Winter has decided not to date anymore but her sister wants her to and keeps trying to set her up . She went to dinner with a guy that her sister got her to go with and she sees her ex boyfriend with his new one. She goes to the restroom and climbs out of the window. She calls in the dumpster when a sting operation is going on and Wyatt saves from getting shot. He is determine to get to know each other but keeps running. He fell fast and hard and he works hard to get her to talk to him and get to know him to trust him

Winter Bennett will do anything to avoid her ex-boyfriend, even if it means escaping through a bathroom window of a restaurant and landing in the middle of gunfire. Winter runs a centre for less privileged children where many of the kids could end up in gangs without her help.
Wyatt Hunter is the police officer who saves Winter from getting killed and he is immediately smitten with Winter and her feisty attitude.
When Winter finds herself in trouble with one of the local gangs, The Street Kings, over a student will she turn to Wyatt for help? Can Winter get over her insecurities with men to give Wyatt a fait chance?
This was a great book filled with laughs and lots of tense moments to make you wonder what was going to happen next. I found it a great balance of the heavy stuff with some lighter moments.
Winter was a great character as it was obvious how caring she was and strong for helping so many children but at the same time she had a vulnerable side due to her relationship with her ex-boyfriend. To climb out a window to avoid your ex really made me laugh.
Wyatt was a tough cop but had another side that you gradually leanred more about in regards to what happened with his sister, Rose. I loved learning more about everything with their relationship and how it impacted Wyatt's relationship with Winter.
The scene with Winter's sister, Bree, losing it was so intense and I felt bad for Bree's daughter but holy crap I was worried!
The stuff with The Street Kings was intense for sure and you knew they were mad and my heart truly broke for what they did to the centre. When everything went down at the end I knew they were missing one and knew something was coming and I hated being right.
The very end was great and I look forward to more in this series! - By Rebecca

Winter has been hurt badly and humiliated in the worst way possible and looking for love or a relationship was not going to be easy, she can never really trust a man again after what she has been through. Winter tried to date but she runs, all the time she runs , even from what could be a good thing. Trust is a huge thing and she just cant seem to let go of the past.

Wyatt is a hot a sexy cop who has woman falling at his feet and lets just say has made the most of it , he isn't looking for love either. Wyatt comes from a wealthy family but has had his heart broken too.

They say when you are not looking for something it hits you right in the face, well when Wyatt met Winter he didn't expect to fall so hard and so quickly. He may be a strong cop but is he strong enough to knock down winters walls that she has no intention of letting go of ?

Their worlds end up colliding in more ways then one !!

I really enjoyed this story, it was packed full of love, romance, suspense and danger and off the wall chemistry. What more could you ask for ? Wyatt and Winter are the main characters but you get an insight to a fair few other characters that leaves you wanting more.

What a ride. I started reading Anything for Love and was hooked from page one. I read the book in one sitting, I couldn't put it down, I had to known what happens to the characters.
Meet Winter Bennett, she's on the worst blind date ever. And while she tries to escape through the restroom window she blows up a undercover operation of the NYPD. Detective Wyatt Hunter is furious. But at the same time she intrigues him.
Lean back and read what happens to Winter and Wyatt.
Anything for Love is the first book in the Hunter Brothers Series. I give 5 stars, recommend the book and can't wait to get my hands on the next book in the series, Anything for Her - Logas story.

Lola StVil is brand spanking new to me and holy smokes am I glad I took a chance on this book y'all. Sexy. Sweet. Fun. Engaging plot. Addicting characters. Great back and forth banter.

Anything for Love is the first book in the Hunter Brother's series and it is not one you want to miss... a beautiful second journey that will make your heart burst at the seams then sigh with happiness by the end.

This is what I look for in my books and I cannot freaking wait for the next one!

Yes, I love this series already!! The Hunter Brothers ahh Wyatt I love him. Who would have thought a horrible night out with a awful date would put her smack dab in the middle of a chaotic situation. Instant confusion instant attraction, and sparks fly. This book had me laughing, crying, yelling, talking out loud, and falling in love. The connection and chemistry between Wyatt and Winter is undeniable and hot. This was an amazing start to an already favorite series for me. Thank you for allowing me to read this and write about it.

I really enjoyed this first take of the Hunter brothers and I will definitely be on the lookout for Logan's story.
Winter and Wyatt have a story that explores true friendship love. They make a family with not only blood relatives but "chosen ". You will laugh, cry, and almost pull your hair out.
The only criticism that I have is there are just to many "babe's" and "baby", use either their name of mix in a few other endear names.

This story has it all: romance, best friend issues, danger, family drama and humor. Winter and Wyatt struggle to have a relationship, even though it's clearly kismet. The supporting characters are almost a story of their own and throughout it all are these surprise zingers of humor that had me chuckling, nay guffawing out loud, drawing some crazy looks of my own. Do yourself a favor and read this book.

This story was both exciting and full of wonderful romance. The characters were interesting and well written and I enjoyed the secondary characters and how they were written into the storyline. The pace of the story was just right and I always enjoy an epilogue at the end of a story to tie up the story and this book had an amazing one.

There's so much to love about "Anything For Love". Talk about how they met: Winter jumped out of a restaurant bathroom window into the dumpster out back to escape the blind-date-from-hell. How was she to know that the police were in that alley, after weeks of planning, to catch a vicious criminal. Yes, dear readers, that's how Winter and Wyatt met. Wyatt took her into the police station for questioning and for her witness report.
One would think that Wyatt rescuing Winter from bullets would have been the end, but no-way-José!
It seems that they saved each other's lives in more ways than one.
There are thrills, chills, and X-rated bedroom scenes. True love and chichen soup--what more could a girl ask for? Yup, nothing can beat it!

We meet Winter Bennett as she ditches her blind date then tries to avoid her ex by escaping into the men's room and down the dumpster chute. As soon as she climbs out of the bin, she is tackled as shots are fired overhead. When she gets the chance to finally see her rescuer, he takes her breath away. He is Office Wyatt Hunter.

Winter and Hunter have a past that rules their present. They each need to deal with what they have gone through in order to move on and make room for each other and a future. With the help of friends and family, they will be tested time and time again and must decide whether it is all worth it.

Lola St. Vil created characters that we can relate to and want to have in our lives. She takes us on a journey with sweet moments, heartstring pulling actions and words, and danger with Winter and Wyatt. I really did enjoy knowing what each character felt throughout the book and how frustrating it was at times when you want to tell them what is going on and how you feel about it. They really engage you as a reader with how involved you become in their story and keep turning the page. You are sad when it is the end, but you are really glad there are other books in the series so you can return to them again and again.

A great love story but only fot very mature readers.. this story would still have been very good if had been written as a clean romance. Warning for readers: be sure to have a full box of Kleenex handy! Hard to put down until finished.

Anything for Love is an addictive novel about a young woman, Winter Bennett. Winter is caring, beautiful works with foster children – and completely freaks out at the sight of her ex, causing her to jump out of a window into a dumpster. Wyatt and team are in the middle of a sting when Winter comes flying into the dumpster ruining everything. After that, Wyatt can’t get Winter off of his mind.

Winter was a well-developed and likable character, although she gets involved in some situations that were way over her head. She wasn’t overly complex even with her past relationship issues, she was smart, and had an enormous heart. With that being said, Wyatt is the one that stole the show for me. Sweet, romantic, driven, brave, caring…. I could go on all day about this man. Initially, I just had sort of lukewarm feelings about him, but no more than 30-40 pages into the novel, I was in love.

Anything for Love is a perfect blend of romance, suspense, family losses and crime all wrapped up in one wonderful package. The various themes are well-balanced and the book is a definite page-turner. There are moments that will truly tug at your heartstrings, funny moments, and definitely some hot, steamy scenes. This was my first time reading Lola St. Vil (how, I have no idea) but it definitely won’t be the last. This start of The Hunter Brothers series has absolutely made me a fan of the author and I will, no doubt, continue following this series.

I really liked the storyline but the poor editing was very distracting leaving the reader to figure out what the sentences should have said. Winter is the director of an after school program for low income kids. She has suffered a really bad experience in the past with an ex and has sworn off relationships. Pressured into a date from hell by a well meaning sister she is ducking out the restaurant bathroom window into a dumpster and lands in the middle of a police undercover sting that ends up in a shootout. Wyatt is the officer in charge of the undercover op and the dumpster diving escapee.

Winter Bennet had a horrendous bad blind date. On her way to duck out, she saw her ex with a hot new girl. She decided to duck out the window of the restroom and risk jumping into a dumpster instead of facing humiliation... Right into a drug bust by Detective Wyatt Hunter and his team. The bad guy got away, but he's smitten when he had to protect her from stray bullets. But she's too broken for love, esp. when her evil ex pushed her into kinky sex and then revenge porn'ed her when she broke up with him. Can Wyatt heal her?

Didn't feel too much on this one. The meet-cute was good, but the rest of the novel was nothing special.
