I enjoyed "Die for me" with Karen Rose, and despite what many others have said I think the title works very well for this book.

The book had a great plot and interesting characters. It was well written (for the most part), but occasionaly the language didn't have a nice flow to it.

I would definitely recommend this book. I'm going to start reading the sequal "Scream for me" now.

The modern world of computer games collides with medieval torture, throwing together police detective Vito Ciccotelli and archaeologist Sophie Johannsen. From a snowy Philadelphia field to a recreated dungeon, Vito and Sophie track a serial killer who is intent on making his victim provide him with the perfect scream. This fast-paced thriller packs in the best of suspense with the compelling relationship that develops between Sophie and Vito. Family obligations and professional goals collide for the main characters throughout, bringing them alive on the page and allowing for well-developed supporting characters. A riveting read from the first page, this page-turner will keep you up all night. Rose has done it again!

Clear your calendar and stock up on food. Once you start reading Die for Me, you won't want to stop. (I missed church and was late for work!) This is the author's best work yet and I really enjoyed her other books. Timely subject matter and superb storytelling make this a must read. As each storyline picks up you soon see they are all on a collision course and you must continue to read to see who is still standing at the end.

I just reread this book in preparation for her newest, Scream For Me. She is an amazing author - I cannot put her books down once I start them. Scream For Me promises to be another unforgettable read. I wish Karen Rose could write faster!

Vito's story is great though kind of disturbing...Karen Rose's characters can definitely be a little...o.k., a lot...whacko! It took me a while to get into the book, but once I was in...WOW! I can't wait for the next one!

Very readable if you can stomach the gore. I needed something to read and the author made much of her words easy and appealing. I may read another book by this author before I make a final promise to read all of her books.
