Well another amazing book by this Author! & a few Bombs went off in this one!! Yes there was a few tears.... As Daimond tries the be a tough nut but really wears her heart on her sleeve... Knox is just Knox everything that I expected.... All tho I did want to yell at him a few times , quite a few... Then there was the WT# with what was said in the Shade scenes ,so much so I had to read that a couple of times , The way the other club was bought in, very clever!! Then there was the Ending... Never in a Million did I see that turn of events... This Book is worth everyone's Time , Effort & Money !! He'll the Series is & I've just LOVE IT !! <3

So Knox and his tongue ring (among other things pierced) have made him very popular with the ladies.. Diamond has so fought her family's biker ways that she puts up a good chase. I can't wait for Shade's book...

Again, another great book by Jaime Begley! I've read all the Last Riders books and love them all. I couldn't wait for Knox's story, piercings and all! This book didn't disappoint. Nice glimpse into Shade, Lilly and past characters. Can't wait to read Sex Piston's story.

Knox is really blunt, "yeah, she was breathing." Knox leaned forward. "If I was going to kill the bi***, I wouldn't have left my condom in the trash can. They wouldn't have found my fingerprints and they effing would have never found her body." He can be thoughtful when it suits him to be, "you were crying because of your stomach. A couple of women at the club get bad cramps during their periods. Massage helps; I thought it would work on you. It did." He has a temper when there needs to be one, "Diamond, what's wrong with you? Don't effing jump off my bike like that again," Knox growled." He's bossy, "get some sleep. I'm going to eff you again in an hour, "Knox said, reaching out to turn the light off." Even when he's half asleep that man is sexy, "you want to eff?" Knox asked sleepily."

This was the second book I have purchased by this author. I didn't finish reading either book. Now I am sure that I somehow wandered into the wrong reading category. I read some of the reviews before buying the book with professional narration. The reviews were positive, so I went ahead and got the book. I'm not sure, but I guess this book is considered erotic reading. I thought I was doing a book search in the romantic category. I'm don't feel comfortable rating this book because my reason for not liking it has nothing to do with the author or her writing skills. It's the subject matter that I just don't care to read. I have read several Kristen Ashley books about motorcycle clubs and enjoyed the stories, even though I would not accept much of the Alpha male treatment in her books. Still, I enjoyed her books. I can't say the same for Jamie Begley's books. I won't be buying any more of her books. They just don't suit my personal reading tastes. Since I can't submit this review without a rating, I just have to give it a 1-star rating, but only because I thought I was buying one thing, but I mistakenly bought something else. Doesn't mean the something else is no good--just means I made a mistake in purchasing it.

Yet again she has outdone herself with this book. I was so sad to see it end but since i know there are more coming, no going to complain. This book not only opens up on knox/Diamonds relationship but all the others as well. Plus leaves you with a thought of what the next book coulde be :-) It was AMAZING, HOT as usual :-) and it has some teary parts in it as well. This books deserves way more than 5 stars, just like the first two in this series. Jamie Begley knows how to catch you from the beginning of the book and keeps you wrapped up till the end. And how can you not like hot, sexy ass bikers?!? Again, f'n amazing!!!! This series is by far one of my favorites!!!

There were not young adults, new adults here. Just plain grown a** people handling their business the way they do.

Knox, big, hot, sexy, strong, rough, has been accused of murder. Mind you she may have deserved it in some way, but that's besides the point. Knox was not the most patient of men and his attitude was everything but sweet, cuddly, demure. He scares off the states best lawyer with his ways. The only other option would be to go to someone that needs the case more than anything to put up with Knox and his disposition. In comes Diamond. Diamond knew all to well the life of bikers and clubhouse life. She was the product of such a union. She wanted nothing to do with them for good or bad, but she did need the cash. She makes a deal with the devil to get Knox off for murder. Through it all she finds that she can be the passionate woman that her inner self desires and still have that professional facade for the world.

Knox needs Daimond to get him off the bogus charges but he finds that he also needs this woman and not other.

Narrator Elizabeth Hart gives me another performance that enhanced the story. She brought true life to the words and lifted them up off the page. She delivers cadence, pacing, diction, and distinctive voices for the male/female and various characters. She has a devoted follower.

This series is like a chocolate cake covered in caramel candies and chocolate icing. It has its faults, and you know its gonna leave you hung over in the morning, but boy do you crave it. An addicting storyline with compelling characters, I have literally devoured the Last Riders Series over a long weekend and now I’m jonesing for my next slice of cake.
Knox has always been the super bad boy of the Last Riders Motorcycle Club. After spending the night with the terrible Sam, he finds himself on the wrong side of the law when she is found dead the next morning. Being the only suspect in a town that hated Sam, Knox needs a defense attorney and he needs one fast.
Enter Diamond, a lawyer in the small town who left the motorcycle life far behind. Her father and mother had lived the life, and now with her own sister part of a club, Di wants to stay as far away as she can from that lifestyle. When the Last Riders Motorcycle club ask her to defend Knox, Di is hesitant at first but eventually sees more to the hardened criminal than he wants anyone else to see.
I enjoyed Di and Knox’s story and loved the constant conflict between the two. These two are complete polar opposites and as they get to know one another, they find there is something in eachother that they truly connect with. My absolute favorite scene is when Diamond takes suspected motorcycle killer Knox home to meet her parents, who are the former leaders of their own motorcycle club. It was fun to see the worlds collide and have Diamond in the middle.
So far this is my favorite of the series. You can see Begley is coming into her own as an author and the grammar errors have been cut down significantly. There are still some which temporarily take you out of the story, but not as many as in the previous stories. Begley also pays more attention to the characters and their motivations, and I just found myself understanding this romance much more than I have previously.
With great characterization of main and secondary characters, far few plot holes and far less grammar errors, it feels like Begley is becoming an author to watch out for. She’s built a rich biker world and I can only seeing it get better!

Framed for murder Knox hires Diamond as his lawyer to prove his innocence. Knox is one of many manwhores in the Last Rider and the most likeable. Knox has to prove to Diamond that although the case is complete, that what he feels for her is real and not just another girl in his bed. Diamond doesn't believe she can live up to the MC lifestyle and handle the Friday night parties or how the many girls the MC share.

Knox proves to Diamond that they can have a relationship and he can be faithful to her. Don't wanna ruin what he does, but you know he truly loves her to move mountains for her and show how serious he is to be with her. Another twisted ride in this series you won't want to miss.

Having disliked previous book in series, I was hopeful about this one mainly because if the heroine Diamond . I should not have been. From having a sense of self and strength, she allows a man who is supposed to care for her to turn her in to a sex toy for his biker brothers. Nothing romantic about it - its just about unappealling sex scenes.

Good series so far. Dislike the way everyone wants to throw Lily under the bus and keep shades secrets from her. They all know including her friends like eve who continue a sexual relationship with shade knowing he will pursue Lily as soon as he can. Beth is Lily 's sister and eve is supposed to Beth's best friend and keeps screwing her over. Hopefully the characters will mature in later books. I really dislike the female members of the club. What kind of women claim to be friends than constantly screw around with guys who they know have an interest in another female. Me personally I would tell all those guys to take a long walk off a short pier. For all those guys to talk about loyalty and honesty they don't live it. Lily deserves so much better than what she is being set up for. I like shade a little in the first books and thought he would stop his wild ways once he decided he wanted Lily but he didn't. I have really disliked shade now. And again I can't stand the female members.

Knox is the biggest and the baddest member of The Last Riders MC. He does something foolish that has devastating consequences. Enter Diamond a struggling lawyer. Diamond grew up around big bad bikers her father had been the president of The Destructor's MC. So she's not intimidated by Knox's attitude.

Best book so far for me. Well written story with well fleshed out characters. Knox shows us his softer side in this, while Diamond is a realist, I loved that about her. She goes into situations knowing what could be the outcome but she still goes for it. The sex scenes are really hot. An enjoyable read. I can't wait to read about Shade and Lily.

This was in my opinion the strongest book so far, I liked both Knox and Diamond and thought they made a great couple. To be honest I wasn't sure at first how this book would work since Knox is a huge and I do mean a huge man whore and I knew Diamond wouldn't stand any nonsense but like I said it was the best so far and now I'm where I wanted to be and that's with Lily and Shade.

5 stars***** These are no ordinary guys. Bad ass at the start, Knox reveals his compassion and honesty by falling in love. Great story line of a woman attorney who defends, falls in love and confronts her past. Awesome series!!!!!

The story of Knox and Diamond was more emotional than the others... and I liked it. There wasn't as much angst, at least not in an "oh my God, I-suspect-he's-cheating-on-me" kind of way. It was more of a "I-don't-know-how-to-handle-my-feelings-for-you" kind of way. I really liked the two of them together. They both had their hang-ups but they balanced each other out.

Yes, Diamond is tough on her family but I find it hard to blame her. If you're a fan of MC books you know the life isn't always a walk in the park. What she witnessed years before would sour my relationship with my father too. And with her mother standing by him and Sex Piston being a member of the club too, it only served to strain her relationship with them even further.

Diamond was thanking the Heavens for her family later on though. Her parents and sister helped to push her in Knox's direction when things weren't so peachy between the two and it was awesome. I'm not sure she would've made it there on her own but with the help of them and Sex Piston's crazy-a** crew, she was able to catch his attention alright.

Then, there's Shade and Lily. Can we say, "tension overload?" I am incredibly curious to find out what will happen in Shade's Fall. We already know he's fallen for Lily but what's gonna happen when everything comes out?! I'm glad she graduates very soon... But how in the heck would she become a member?! I can't think of any other club problems that would give her a free pass like Beth, Winter and Diamond sort of got.

Oooh, and Shade's connection to the sheriff? I like that a lot too!

As for the infamous Pastor Dean... I am convinced he is a former or in retirement club member. (We have to meet Lucky some time, right?) What's with him playing matchmaker? I never expected the bomb he dropped on Diamond where Knox's past was concerned. That explains so much about Knox.

I adored their HEA. I was surprised with a couple of lifestyle changes they made but am happy with them.

My favorite part? Diamond giving Bliss a black eye. Best moment of the series.

My least favorite parts? How Diamond ended up feeling sorry for Sam and regretted calling her names. Yea, after everything Sam did, she shouldn't feel bad about that what-so-ever. Not to mention the whole Holly situation. Really? You'd honestly let her keep her job? Weird, weird, weird.

Some of the grammar and editing drove me bonkers- the use of "their" instead of "they're", is it Ms. Richard or Ms. Richards? Fortunately, it was pretty easy for me to overlook since the characters were so entertaining.

Now the problem is, how will women become members? I mean, now they're down to five original members (even though it's looking like Shade will be off the market soon) and the rules are you need six of the original eight... I guess a lot of markers might be given out, if they feel the need for more females.
