Suddenly Forbidden is about two friends, Quinn and Daisy who grew up together as young kids. They started off as friends and then those feelings changed to something more, feeling that end up becoming deeper yet things end up getting all messed up and things don’t work out as planned for Quinn and Daisy. Daisy and her family end up having to move away and the promises that the young lovers made when they were still young ended up broken.
2 years on, Daisy is at college and she is at “their” college, hoping to see Quinn, ready to fulfill the promise of attending the college they picked to attend when her heart is broken completely for she has realized Quinn has totally moved on without her while she had all these big plans and now she has nothing left. Not only has he moved on without her but he betrayed her in the most painfully way in the moving on part. My heart broke for Daisy when she is confronted with the scene that she sees. No one should ever have to see what she saw… immediately the tears started for me and this is how masterful the writing is of Ella Fields –she immediately had me on #TeamDaisy . I wanted to castrate Quinn but the story wasn’t in anyway over. There is all these questions as to why didn’t Quinn try harder to reach Daisy or why didn’t Daisy attempt to reach out to Quinn…ahhh my heart couldn’t handle these burning questions but onwards I continued to read.
Daisy starts on this dark path of despair, depression, heartbreak and pain as she tries to cope with the loss of Quinn but she has this wonderful new college roommate Pippa who is a godsend by listening and by showing her that not all is over, that she needed to move on. Daisy was on the edge because she was seeing Quinn everywhere so what is a girl to do? How does one handle the fact he is not with her anymore , that he is with someone else? That he is forbidden fruit? She tries to move on and go on a new path and just when she thinks things are turning the cornor, things are flipped sideways again. OMG This was insane, I literally was screaming at my kindle. Quinn and his feelings about Daisy had me going nuts over and over- watching them find their way back to each other was an emotional rollercoaster ride –I think I drank more, cried more, screamed more , laughed more with this book than with any other of late. I seriously enjoyed every emotion, every FEEL that I had and I didn’t know how I would end up feeling. I just remember praying that by the end, I wanted Daisy and Quinn to get their HEA.
And on a side note, I look forward to Pippa’s story because Daisy’s college roommate was just an awesome breath of freshness that added that added color to this story.
My Rating: 4.9 stars *****

I absolutely love Ella Fields - she is quickly becoming one of my go to authors and I am so happy that Suddenly Forbidden didnt disappoint. The story is beautifully written with great characters and story.
Quinn and Daisy have been best friends since they were 5 years old - they admitted they loved each other at 15, then everything changed and for 2 years they didnt communicate. But there was always the promise of them being together when they start college and Daisy kept her promise and attended the college they talked about hoping Quinn was there. Not only is Quinn there playing football his girlfriend is her best friend Alexis. Devastated Daisy tries to move on but she has loved Quinn her entire life how can she move on?
Quinn thinking he would never see Daisy again he did everything he could to try and forget her - including starting to date her best friend. Seeing Daisy again and realizing that everything he thought happened didnt he needs to make a final decision about who he truly belongs to Alexis or Daisy.
This book hits all the right notes for me - its a second chance romance take to the next level. There is cheating but that didn't bother me in the least. The story is well paced with flashbacks sprinkled throughout the present day narrative that helps make the reader really care for these characters. I also loved that while Daisy is beautiful inside and out she is quirky and needs glasses and that really hit home with me. I also loved the secondary characters - especially Pippa and Toby and I really hope we get more of their story. Ms Fields does spend sometime with them outlining who they are but it ended a little abruptly for me; leaving me wanting more. Don't be mistaken though this is Quinn and Daisy's story through and through.

Do you believe in first love, true love, how about soulmates? Do you believe that the world conspires against you in every single way but in the end of all the suffering the world will make it right? Well, I believe. Ella Fields has done it again, this story is just amazing. I read it in one sitting, i couldn’t put it down. It’s heartbreaking, it’s beautiful and it gives you all the feels. This characters are so well written and there is so much chemistry in this pages. You will be sucked in from beginning to end.
This is the story of Quinn and Daisy to kids that grew up together, best friends since they where 6 years old. Some call it puppy love, some just plain infatuation. But since they where small they knew that they would never change.
But as time passes things change and they have to learn to adapt to their new situation. This they never thought would happened but they have to deal with it the best way they can’t. After two years they are reunited only to find out that the universe really played them and now they just need to learn to live with their past mistakes and their future decisions.
This story is beautiful! Love is beautiful and when you find it you should never let it go. Ella Fields broke me, made me believe and put me back together in one sitting. This is a story that would stay with you once you have finish the book. I truly recommend this book, it will make you feel the power of true love.
This is my honest review!

Ella Fields has been one of my favorite authors since I was lucky enough to grab a copy of Corrode (if you haven't read it, you should grab it now.
Anyway, Suddenly Forbidden is an angst-ridden story about an all encompassing love that survives time, silence, betrayal, and pain.
Quinn and Daisy are what you would call two halves of a whole. They are, and always will be, inevitable. They share a connection so strong, no amount of distance or time could break it.
Childhood sweethearts from the start, they've shared a bond of friendship that evolved into a deeper emotion, they fell into a love so deep, they knew from that young of an age that they are meant to be.
But just as we experience in real life, Quinn and Daisy go through a series of highs and lows, of nostalgia and sadness, and the trials of everyday life as college students.
Ella Fields has delivered a very realistic story of love between soul mates that defies time and distance. She will take you on an epic journey of love and the trials and tribulations it will take you through as you see these characters you begin to love go through every single emotion, trying to find happiness.
I hurt for both Daisy and Quinn while reading this story, watching them make mistakes and face the consequences of those actions was painful. I wanted to step in, I really did. Ella will seriously pull your heartstrings with this one.
Are you ready?

Suddenly Forbidden is the first book I have read by Ella Fields and I really enjoyed reading this book. A childhood to young adult romance with lots of bumps and breaks along the way. Turns into a forbidden and second chance romance when all of the characters enter Gray Springs University.
Seven-year-old Daisy June Daniels fell in love with eight-year-old Quinn Burnell when mourning over the body of a dead rooster. He said, “I'm gonna marry you someday, Daisy June.” She thought from that day forward he would always be her's. Even when they where forced apart and had to say goodbye. Distant romances are difficult, especially when you are teenagers. And there are others working at trying to keep you apart.
For two years Daisy held on to their promise that they would both go to Gray Springs College. She naively believed they would pick back up and be together. But not having heard from her in those two years, lead Quinn to think she had left and didn't care about him anymore. He was there, but no longer her's. But what really shattered her already broken heart, he now belonged to her once best-friend. She had no intention of giving him back. All is fair in love and war!

How does that saying go?...Absence makes the heart grow fonder? Hmmmm....that may have been true for Daisy, but not so for Quinn. After Daisy and her family moved away from their hometown, a broken hearted and pissed off Quinn grew angry at the world and at Daisy. He starts partying and seeking comfort in the arms of Daisy's manipulative best friend Alexis. Alexis has always had feelings for Quinn, and makes her move to take Daisy's place once Daisy is no longer around. Daisy continues to look forward to the day she is reunited with Quinn at college, the college they always planned to attend together. She realizes Quinn never kept his promise and feels broken hearted and betrayed by her two best friends. My heart broke for Daisy. She was left heart broken and unsure of how to move forward. Her life and her future has been turned upside down and tries to move forward. Quinn realizes the mistakes he has made, but can't figure out how to move forward without hurting the people he cares about. I was so angry with Quinn, with their parents, but they were all so young that mistakes and miscommunications were bound to happen. I loved this story and their sweet ending.

Ella Fields is a name synonymous with romance. And I’m talking all encompassing, soul destroying, gut wrenching, romance. It’s the kind which many writers aim to create, but more often than not, fall short.
Fields’s latest release, Suddenly Forbidden, is deceptive in its complexity. It begins with a lingering look, builds to a resounding crescendo, and refuses to let go until the reader’s heart is either bursting or shattered.
To be honest, this book is so freaking gorgeous, I don’t think I can do it justice in a review. I mean, how can I give words to a love born from the stars and moon? How can I describe the connection between two souls destined to interlace? And how can I explain the utter devastation when life has other plans?
I can’t.
But I can assure you that this novel, this piece of absolute perfection, is worth every gasp, every sigh, every tear.
I’m making it sound sappy, aren’t I? It’s not. For the record, I’m not a fan of sweet romance. I like my novels filthy, with a healthy side helping of sweet lord, that was hot. I guess this is why I’m so dazzled by Suddenly Forbidden—it balances heat and heart so effortlessly. The reader doesn’t realise how immersed they’ve become in the story until tears dampen cheeks and butterflies explode in stomachs. Not many authors can do this. Not many authors can suspend disbelief to the extent where you swear the romantic connection between the main characters is real because it feels real.
Ella Fields can.
Which is why you must, you simply must read Suddenly Forbidden. And when your heart is pounding in time with Daisy and Quinn's, you’ll know exactly what I mean.

From the 'Prologue' I was hooked, the feels came early on and just kept coming, the past and present collide ruthlessly as we progress further into the book, hearts shattered and old friendships severed forever, this book right here put me through the paces, one minute I'd be swooning, loving the early budding friendship, falling in love with the boy next door just like Daisy did, to then be left broken hearted, along with Daisy's mine got blown to smithereens, then came the biggest betrayal of all, a best friend overlooking that friend code and pursuing something that wasn't hers to have, the anger, the rage, the hate, yes I felt it all.
But then slowly my heart started to beat again to the same rhythm as these two getting their second chance. And I swooned and got all giddy with the love for this book and the words this author made me feel. There was so much to love about this book, the secondary characters, they also took residence in my heart, and I hope we get their story. I could go on and on but the best thing I can say is come release day go one clicking this because you won't want to miss this..Highly recommended by yours truly..

This book was just perfect, it was angsty, poignant, emotional, tender and loving the perfect friends to lovers story.
Daisy and Quinn grew up together and their friendship grew into love. I loved how protective Quinn was over her, I fell in love with him too at this point. I was sad when they were cruelly ripped apart but I had hope.
Several years pass before they meet again at college and god I hated him, how did he not realise how cruel and insensitive he was being? Oh Daisy my heart ? The author did an amazing job portraying the emotions of Quinn and Daisy, I felt like I was there as part of their group.
At time’s I wanted to slap some sense into both of them they were so frustrating aaah. As the story progresses we see a change in Daisy as she works through her pain we see a more mature and determined Daisy.
This was a fabulous book and I enjoyed every wonderful word the author wrote. I really hope we get a book about Pippa and Toby soon because I loved them. The epilogue was the perfect ending to this beautiful story.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of the book.
So... I don't condone cheating. BUT, this is fiction so sometimes I can go with it if the author is right and the premise is promising. Ella Fields is one of my "will devour her words, no questions asked, blurb unread, knowing full well that she will rip my heart out and drain my tear ducts." And Suddenly Forbidden is the perfect example of why. Quinn and Daisy were so sweet and their love is enviable and the whole situation is utterly heartbreaking for all parties involved. I cried. And cried. I have never been more tempted to talk about different aspects of the plot, but I can't because it is so delicious to go in blind. I've read a few 5 star reads already this year (yay me!) and this definitely joins that hallowed list. Now Ella Fields is not just a must read author for me, I will now have to commit to purchasing all the paperbacks because she has earned and deserved all of my money. 5 out of 5 wine glasses.

Ella Fields has nailed this young adult romance! She is a true master of her art! Her words in Suddenly Forbidden are flawless. They quickly find their way into your heart and squeeze it. This second chance romance takes hold of your heart and mind from the very first page. This book takes you on a ride filled with twists and turns that my heart finally felt completely full after the last page. Quinn and Daisy were always meant to be, but obstacles, heartache and quick decisions came between them. Your heart always knows what it wants even if it seems out of reach. Quinn and Daisy's story was built on a foundation of everlasting love, their hearts never truly giving up on the other. Their journey was long and rough, but worth it! Suddenly Forbidden is a must read! Ella developed not only Quinn and Daisy's characters well, but I also loved, most, of the secondary characters! Her writing really is some of the best I've read and can not wait to see what she has in store!!

“I’m gonna marry you someday, Daisy June.”
I love a story that has romance, humor, angst, heartbreak, second chances and characters that stay with you long after you have finished the story. This book has it all!
Daisy and Quinn, best friends and childhood sweethearts, grew up together, shared every first, and loved each other before they even understood what that meant. I loved Daisy’s quirkiness, her honesty and naivety. Quinn is the typical boy next door and I love how he loves Daisy. He absolutely gets her.
"We were the breeze that ruffled the dandelions. The sun that scorched our skin red until we searched for reprieve under our favorite willow tree. And underneath the stretch of dark skies, we were each other’s stars."
You might think their love is no match for distance or competition but when they are separated, these obstacles come together to tear them apart. Even when they are reunited it would seem lasting damage has been done.
Alexis is the other friend in Quinn and Daisy’s life. We don’t get too much background about Alexis. I felt we needed this to know why she did what she did. When I read what she did to Quinn and Daisy I hated her. I wanted to climb into the book and throat punch her.
“Because magic had a way of disappearing, leaving you with an empty illusion of what you thought you once had."
In college Daisy meets Pippa. She is Daisy’s rock and always has her back. I hope we get more of Pippa and Toby’s story.
If you are looking for a beautifully written romance then you need to read Suddenly Forbidden.

Yay! My heart survived the angst and is still beating!!!!
And did I suffer with this one, Ella Fields!!
I knew what I was getting into, the warning was very clear about the cheating – a trigger for me, most of the time – but since I discovered this author last summer with Cyanide, then Frayed Silk and Corrode, I kind of “knew” she would break BUT heal my poor little heart.
So, back to the book:
Quinn and Daisy’s story is very angsty, with all the college drama, what “cheating” entails, and second chances could bring…
And we also have amazing supporting characters. Who didn’t fall in love with Pippa and Toby???
Childhood sweethearts usually don’t last, because life happens, people grow up and eventually change, so if the “changing” implies things can’t work anymore, sweethearts bleed and break and go separates ways…
But some other childhood sweethearts are meant to last, to overcome life, bad decisions, lack of maturity, betrayal and hurt…
I loved (and endured, yes, Dear Author…..) this emotional journey.
Despite the cheating plot…
Which leads me to the thing that got me really frustrated…
Yes ladies, let’s talk about the cheating GUILT.
Yes, cheating is wrong (remember, it’s a trigger for me) but in this book, I NEVER felt it was worthy all the guilt felt. and I even feel like the REAL cheating wasn’t the one that happens in college.
And if you go back to the beginning of this story, I even say that there are so many ways to cheat. You can cheat with feelings, cheat on family, a friend, a best friend…
You know where I’m going, right?
Because, there is a character that NEVER had my sympathy, and who deserved so much more, so much… Karma/Boomerang/Payback here…
When you play dirty, laying and manipulating your friends, you don’t love them, you only love yourself and use the others.
When you try to make things harder for your friends, you want to sabotage them.
When you don’t understand family ties, you are selfish and self-centered. So you don’t deserve any sympathy. You’re hurt for your loss? Well, you made your own bed. With lies and manipulations. Nothing good can come from this.
Only heartache. For you and the ones you betrayed. And if life is fair (which sadly isn’t always the case), those persons whom you betrayed with your lies may finally find out the truth, open their eyes, and even get back what you’ve stolen (yes, it’s stealing).
I strongly believe this character always plotted against her friends, she was always “there”, always “waiting” and never truly “helping” or “supporting”.
I don’t close my eyes on Quinn and Daisy’s mistakes, though, but what could have been a crisis in a young couple, because of their lack of maturity, or hurt for distance, could have work out because relationships can work despite distance.
It’s not for everybody, but it’s not impossible.
Some couples overcome distance, some don’t.
But those who could do it don’t stand a chance when they don’t have the help from their family and closest friends. Especially if people who they believe in are plotting against them and waiting in the shadows.
But life also gives you REAL best friends. Like Pippa, like Toby.
Pippa proved in some weeks what “you know who” didn’t in all those years (“you know who” even showed a quite creepy side, if you’d ask me).
So yes, taking what it’s not yours, extracting it/tearing it little by little, from who it really belongs to, manipulating to reach our goals… Does it sounds like real friendship to you?
Does it sounds like real love to you?
So yes, several “beds” were made here, but Quinn and Daisy made their own out of immaturity, frustration and hurt
The other made its own manipulating, poisoning and severing a beautiful bond, out of selfishness.
So yes, get ready for an emotional and hard journey, but it’s about love, growing up without losing your soul, assuming your mistakes and once you get another chance, doing better and never letting go again
By the way, am I the only one who needs a story for Pippa and Toby? I need it!!!
And did I suffer with this one, Ella Fields!!

Oh my "moon and stars"... Ella Fields has done it again.?? Daisy and Quinn have a childhood friendship turned undying love, that only gets complicated by teenage thoughts and actions. Fields has a way with her words that not only make the reader feel every absolute emotion, but also feel like they know each and every character. From very early in this book I fell completely in love with Quinn and Daisy. They had a sweet innocent love that everyone wishes could turn into forever. The heartbreak and gut wretching sadness that follows their young love had my stomach in knots, and me thinking back to a time when I felt the same anguish. With the help of amazing supporting characters, mainly my favorite, Pippa, these two childhood sweethearts find forgiveness, wholeness, and their "moon and stars" love they have always dreamed of. I absolutely can not recommend this story and book enough. Please do yourself a favor and add these beautiful words to your TBR list.

I absolutely adored this book by the amazingly talented Ella Fields!
What friggin' roller-coaster of emotions!
My heart completely broke for Quinn and Daisy and all the life altering circumstances that were thrown their way from the very beginning!
This book was like a checklist for all the angsty feels you could want in a novel!
Yes - there was cheating!
And...you know, I'm not a massive fan of cheating in books but this one...this one was just different.
I think without the 'cheating' element we got in this book - it would have ended up a falling a little short of how amazing it was!
To me, I felt like more like Daisy's best friend cheated on her...
She completely ignored the rules of friendship and the betrayal she served up to Daisy was a testament to how little she really valued Daisy and or their friendship!
Don't get me wrong - Quinn played a large role in this as well....but Quinn and Alexis together?!
That was the biggest betrayal in this one for me!
My heart just broke for both Daisy and Quinn and it was such a painful read that made the ending all the more sweet!
I love a tale where the love between two main characters stands not only a test of time but brings them closer together!
With no trials there would be no triumph and anything worth fighting for is worth it in the end!
What a beautiful amazing book!
I loved every second of it!

Unputdownable. Love two women/1 man love triangles. It ups the angst factor in my opinion. Don't know why. Quinn and Daisy were childhood friends and teenage lovers. They were always meant to be together. But Alexis was their friend too. And she was there for Quinn when Daisy had to move. Now they're all at the same college and all that old hurt has resurfaced combined with betrayal to make it one helluva read.
My only criticism is I think I would have liked Alexis added to the epilogue. I don't think she was a villain and I do wish for her to have a happy life. I hope she did. But, overall, excellent read and I'm looking forward to more from Toby and Pippa. Well done.

So excited finally got a chance to get into Suddenly Forbidden, i bought it as soon as i saw all the big recommendations came and i am so glad i did.
I really loved this story, this was my first Ella Fields books and i loved her writing it was so easy to read and so enjoyable and exciting.
This story is based in college and i am loving these type of stories at the moment and this book did not disappoint. I love the back story these two characters had and i loved how at the beginning we went between the past and present and we could connect with the characters.
When we find out what had happened between these two and what happened when they finally got to college you just knew there was going to be angst, drama and a lot of back and forth.
I loved Daisy i thought she was sweet and had a big heart and she felt everything with it and followed it even if it was set to break and i felt so sorry for her in certain parts.
Quinn i actually felt sorry for he just didn’t know how to handle his situations and at times i think he felt like he was drowning.
I don’t want to say too much as i think everyone just needs to go in blind and really enjoy and get really into the story
Absolutely loved it and can’t wait to read more Ella Fields books

Where to start? This is my first Ella Fields book & it won’t be my last. I read it in 2 days & that rarely ever happens anymore. It was recommend to me by my blog partners & they never steer me wrong. And boy am I glad I read this one. I absolutely loved how this story started off & how we got a glimpse of Quinn, Daisy & Alexa’s younger years. I don’t always like that, but it was written so good that I was glued to it. Daisy & Quinn’s love for each other was so beautiful, that I was kind of jealous of them. That’s crazy because they’re fictional characters, but I felt it. Then add the friendship of Alexa, it was perfect. Then a bomb was dropped & my heart was broken. It hurt. I hurt for them. I was sad & wanted to cry for them. I wanted to tell them it’ll be ok. There were many ups & downs through this novel, especially while they were in college. I couldn’t stop reading. I could feel the connection between the characters. There was so much chemistry between them, making you feel what they were feeling. It’s crazy how an author can do that. I was very happy with where the storyline went & I’m really, really hoping for another book telling Toby & Pippa’s story. Maybe even one with Alexa. That would be awesome! I highly recommend this one if you like friends to lovers romance with alllll the feels.

Suddenly Forbidden uses flashbacks to explain the long standing relationship between Quinn and Daisy. Unfortunately, flashbacks are a tactic in writing that either goes off brilliantly or faceplants in utter disaster. There is not usually a middle ground. It does not work well in this novel. It does not heighten the tension but takes away from it. Just when Quinn and Daisy seem to be getting somewhere they are interrupted by useless memories. Fields would have been better to spend 20-30 pages detailing their past first then maybe here or there throwing in a page or two of memories.
This would have driven the tension along better, and made the characters a bit more mature. They still seemed stuck as the teenagers in the flashbacks rather then the young adults they were trying to be. The entire plot scheme of being forbidden was just nonsense. Rather this is a story of lovers reconnecting. Fields should have built on the theme of two people reconnecting after time and life tore them apart.
From all the good reviews and title, I was expecting a bit more from this novel. It is not terrible. There is something still interesting about the characters and the story. It just needs more of the elements that work and less of the childish drama.

Overall Opinion: I'm definitely a minority on this one, as this was frustrating for me. The reason for physical separation was understandable and couldn't be helped, but the reason for them not communicating for two years was not understandable for me. I was waiting for a big reveal to explain that somehow they were sabotaged and that would explain why both of them just seemed to give up on their epic love, but it never came. I always feel like I need that understanding when reading a second chance romance for it to work for me. I also didn't like or even get the H's behavior at times. I think he could've gone about many things so much differently and I would've respected him more for it. Oh well, can't win them all -- right?!

Brief Summary of the Storyline: This is Daisy and Quinn's story. They've known each other since they were young children and had always shared a strong bond that turns into love when they get older. Something happens and they end up separated, but are reunited two years later at the college they both promised to attend. Daisy is shocked to find that Quinn is in a relationship with her old best friend instead of waiting for her like she waited for him. There are some dramatic moments and some sexy times...and they get a HEA ending.
POV: This alternated between Daisy and Quinn's POV.
Overall Pace of Story: Good. I never skimmed and I thought it flowed well.
Instalove:No, they've known each other since they were young children.
H rating: 3 stars. Quinn. Young Quinn? I loved! Older Quinn? Not so much. I didn't like his behavior a lot of the time.
h rating: 4 stars. Daisy. I liked her. I felt bad for her situation, but I also appreciated how she (understandably) struggled with her feelings at times.
Sadness level: Low/moderate. I teared up a few times, but I never needed any tissues.
Push/Pull: Yes
Heat level: Good. They have some good tension, chemistry, and scenes -- but not so much it takes away from the story.
Descriptive sex: Yes
OW/OM drama: Yes
Sex scene with OW or OM: Not technically
Cheating: Yes
Separation: Yes
Closure: This had alright closure with what I would call a HEA ending. I still had some unanswered questions though and that was a little frustrating.

OMG!!! Everyone loves a loved a lost and found again.... Well my girl Ella, let me tell you. I read the ARC of Suddenly Forbidden... I'm not sure how many times I cried, laughed, sighed, and cussed at my phone.... But the characters and their feelings are so well defined that it makes this book so much more angsty... Quinn and Daisy are right up there with all Ella other lovers.... I cannot stand a girl who thinks it's her right to take what doesn't belong to her, but ahe gets what is coming to her. This book definately deserves more than 5 stars.....

Ella Field's writing just gets better and better. I could not put this book down and read it in a day. She sucks you in with beautiful writing about first love and second chances that is full of angst and incredibly sweet. I laughed, i cried and I fell in love with Daisy and Quinn. You couldn't do not help it. The secondary characters are fantastic and of I hated Alexis . I did not want this to end!! More please Ella!!

I say bring on the angsty love triangle second chance cheating storyline. My fake reading world loves a good cheating book. It’s not going down in my real life so I love to read all about it in my fictional one. No juggies here, my pretend friends. Pass the popcorn! Sure, I thought Daisy was being a tad bit delusional thinking that Quinn would wait for her. That girl was hanging on to their dream for dear life. I wasn’t really sold on Quinn for a bit, but the dude grew on me. The boy just didn’t know how to deal with his broken heart and went about it the wrong way. But really, show me someone who can deal with all of that mess perfectly. Uh, no one. I can say, I was all about this book. I wanted to see where it was going and how it was going to end. It had me hooked. I can’t wait to read Pippa and Toby’s book. Pippa is very creative in the swearing department. I need to find out what is up with Toby.

Suddenly Forbidden was one of those books that pretty much made me speechless. I can't think of a word that sums up how much I LOVE this book. I would say Ella continues to surprise me with each of her releases, but I've expected to be wowed by the second book of hers.
I know so people would be hesitant to read this with cheating involved, but I encourage you to do so. You'd be missing out of one hell of a book!!! I never have a problem with that topic in my books and Ella did it beautifully. I could FEEL the love between Quinn and Daisy pouring off the pages. Speaking of Daisy, I had a woman crush on her. I loved her personality and her STRENGTH through everything was AMAZING.
Right now I'm just really HOPING Toby and Pippa will get their own book. I NEED some answers and more of these characters. I'm not yet satisfied. ?

Wonderful characters, I'm glad she (the author) took the material seriously and didn't downplay the cheating or the long term effects it had on everyone. I'm glad she didn't make Alexis into a bad guy even though she also made many mistakes. I think this book shows that people can be stupid and do really crap and cruel things to each other out of their emotional.instabilities and irrational reactions but it doesn't make them bad people. Sometimes life just doesn't piece together the way we want and we are all victims of our circumstances. The here and now is always the best time and place to start over and try to do.things better. I thought the story was great and the characters. I loved the setup for Pippa and Toby' s story and I'm.ready to get started on it

Wow forever love, can it truly happen. Quinn & Daisy have known each other since they were very young. As neighbors they were inseparable. The best friends realize as they become teenagers that their friend love has grown deeper. Their connection is as fun as it is deep. As they make plans for their future, Daisy and her parents have to move due to a new job for her dad. The long distance relationship begins to unravel. Daisy holds on for 2 years and enrolls to the college they dreamed of attending. Unsure what to expect, Daisy is blindsided when she actually comes face to face with Quinn. This story is about love, betrayal, pain, and experiencing a lot of firsts. Quinn & Daisy’s roommates Pippa & Toby add depth and unconditional friendship to this young lovers story. A wonderful book with a beautiful HEA!

I will say that while this book was pretty childish in places I did enjoy it. The cheating aspect wasn’t what I thought it would be. Quinn was such a good guy but his love for the Daisy hurt others and added to the drama of the story. I do think that the same drama could have been achieved without making such a good guy a cheater. I’m the type of reader that enjoys the angst of cheating but to me, with these characters it really didn’t fit for me. Maybe if Quinn was at least a little bit of a jerk it would have worked better but he wasn’t. The second chance these characters got was slow going but I did feel their love for each other. I do plan to read the next book. Pippa and Toby have me intrigued. 3 stars #2OCCJD

This book was a young adult romance between Daisy and Quinn. They were next door neighbors who were in each other's lives as best friends that grew into an epic love. The trouble starts when Daisy and her family move away when she was 16 and hurt feelings and lack of communication sever their friendship and relationship. Life moves on and a couple years pass when they meet again in college. Their crazy chemistry and love are still there, but Quinn is now dating Alexis, their other childhood friend. No one wants to admit the the truth and hurt feelings and desire are everywhere. Mistakes are made and friendships and love are lost and rebuilt. Quinn was an idiot, but he does realize his errors and finds the maturity to take responsibility for them. This book was a good young adult romance to read.

I have just been on a wonderfully heartbreaking rollercoaster ride! I knew as soon as I started reading that my heart was going to be shattered and Ella Fields did not hold back on me. I was gutted from beginning till end. Thank God for that perfect epilogue to make me smile because there were so many times I didn't know if I would. I have never hurt so much for a character the way I did Daisy. She had high expectations to continue an epic first love when she got to college but they haven't even talked in two years. So naturally things don't go as planned when she sees Quinn for the first time and he has moved on.
Honestly there's just not enough words for how amazing this book is. It's not an easy read and my feelings are still all over the place but I think everyone should read this book!!

This book consumed me. It set my emotions on fire and left me breathless. Every word of this novel was devoured and I could hardly put it down for fear that I would miss something I so achingly needed. I loved this book. Even though there were times where I hated what was happening, I still couldn't stop myself from feeling every heartbreaking moment. This is a truly beautifully written book with enough angst to satiate my need for it for an entire year. And I highly recommend it to fellow readers even though it has moments that will infuriate you. There is cheating, momentary lapses in judgement, and emotionally devastating situations when it comes to first loves. But I wouldn't change a thing about it. And I don't think many readers would either.

Are the anything Ella Fields can’t write? This book was AMAZING. I couldn’t put the book down, I read it in one sitting. Because it was so good!! I really liked Daisy, and I felt her pain through every word. I liked Quinn too, even though I had this hate/love relationship with him sometimes. Nothing takes you back to being a teenager than a broken heart! I loved this story. I thought the characters were great. They grew up near one another, and were best friends. Thought they would be together forever, and they would but not before a little heart ache. I felt those emotions of seeing one another again. I felt Daisy heartache over having to leave and finding out her boyfriend and her best friend were now together. I didn’t like the cheating, but it happens. I think they truly were better after going thru those experiences. The ending perfect! I love know what comes next for them!

A sweet second chance at love read. The characters were so endearing. I loved Daisy. She was not your perfect girl. She was a little bit nerdy, had a heart of gold and oblivious to those around her at times. She was so well written that I could actually see her art work in my head. Quinn will make you sigh. He was also a very nice guy with a heart of gold. Pippa was a riot. She made me laugh out loud all the time. If you like a romantic read that makes you swoon and gives you just a little amount of angst then this is it. I also liked that the epilogue was way into the future so you could see how things turned out for Quinn and Daisy.

ANGST ALERT!!!!!!
I saw a friend post her review of this book and I just knew I had to read it immediately. It was amazing!
There is nothing I love more than books that bring out pitter patter of the heart, the nail biting nerves, the complete THUD when your heart drops. By Chapter 4 I was feeling all of this!!! That chapter alone brought me to my knees.
There is so much right about this book. The characters are so wonderfully written. I started and finished in one day simply because I could not put it down without finding out what happened next.
This is my favorite kind of book. And if you love ANGST, you must read NOW!

I love this book. A great story of second chances, heart break and friendship gone wrong. Quinn is a awesome guy that was thrown for loop and heart broken. He pretty much latched onto what he could that reminded him of the love he lost, but in the process ruined two hearts. Daisy was torn between a long distance and the love she had for Quinn and thought she was doing right by him to let him go until college. But things had changed and her friend had done her dirty. Now she has to pick up the pieces and survive.

Warning, this book is definitely a love triangle with cheating.
I'm not usually a fan of love triangles, but I had started the book and had to finish. It was a good in between read. I became more interested in the side characters.

Young Love, First Love, Forever Love......sometimes love begins to bloom at an early age. It’s love pure and simple. It’s love that Daisy and Quinn know will last the test of time.......until distance separates them.
This story is told in past and present tense in the beginning. Daisy, the sweet, quirky girl who loves to draw, and Quinn, the sweet, protector, football star are kids who grow up together. They are inseparable and form a forever bond. But in present tense, Daisy is a college freshman, an artist, attending the college that her and Quinn always said they would go to together. Only they aren’t together anymore but Daisy has kept her love intact for Quinn. But when Daisy sees Quinn, he has moved on. But when Quinn sees Daisy, did he really move on?
I will say, I’m not a big fan of NA, especially 18 yrs of age. It’s just not a genre for me. But I will say I loved Daisy and Quinn’s story. It was a sweet story of First Love and Forever Love. It was beautifully told with just the right amount of angst filled with love and heartache and loneliness and happiness. Being in love, getting hurt and moving on are all rights of passage. But when Love is Forever, the path back to finding one other can sometimes be gritty, painful and hurtful to themselves and others. There is some cheating but with their young ages and their prior feelings, I somehow can’t fault them.
I felt all the emotions with this story. I may be older but who hasn’t had a broken heart? The author expressed the feelings and angst so well that it transported me back in time remembering my heartaches.
Daisy and Quinn and the cast of supporting characters, Alexis, Pippa, Callum and Toby, created a sweet and angsty read. While in college, not everyone gets to have a HEA but for Daisy and Quinn....Young, First and Forever Love triumphs!! I must say I loved the Epilogue too!!
For lovers of NA it’s a must and for those who maybe aren’t a fan of the genre, it’s worth going outside your comfort zone and giving Suddenly Forbidden a chance!!

I loved it, even thou I normally dislike inner monologues because they tend to be repetitive the way the author wrote it was more of expressing the way the characters felt the going over the situation. For some may be a cheating trigger but one of the best traits of this heroine is that she recognizes in the end she is not the one at fault for something that was just a call to their destiny as cheesy as it may be.
I would definitely recommend.

Wow! This book was absolutely amazing. Ella has written a phenomenal book. I'm so glad I got to read this one early. The writing is beautifully written and it pulls you in right from the very beginning. I don't think I've read a book like this in a long time. Without giving too much away, my favorite scenes were the flashbacks. Absolutely amazing read. I'll definitely be adding this to my collection.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

This was a fun, intense, and wonderful story of love, forgiveness, and second chances. Daisy was refreshing, she is a lovable character and her heartbreak was palpable. I really could not put this book down. Conflicting emotions but easily understandable due to the age of the characters. Pippa! I want her story Next. What an amazing friend...every girl needs a friend like Pippa. Alex...I kinda feel sorry for her. I wish we knew what happened to her?

Wow what an amazing 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read by this amazing, talented, phenomenal author. Second of all don't let this beautiful cover fool you into believing it's all flowers and hearts. It's the pages In between that sets your heart afloat with beautiful soothing words of childhood love and promises. Then when you least expect it...Boom! it tears your heart into a million little pieces and oh so slowly repairs it. I loved this book and this author. Bravo Mrs. Fields it was brilliant!

This book was frustrating. Quinn was a jerk and they get their HEA but it wasn't rushed but I felt like things were missing. Once he found out Alexa was lying to him about Daisy he should have broken up with her. The girl destroys her room and belongings and art and nothing happens to her? The whole break up and him not thinking she was waiting for was kinda lame. They were young but still it was kinda disappointing.

The story of Quinn and Daisy, a second chance romance novel..
Quinn and Daisy Story started when they were just kids, being childhood friends and sharing lots of important moments and memories.. they thought they will be together forever, they thought they would get married and some day have their happily ever after.. promises will be broken and life will separate them.. not knowing what the future would bring, nothing has prepare them for what destiny had instore..
"We more than meant a lot to each other. We were the breeze that ruffled the dandelions. The sun that scorched our skin red until we searched for reprieve under our favorite willow tree. and underneath the stretch of dark skies, we were each other's stars"
Quinn never thought she could forget him, she never thought he would move on.. But something happens that their life changed forever... not everything is what it seems.. friendships will be at stake and their love will be at test.. Only they can save their heart and soul..
"she was my first in every way, in a way that messed up something fundamental inside me when i realized we weren't going to be each other's last"
Daisy is now ready to start her college degree, happy that finally her life has come to this point where she thought she will see him and meet him again.. she had some much hope in her heart that she was afraid he wouldn't attend to and see her again, like they promise years ago.. but her dreams would be crashed very soon, because not everything we wanted and wish for, comes out the way we want...
"You can be the most beautiful person in the world and that doesn't mean a damn thing if you're a shitty human"
She took what belonged to her, she had a piece of her heart too. They were the most inseparable friends but after seeing them together, she is not sure her feelings where mutual.. She wasn't sure if she was still her friend or it was just the memories of what they shared... only when she started to feel her heart broken into million pieces, she would understand what her friendship meant..
but not matter if her heart was aching, she's not afraid to love because she always had so much love to give...
This is a very beautiful love story... since the beginning of the book you can feel the love between Quinn and Daisy, they were meant to be together, no matter how young they were.. love doesn't have age.. but also, you can feel the growth on the characters, how slowly their innocent love start to change with time into something more mature.. nobody could understand this amazing love Quinn and Daisy had, not even their parents, not even their "best friend".. but they would have to understand lets just hope is not too late..

"You smell and taste like my heart and feel like f... heaven"
"Because without the stars, the moon is left alone to battle the dark"
There're other important characters in the story of Quinn and Daisy, like Pippa she is a very solid rock in Daisy's life, without her, Daisy wouldn't had survive.. Toby another amazing character and somehow a support for Quinn.. Callum who is going through something similar to Daisy and in someway they keep trying to help each other, to sooth their mutual pain.. and last but not least wait until you meet Alexis aka the back stabbing B.... you'll need to have a shovel near by to dig her own grave lol that's all I'm going to say..
This was another Great book by Ella Field's, emotional, angsty but always full of love and real life situations.. what i love about Ella's words is, she always make you feel the characters so deep, is like in someway you feel the feelings of each character, like if you were really living that situation or walking on the characters shoes.. it's deep, is vibrant and as always very original with a lot of twists that you won't see them coming..
Wishing so badly that Pippa and Toby get their own story..
