This is an amazing story so heartbreaking in many ways. The girls parents never were available to take care of her. That was not her fault. They are to blame for what happens to her. The story is shocking how these predators work. I had no idea how easy they can get children in to this web of horror. Ms Rosenblatt if you read these reviews. I'm so glad you leaned on God to help you through this horrible nightmare. God will never leave you or fake you.

Stolen is one of those books that forever changes the way you see the world and the way you respond to the difficult injustices of the world.
I could not stop reading Katariina’s story, as difficult as it was. This is a gritty, harrowing inside look at what she experienced and a reminder that something more must be done to stop this.
But thank God, this book is also a glorious reminder of the hope Katariina and women like her all over the world can have in our great God. A reminder that He can work all things together for our good and His glory.

This book was a good documentary about a the story of a sex trafficking survivor. There is a lot of shared information and good lessons learned, although the book at times sounded a little like a text book. I'm not sure I would recommend this for everyone, although if you are particularly interested in this subject it is a good option for learning from first hand experience.

This is a extremely encouraging and eye-opening book. Katariina documents her history of being tricked into the sex trafficking and drug addiction lifestyle as a very young girl. Her story evolves into one of hope and redemption as she finds Christ and accepts His salvation, forgiveness, and courage to turn away from the reality she knew. She ends the last couple chapters of the book explaining how her organization There is HOPE in Me helps save victims of sex trafficking and abuse, and walks with them as they learn how to live a new life. The first half of the book reads like a novel---I was intrigued but disgusted all at the same time. I was eager to find out what would happen next, but horrified at the reality of it all. The second half of the book recounts her journey to redemption, and it left me feeling encouraged that God can save anyone from anything. It also made me more aware of the reality of sex trafficking, all over the world and in our own local cities. I feel it was an important read for me as a parent, raising my children in this fallen world. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone, but particularly those who are survivors of sex trafficking or abuse and anyone who is or one day will be a parent. God is given the credit and the glory for Katariina's transformation, but you do not have to be a Christian to enjoy this book. Highly recommend!

What a powerful story. When I hear the phrase "sex trafficking" I usually think of a young girl being kidnapped against her will by strangers. Ms. Rosenblatt shows that isn't always the case. Her story is so poignant and heartbreaking, and yet it could be any young girl or boy's story right here in America. In Cecil Murphey's able hands, Ms. Rosenblatt's story comes to life and you find yourself immersed in the misery that was her young life. Thankfully, she escaped from that prison and now helps other young people avoid the same mistakes. A very good read!

I read this in one sitting, mesmerized by a world I cannot understand, one where vulnerable young girls are primped and groomed for a sex trafficking. Katariina's story broke my heart. I am grateful she has used her horrible experience to help other young women escape.

There is something in this book that almost everyone can relate to and utilize in order to strengthen themselves and impact others. A must read for government officials, counselors, teachers, and parents, to protect youth and enlighten leaders and lay people as to what may be going on in their own backyards.
