U know how so many authors make 3 different books when it can just be one
Well this author put it all in one long book,it was perfect
so much detail I stayed up all night reading this book didn't go to bed till 5 am
Love the characters loved it all
10 times better than my favorite book of all time (beautiful distraction)
And that's saying a whole lot

Jaxon, oh Jaxon!! A story where a man believes the woman he has loved since High school is better off with out him. Yeah I know me aren't always smart, but Jaxon's heart was always in the right place he just needs to catch up to it. Honor, yes ladies that is what this series is about. Honor of your country, your friends and most of all the honor and love to be cherished by the woman you love. And oh does Jaxon honor her, over and over again. Ladies with Jaxon in your lives you need not fear anything.
Grab this book and let Jaxon in your heart!

Good story with a great cast of characters. I look forward to reading about Sawyer and Grace. No cliffhanger which always makes me happy. I liked that Julia didn't hide her feelings and she wasn't whiny or bit**y. My only real complaint was how often the author said someone was giggling. If it would have said they laughed over and over again I wouldn't have noticed but all the "she giggled" "they giggled" "she said with a giggle" made me want to throw my Kindle. Only little girls or ditzy bimbos giggle IMO lol. But otherwise it was a strong start and it was well written.

My congratulations to K.C .Lynn on a fabulous book and the start of what I am sure
will be a tremendous series.

If you love Kristen Ashley, then you will want to read this one. We get a beautiful women and her
longtime best friend, that she loves, that is a total alpha. He is big, tatted and did I mention
a bike riding former Seal. Swoon!!

We meet their family and friends and I can't find one that I don't want to read more about. And I do
hope that we get to see all of them again soon.

Five Star Read

I can vividly remember writing the review for this book, it was one of the very first reviews I wrote and there would be no topping it so I will keep this short and sweet. This book started me off on a very satisfying journey of love, self discovering and honor and is one I will never forget. This whole series is addictive and once you start you will binge read until the end.

I loved this book. The plot, dialogue, characters, action, epilogue were all pretty friggin fantastic. Jaxson and Julia were an amazing couple and their story did not disappoint. Please don't hesitate to buy this book. It's funny, sexy, charming, romantic, action- filled, emotional and just stimulating in the best ways. I'm super excited and beyond anxious for the next book about Grace and Sawyer. If it's as good as this one, then consider me a fan of the author. Hell even if it's not, consider me a fan simply because this book was just that great. Haha

This book is a all the feels emotional journey! You will not want to put this book down because you will be so engrossed in how wonderful and amazing the story of Jaxson and Julia is!!! KC Lynn does such an amazing job of captivating the audience and keeping them on the edge of their seat!!! And let's not forget Jaxson and all his Alpha sexiness!! This is a must read!

5 freaking amazing stars. This was the first book I ever read from this author and there has been no turning back. KC Lynn has easily become my most favorite author after this book. Jaxson and Jules have got to be one of the sweetest and toughest couples I've ever had the pleasure of reading. Jaxson is def one of the biggest alphas I've ever read. Loved loved this story.

I absolutely loved this book. As voracious reader who loves all genres I love when I find something that I truly can relax and just enjoy. Most of all though I love when the story sucks you in until the final page and this is exactly what this book did.

This novel is told from alternating first person view between the lead female and the lead male character and this was both very well done by the author. I also liked how it added to the character development to see things from two different sides.

The characters in this book were not two perfect people who find each other and live happily ever after. I enjoyed the flaws of each character and how that contributed to them fitting together so well. The plot development also fit the character development very well I thought in how the author slowly reveals peaces of her characters in tune with the movement of the book.

All in all I thought this book was a very enjoyable read full of adrenaline, hot sex scenes, good supporting characters, and true love. All in all this book was something that brought a smile to my face and made be breath a happy sigh at the end, which was exactly what I was looking for.

I loved this story, it was compelling! Jaxson doesn't think he is good enough for Julia, yet she knows the truth. She knows that he is beyond good enough, he is everything she has ever wanted. I believed the story, the sub-story, just everything about this book. It was seriously incredible, and def. on my list of best of 2014 so far. Cannot wait for Sawyer and Cades book. I would love a Cade book as well, because I actually love that brooding, tortured, silent type.. Looking forward to more!!!

I picked this one up when a friend recommended it to me. I wish I could hug her and say Thank You a couple more times.....one of the best books I've read this year!! And a amazing debut!
Second chance stories always draw me in, but when you add a Navy SEAL to the mix....oh baby!
I loved Julia and Jaxson's story so much. What he went through to finally get back to her really took this story a whole other level. The other amazing characters make me excited to start the rest of the series.

The book was well written. descriptions are not over the top that carry on and on. It keeps your interest wanting to continue to relate to the characters and what makes them tick. There are some very funny parts to the book, there are some control issues with the alpha male main character, but don't we all want someone to love us THAT much!!! All in all very sweet, seductive and some fun in the whole of the book. I would definitely read the others if they are written with the same passion as this book.

I am in love!!! The characters were amazing & intriguing. The storyline had me hooked. And I can't wait for more. I love Jaxson & Julia. They are perfect for each other but it took Jaxson some time to see and accept that fact. Jaxson is such an amazing, arrogant, but loving character. His story also broke my heart when we learned about "Anna". But I am so thankful that he, along with Sawyer & Cade were there for her. This is book 1 in a series and I must say, I am already a fan.

KC Lynn brings her characters to life in a wonderful way that makes it so you can't put the book down!! This story is sweet, sad, frustrating and hot hot hot!!!!!! Loved it!!!!! OMG! Awesome book! Left me with such a hangover, my smile was a mile wide! Had this book on my kindle for so long and finally started it. Wish I'd have read a long time ago. Jaxson and Julia's romance is completely individual; distinct from any other book I've read. My heart was hurting for them one minute and full of joy the next. I felt like I was wrapped up with them from the very beginning and have known them forever. I cannot wait to continue on in this series and I've found a new favorite author!

I fully liked this book. There were some "dark" things that happened in the book, but they were not overpowering enough to ruin the book. I thought that this was going to be a simple romance, but you get so much more. I thought that the ending was a little predictable and I wish that she would have thrown something on there that the reading was not expecting. The whole cat and mouse routine was a little over the top but in the end it was a nice read.

I loooooooove this book. Jaxson is amazing... yes he has his moments but they were all to protect her from him or so he believed. He felt she was too good for him so stayed in the friends zone even tho that's not want he wanted. In the end he had no choice but to realize they were perfect for each other. Jax is so amazing. Loving and caring and oh so protective.

My new favorite. I read a lot of books, sometimes a few a day, but WOW! It's now 2 am and I am glad I don't have to get up for work tomorrow (not that I could have put this book down for sleep). I laughed, I cried, then I got fighting mad! I felt like I was part of this story. Julia, so fiercefully loyal and Jax, so bossy and protective... and let's not forget Sawyer! I can't wait for Sawyer and Grace 's story.

I find there is a fine line with alpha males sometimes I find they come across just plain selfish but you don’t get any of that with Jaxson. You couldn’t help but love him at times I wanted to kick him and shout “what are you doing pull it together” but don’t worry he gets there in the end. He always had what he thought was Julias but interests at heart.
Julia is sweet but strong and independent always believing in Jaxson.
And what’s best is the awesome HEA
Love this new series and will be reading them all.

Good scenes. The 2ndary characters are interesting and u want to read about them. I think the 6 years thing is a little drawn out but and predictable towards end it it's worth the read. I read it twice throughout the time I had it. Want to read Cade's story the most. He has a Interesting mysterious vibe going.

This book fits right in with the typical alpha male books that are so popular today. Jaxson is a bit possessive and has a mouth on him, but that is part of what makes him who he is. I read this book in one day, and I will be rereading it again soon while I wait for the author's next book in the Men of Honor series. I love how much Jaxon loves Julia even when he doesn't realize it! Way to go K.C. Lynn......bring us some more, PLEASE!!!

Jaxson and Julia's love has spanned the years before Jaxson finally gets it together and decides he will stop fighting what he has always wanted. This story of love is so strong and all consuming it swallows you whole. You find yourself sucked in after the first chapter and you want more than an epilogue (thank god it is a series). Can't wait for the next installment....

I loved reading this story of Jaxson and Julia and following them through years of their relationship. There were some definite steamy scenes and the characters are easy to fall in love with.

I loved this book, strong sexy men, love, sex, someone who loves and protects you and you just want to feel that his strong arms could just wrap themselves around you and protect you from everything, I love this book so much, it had me wanting to discover what happened to the other characters in the book, so I went and brought the next two books.

I enjoyed this story overall. I was invested in the characters, it had some twists and turns, and tires plenty of loose ends and additional characters to explore in future books. As with some books there were a few situations or instances in the story that had me rolling my eyes but nothing that really distracted me too much from the story. If you enjoy authors such as Kristen Ashely I would recommend this book.

I couldnt put this book down! Normally when I read a really good book I find its over too quickly but this book ... I found I was content and satisfied with it...like taking your first cup of coffee in the morning and you let out a sigh...thats how I felt with this book and I have a feeling its going to be like with the rest of this authors books!

This book was totally awesome. I loved how the story never lagged even for a little bit, there was always something happening. I totally fell in love with the characters and the way they interacted with one another. I also enjoyed the fact that there were barely any typos, maybe 3, but that says a lot compared to other books I've read. I just wish we didn't have to wait so long for the next book.

I love gram's and can't wait to read the stories of the other guys and I hope there's another and another and another because I couldn't put this book down I read it straight through. I'm giving five stars because I love reading about the sex humor and the book had mystery to.

There are not enough words do describe how much I loved this book!! Immediately after reading it I was ready to turn back to page one and start all over. Jaxson is so hot and Julia is his perfect fit. It is a wonderfully romantic story with plenty of hot sex and good humor thrown in. I loved their friends almost as much as I loved them and I can't wait for the next book!

Okay... I have to admit, I downloaded a sample of this book & kept it on my phone for a while before reading it... not sure whether or not I would like it. Well... boy was I wrong. As soon as I broke down & read the sample I was hooked & bought the book before I even finished the sample. I really liked this book & LOVE the fact that they got their HEA.... Whoo Hoo! I have totally become that reader that puts off buying if I see cliffhanger in the reviews. This will be a series but looks like each book will be about different characters... and I will be buying the next book.

Romance with an actual story. Good interaction between the characters, everything ties together nicely. Would not have guessed this was a debut novel. Stand alone novel that teases you just enough to be curious about what happens to the other characters without being obnoxious. I would say 4.5 stars.

Great book! Came across this on Facebook as a freebie and couldn't be happier. Loved that it was a full length novel. Loved that it was a stand-alone with no cliffhanger. Loved the characters and the storyline. Jax and Julia are hot! Will be sticking with this author and definitely reading more in this series!

I really enjoyed this book. The main characters were adorable together! The only reason I gave this book 4 stars instead of 5 was because I found the last half of the book to be very predictable. The scene Arthur nursing home was my favorite! I was literally laughing out loud!
