Book 12), Betrayal in Death (In Death

Very entertaining. As a New York City resident I find the description of the future New York to be intriguing and probably on point based on the current times. The little touches of humor provides a good offset to the intensity of the story. The brutality of the murderer was a bit extreme even for this series of books but story captures reader from first chapter.

Reading about Eve and her husband let your mind drift to a place in which you can draw about what you're life could be like living in a time as they do. I expected suspended and get every time sO READ one of J d Rob's Eve Fall a s books. Keep on writing them.

I love the characters and how they relate to each other. I do not care for the obscenities. Anyone who wants a fast moving crime story of the future, who would not mind scimming over certain words now and then, would enjoy these books.
