Big Pumpkin

Great story for kids ( deserves 5 stars), but the formatting means you are stuck with a font about the size of a gnat's nose. Almost impossible to read on my ipad or nook kindles. Needs an update to correct this.

I got this book based on the other reviews written, and I love it! It is wonderfully written and has lovely illustrations. I am not quite sure if my 7 month old likes it as well as I do, yet, but I sure do like reading it to him! It has a fantastic rhythm and a good moral.

This is a clever story, wonderfully illustrated and told with repetition which both captivates the young listener, and offers "poetry-like" rhythm for the reader! I loved sharing this book with our grandchildren!

I used Big Pumpkin in a Special Education classroom with Autistic and multi-disabled children. I used sequencing activities with it. The children loved it and wanted it reread many times. Excellent book!
