Riley is strong, focused and awesome in her resolve to fight with integrity. She s smart and understands the needs of lost and lonely hearts underneath her tough as nails character, there is compassion. I can't wait to see where her journey takes me next.

I started the Rylee Adamsom series because it was 99cents for the first book and I was out of other books at the moment. I have to say while I was unsure in the beginning this is quickly becoming a favorite series. The plot is complex and smart. The characters are great and Rylee is awesome. This book answered a lot of questions brought up earlier in the series but still leaves a lot of mystery to leave the reader wanting more.

I love these books, if you know who Kate Daniels, Rachel Morgan, or Madison Avery is you will love these books too. The series has a fresh and unique view on the super natural world, with characters to fall in love with and root for. I admit I was a little worried the book would get formulaic - child missing, Rylee finds the child, but that is NOT the case at all, each story is it's own continuation of Rylee and her "family pack's" story and hold twists and turns and adventures you will loose your self in!
Wolf Bite (The Blood Borne Series Book 2) :: Rootbound (The Elemental Series Book 5) :: Ash (The Elemental Series Book 6) :: Fangs and Fennel (The Venom Trilogy Book 2) :: Silver Staked (The Blood Borne Series Book 1)

I love book 4 Rylees adventures are getting better and she is attaching herself to more people, a witch, shapeshifter and a warewolf (that was once and FBI agent that is her mate. It is best to start with book one and read all of them to follow the threads. Sharon Mayer can weave a tale of paranormal and different people Must read! These books a midnight oil burners.

Book four has actually re sparked my interest in the series, which had waned a bit previously. At this point Rylee's collection of misfits is a bit difficult to keep up with--and of course she adds another!--but they also add dimension to an otherwise shallow storyline. There was very little Tracking in this book, which is sad, but it still manages to deliver quite nicely. I'm certainly ready for book five. :-)

I want to howl like Alex...Nooooo, not finished! I want more!

Ms. Mayer's talent is evident in the world she has created. Her writing skills continue to whisk me off into a world of action, of passionate comitttment (be it her oaths, her will or even her heart). The character Rylee is being drawn towards an innevable confrontation, one she refuses to meet on fate's terms.

Can not wait for more!

If you like paranormal heroines this is the series for you. Rylee Adamson is a Tracker
She can find lost children when everyone else fails. Except for her sister who disappeared 10 years earlier while teenaged Rylee was watching her. Start from the beginning. Join Rylee and her ragtag "family" while they try to do the right thing. Each book gets better. I am going to order the next one now.

Rylee gets a very big surprise in this installment, something she never thought was possible. She also keeps getting betrayed by both those she trusts and some that are supposed to be her allies. The upside is she has Liam back, but is there any human left in him, or is he all animal?

This book is really good I enjoyed reading it , I'm in love with these characters . This is one of the best series of books I've read in a long time ! If you don't mind the F word being used slot . I was happy Liam made it back ,Rylee needs him. I'd love to see this series on TV or as movies like Harry Potter .I think people would really enjoy themselves .

You just fall more in love with these characters the more you read. We're finally getting closer to finding out what everyone's role is. All the while discovering more mythical creatures in every book. This is a truly amazing series.

I'll read anything Shannon Mayer puts out, especially this series! Riley goes to London, gets into all kinds of trouble naturally and hunts for Liam. I love how she never gives up on those she loves, even when in one case, she probably should. Alex is entertaining as always and gives great comedic relief. You don't see much of Liam in this one, but when you do, it's great.

I recently found Shannon Mayer and this series. I will admit I love urban fantasy, but I'm a little picky. Not every book catches my imagination. Mayer's Rylee Adamson stories are pure brain candy. After the the first book, I was completely hooked and wanting more. Shadowed Threads is the fourth book in the series. It is a continuation of characters and themes from previous books. I would recommend that if you are new to the Rylee stories it is best to start at the beginning. If you are faithful fan, than you will be happy with this book. It is fast paced, filled with familiar characters. Some questions are answered, some questions remain, and new questions enter the story. I read this book in a day. I tried to slow down to make it last longer, but couldn't. I am looking forward to the next Rylee book and know that I won't be disapointed.

I am surprisingly hooked on the Shadowed series. It's well-written and Mayer does a good job of explaining and describing all of her creatures. I really like Rylee. She's a good person and is growing in every book, discovering new things about herself. Alex is hysterical. All around good series of books. I recommend them to anyone who likes this genre and even to those who don't but are looking for a good read.

Rylee has a difficult time handling her emotions in this book. We learn more about her sister's disappearance and share Rylee's pain over it. Rylee also has to track and save Liam O'Shea, who is no longer the simple FBI agent we met in the first book. Rylee is a kick-butt heroine, string and resilient. This is a great read - hard to put down once you start.

If you're going to read Shadowed Threads you HAVE to start at Priceless first. These books will pull you in and have you sitting on the edge of your seat all the way through. Rylee and Alex are such loveable characters, It's constant twists and turns I definitely didn't see a dragon joining the mix in this book. I cannot wait to see what book five has in store. I finished book four in ONE DAY!! Keep up the good work shannon

I love this series. I loved the action, the romantic aspect, the plot, everything. Shannon Mayer is a great author (I've read her other books and they're really good too). I read all the time and find it hard to locate a series I haven't read or dismissed already. This was a pleasant surprise. I can't wait to read more of this author's work, whether it's this series or one of her others.

Love anything this author does. She has such a knack for story telling that I am able just slip right in and feel like I'm involved. I feel the tension when things get rough, and even to a point the pain the character feels when she feels it. It's a great and talented writer who can take the reader on such and adventure.

I love the characters, humor and supernatural fantasy that runs through these books. Great connection between books but you really MUST read them in order to keep the thread. I read all four in 2 days! Couldn't put them down. Of course my fear is there will be too long a wait time between books and the price will increase.

I'm still thrilled to be reading this series this was the fourth book and it just gets better .these characters are a mismatched group that steels your heart. The loyalty of the Pac is fantastic . If you love a great Book with wonderfully written characters this is it.

This book is another very good story in this series. I will keep buying the series. I really like the characters. I grew up in the early 50's and loved the werewolf and vampire and all of the occult happenings and other characters. They still hold my interest today. The story line is great.

Shannon you out did yourself on this one. The bad thing I would have to say about it is that the book ended way too soon. I get so wrapped up in your books, that I just feel so lost when I am done reading one. You describe the characters so good that I can see them in my mind very clearly. I was just on the edge of my seat through all the fight scenes. Please keep going with what you are writing and quickly. I know that is impossible for you to do but I am very impatient for #5, #6, #7 and so forth.
Hats off to you and wishing many more to follow.

I love this series. The stories are fast paced with a lot gong on to keep you wanting to rated more. Great comic relief. Shannon Mayer is able to capture and convey the emotions of the characters without slowing the story down. This series has the same feel of the Rachel Morgan series by Kim Harrison.

I wonder how the prophecies will play out and how will the 'pack' fare when the storm arrives for them all. I loved the plot twist and am happy that some things are looking up because they won't have much peace for long. Oh and I loved the trifle joke.

Amazing twist to Rylee's story! Faris is such an interesting character, never know if he's a good guy or bad.... Loved the introduction of the dragons, the twist with Berget and the continued saga between Liam and Rylee, ahhh. Definitely recommend!!!

Another great story....Ms Mayer has been conscientious in her story line and true to her characters all through the Rylee books. Every one of them brings you into their world and makes you want to know what happens next. Not a stand alone book but a great series.

I discovered the Rylee Adamson series two weeks ago and have fell in love with them. I finished book 3 the day book 4 released and I was so happy I didn't have to wait for the story to continue.

Shadowed Threads does not disappoint, the story is interesting and exciting. The characters are great as usual. Shannon Mayer does a great job balancing seriousness with a little humor.

Great series that I would highly recommend. Can't wait for the next!!

I just found this author, this series, a short while ago, and am hooked. I pre-ordered Shadowed Threads (not something I do often!), forced myself to get other things done instead of devouring it all in one fell swoop the day it was delivered to my Kindle. I mean, Ms. Mayer is good, but how fast CAN she write, lol?

I love Rylee's strength, focus, determination, soft heart, and potty-mouth. Each character is richly portrayed and the story weaves together (loved the blue socks in book 3!)all of them in and out and around like the dance in Faris' memory....

I'll be eagerly awaiting Book 5!

I really liked this book but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless they read previous books in the series. I read "Raising Innocence" several dozen books ago, so when I began "Shadowed Threads" I had forgotten a lot of the names of the characters. It was very much like listening in on a stranger's conversation about her family and friends: Names were thrown out and characters were discussed without any back story. I gained my sea legs by page 70 and was able to follow seamlessly through the rest of the book, but I felt like there was a lot lost for new readers. Without a good sense of the back story, it's hard to develop emotional bonds to characters who just pop up out of nowhere in the narration. The lack of back story also made the beginning seem rushed.

Shannon Mayer continues on a vein that I absolutely love -- Rylee's menagerie of misfits. They form a true family with strong bonds, and Rylee is a conscientious mentor. In a truly funny moment when the shit has hit the fan and something scary has happened, Rylee notices her family's eyes as big as silver dollars, followed by the realization that all her allies are children. She doesn't talk down to them and she doesn't act down...she allows them to participate in very dangerous things when the situation warrants their strengths. There are new and interesting (and scary) characters who lend depth through their conflicted emotions. And O'Shea's return redefines "family." I was not expecting the ending with Rylee's sister and Mayer certainly captures Rylee's devastation (I know this sounds like a spoiler, but it's really a misdirection). This series continues to be fun and unique, and I'm looking forward to the next book. There better be a next book!

So much more put together and solid than the other novels, I'm excited to watch this author bring this story to life! I'd recommend to anyone that enjoys light romance and snarky commentary from the feisty main character Rylee!

There are not many authors that I cannot put down but from Book 1 this author grabbed me and I can't get enough of her writing or this series! The characters come to life and seem so real, the stories are incredibly real and the emotion just grabs you. I recommend each and everyone of these books.

I have just finished the 4th book "Shadowed threads". This series is awesome. I love the different twists and the characters are so alive. You can relate to them. Miss Mayer needs better proof readers, but the writing was fun and I enjoyed the 4 books. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Found this series in the Kindle lending library. Shannon has created a wonderful world of supernatural. Rylee and Liam are caped crusaders of the supernatural world. Along with their so called pack they are a fun and action packed read. Start with book one and you will be sucked in.

loved it...one battle after another. especially like that good always triumphs evil. if there's one negative thing, it would be her choice of language!! the books would be just as good without all the "f" words. just my opinion.

I'm hooked on this series, which keeps getting better. Lots of twists and turns, including a biggie that completely caught me off-guard. At the heart of the series is Rylie and her family of misfits and outcasts, and that's what makes the books so special. Highly recommended.
