from ST7 are now facing hearings to account for their actions in the incidents that occurred back then. That is concerning in itself for them as the two men who could vouch for their involvement were murdered. Commander Mac, LC Zane with Lt's Rawls and Cosky who was badly injured at the time want justice for the Admiral along with clearing their names. Former FBI agent Amy Chastain who was dealt a personal blow in more ways then one is doing her own digging into things while keeping Mac informed. In around about twist we meet a few more very interesting characters in Jillian who is out for vengeance and Wolf who is Native American and the half-brother of a SEAL mate and to sister Kait who has the gift of healing in her hands.
For a story of 428 pages, the timeline between events was short and in my opinion hindered in giving any credence to the romance between Kait & Cosky. Part of me still thinks though their relationship could have been developed better instead of being all about the sexual rush and if some scenes weren't drawn out so much I believe it could have been done. With every twist and turn the suspense got more edgy and highly intense with some great action. The female characters weren't the all woe me fragile sort and sure they had their vulnerabilities but their strengths came through when they needed to act. Cosky was stubborn and cranky to booth which was understandable to an extent but he was also a bit maddening. Kait was likable but I did think it went on a bit in showing her working her healing magic. Wolf is a hard call and I'm not 100% on board in trusting him just yet. Not sure why I get such a kick out of Mac who like the others is frustrated beyond measure and if he isn't scowling his growling.
Lab, scientist and military activity routed in a conspiracy is a combination I'v become wary of reading about as too many books have that going on but here it really has piqued my curiosity. The way Mac is thinking as to the why behind what was happening seems too clear cut or maybe I'm just too suspicious in thinking there has got to be something more sinister afoot. Guess its wait and see. Be very interesting to see what happens next when ever that will be as I'm more anxious to read the next book than I was actually for this one. Fingers crossed Rawls will be back to his charming self and that each story keeps the paranormal from getting too extreme. Girl can hope can't she?
The romance might not have been all I wished it could be but I can live with that and the story still gets a solid 4 stars for the suspenseful plot.

Some parts of this book are dis-jointed!! Plot did not flow well together. Some parts of the story were interesting, like the healing ability , and visions of past and future dangers the seals would encounter. Hot, sexy guys everywhere.

The writing pulls you in right from the start, even while introducing characters and plot. Characters are "beautiful", both inside and out; these are "SEALS" but SEALS with intelligence, compassion, strength and, of course, good looks!

It felt like eternity waiting for this novel but I loved the second installment. Cos and Kaite's story was action packed and hot! I love that there is reality mixed with the paranormal. I hope we don't have to wait over a year for the 3rd novel.

Non-stop action and suspense will keep you turning the pages. Good character development. This book. Has some interesting twists. There were a few things left unresolved . I'm unsure if this done for a new book.

This book is another part of the story & mystery involving a team of 'Navy Seals'… it contains mystery, intrigue, comrades-in-arms, and deep love. Look forward to more from this author. Recommend.....

I liked the book because there was an underlying story line with many twists and turns. It held my attention throughout. I was hard to believe in the healings, but I guess it mAde the story more interesting. all in all, it was a good book.

Like the different characters, once you get them all straight, and the whole men are from mars women are from venus thing which co-insides with good vs evil sinario. Do not like ending a book without knowing the ending. Serious angers me..

I repurchased the book right after I read the first one. Love the second book as well. The story line is interesting, healing gift and love story between Kait and Marcus. Cannot wait for the other books from the series as well the other stories about Max, Wolf, Aiden etc. and finally the ending who was behind the hijacking.
