Don't Close Your Eyes (Bryant Brothers Book 1)

I absolutely loved this book. From the first chapter I was hooked and I literally couldn't put this book down. I loved Liam and I want a man like him. His willingness to do anything to make Olivia happy had me swooning. The sex scenes were so freaking hot that I needed to change my panties lol. I love how Hilary gets inside her characters and gives us readers every aspect that she can. Hilary is a phenomenal writer and I can't wait to read more about the Bryant Brothers. In the mean time if you haven't read this book then you need to and while your at it puck up her other series th ed Rebel Walking.

This book has great pace. It zips along and there's no unnecessary angst of childish self-doubt. There's also a decent little mystery that could have been slightly better delivered, but the book is light years ahead of most books on Kindle Unlimited. The Heroine is an actual adult. I'm sick of reading books about the 19-24 crowd. They are silly and self absorbed. I'm thrilled she's not a stripper, escort or bartender. I already read another is this author's stories, "Six." This book is better.

I had the honor of meeting Hilary this past weekend, where she told me about her books and the story behind the writing of this first book! I enjoyed reading the adventure of Livi finding her second love and having the courage to hold on to it.

The story was all over the place and the characters feeling for each other were undeveloped. It felt like they went from having sex to falling in love with no real getting to know you time. This book was very easy to put down and walk away from and I almost did just that. It doesn't get interesting until chapter 11 and even then it was very predictable. This was the first book I've ever read from this author and I don't think I'll be finishing the series.

The story line was good but something seemed missing, in parts it felt rushed and well the h just seemed a bit unlike able to me. I get the grief but she seemed to want the H to be better when she herself wasn't giving her all she just kind of got on my nerves

I really enjoyed this book. It was quick. I liked the mystery of the book and how the she had to listen to herself on who she should trust. I loved Liam and his family and hope there are more on the family.

I really enjoyed reading this short standalone, I couldn't put it down until I was done. It was shocking to learn the truth about Michael and his obsession with Olivia. She was clueless through it all trying to find herself after James' death. My only complaint is wanting more of James' backstory and his investigation. Other than that it's a hot story!!

Great start to the Bryant Brothers Series, this is Liam and Olivia's story. This is a quick and easy read but the story still had it all....sexy, suspenseful, dramatic, emotional, romance, with a twist!
